You need the Spirit of Truth   May 8, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus spoke to his disciples in the Gospel today about the future, the time when He would be gone. He wanted to prepare them for their mission after His Death, Resurrection and Ascension into heaven. What did He tell them is the most important thing they would need when He is gone? It was and is the gift of the Holy Spirit! “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:12-15) We are also disciples of the Lord, and we have the very same need! We need the Holy Spirit, in order to carry on Jesus’ mission in our world today. Our Lady has come in our time, to lead us in this mission. And she too tells us we must receive the Holy Spirit, and in prayer be led by Him daily! Here are 5 messages to meditate on during the prayer of the Rosary today! June 9, 1984 (Saturday) “Dear children! Tomorrow night pray for the Spirit of Truth! Especially, you from the parish because you need the Spirit of Truth to be able to convey the messages just the way they are, neither adding anything to them, nor taking anything whatsoever away from them, but just the way I said them. Pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire you with the spirit of prayer, so you will pray more. I, your Mother, tell you that you are praying little. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 17, 1986 “Dear children! You are absorbed with material things, but in the material you lose everything that God wishes to give you… I call you, dear children, to pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are necessary for you now in order to be able to give witness to my presence here and to all that I am giving you. Dear children, let go to me so I can lead you completely. Don’t be absorbed with material things. Thank you for having responded to my call.” June 25, 1996 “Dear children! Today I thank you for all the sacrifices you have offered me these days. Little children, I invite you to open yourselves to me and to decide for conversion. Your hearts, little children, are still not completely open to me and therefore, I invite you again to open to prayer so that in prayer the Holy Spirit will help you, that your hearts become of flesh and not of stone. Little children, thank you for having responded to my call and for having decided to walk with me toward holiness.” May 25, 1998 “Dear children! Today I call you, through prayer and sacrifice, to prepare yourselves for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Little children, this is a time of grace and so, again, I call you to decide for God the Creator. Allow Him to transform and change you. May your heart be prepared to listen to, and live, everything which the Holy Spirit has in His plan for each of you. Little children, allow the Holy Spirit to lead you on the way of truth and salvation towards eternal life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 25, 2000 “Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you. In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting. I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Seek the Holy Spirit!   May 7, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! I am getting very excited about Pentecost! It is less than two weeks away! The Ascension of the Lord into Heaven is this week!!! We are at a very powerful moment in the Church year! We need to prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. If we neglect to pray and seek the Lord during these days before Pentecost, this time of grace may pass us by. How sad that would be. God wants to fill us with His power and His love, but do we have time for Him? Here are five messages to ponder as we begin our preparation for Pentecost. May we ask Mother Mary open our hearts in prayer to God’s love and His gifts this Pentecost! May 25, 1998 “Dear children! Today I call you, through prayer and sacrifice, to prepare yourselves for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Little children, this is a time of grace and so, again, I call you to decide for God the Creator. Allow Him to transform and change you. May your heart be prepared to listen to, and live, everything which the Holy Spirit has in His plan for each of you. Little children, allow the Holy Spirit to lead you on the way of truth and salvation towards eternal life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 25, 2009 “Dear children! In this time, I call you all to pray for the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every baptized [person], so that the Holy Spirit may renew you all and lead you on the way of witnessing your faith – you and all those who are far from God and His love. I am with you and intercede for you before the Most High. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 9, 1985 “Dear children! No, you do not know how many graces God is giving you. You do not want to move ahead during these days when the Holy Spirit is working in a special way. Your hearts are turned toward the things of earth and they preoccupy you. Turn your hearts toward prayer and seek the Holy Spirit to be poured out on you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 17, 1986 “Dear children! Today I invite you to open yourselves to God by means of prayer so the Holy Spirit may begin to work miracles in you and through you. I am with you and I intercede before God for each one of you because, dear children, each one of you is important in my plan of salvation. I invite you to be carriers of good and peace. God can give you peace only if you convert and pray. Therefore, my dear little children, pray, pray, pray and do that which the Holy Spirit inspires you. In this time of grace, I call you to prayer…   May 6, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady often speaks about being in a time of grace. She is so aware of the action of the Holy Spirit, that she can see what the Spirit is doing in the world in a precise way. She is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit! She is actually filled with the Holy Spirit! So she has eyes to see what the Holy Spirit is doing! With this awareness, Our Lady comes to us to help us. We must look a bit like little blind newborn puppies!! We are not able to discern the Holy Spirit’s actions very well! But Our Lady knows that we can grow in our awareness and understanding of the work of the Spirit. And so she speaks to us in so many ways to open us up and awaken us to the presence of Her Special Spouse! Here is one such message in which Mother Mary calls us to prayer, so that we can actually begin to comprehend what the Spirit is doing in our lives. Listen to her motherly wisdom: May 25, 2001 “Dear children! At this time of grace, I call you to prayer. Little children, you work much but without God’s blessing. Bless and seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead you at this time so that you may comprehend and live in the grace of this time. Convert, little children, and kneel in the silence of your hearts. Put God in the center of your being so that, in that way, you can witness in joy the beauty that God continually gives in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We see how very much Our Lady operates in the power of the Holy Spirit. She sees that this is a time of grace, but that we obviously don’t see it! We work much but without God’s blessing! That is because we don’t seek to receive the Holy Spirit and understand the time of grace we are in.| We need to pray, convert (which is turning towards God), and then we will be lead by the Holy Spirit into that time of grace we happen to be in! Her words are a textbook for prayer: Convert! Kneel in the silence of your heart! Put God in the center of your being! In that way, you can witness in joy the beauty that God continually gives in your life. Every day, this needs to happen. The beauty we will witness is the healing power of the Holy Spirit! Be my extended hands…   May 3, 2024 St. Philip and St James Dear Family of Mary! …You, little children, be prayer and my extended hands of love for all those who are in darkness and seek the light of our God. Thank you for having responded to my call. ( April 25, 2024 ) It is such an honor that Our Lady would ask us to be her extended hands!! Who would have ever guessed we would have such an honor? We cannot hold back our yes!! Yes! Dearest Mother, we want to be your extended hands!! Here is another message in which she made such an appeal to us. May we accept her offer with joy! November 25, 2009  “Dear children! In this time of grace I call you all to renew prayer in your families. Prepare yourselves with joy for the coming of Jesus. Little children, may your hearts be pure and pleasing, so that love and warmth may flow through you into every heart that is far from His love. Little children, be my extended hands, hands of love for all those who have become lost, who have no more faith and hope. Be prayer and my extended hands…   May 2, 2024 St. Athanasius Dear Family of Mary! Dear children! I am with you to tell you that I love you and to encourage you to prayer; because Satan is strong and every day his strength is stronger through those who have chosen death and hatred. You, little children, be prayer and my extended hands of love for all those who are in darkness and seek the light of our God. Thank you for having responded to my call. ( April 25, 2024 ) Our Lady ends this message with a call to us to make a difference in this great conflict between good and evil. She tells us to truly become her coworkers. She needs us in a down-to-earth practical way. Her call is very concrete: “You, little children, be prayer and my extended hands of love for all those who are in darkness and seek the light of our God.” She offers us two ways to help her gather in her children who are still lost in the darkness. 1) Be Prayer… for all those who are in darkness and seek the light of our God.” This can only mean that our entire beings must become like burning candles set before the altar of the Lord, full of holy worship and adoration for the One who loves us. We can no longer live without prayer. A constant turning towards God! A longing for God that will not be quenched. A prayer of petition for all those who do not know our Savior yet, and who are in desperate need of Him. Our prayer for those souls who are in darkness and seek the light of our God is essential!! 2) Be… my extended hands of love for all those who are in darkness and seek the light of our God. And here is the other way! We must be her extended hands of love! What does that mean? We must carry her heart in ours, and respond to every person we meet with her love and her help!! In the grocery store, at work, at church, in school, wherever we are we must be the loving hands of Our Lady, as best we can. If you are shy, like me, it may mean just smiling at someone with a peaceful demeanor. But we must be her extended hands of love! That is a blessed task indeed! St. Joseph the Worker   May 1, 2024 St. Joseph the Worker Dear Family of Mary! Today, we honor St. Joseph, the Husband of Mary and Foster-Father of Jesus. St. Joseph was totally dependable. That is what God the Father needed. A man who would never wander from the side of Mary and never let Jesus out of his sight for long! (Exception, the Finding in the Temple!) I guess Joseph had his work cut out for him!!! St. Joseph, pray for us!! Now back to the message of April 25: “Dear children! I am with you to tell you that I love you and to encourage you to prayer; because Satan is strong and every day his strength is stronger through those who have chosen death and hatred. You, little children, be prayer and my extended hands of love for all those who are in darkness and seek the light of our God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” ( April 25, 2024 ) “I am with you… to encourage you to prayer;” Our Lady has been encouraging us to prayer ever since she began to appear in Medjugorje. Prayer is the foundation of our life of faith. And so Mother Mary is constantly calling us back to square one…prayer. But in this message there is a special reason that she is encouraging us to prayer: “…because Satan is strong and every day his strength is stronger through those who have chosen death and hatred.” This warning is chilling. We all know that the enemy has been working overtime on a plan for our destruction. But Our Lady tells us that his strategy is working. The strategy is to lure more and more people onto his way of death and hatred. And it seems he has been very successful, because Our Lady tells us that Satan is growing in strength because of those who have chosen death and hatred. He is forming a huge army of souls who are not unwitting in their choice of evil. No they have chosen death and hatred. Though we cannot assume they will be damned, it is clear that they are on the road to damnation. And the possession of these souls fuels the enemy’s program of destruction. Our Lady is warning us of the seriousness of this moment in salvation history. She needs our prayer- strong, determined, holy, selfless, and loving prayer. She needs us to pray with more fervor, determination, and self-denial. She needs us most of all to pray with complete love for God and for the good!! I believe this is just the moment that the Rosary was made for! The Rosary is our weapon against all evil. The Rosary can deliver souls from the clutches of Satan, and change the course of history. Yesterday we celebrated Saint Pope Pius V, who with the Rosary in hand, defeated the Turkish invasion of Europe. The Rosary has conquered before, and it can conquer again. Let’s pray our Rosaries with hearts on fire with love for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit! Let’s pray the Rosary with our hearts united to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with love and trust in the Trinity. This is our hour! More tomorrow!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! I love you…   April 30, 2024 St. Pius V Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady began her message of April 25, 2024 with these words: Dear children! I am with you to tell you that I love you and to encourage you to prayer; Mother constantly wants us to know that she loves us! Each one of us! This is her motivation for coming to us in Medjugorje. It is her motivation for everything towards us! She loves us! I have gathered some of her messages in which she tells us of her love for us. It is healing just to say them to ourselves. I hold all of you on my knees.” Februay 26, 1984 “…do not be afraid because I love you even then when you are far from me and my Son….” May 24, 1984 “I beseech you, dear children, to start loving from today with an ardent love, the love with which I love you.” May 29, 1986 “You know, dear children, that I love you immeasurably and daily I pray the Lord to help you to understand the love which I am showing you.” August 21, 1986 “I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God…” November 27, 1986 “I love you, dear children, and so not even counting the number of times, I go on calling you.” June 25, 1987 “You know that I love you and am coming here out of love so I could show you the path to peace and salvation for your souls.” February 25, 1988 “Dear children, I love you and I desire to bring all of you to the peace which only God gives and which enriches every heart.” July 25, 1990 “I love you and that is why I am with you,” November 25, 1992 “I love you, little children, and I invite all of your to come closer to me by means of prayer.” December 25, 1993 “Little children, I am your mother, I love you and I desire that each of you be saved and thus be with me in Heaven.” August 25, 1998 “Little children, do not forget that I love you with a tender love.” February 25, 2005 “I intercede for you and I love you, little children, with an endless love.” August 25, 2015 “I love you all and give you my Son that He may give you peace.” June 25, 2013 We are the most blessed of children to have such a Mother! I am with you… April 29, 2024 St. Catherine of Siena Dear Family of Mary! Here again is the message from April 25, 2024: Dear children! I need another day to ponder her words, before I can say anything about the message. So take this opportunity to just slowly and gently speak the words of Our Lady, several times today. Pray with me for the good to win!   April 24, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Tomorrow we anticipate a new message from Our Lady! In preparation, let’s prayerfully review the message Our Lady gave us on March 25, 2024: Dear children! In this time of grace, pray with me for the good to win in you and around you. In a special way, little children, pray united with Jesus on His Way of the Cross. Into your prayers put this humanity which wanders without God and without His love. Be prayer, be light, and be witnesses to all those whom you meet, little children, so that the merciful God may have mercy toward you. Thank you for having responded to my call.
