The 21.Mladifest Medjugorje starts August 1, 2016!  Don’t miss it!

July 29, 2016
Dear Apostles for Our Lady,

Shipmates sailing with her upon the digital sea….

On Monday, August 1, 2016 the 27 Mladifest Medjugorje begins!!

From August 1 to 6, 2016, youth from all over the world will gather in Medjugorje for six days of prayer, witnessing and worship!! Mary TV will live stream as much of the youth festival as we possibly can. Here is a link to the daily schedule:

During this time, we will have to change our streaming schedule to accommodate the festival:
There will be no “Hour of Mercy” from August 1 through 5
Our Daily Rosary will air at 3:00 pm Medjugorje time (9:00 am EDT) from August 2 through 5
We will also stream Mirjana’s Apparition on August 2.  Check the web page for details and further additions to our broadcast schedule.

Join us for this joyous and very important festival. And pray for our team, as they will be working in the heat all day long to live-stream this time of prayer and witnessing of faith in the young people.

New features on the Mary TV App!!
An exciting new feature was just added to Mary TV’s APP (photo above)! By clicking on the “share” icon in the right hand top corner of our “On Demand Videos”, you can immediately share that specific video by email, Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp. There’s also an “Audio Only” function on the Mary TV App so you can be connected to Medjugorje while you’re jogging or driving in your car…. The APP is free…tell friends – and tell them how important it is to stay connected to Our Lady’s presence in Medjugorje. She just told us Jesus is sending her among us so that she may grant us safety!
Thank you for helping Mary TV update equipment!!
Thanks to your continued support (spiritual and financial) Mary TV’s shipment of new and refurbished technical equipment will be arriving in Medjugorje tomorrow – just in time for the Youth Festival (see the top of Mary TV’s web page MaryTV.tv for our Live streaming schedule next week).
Our team is really grateful…they won’t have to be nursing equipment along during the Youth Festival and the rest of this summer. Remember, most of our filming is outside, in all kinds of weather, every day, 365 days a year! (And a big “Thank You” to Michele, our shipmate in Delaware, for bringing our extra suitcase with her to Medjugorje.)
The Queen of Peace is herself Heaven’s peace plan!
The Queen of Peace is herself Heaven’s peace plan for today’s poor tired world, growing more and more in need of peace with each passing day: “Dear children! My real, living presence among you should make you happy because this is the great love of my Son. He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety!” (July 2, 2016).
Through Mary TV’s channel you can be praying with Our Lady (and her children gathered around her in Medjugorje) 24 hours a day, seven days a week! And that’s important: My Son promised me that evil will never win, because you, the souls of the just, are here!” (November 2, 2014)
A little pat on the back for the Mary TV Team:
We’re being good stewards with your donations…. A friend who works for IBM and who is familiar with the technology Mary TV is using, just wrote to me:
“Technically Mary TV is definitely in a very good place. It’s really incredible. IBM is using multi-million dollar equipment to stream events, and Mary TV is doing the same thing for pennies, just a fraction of their budget. IBM is trying to create a streaming channel like Mary TV has, but hasn’t succeeded yet.”

Broadcast TV is still our hope!
IMPORTANT: Everything MaryTV is doing through the Internet today can easily be transitioned into full broadcast quality television… Note the photo (above) of our main TV studio, which, I’m sorry to say, has been sitting unfinished for more than 10 years! With several $50,000 donations we could easily transition into broadcast television…With the way the world is hurtling, it seems to be time! Pray for peace. Pray with the heart, little children, and do not lose hope because God loves His creatures. He desires to save you, one by one, through my coming here,”(March 25, 2003).
Feel free to purchase a lottery ticket (I won’t, but you can)! Or go out and find someone who has money they could donate…. Consider including Mary TV in your will!

PS. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the way to go to Medjugorje is with a group. Our Lady delights in pouring out her graces upon her children through her children! That’s the way she loves to do it!
Cathy and I experienced the most incredible graces through Michael’s group that we just went to Medjugorje with last month. And the way we are sticking together – staying in touch - those graces are continuing!!!!
Michael will be taking two more groups:
August 10-23 to Medjugorje, Assisi and Rome (or Aug 11-19 Medj only)
October 3 – October 14 Medjugorje
I’m told some airline tickets right now are incredibly low! NOW IS THE TIME TO GO! Call Michael and don’t put off getting those tickets – prices can change every day! (October is the most beautiful month – and a lot of a pilgrim’s time is spent outside) ….
Call Michael today before his pilgrimages fill up:

PPS. Cathy recently received this lovely email:
I hope there are a lot more people who have decided to become monthly donors since the 35th anniversary…  I have been interested in Medjugorje and your ministry for years! While I was watching the events (of the anniversary), I realized how important your ministry is and that I want everyone to know about it.  I wanted to put up a billboard in our area, but I had difficulty…  I was a little discouraged for a while.  Then I realized I could be a monthly donor and that would be even better for you.  I had wanted to do this for a while, but just had not made that commitment yet.  I’m so glad I did.  I want to see that monthly donor thermometer grow because you really, really need everything you get to provide the world with Mary’s Messages…  Bless you for your work.  Angie
Thank you, Angie, and thanks to all of you who have become monthly donors. We feel your support each month!! God bless you all!!

The Mary TV coffee/tea house full of happy pilgrims!

July 14, 2016
Dear Apostles for Our Lady,
Mary TV’s coffee/tea house is buzzing with happy pilgrims! Tell everyone you know going to Medjugorje to stop on in… Rosie has a pot of tea waiting!!!!
We’re grateful to Mary TV’s intercessors and donors – the most important part of our team – for making it possible for us to be in Medjugorje for the 35th Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions! It was a time of amazing grace for us all…. (and you were there with us…. every day Cathy and I lit a candle for our Mary TV shipmates – remembering you in all our prayers – as you were so obviously remembering us in yours)!

A candle a day for your intentions!

“Give thanks to God with me for the gift of my being with you… Persevere in prayer so that, with you, I can realize my plans,” Our Lady told us in her Anniversary message of June 25th. And on July 2nd: “Dear children! My real, living presence among you should make you happy because this is the great love of my Son. He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety!”
Is there anyone in the world today not concerned for their safety? This message needs to get spread! And with the Parish’s Information Center no longer giving out Our Lady’s messages Mary TV’s mission is even more important!
Divine appointments and new initiatives:
Thanks to your prayers our precious days in Medjugorje were filled with what can only be called divine appointments! Everywhere we went – every day – it seemed we were running into the right person we needed to see just at the right moment! And this continued until just before we left. In fact, as we were about to step into our cab taking us to the airport just after English Mass, I looked up at the last two people I was saying good-bye to – and out of the blue it dawned upon me they were the two people who needed to be in contact with one another in order for Mary TV to set up a third POV camera at a strategic place of prayer in Medjugorje, where Our Lady’s children from around the world would be able to pray 24/7 – at any time of day or night! I hadn’t even had setting up that POV camera on my “to do” list! But at the very last moment before leaving, just before stepping into the cab, it was arranged!

During our time in Medjugorje Mary TV added another program. Often Fr. Leon will give a little timely catechesis just before the beginning of Mass. Mary TV is now recording and starting to air these little pearls of great price, “Sanctuary Snippets”.   You won’t want to miss these either!

English Mass

Cathy and shipmate Sabina react to Fr. Leon’s Snippet!

After Josip and Christina’s wedding, two buses were waiting to take us to the reception. Sabrina, who had sent her purse ahead of her with a friend, to save her a seat, found the bus had left without her. The directions to the reception were in her purse. But just then someone came around the corner of the church who recognized her: “You are Fruit show #123…. I’m Fruit show #215! Traci gave her money to take a cab and directions to the reception…
Our technical team from the US was able to witness our team in Medjugorje in action. Tom and Matt noticed the Zubac’s boys were nursing equipment along – somehow keeping old equipment going while doing their jobs. They would never have told us new equipment was needed (constant use in all kinds of weather, the equipment takes a beating) so we have purchased new equipment.
We have purchased new and refurbished equipment and need to get it over to Medjugorje. If you know anyone going, please ask them if they’d be willing to take an extra suitcase for Mary TV (Mary TV will pay the $100 charge). We hope to get this equipment to Medjugorje before the Youth Festival, which begins on August 1st.

October 13, 2015

Dear Mary TV family:

Those who miss Mary TV’s streaming of the English Mass from St. James Church should know that this was due not to any restriction imposed by the parish itself but by a higher authority. If you are saddened by this development, please feel free to write to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) and ask Cardinal Gerhard Muller to allow this streaming to continue (See below). What we are doing is strictly broadcasting the Holy Mass, i.e. disseminating the fundamental act of worship of the Church.

The second Vatican Council states in “Sacrosanctum Concilium”:

26. Liturgical services are not private functions, but are celebrations of the Church, which is the “sacrament of unity,” namely, the holy people united and ordered under their bishops [33]
Therefore liturgical services pertain to the whole body of the Church; they manifest it and have effects upon it; but they concern the individual members of the Church in different ways, according to their differing rank, office, and actual participation.

27. It is to be stressed that whenever rites, according to their specific nature, make provision for communal celebration involving the presence and active participation of the faithful, this way of celebrating them is to be preferred, so far as possible, to a celebration that is individual and quasi-private.

We hope and pray that the relevant ecclesiastical authorities recognize that such dissemination of the Mass is fundamental to the New Evangelization. Any obstacle to this dissemination is detrimental to the principles of Evangelization as well as the promotion of right doctrine and worship! The Church wants as many people as possible to participate in the Mass as a whole particularly by using today’s mass communications media. Imagine a situation where TV viewers are denied the opportunity to watch a papal Mass (which is the case only in countries like North Korea)! So it’s simply inexplicable that there’s a prohibition on the broadcast of a Mass being celebrated in a Catholic church in good standing and one which (as even the Zadar declaration of the Yugoslavian bishops’ conference acknowledges) attracts “numerous gatherings of the faithful from different parts of the world.” Surely the Eucharistic celebration in Medjugorje does not have any characteristics that make it off-limits to the rest of the world!

Request the CDF to clarify. Write:
