In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting. I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Let us pray: Totus Tuus (Totally Yours) (Mother Immaculata wrote this beautiful prayer of consecration to Our Lady in 1956! This is how we can respond to Our Lady’s call!!) Immaculate Conception Novena, Day 9   December 7, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Day 9 of our Novena in honor of the Immaculate Conception! Our Lady gave Jelena Vasilj this beautiful prayer of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary! It think it is fitting for this last day of our Novena. Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Given by Our Lady to Jelena Vasilj, 11/28/1983) O Immaculate Heart of Mary, overflowing with goodness, show us your love for us. May the flame of your heart, Oh Mary, descend upon all peoples. We love you immensely. Impress in our hearts a true love. May our hearts yearn for you. Oh Mary, sweet and humble of heart, remember us when we sin. You know that all mankind are sinners. Through your most sacred and maternal heart, cure us from every spiritual illness. Make us capable of looking at the beauty of your maternal heart, and that, thus, we may be converted to the flame of your heart. Amen Our best response to this wonderful reality, the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is to give ourselves entirely to Our Lady. She has come to us for 41 years, with her constant love and wisdom. She has been and will always be a sure guide to Jesus. May we give ourselves to her on December 8, with joyful abandon. Here is our last prayer of the Novena: Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 9 O Mother of the King of the Universe, most perfect member of the human race, we turn to you as mother, advocate, and mediator. O Holy Mary, assist us in our present necessity. By your Immaculate Conception, O Mary conceived without sin, we humbly beseech you from the bottom of our hearts to intercede for us with your Divine Son and ask that we be granted the favor for which we now plead…[Mention your intention now] O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 8   December 6, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Day 8 of our Novena in honor of the Immaculate Conception! Today in our prayer, we ask Our Lady to intercede for us with Jesus, her Beloved Son. We ask that she present our petition before Him! I understand how many petitions we all have. And each one is very important. And so we can all pray for each other to receive answers to our petitions. But there is so much more going on here. Our Lady wants to bring us into the fullness of peace and hope. She wants us to draw close to the Most High, through whom we will receive peace and salvation. Let’s not shoot too low in this novena. We want the grace of salvation for our families, our friends, our parishes, and indeed for all men! Our Lady has come to us to lead us to eternal life, which is our hope! Our Lady told us: February 25, 2021  “Dear children! God has permitted me to be with you also today, to call you to prayer and fasting. Live this time of grace and be witnesses of hope, because I repeat to you, little children, that with prayer and fasting also wars can be suppressed. Little children, believe and live this time of grace in faith and with faith; and my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness if you have recourse to me. I intercede for you before the Most High and I pray for peace in your hearts and for hope for the future. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother, we are so grateful to God for having sent you to us. You are leading us to the future, the future in eternity with our God! We feel so safe, knowing that your Immaculate Heart does not leave any of us outside of God’s peace, if we turn to you. And so we do turn to you today in this novena, and commit ourselves to follow you into a future of hope. Let us pray: Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 8 O Most gracious Virgin Mary, beloved Mother of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, intercede with Him for us that we be granted the favor which we petition for so earnestly in this novena… O Mother of the Word Incarnate, we feel animated with confidence that your prayers in our behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. O Glorious Mother of God, in memory of your joyous Immaculate Conception, hear our prayers and obtain for us our petitions.  [Mention your intention now] O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Immaculate Conception Novena, Day 7   December 5, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Day 7 of our Immaculate Conception Novena! Today we remind ourselves of how highly favored Mary is by God. God raised her up to be the Mother of His Son! He made her free of Original Sin, through the prevenient grace she received which came upon her through Jesus’ Death on the Cross. It is such a miracle! All done to prepare the way for Jesus, who would save us all! It is beyond our comprehension!! But we now can draw close to Her Heart, so Immaculate, and be healed and freed! Then we can help her to find her other children! Our Lady told us: October 25, 1996  “Dear children! Today I invite you to open yourselves to God the Creator, so that He changes you. Little children, you are dear to me. I love you all and I call you to be closer to me and that your love towards my Immaculate Heart be more fervent. I wish to renew you and lead you with my Heart to the Heart of Jesus, which still today suffers for you and calls you to conversion and renewal. Through you, I wish to renew the world. Comprehend, little children, that you are today the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Little children, I invite you and I love you and in a special way implore: Convert!” Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother, we want to love your Immaculate Heart more fervently, to draw closer to you each day, and to convert more profoundly each moment of each day, so that we can can help you to renew the world! Please keep our hearts focused on this plan, through prayer and conversion. We love you so much! Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 7 O Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God, and our mother, from the sublime heights of your dignity turn your merciful eyes upon us while we, full of confidence in your bounty and keeping in mind your Immaculate Conception and fully conscious of your power, beg of you to come to our aid and ask your Divine Son to grant the favor we earnestly seek in this novena… if it be beneficial for our immortal souls and the souls for whom we pray.  [Mention your intention now] O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Pray for us and obtain for us from Him the granting of our petitions according to His love. Amen. Immaculate Conception Novena Day 6   December 4, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s pray this Novena to the Immaculate Conception together! We are on Day 6! Today Our Lady speaks to us about her Immaculate Heart. She wants us to be close to her Immaculate Heart, as close as a baby is to his mother’s heart when she holds him close. She wants us to allow the love of her heart to flow through us, giving us strength, healing, and hope. She wants her prayer to flow through us, presenting us to God and helping us to ask for what we need. She wants us to pray with hearts that are similar to her heart! Our Lady told us: November 25, 1994  “Dear children! Today I call you to prayer. I am with you and I love you all. I am your Mother and I wish that your hearts be similar to my heart. Little children, without prayer you cannot live and say that you are mine. Prayer is joy. Prayer is what the human heart desires. Therefore, get closer, little children, to my Immaculate Heart and you will discover God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Let us pray: Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 6 Glorious and immortal Queen of Heaven, we profess our firm belief in your Immaculate Conception preordained for you in the merits of your Divine Son. We rejoice with you in your Immaculate Conception. To the one ever-reigning God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three in Person, one in nature, we offer thanks for your blessed Immaculate Conception. Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 5   December 3, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s pray this Novena to the Immaculate Conception together! We are on Day 5! Our Lady told us: October 2, 2016 “Dear children, the Holy Spirit, according to the Heavenly Father, made me the mother – the mother of Jesus – and by this alone, also your mother. That is why I am coming to hear you, that I may open my motherly arms to you; to give you my heart and to call you to remain with me, because from the top of the cross my Son entrusted you to me. Unfortunately, many of my children have not come to know the love of my Son; many of them do not want to come to know Him. Oh, my children, how much bad is done by those who must see or interpret in order to come to believe. That is why, you, my children, my apostles, in the silence of your heart, listen to the voice of my Son, so that your heart may be His home, that it may not be dark and sad, but that it may be illuminated with the light of my Son. Seek hope with faith, because faith is the life of the soul. Anew I am calling you: pray, pray to live faith in humility, in spiritual peace, and illuminated by the light. My children, do not strive to comprehend everything immediately, because I also did not comprehend everything immediately; but I loved, and I believed in the divine words which my Son spoke – He who was the first light and the beginning of redemption. Apostles of my love – you who pray, sacrifice yourselves, love and do not judge – you go and spread the truth, the words of my Son, the Gospel, because you are the living Gospel; you are the rays of the light of my Son. My Son and I will be with you to encourage you and to test you. My children, always implore the blessing of those, and only of those whose hands have been blessed by my Son, of your shepherds. Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 4   December 2, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s pray this Novena to the Immaculate Conception together! We are on Day 4! On this day we call on Our Lady as “Mary, Mother of God!” This is an exalted privilege. But she extends her motherhood to all who call upon her. She considers us all her children! This blessing is incredible. We have such a mother!!! Listen to this message from 2014: July 2, 2014  “Dear children, I, the mother of all of you gathered here and the mother of the entire world, am blessing you with a motherly blessing and call you to set out on the way of humility. That way leads to the coming to know the love of my Son. My Son is almighty, He is in everything. If you, my children, do not become cognizant of this, then darkness/blindness rule in your soul. Only humility can heal you. My children, I always lived humbly, courageously and in hope. I knew, I became cognizant that God is in us and we are in God. I am asking the same of you. I desire for all of you to be with me in eternity, because you are a part of me. I will help you on your way. My love will envelop you like a mantle and make of you apostles of my light – of God’s light. With the love that comes forth from humility you will bring light to where darkness/blindness rule. You will be bringing my Son who is the light of the world. I am always alongside your shepherds and I pray that they may always be an example of humility for you… Thank you.” Our Mother is Jesus’ Mother! Our Mother is the Mother of the entire world! And she knows each one of us intimately and is concerned for each of us as only a mother may be concerned. Let’s be at peace because as she says, “I will help you on your way. My love will envelop you like a mantle and make of you apostles of my light – of God’s light.” Let us pray: Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 4 O Mary, Mother of God, endowed in your glorious Immaculate Conception with the fullness of grace; unique among women in that you are both mother and virgin; Mother of Christ and Virgin of Christ, we ask you to look down with a tender heart from your throne and listen to our prayers as we earnestly ask that you obtain for us the favor for which we now plead…  [Mention your intention now] O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Pray for us and obtain for us from Him the granting of our petitions if they be the Divine Will. Amen. O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son, we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve her from all stain, so too You would permit us, purified through her intercession, to come unto You. Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 3 December 1 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s pray this Novena to the Immaculate Conception together! We are on Day 3! Our Lady was given the incredible grace to be conceived without sin! Not since Adam and Eve were created did such a thing happen. All men were and still are under the curse that God laid upon Adam and Eve! (Read Genesis chapter 3) All humankind has been broken by sin and weakness, not listening to nor following God’s commands. Our lives are difficult because of the curse, and difficult because of our proclivity to sin. Only Mary, of all Adam and Eve’s descendants, was conceived free of original sin, through the grace that Jesus won on the Cross, applied to her conception in advance, so to speak!! Now Mary is with us to help us in our journey towards wholeness and holiness in a very special way in Medjugorje. She told us: October 25, 1988 “Dear children! My invitation that you live the messages which I am giving you is a daily one, specially, little children, because I want to draw you closer to the Heart of Jesus. Therefore, little children, I am inviting you today to the prayer of consecration to Jesus, my dear Son, so that each of you may be His. And then I am inviting you to the consecration of my Immaculate Heart. I want you to consecrate yourselves as parents, as families and as parishioners so that all belong to God through my heart. Therefore, little children, pray that you comprehend the greatness of this message which I am giving you. I do not want anything for myself, rather all for the salvation of your soul. Satan is strong and therefore, you, little children, by constant prayer, press tightly against my motherly heart. Thank you for having responded to my call.” What an amazing message this is!! Our Lady wants us to consecrate ourselves and all we are connected to, to her Immaculate Heart! She wants to bring us all to God through her Heart! It is that Immaculate Heart that can lead us, protect us, and guide us to Jesus. We only need to “press tightly against her Motherly Heart!!” Let us pray: Immaculate Conception Novena – Day 3 O Blessed Virgin Mary, glory of the Christian people, joy of the universal Church and Mother of Our Lord, speak for us to the Heart of Jesus, who is your Son and our brother. O Mary, who by your holy Immaculate Conception did enter the world free from stain, in your mercy obtain for us from Jesus the special favor which we now so earnestly seek…  [Mention your intention now] O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Pray for us and obtain for us from Him the granting of our petitions if they be His Will. Amen. O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son, we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve her from all stain, so too You would permit us, purified through her intercession, to come unto You. Prayer opens hearts!   November 29, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! November 25, 2022 “Dear children! The Most High has sent me to you to teach you prayer. Prayer opens hearts and gives hope, and faith is born and strengthened. Little children, with love I am calling you: return to God, because God is love and your hope. You do not have a future if you do not decide for God; and that is why I am with you to guide you to decide for conversion and life, and not for death. Thank you for having responded to my call.” This message is so very powerful. Our Lady calls us to prayer, the kind of prayer that opens our hearts, and gives us hope, and gives us faith and strength. This kind of prayer penetrates our being and lifts us up to the Lord! It sustains us in trials and shows us the wonders of God! St. Faustina must have had this kind of prayer, because she was given incredible insights into God! She was not educated. And she spent most of her time working in the convent, washing and cooking and cleaning. But her heart was open, full of hope and faith, and was strong!! Here is an entry from her diary in which she shares one of her experiences in prayer. It is a good example of the kind of prayer Our Lady wants to teach us: From St. Faustina’s Diary: 180. + During Advent, a great yearning for God arose in my soul. My spirit rushed toward God with all its might. During that time, the Lord gave me much light to know His attributes. The first attribute which the Lord gave me to know is His holiness. His holiness is so great that all the Powers and Virtues tremble before Him. The pure spirits veil their faces and lose themselves in unending adoration, and with one single word they express the highest form of adoration; that is – Holy The holiness of God is poured out upon the Church of God and upon every living soul in it, but not in the same degree. There are souls who are completely penetrated by God, and there are those who are barely alive. The second kind of knowledge which the Lord granted me concerns His justice. His justice is so great and penetrating that it reaches deep into the heart of things, and all things stand before Him in naked truth, and nothing can withstand Him. The third attribute is love and mercy. And I understood that the greatest attribute is love and mercy. It unites the creature with the Creator. This immense love and abyss of mercy are made known in the Incarnation of the Word and in the Redemption [of humanity], and it is here that I saw this as the greatest of all God’s attributes. (Diary entry 180) Well, St. Faustina’s spirit “rushed toward God with all its might!” This is the kind of prayer that strengthens one’s faith and hope and leads us to God, who is our life!
