Christmas Novena, Day 9- Jesus, You take care of it!

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2015 J.M.J. December 23, 2017 Christmas Novena Day Nine Dear Family of Mary! This is the ninth day of our Novena before Christmas! Again today the parish will climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary. We will join them live, through Mary TV! We have made it to the ninth day!! I believe that the great gift we are being given in the novena is the gift of deep peace. Our surrender to Jesus, through Mary, will produce an unending source of peace for each one of us. Isn’t this the message of Christmas! Jesus, the Lord, is born to us, a Savior. He comes to free us from our sins and lead us into the Kingdom of His Father. We have only to follow Him. May we learn to surrender, moment by moment, to our Infant Savior, and we will experience the peace of God. December 25, 1998 (Jakov) “Dear children! Today, on the birthday of my Son, my heart is filled with immeasurable joy, love and peace. As your mother, I desire for each of you to feel that same joy, peace and love in the heart. That is why do not be afraid to open your heart and to completely surrender yourself to Jesus, because only in this way can He enter into your heart and fill it with love, peace and joy. I bless you with my motherly blessing.” Novena of Surrender to the Will of God, Day Nine (Jesus speaks to Fr. Ruotolo) Pray always in readiness to surrender, and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards, even when I confer on you the grace of immolation, of repentance and of love. Then what does suffering matter? It seems impossible to you? Close your eyes and say with all your soul, “Jesus, you take care of it.” Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well. There is no novena more effective than this: “O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!” O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times) Mother, I am yours now and forever. Through you and with you I always want to belong completely to Jesus. Let us pray 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory bes… Lord Jesus, through the Intercession of Your Mother, Mary, we want pray always in readiness to surrender ourselves to You, as You ask, saying “Jesus, you take care of it”. May we learn to surrender our entire selves to You, just as Our Lady did her entire life. In that way may we give you glory and honor all our days, and especially at this celebration of your Incarnation and Nativity. We are all yours through the guidance and intercession of our Mother, Mary! Amen. SURRENDER PRAYER God, my Father, I thank you for all that you are, and all that you do for me through your son Jesus Christ. I praise you for my life, for your mercy and for your Eucharist. In Jesus’ name, Father, I place myself entirely in your Heart. I surrender to you my whole self, my heart, my mind, my memory, my imagination, my will, my emotions, my passions, my body, my sexuality, my desire for human approval, my weaknesses, my desires, my sins. I surrender every person in my life to you. I surrender every situation in my life to you. I surrender every relationship I am in to you. I surrender every concern I have to you. I surrender every fear I have to you. I surrender every doubt I have to you. I surrender all confusion I have to you. I surrender all sadness I am experiencing in my heart to you. I surrender all my wounds to you. I surrender all anxiety and worry I have to you. I surrender all that deceives me in my heart to you. I trust you to care for me and others in a perfectly loving way. As I have emptied myself, and surrendered everything to you, I ask you now, Father, to fill me with your Holy Spirit and all the gifts and fruits of your Spirit. Holy Spirit you are the source of love, hope, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, tenderness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. Purify my desires. Help me to open my heart to you. Help me to become perfectly receptive as a pure child. Help me to believe in your love for me. Help me to hope in your love. Help me to receive from the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus all grace and virtues necessary for me to become the person you created me to be. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Your son, God Almighty Father. O Most Holy Immaculate Virgin Mary. I entrust this prayer to your Heart, and ask you to press it to your wounded heart and intercede for me to your Son Jesus. Please help me to be as you are, a perfect disciple, an obedient servant, a true child of God. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2017 PS. Christmas Novena, Day 8- Let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of My grace!

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2016 J.M.J. December 22, 2017 Christmas Novena Day Eight Dear Family of Mary! This is the eighth day of our Novena before Christmas! Again today the parish will climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary. We will join them live, through Mary TV! In this message, Our Lady calls us to give Jesus the gift of our lives on Christmas Day. She will accept our surrender, and then offer us to Jesus, her Infant Son! This is exactly what we have been hoping for in this novena, to give ourselves to Jesus in complete and trusting surrender. She tells us the Jesus loves us and give us the grace to “live in His mercy”. Living in Jesus’ mercy means that we entrust ourselves so much to Him, that He can cover us with mercy every moment of our day. To live Jesus’ mercy is to experience our salvation, moment by moment, given to us by our Savior in actual terms in our real, concrete lives. This is a miracle of mercy! And Jesus shows us the way, through His words to Fr. Dolindo, when He says “I promise you by my love that if you say ‘You take care of it,’ I will take care of it all.” Let us live in Jesus’ mercy! December 25, 2012 (Jakov) “Dear children, give the gift of your life to me and completely surrender to me so that I may help you to comprehend my motherly love and the love of my Son for you. My children, I love you immeasurably and today, in a special way, on the day of the birth of my Son, I desire to receive each of you into my heart and to give a gift of your lives to my Son. My children, Jesus loves you and gives you the grace to live in His mercy, but sin has overtaken many of your hearts and you live in darkness. Therefore, my children, do not wait, say ‘no’ to sin and surrender your hearts to my Son, because only in this way will you be able to live God’s mercy and, with Jesus in your hearts, set out on the way of salvation.” Novena of Surrender to the Will of God, Day Eight (Jesus speaks to Fr. Ruotolo) Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of my grace; close your eyes and do not think of the present, turning your thoughts away from the future just as you would from temptation. Repose in me, believing in my goodness, and I promise you by my love that if you say “You take care of it.” I will take care of it all; I will console you, liberate you and guide you. O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times) Let us pray 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory bes… Lord Jesus, through the Intercession of Your Mother, Mary, may we learn to live these words, “I promise you by my love that if you say ‘You take care of it,’ I will take care of it all.” We want to live your mercy, Jesus! In that way may we give you glory and honor all our days, and especially at this celebration of your Incarnation and Nativity. We are all yours through the guidance and intercession of our Mother, Mary! Amen.
