For all of us who are feeling any anxiety or fear of the future, Our Lady has given us her promise, that she is with us as a gift of God and that her presence will make us happy. Here are two of her recent messages that address our fear and worry. Be encouraged by these messages! They are for each one of us. They speak the truth, and they can heal us of our fear. June 25, 2016 “Dear children! Give thanks to God with me for the gift of my being with you. Pray, little children, and live God’s commandments that it may be good for you on earth. Today, on this day of grace, I desire to give you my motherly blessing of peace and of my love. I intercede for you with my Son and call you to persevere in prayer so that, with you, I can realize my plans. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 2nd, 2016 “Dear children, My real, living presence among you should make you happy because this is the great love of my Son. He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety; that you may comprehend that pain and joy, suffering and love, make your soul live intensely; that I may call you anew to glorify the Heart of Jesus, the heart of faith, the Eucharist. From day to day through the centuries, my Son, alive, returns among you – He returns to you, though He has never left you. When one of you, my children, returns to Him, my motherly heart leaps with joy. Therefore, my children, return to the Eucharist, to my Son. The way to my Son is difficult, full of renunciations, but at the end, there is always the light. I understand your pains and sufferings, and with motherly love I wipe your tears. Trust in my Son, because He will do for you what you would not even know how to ask for. You, my children, you should be concerned only for your soul, because it is the only thing on earth that belongs to you. You will bring it, dirty or clean, before the Heavenly Father. Remember, faith in the love of my Son will always be rewarded. I implore you, in a special way, to pray for those whom my Son called to live according to Him and to love their flock. Thank you.” Our Lady is with us, to help us, to pray in us and for us, to watch over us, to sympathize with us, and to teach us. She is our Mother. The saint for today, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein) wrote this about our relationship to Our Lady: “And just as the heart sustains the other organs of the woman’s body and makes it possible for them to function, so we may genuinely believe there is just such a collaboration of Mary with every woman wherever that woman is fulfilling her vocation as woman; just so, there is a collaboration of Mary with us in all works of the Church. But just as grace cannot achieve its work in souls unless they open themselves to it in free decision, so also Mary cannot function fully as a mother if people do not entrust themselves to her.” -Edith Stein, The Church, Woman, and Youth What she is saying is true. Mary offers so much help, support and love to us, but we must be open to her help and presence in order to receive it! That is our job. We must open our hearts to Mary so she can free us of fear and anxiety. She will wipe our tears! Trust in Mary, as she has been sent by God to us in this time, to help us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
