September 22, 2022 Reflection – Show us thy steadfast love, O Lord!

Show us thy steadfast love, O Lord!   September 22, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady gave this message in which she called us to righteousness: June 2, 2010 “Dear Children; Today I call you with prayer and fasting to clear the path in which my Son will enter into your hearts. Accept me as a mother and a messenger of God’s love and His desire for your salvation. Free yourself of everything from the past which burdens you, that gives you a sense of guilt, that which previously led you astray in error and darkness. Accept the light. Be born anew in the righteousness of my Son. Thank you.” Our Lady calls us to repentance and renewal.  She comes as a messenger of God’s love!  Her desire is that we choose her Son and His way.  We are so blessed to have such a mother! Psalm 85 is a beautiful prayer of repentance.  The Psalmist’s words draw me into the security of God’s love and away from the darkness of sin.  May we be led by this prayer into a joyful repentance of heart!! Psalm 85 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. LORD, thou wast favorable to thy land; thou didst restore the fortunes of Jacob. Thou didst forgive the iniquity of thy people; thou didst pardon all their sin. [Selah] Thou didst withdraw all thy wrath; thou didst turn from thy hot anger. Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away thy indignation toward us! Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou prolong thy anger to all generations? Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee? Show us thy steadfast love, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints, to those who turn to him in their hearts. Surely his salvation is at hand for those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other. Faithfulness will spring up from the ground, and righteousness will look down from the sky. Yea, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before him, and make his footsteps a way. Amen, may it be so! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

September 21, 2022 Reflection – God is with you!

God is with you!   September 21, 2022 St. Matthew, Apostle Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady concluded her August 25, 2022 message with these words: You be courageous and do not be afraid, because God is with you. (August 25, 2022) She is commissioning us to do a great work. And she ends that commission with these incredibly comforting and strengthening words! “God is with you!” The reason we can be bold and stand up for God and His Truth is because God is with us. Without God, we would be nothing! But Mother Mary prophesies over us, saying: “God is with you!” Just as the prophets of the Old Testament prophesied to the people of their day!! I have collected some of those Old Testament prophecies below. You can go to the chapters and read the events that brought about these prophecies. Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Nathan, David, Isaiah and Zechariah all spoke these words to the people of God. If the Lord is with us, we must not fear, but trust in Him and do what must be done! Deut.20: 1- “When you go forth to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Joshua 1: 9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” 1Samuel 10: 7- Now when these signs meet you, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you. 1Chronicles 17: 2- And Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.” 1Chronicles 28: 20 -Then David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it. Fear not, be not dismayed; for the LORD God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished. Isaiah 45:14- Thus says the LORD: “The wealth of Egypt and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabe’ans, men of stature, shall come over to you and be yours, they shall follow you; they shall come over in chains and bow down to you. They will make supplication to you, saying: God is with you only, and there is no other, no god besides him.’” Zechariah 8: 23 – Thus says the LORD of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, `Let us go with you, for we have heard that  God is with you.’” Clearly, when God is with us we have nothing to fear.  Our Lady has been sent by God to encourage us to trust in Him now, in these days.  She has come to bring us close to her Son, Jesus, so that we can help Him in the battle for souls over the whole world.  We must not fear, because God is with us!  God is with us!  Be courageous and do not be afraid!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

September 20, 2022 Reflection – You be courageous!

You be courageous!   September 20, 2022 St. Bernard Dear Family of Mary! “You be courageous and do not be afraid, because God is with you!!”  (08/25/22) Our Lady spoke these words to us last month at the end of her message.  They struck me then, and continue to hold my attention.  After all we have been through with Our Lady over the past 41 years, she is still undaunted.  She does not bend in the face of turmoil and distress.  She does not fear.  She is a powerful queen who comes from the throne of the Father, carrying His commands to us.  She is sent to us to lead us through these days of battle into victory.  And she will not be swayed. “You be courageous and do not be afraid, because God is with you!!” (08/25/22) Our Queen tells us to be courageous.  Courage comes from the heart.  It is in our heart, that place where our person, our will, our memory, all our emotions, and our desires can be found, that we find the strength to act. We must take into our heart the situation that we face, consider it and pray to God for help, and then decide on an action.  Once we decide, our heart will fuel that decision with the strength of our being and God’s grace.  Courage is a wonderful thing.  It makes us heroes for the good, if we choose to act on the good. Mother wants us to be those who live from the heart, desiring the good and acting on it with our whole being.  Fear is the opposite of courage, and so she tells us not to fear because fear will stop us from acting, and even more, fear will divide us from God, who is with us to fight by our side.  If God is with us, fear makes no sense at all!! Our Lady gave us another message in which she called us to courage.  This message is amazing! March 25, 2020  “Dear children! I am with you all these years to lead you to the way of salvation. Return to my Son; return to prayer and fasting. Little children, permit God to speak to your heart, because Satan is reigning and wants to destroy your lives and the earth on which you walk. Be courageous and decide for holiness. You will see conversion in your hearts and families; prayer will be heard; God will hear your cries and give you peace. I am with you and am blessing you all with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady tells us to permit God to speak to our hearts.  Why?  Because it is in our hearts that we must make our decisions.  It is in our hearts that we must renounce satan and choose God.  It is in our hearts that we will unmask all the lies of Satan and defeat him.  We only need to let God speak to us, through prayer and fasting, and turn the tied of evil through our courage! May we turn to prayer with the heart.  May we let God enter our hearts and rebuild them with His strength so that we will be sturdy warriors in Our Lady’s army.  Now is the time.  Peace may still be won.  “Be courageous and decide for holiness!” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! September 19, 2022 Reflection – Seek the things that are above!

Seek the things that are above! September 19, 2022 St. Januarius Dear Family of Mary! I want to share with you a passage from Scripture that I was led to yesterday while praying with dear friends.  It is such a hopeful passage from St. Paul’s letter to the Colossians.  It is the kind of passage which we should read every day! “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Col 3:1-4) Though we are living our earthly lives now, we have been “raised with Christ,” which I take to mean that we have been saved by Jesus, and our real lives are with Christ in Heaven.  We are no longer earthbound.  And so we should think heavenly thoughts, and live lives that are hidden with Christ in God!  We are no longer earthly creatures but Heavenly.  Though it is hidden yet for a while! What joy this brings us, what peace, what security!  Our Lady knows this heavenly life and peace intimately.  And she calls us to the same heavenly existence: May 25, 2017 “Dear children! The Most High has permitted me to call you anew to conversion. Little children, open your hearts to the grace to which you are all called. Be witnesses of peace and love in this peaceless world. Your life here on earth is passing. Pray that through prayer you may yearn for Heaven and the things of Heaven and your hearts will see everything differently. You are not alone; I am with you and intercede before my Son Jesus for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” And again she says to us: January 25, 2018  “Dear children! May this time be for you a time of prayer, so that the Holy Spirit, through prayer, may descend upon you and give you conversion. Open your hearts and read the Sacred Scripture, that through the testimonies you also may be closer to God. Above everything, little children, seek God and the things of God and leave earthly ones to the earth, because Satan is attracting you to the dust and sin. You are called to holiness and created for Heaven; therefore, seek Heaven and the things of Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we set our minds on the things that are above, and not the things that are on earth, for we are raised with Christ and our homeland is Heaven.  Mother Mary is with us to bring us home.  May it be so!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

September 16, 2022 Reflection – You build peace in the world!

You build peace in the world!   September 16, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady spoke to us about the future and about peace in her most recent message.  In fact she asked us to help her to build a future full of peace, through our own personal peace which will encourage peace in others.  Here is that message again: “Dear children! God permits me to be with you and to lead you on the way of peace, so that through personal peace, you build peace in the world. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son Jesus, that He may give you a strong faith and hope in a better future, which I desire to build up with you. You be courageous and do not be afraid, because God is with you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (August 25, 2022) Our Lady has used the word “build” only a few times in her messages.  I like the word “build” because it implies a very careful and premeditated plan of action.  Building requires careful thought, plans, tools, measurement and detail.  There are a lot of houses being built in my neighborhood these days, and I am fascinated at the precision and thought that goes into building. So when Our Lady calls us to “build peace in the world,” she is calling us to be careful and thoughtful in our approach to that building process.  I think her 5 stones are wonderful tools that are precisely what we need to build peace.  Our personal holiness is the platform for building peace in our families, neighborhoods, cities and countries.  We can be sure that we will be opposed, but even in that, our holiness can help to build peace, even in our enemies. Well, I am giving you some homework for the weekend.  I have included four messages below, in which Our Lady speaks of building peace.  She wants us to be careful construction crews in our own homes, making it possible for peace to grow.  Take these messages to prayer, over the course of the weekend, and see what the Lord says to you about building peace.  Especially ask Him how you can achieve personal peace!! December 25, 1992 “Dear children! I desire to place all of you under my mantle and protect you from all satanic attacks. Today is a day of peace, but in the whole world there is a great lack of peace. That is why I call you all to build a new world of peace with me through prayer. This I cannot do without you, and this is why I call all of you with my motherly love and God will do the rest. So, open yourselves to God’s plan and to His designs to be able to cooperate with Him for peace and for everything that is good. Do not forget that your life does not belong to you, but is a gift with which you must bring joy to others and lead them to eternal life. May the tenderness of the little Jesus always accompany you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 2, 2010 “Dear children! Today I call you, together with me, to begin to build the Kingdom of Heaven in your hearts; that you may forget what is personal and, led by the example of my Son, think of what is of God. What does He desire of you? Do not permit satan to open the paths of earthly happiness, the paths without my Son. My children, they are false and last a short while. My Son exists. I offer you eternal happiness and peace and unity with my Son, with God; I offer you the Kingdom of God. Thank you.” November 25, 2020 “Dear children! This is a time of love, warmth, prayer and joy. Pray, little children, for little Jesus to be born in your hearts. Open your hearts to Jesus who gives Himself to each of you. God sent me to be joy and hope in this time, and I am saying to you: Without little Jesus you do not have the tenderness or the feeling of Heaven which is hidden in the Newborn. Therefore, little children, work on yourselves. By reading the Sacred Scripture you will discover Jesus’ birth and joy, as in the first days which Medjugorje gave to humanity. History will be truth which, also today, is being repeated in you and around you. Work on and build peace through the Sacrament of Confession. Reconcile with God, little children, and you will see miracles around you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 25, 2022 “Dear children! I am looking at you and thanking God for each of you, because He permits me to still be with you, to encourage you to holiness. Little children, peace is disturbed and Satan wants peacelessness. That is why, may your prayer be even stronger so that every unclean spirit of division and war may be stilled. Be builders of peace and carriers of the joy of the Risen One in you and around you, for the good to win in every man. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! September 14, 2022 Reflection – The Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The Exaltation of the Holy Cross   September 14, 2022 The Exaltation of the Holy Cross Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady encouraged us to venerate her Son on the Cross from the early days of her presence in Medjugorje.  Along with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursdays, she began the practice of venerating the Holy Cross every Friday evening after the Mass in Medjugorje.  Here is a message in which she encouraged this veneration; Saturday, May 28, 1983 (To Jelena): “It is very beautiful to remain Thursdays, for the Adoration of my Son in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. It is likewise beautiful to venerate the Cross each Friday. I wish that every Saturday, which is the day that the Church had dedicated to me, you will consecrate to me at least a quarter of an hour. Meditate during this time, on my life, my messages, and pray.” Our Lady has built this Veneration of the Holy Cross into the weekly schedule of St. James Parish.  And it has become a beautiful time of prayer for all of us.  Jesus speaks eloquently from the Cross.  It is His pulpit!  From the Cross all graces flow! In the following message Our Lady gives us beautiful direction for our spiritual life, which culminates in the Cross: February 2, 2020  “Dear children, by the act of the decision and love of God, I am chosen to be the Mother of God and your mother. But also by my will and my immeasurable love for the Heavenly Father and my complete trust in Him, my body was the chalice of the God-man. I was in the service of truth, love and salvation, as I am now among you to call you, my children, apostles of my love, to be carriers of truth; to call you to spread His words, the words of salvation, by your will and love for my Son: that with your actions you may show, to all those who have not come to know my Son, His love. You will find strength in the Eucharist – my Son who feeds you with His Body and strengthens you with His Blood. My children, fold your hands [in prayer] and look at the Cross in silence. In this way, you are drawing faith to be able to transmit it; you are drawing truth to be able to discern; you are drawing love that you may know to love truly. My children, apostles of my love, fold your hands [in prayer], look at the Cross. Only in the Cross is salvation. Thank you.” Thank you, Dearest Mother, for teaching us to venerate your Son’s Cross.  It is through that Cross, that Jesus saved us all.  We humbly thank Him, and praise Him for His love.  And we thank you, Mother, for drawing us ever closer to Jesus. Amen In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

September 13, 2022 Reflection – Rejoice in the life which God gives you…

Rejoice in the life which God gives you…   September 13, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! The other day, I was about to do a normal chore, something I do every day.  I felt in my spirit a disgust for this task, and I felt so grumpy.  But at that moment, I felt Our Lady gently interrupting my inner gloom with her presence.  She gently reminded me that I didn’t have to feel the way I felt.  I was free to rejoice instead of feeling so down.  There was nothing standing in my way.  I could indeed be joyful and grateful at that moment. I decided to give it a try!  And the gloom lifted, little by little.  An inner glimmer of light began to grow.  Mother Mary was right.  I didn’t have to feel that way.  There was so much to be happy about, to be joyful about.  Perhaps I had developed a habit of gloom!  Or perhaps I had been lied to by the enemy.  But the truth was that I could be happy. Our Lady gave us a message that reflects the truth she was speaking to me that day.  She actually pointed it out to me as I began to write this reflection.  I had no idea what to write about, and she pointed out this message.  Then I remembered my experience of choosing joy!  It all fit together! This is message she pointed out to me: August 25, 1988  “Dear children! Today I invite you all to rejoice in the life which God gives you. Little children, rejoice in God, the Creator, because He has created you so wonderfully. Pray that your life be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of your heart like a river of joy. Little children, give thanks unceasingly for all that you possess, for each little gift which God has given you, so that a joyful blessing always comes down from God upon your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we be blessed with the joy that comes from God, the joy that can fill our souls with light and hope, thanksgiving and love.  For this is our truth.  God loves us, and He has made us to be His own.  We are the most blessed children ever! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

September 9, 2022 Reflection – Litany of Thanks to Mother Mary!

Litany of Thanks to Our Lady September 8, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady love us!  This is her main message from Medjugorje.  She loves us.  And she never stops telling us that she loves us!  We are spoiled by her love!!! I went through her messages and collected some of the ways in which she has told us of her love!  I though these quotes would make a nice litany prayer.  We can pray back her words to us, and thank her for each of them.  She is the very best of mothers!!! Litany of Thanks to Our Mother, Mary, who loves us: Response:  Thank you for loving me so much, dearest Mother! Our Lady says to us: “Pray and fast! Know that I love you. I hold all of you on my knees.” (2/26/1984) “In any moment that is difficult for you, do not be afraid because I love you even then when you are far from me and my Son.” (5/24/84) “I beseech you, dear children, to start loving from today with an ardent love, the love with which I love you.” (5/29/86) “You know, dear children, that I love you immeasurably and daily I pray the Lord to help you to understand the love which I am showing you.” (8/21/86) “You know that I love you and that out of love I long for you.” (11/20/86) “I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God.” (11/27/86) “I love you, dear children, and so not even counting the number of times, I go on calling you…”(6/25/87) “I love you and, therefore, I want you to be holy.” (7/25/87) “You know that I love you and am coming here out of love so I could show you the path to peace and salvation for your souls.” (2/25/88) “I am blessing you and I love you with a special love.” (6/25/89) “Dear children, I love you and I desire to bring all of you to the peace which only God gives and which enriches every heart.” (7/25/90) “I am with you and I love you with the immeasurable love of Jesus.” (11/25/91) “I love you with my maternal love and I invite you to open yourselves completely to me so that, through each one of you, I can convert and save this world which is full of sin and bad things.” (8/25/92) “I love you and that is why I am with you, in order to teach you and to lead you to a new life of conversion and renunciation.” (11/25/92) “I love you, little children, and I invite all of your to come closer to me by means of prayer.” (12/25/93) “I love you and I desire to conduct you all with me to Paradise.” (4/25/94) “Little children, I am with you, and I love you and I bless you and I wish for every one of you to be in my embrace.” (8/25/95) “Little children, you are dear to me. I love you all and I call you to be closer to me and that your love towards my Immaculate Heart be more fervent.”(10,25,96) “I love you and I am praying for your conversion without ceasing before my Son Jesus.” (10/25/2011) “Dear children! September 8, 2022 Reflection – The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary!   September 8, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Today Holy Mother Church holds a feast! It is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary! It is her birthday party! Situated nine months after the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, this feast celebrates Mary’s birth!! What joy! How much the Father in Heaven must have celebrated on that day! This little one would become the mother of His Son, Jesus! Franjo told me that Our Lady told the visionaries in the very early days that it is important to celebrate each person’s birthday.  The custom for the Croatians was to make a big deal of their “Name Day” and not so much of a deal about their actual birthday.  The “Name Day” is the feast day of the saint that the person was named after!  So if you were named after St. Patrick, your party would be on St. Patrick’s day. But Our Lady made it clear that the actual birthday of each one of us is to be celebrated in a special way because each one of us is unique and very special to God.  That is why she told them that her real birthday is on August 5!  And we celebrate it now in a special way! Even so, this day is very special, because the Church has made it a Feast!  So let’s celebrate Our Lady’s Birthday today!  Actually we should celebrate her birthday every day of the year, because she is the Mother of Jesus. What would we have done without her??? Let’s pray this beautiful Litany of Loreto today on this special day.  Our Lady is so wonderful, so gracious and kind!  We love her so much!!!! Litany of Loreto Lord, have mercy on us. Christ have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ hear us. Christ, graciously hear us. God the Father of Heaven, Have mercy on us. God the Son, Redeemer of the world, Have mercy on us. God the Holy Spirit Have mercy on us. Holy Trinity, One God, Have mercy on us. Holy Mary, pray for us. Holy Mother of God, pray for us. Holy Virgin of virgins, pray for us. Mother of Christ, pray for us. Mother of divine grace, pray for us. Mother most pure, pray for us. Mother most chaste, pray for us. Mother inviolate, pray for us.
