Pray, work and witness with love!

Pray, work and witness with love for the Kingdom of Heaven that it may be good for you here on earth…” (August 25, 2019) The August 25, 2019 message is a call to action. Our Lady is giving us our marching orders. The time is now. We must do our job for her, now! What is she telling us: “Pray, work and witness with love for the Kingdom of Heaven…” We must pray for the Kingdom of Heaven to come into our own hearts and into the hearts of all those we meet. That is our first job. To pray for Jesus to come into our own lives and the lives of all. Prayer works miracles. And so we need to become prayer warriors who work miracles of love and conversion wherever we go. We must work for the Kingdom of Heaven. How do we work for the Kingdom? We live our vocation in life with our eyes set on Heaven, and we do everything in our day with love. We build the Kingdom of Heaven through our selfless work. We must witness with love for the Kingdom of Heaven. What does it mean to witness with love? The word “witness” as a verb means to testify to the truth. It means to stand up for what we know to be true, even if it costs us some sacrifice or suffering. To stand with the truth can make us “martyrs,” which is the word form in Greek for “witness” or “spectator” or sometimes “testifier”. We understand that martyrs are those who put their life on the line to stand for their Christian faith. They witness that Jesus is God and Man, that He died for our sins, and rose again on the third day. They believe all the Jesus taught and will not deny it. Being someone willing to suffer for their witness of faith is the way to build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. “…that it may be good for you here on earth…” If we do these three things, pray, work and witness with love, Our Lady tells us that it will have an effect on our life on earth. Working for the Kingdom of Heaven can change our life on earth!! The more we live for Heaven, the holier we become, and that holiness makes our life with others better. We pray. We love. We serve. We share. We bless. We accompany. We feed. We do all we can to help others. Life on earth becomes better when we live for Heaven. “Dear children! Pray, work and witness with love for the Kingdom of Heaven that it may be good for you here on earth…” May we respond to Our Lady’s marching orders!! Now is the time!!
