June 8, 2022 Reflection -What is the biggest problem in your life?

What is the biggest problem in your life?   June 8, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! November 25, 2010 “Dear children! I look at you and I see in your heart death without hope, restlessness and hunger. There is no prayer or trust in God, that is why the Most High permits me to bring you hope and joy. Open yourselves. Open your hearts to God’s mercy and He will give you everything you need and will fill your hearts with peace, because He is peace and your hope. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Fr. Oisin Eoghan Martin, part of the American Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, gave a homily on June 4, 2022 at English Mass in Medjugorje which is directly connected with the message above! It is a fantastic homily!!! I want to share it with you all but it is too long to transcribe all at once. So here is the beginning of it, and I am including the link to the video on Mary TV’s website with the entire homily! Homily for English Mass in Medjugorje on June 4, 2022 by Fr. Oisin Martin: I want to begin with a question. And the question is “What is the biggest problem in your life?” What is the biggest problem in your life? What is the biggest problem in your country? what is the biggest problem in the world? What has been the biggest problem in the history of the planet? It’s not the war in the Ukraine, or Covid, or sin, though sin flows from it. This problem affects every area of your life. It affects your mental health. It affects your physical health. It affects your mood, your relationships, your prayer life, your struggles. It affects the ability of God’s work in our lives. And the entire world is shaped by it. All the problems we have in the world happen because of it…And because of it, one angel in Heaven, called Lucifer, decided to do his own thing. And because of it, one couple called Adam and Eve started sin. This has been affecting us ever since. And it is the same problem for each one of us here. It is the same problem. This is the biggest problem in our lives. Not the thing you were thinking about two minutes ago. It is that we don’t trust. We don’t believe with all of our hearts that our Father truly loves us. We don’t trust that He always wants our happiness and He has our happiness at stake. We don’t believe that He is in complete control of every single aspect of our lives with no exceptions. We don’t believe with all our hearts in His Church, His Commandments, even the messages that Our Mother Mary is giving to us in Medjugorje. In Ephesians 3:20 God speaks to us through St. Paul: “God desires to accomplish all things in us in a measure far beyond what we can ask or conceive.” God desires to accomplish amazing and awesome things in each one of our lives. Regardless of who we are or our circumstances. And the only thing we should really be worried about is “God what do you want me to do?” In all honesty, for me, for Fr. Leon, for all of us, our daily question should be: “God what do you want me to do?” We worry, we fear, we get anxious, we get angry, we take control, we judge we condemn, because we don’t completely and fully trust our Heavenly Father… https://marytv.tv/english-homily-in-medjugorje-2/?smid=ikKNuxsfJ8u&slid=IRBKmbjFsDA God bless you all!! We are living in important and blessed times. Stay close to Mother Mary!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2021

June 6, 2022 Reflection -The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church

The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church June 6, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus gave us His Mother as He died on the cross. This final act shows us His total love for us. He brought us into His family by giving us His Mother as our Mother. We can only be in awe at such a gift!! Here is that moment, that gift, from the Gospel of John: But standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Mag’dalene. When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. (John19: 25-27) On this feast day we celebrate the gift of Mary as our Mother, as the Mother of the whole church. She spoke to us about her role as Mother of the Church in this message. Let’s take in her words today, and let them mold us and bless us!: June 2, 2016 “Dear children, as the Mother of the Church, as your mother, I am smiling as I look at you: how you are coming to me, how you are gathering around me, how you are seeking me. My comings among you are proof of how much Heaven loves you. They indicate to you the way to eternal life, to salvation. My apostles, you who strive to have a pure heart and to have my Son in it, you are on the good way. You who are seeking my Son are seeking the good way. He left many signs of His love. He left hope. It is easy to find Him if you are ready for sacrifice and penance – if you have patience, mercy and love for your neighbors. Many of my children do not see and do not hear because they do not want to. They do not accept my words and my works, yet through me, my Son calls everyone. His Spirit illuminates all of my children in the light of the Heavenly Father, in the unity of Heaven and Earth, in mutual love – because love invokes love and makes works more important than words. Therefore, my apostles, pray for your Church, love it and do works of love. No matter how betrayed or wounded, it is here because it comes from the Heavenly Father. Pray for your shepherds so that in them you may see the greatness of the love of my Son. Thank you.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2021

May 25, 2022 – Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje

“Dear children! I am looking at you and thanking God for each of you, because He permits me to still be with you, to encourage you to holiness. Little children, peace is disturbed and Satan wants peacelessness. That is why, may your prayer be even stronger so that every unclean spirit of division and war may be stilled. Be builders of peace and carriers of joy of the Risen One in you and around you, for the good to win in every man. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (May 25, 2022)

May 24, 2022 Reflection – Thank you, Dearest Mother, for the Monthly Messages!

Thank you, Dearest Mother, for the Monthly Messages!. May 24, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Tomorrow we look forward to receiving the Monthly Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje! These Monthly Messages have been a staple for us since 1987! How blessed we are to be cared for in such a consistent manner for all these years. Below is a list of the last five messages we have received on the 25th of each month. We might pray a Rosary, reading one message for each decade. That way we can remember Our Lady’s guiding words and prepare for the next message on Wednesday! Mother, we thank you for being with us in Medjugorje in such a beautiful way. Your presence and your words are have helped us to open up to Jesus’ love and the Father’s grace. We are grateful! You bring to us the Holy Spirit, your Spouse, who anoints us and heals us. Thank you so much, dearest Mother! A message for each decade!! December 25, 2021 “Dear children! Today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to give you His peace. Little children, without peace you do not have a future or blessing; therefore return to prayer, because the fruit of prayer is joy and faith, without which you cannot live. Today’s blessing which we give you, carry to your families and enrich all those whom you meet, that they may feel the grace which you are receiving. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 2022 “Dear children! Today I am calling you to return to personal prayer. Little children, do not forget that Satan is strong and that he wants to attract all the more souls to himself. That is why, you be vigilant in prayer and resolute in the good. I am with you and am blessing all of you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” February 25, 2022 “Dear children! I am with you and we pray together. Help me with prayer, little children, that Satan may not prevail. His power of death, hatred, and fear has visited the earth. Therefore, little children, return to God and to prayer, to fasting and to renunciation, for all those who are downtrodden, poor, and have no voice in this world without God. Little children, if you do not return to God and His Commandments, you do not have a future. That is why He sent me to you to guide you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 25, 2022 “Dear children! I am listening to your cry and prayers for peace. For years, Satan has been fighting for war. That is why God sent me among you to guide you on the way of holiness, because humanity is at a crossroad. I am calling you to return to God and to God’s Commandments that it may be good for you on earth, and that you may come out of this crisis into which you have entered because you are not listening to God who loves you and desires to save you and lead you to a new life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 25, 2022 “Dear children! I am looking at you and I see that you are lost. That is why I am calling all of you: return to God, return to prayer – and the Holy Spirit will fill you with His love which gives joy to the heart. Hope will grow in you, also for a better future, and you will become joyful witnesses of God’s mercy in you and around you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We await your words to us with peace and joy! Thank you, Mother Mary! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! May 23, 2022 Reflection – Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid…

Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid…     May 23, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! The Gospel for Holy Mass on Sunday, May 22, 2022 was from John 14:23-29. I want to quote one verse: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid…” (Jn 14:27) Jesus was very careful to explain to the Apostles that His peace is not the kind of peace that the world offers. They should not look for worldly peace. Only Jesus can give us peace. But don’t we still fall into the trap of looking for worldly answers to our anxieties? Hoping for peace from that source? Here is a beautiful, inspired, and absolutely true description of where to find true peace, written by Caryll Houselander many years ago. Everything Caryll said so many years ago applies to us today! Please read this short excerpt slowly and prayerfully. She is speaking to us right now. Our Mother is speaking to us through her. This is how we will bring in the Triumph! “Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid” Too many anxious Christians today think that their efforts to preach and teach and enter into outward activities can do more to save the world than the surrender of their souls to God, to become Christ-bearers. They believe that they can do more than our Lady did, and they have not time to stop to consider the absurdity of this. They fear that if the world goes on hurling itself into disaster, as it seems to be doing now, Christ’s kingdom may be defeated. This is not so; Christ has given his word that he will be with and in his little flock until the end of the world. However dark our days seem to be for Christianity, they are not so dark as the night following the crucifixion must have seemed to the apostles. For that night Christ had already prepared them. He told them to wait: to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit. He told them that he was going away, that they would no longer see him and know the consolation of his presence with them, but that it was better for them that he should go, and that the condition for the coming of the Holy Spirit, through whom he would live on in them, was his going (Jn 16:7-8). Christ himself prepared for his Resurrection by resting in the tomb, just as he had prepared for his birth by resting in his Mother’s womb. He did not call the legions of angels he could have called to fight back the forces of evil that had crucified him; he simply lay in the tomb at rest and, at the appointed moment in time, rose from death to renew the life of the whole world. The apostles, like the modern apostles, were afraid, and with good cause…. They, with the Mother of Christ, alone stood for Christ’s kingdom, and the murderous hatred of Christ’s enemies pointed straight at them. But Christ told them simply to wait in the city until the Holy Spirit came to them; not to run away, not to make plans of their own, not to be troubled, with either their own recent failure and sin or concerning the danger that fenced them all around, but only to wait, with his Mother among them, for the coming of the Comforter who would make them strong, heal their wounds, wash the stains from their souls, and be their joy. Christ does not change, the preparation for the coming of the Spirit is the same today as two thousand years ago, whether it be for the rebirth of Christ in one soul that is in the hard winter, or for the return of Christ from the grave, whose blood is shed again by the martyrs. The preparation is the same: the still, quiet mind, acceptance, and remaining close to the Mother of God, resting in her rest while the life of the world grew within her towards the flowering of everlasting joy. Caryll Houselander († 1954) was a British artist, poet, and spiritual author. / From The Risen Christ. Sheed & Ward Publishers, 1958. Our job is to remain close to the Mother of God, resting in her rest while the life of the world grows within her – Jesus, Our Life! This is how we will be safe and save others! Our Lady only wants one thing, to be with us and help us to wait for her Son. She said, early on in the apparitions: Saturday, February 25, 1984 “Know that I love all of you. Know that you are all mine. To no one do I desire to give more than to you. Come to me all of you. Stay with me. I want to be your Mother. Come, I desire all of you.” If we stay close to Mary, she will teach us to wait for her Son, to pray as she prays, and to believe as she believes. In this will be our hope and our victory. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV Let’s pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Mary!

May 20, 2022 Reflection – Love one another!

Love one another! May 20, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! We have been pondering the Gospel Readings for the 5th week of Easter in a special way, allowing Jesus’ words to sink into our hearts, and then listening to Our Lady’s words which help us to respond to Jesus! It has been very good for me, and I hope for you!! Today Jesus teaches us His Commandment. It is so simple sounding, but actually it is so difficult to do. But we can’t let the difficulty stop us! We are called to love one another! And so when we fail, we must simply run to Jesus for forgiveness and the run to our brother or sister and ask for their forgiveness, and then start anew! Jesus has given us the way, through humility and contrition. Knowing this let us listen to Our Savior’s Commandment! John 15:12-17 Jesus said to his disciples: “This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father. It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. This I command you: love one another.” (John 15: 12-17) Jesus tells us that He has chosen us. And Our Lady has called us! We are so blessed to be chosen and called by Jesus and Mary! Our Lady teaches us about our calling: September 2, 2015 “Dear children, My dear apostles of love, my carriers of truth, again I am calling you and gathering you around me to help me, to help all of my children who thirst for love and truth – who thirst for my Son. I am a grace from the Heavenly Father, sent to help you to live the word of my Son. Love one another. I lived your earthly life. I know that it is not always easy, but if you will love each other, you will pray with the heart, you will reach spiritual heights and the way to heaven will be opened for you. I, your mother, am waiting for you there because I am there. Be faithful to my Son and teach others faithfulness. I am with you. I will help you. I will teach you faith that you may know how to transmit it to others in the right way. I will teach you truth that you may know how to discern. I will teach you love that you may come to know what real love is… My children, my Son will make it so as to speak through your words and your actions. Thank you.” Our Lady is with us, so we have only joy ahead…She will lead us on the way!! I am a grace from the Heavenly Father, sent to help you to live the word of my Son. Love one another. Yes Mother, we will follow you, and live the word of your Son, “Love one another!’ In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV Let’s pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Mary!

May 19, 2022 Reflection – Remain in my love…

Remain in my love… May 19, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Here is the Gospel for today: Jesus said to his disciples: As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in His Love. I have told you this so that my joy might be in you and your joy might be complete.” (John 15: 9-11) This message from Our Lady seems to have been given to us just to explain this Gospel passage! Our Lady knows love!!! November 2, 2015 “Dear children, anew I desire to speak to you about love. I have gathered you around me in the name of my Son according to His will. I desire that your faith be firm, flowing forth from love. Because, those of my children who understand the love of my Son|and follow it, live in love and hope. They have come to know the love of God Therefore, my children, pray, pray so as to be able to love all the more and to do works of love. Because, faith alone without love and works of love is not what I am asking of you: my children, this is an illusion of faith. It is a boasting of self. My Son seeks faith and works, love and goodness. I am praying, and I am also asking you to pray, and to live love; because I desire that my Son, when He looks at the hearts of all of my children, can see love and goodness in them and not hatred and indifference. My children, apostles of my love, do not lose hope, do not lose strength. You can do this. I am encouraging and blessing you. Because all that is of this world, which many of my children, unfortunately, put in the first place, will disappear; and only love and works of love will remain and open the door of the Kingdom of Heaven. I will wait for you at this door. At this door, I desire to welcome and embrace all of my children. Thank you!” Wow!!! “As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV Let’s pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Mary!

May 18, 2022 Reflection – Remain in me, as I remain in you…

Remain in me, as I remain in you… May 17, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus told us to remain in Him. As a branch remains on a vine, we must remain connected to Jesus. It is necessary that we have a vital and life giving relationship with Jesus. In these days after the Resurrection and before the Ascension, Jesus is teaching us how to live in Him, to stay with Him, to love Him, to know Him, to be one with Him. Here is the Gospel for today: Jesus said to his disciples: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me.I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.” (John 15:1-8) Our Lady teaches us how to remain in Jesus in this message: “Dear children! Today, little children, I invite you, through prayer, to be with Jesus, so that through a personal experience of prayer you may be able to discover the beauty of God’s creatures. You cannot speak or witness about prayer, if you do not pray. That is why, little children, in the silence of the heart, remain with Jesus, so that He may change and transform you with His love. This, little children, is a time of grace for you. Make good use of it for your personal conversion, because when you have God, you have everything. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 1998) Thank you, dearest Mother, for teaching us to remain in Jesus!! Help us to grow in our attachment to the vine of life. Prune us so that we will grow well. Attach us to Jesus, through your Motherly teaching and guidance, so that we will not be thrown on the fire and burned. Help us to have silent hearts that have room only for Jesus. Teach us to pray, dearest Mother. Amen In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV Let’s pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Mary!

May 17, 2022 Reflection – Every grace comes through prayer…

Every grace comes through prayer… May 17, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Prayer is the first stone in Our Lady’s program for us. And I would say it is the last stone as well. She cannot imagine our lives without prayer. It is impossible to live without prayer. She told us: “Dear children, you must understand that one has to pray. Prayer is no joke; prayer is a conversation with God. In every prayer you must listen to the voice of God. Without prayer one cannot live. Prayer is life.” (09/11/1984 – Jelena) Again she said: “My children, pray! I say again, pray, because prayer is indispensable to life.”(01/01/1984) Prayer is indispensable to life! Our Lady knows what prayer actually is. She lived by prayer every moment on earth. And now she is with us in our daily lives trying to guide us into that same living prayer! She told us: “Dear children! Today I invite you to respond to my call to prayer. I desire, dear children, that during this time you find a corner for personal prayer. I desire to lead you towards prayer with the heart. Only in this way will you comprehend that your life is empty without prayer. You will discover the meaning of your life when you discover God in prayer. That is why, little children, open the door of your heart and you will comprehend that prayer is joy without which you cannot live. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 1997) Our Lady tells us that our lives are empty without prayer. I am sure we all know it! But still it is easy to let prayer slip. Denis discovered something that St. Faustina wrote about prayer that has really impressed us both. Here is what she wrote about prayer: “A soul arms itself by prayer for all sorts of combat. In whatever state the soul may be, it ought to pray. A soul which is pure and beautiful must pray, or else it will lose its beauty; a soul which is striving after this purity must pray, or else it will never attain it; a soul which is newly converted must pray, or else it will fall again; a sinful soul, plunged in sins, must pray so that it might rise again. There is no soul which is not bound to pray, for every single grace comes to the soul through prayer.” (Diary entry 146) Truly there is not one moment of our lives that does not require prayer. Not one situation, not one state of soul, not one joy or sorrow that does not need prayer. Only prayer can see us through to Heaven. As St. Faustina wrote: “Every single grace comes to the soul through prayer!” Thank you, Dearest Mother, for teaching us to pray!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV Let’s pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Mary!
