(c)Mary TV June 10, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “My heart is burning with love for you…”  (April 25, 1983) I would like to follow up on our discussion yesterday about Our Lady being “incandescent heat in the heart of the Trinity”. Reuben Purchase shared about the beautiful Sanctuary of the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, with the images of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit preparing to crown Our Lady. The rays of grace were streaming from the Holy Spirit through the crown over Our Lady, who stands beneath it, pure white and beautiful. Reuben felt like this was a good representation of what it might be like to see Mary in the heart of the Holy Trinity, glowing, incandescent, with the Power of God! I agree!! And I would like to share about how we first heard about Our Lady as “incandescent heat in the heart of the Trinity!” We first heard this from Mother Immaculata, OCD. She was the Prioress of the Mount Carmel Hermitage in Bloomingdale, Ohio. (Mother Immaculata died on February 3, 2013. Mother Immaculata, pray for us!) Denis and she were exchanging letters about Our Lady of Medjugorje! Mother had been to Medjugorje in 1993 and had kept up on the events ever since. In a letter to Denis, dated September 13, 2011, Mother shared about her conviction that Our Lady’s triumph was under way! She wrote: “Absolutely, this is Mary’s hour and she is about to crush Satan’s head. Her very being is like incandescent heat in the center of the Trinity and the manifestation of her power is growing daily. The Immaculate Conception Prayer (which is what Our Lady called the prayer she gave me for union with her) has been used by exorcists who have told me that the devil reacts violently to it and is subdued by it.” Denis and I have never forgotten those powerful words from Mother Immaculata! They describe so perfectly what is happening in our day. Our Lady’s power is growing, as her Triumph nears! Her power is love. And the love that she is pouring out on all of us is extending her reign of love through each of us! We are all becoming “incandescent heat” more or less as we unite our hearts to her heart. That “heat” is the love of God which crushes the head of Satan. (And as the exorcists have told Mother, I think that if we are being tempted in any way, saying this prayer will drive the enemy far away, and keep our souls safe.) Here is her prayer, the “Totus Tuus Prayer”! Our Lady gave it to Mother Immaculata in 1956! It is so very powerful because in it we ask that we become completely united with Mary, in every way! In that unity, her purity and holiness, her love and faith can be manifested in each of us, and together we can rout the enemy, making him flee. This is what will cure the earth of all sin. Our Lady’s presence and purity bring Jesus to earth as the King of all!! Let’s pray this prayer together now, and daily from now on, even often throughout the day!! Totus Tuus (Totally Yours) Immaculate Conception, Mary my Mother, Live in me, Act in me, Speak in me and through me, Think your thoughts in my mind, Love through my heart, Give me your dispositions and feelings, Teach, lead me and guide me to Jesus, Correct, enlighten and expand my thoughts and behavior, Possess my soul, Take over my entire personality and life, replace it with Yourself, Incline me to constant adoration, Pray in me and through me, Let me live in you and keep me in this union always. The Shrine of Divine Mercy Stockbridge, Massachusetts The Marians of the Immaculate Conception   June 9, 2020 St. Ephrem of Syria Dear Family of Mary! Today our brother, Reuben, shares with us something beautiful he discovered about Our Lady in relation to the Blessed Trinity! It makes me so excited!! He heard Denis and me talking about something that Mother Immaculata had said about Our Lady to us in a letter she wrote to us in 2011. She said: “This is Mary’s hour and she is about to crush Satan’s head. Her very being is like incandescent heat in the center of the Trinity and the manifestation of her power is growing daily!” I will share more about Mother Immaculata tomorrow. But here is Reuben’s reflection on Our Lady’s Incandescence!! Our Lady as the “Incandescence of the Trinity”. We’ve just celebrated Trinity Sunday. I was praying the rosary with Mary TV just after attending “virtual” Mass at the Shrine of Divine Mercy, Stockbridge. I was listening to Denis and Cathy speak about the Sister Immaculata’s observation that Our Lady is like the “incandescence” at the heart of the Trinity.  This discussion reminded me of the sacred art above the shrine’s altar. It’s such a great visual representation of how the power of all three Persons of the Trinity are drawn down through Mary’s crown to light up her majestic figure. She is a strong and mighty figure, glorious and white as Christ might have been at the Transfiguration, and she is standing just above Divine Mercy, as the herald she surely is for these last days of God’s unfathomable desire to forgive and forget our sins. This idea of “incandescence” also makes me think of Mary’s Magnificat. Scripture tells us that Mary ‘magnifies the Lord”. This line always makes me think of a magnifying glass picking up the rays of the sun and setting alight the dry ground. This must have been what her presence – her heart – was like during the nine days awaiting Pentecost. She must have been so focused on prayer, a creature so empty of self-interest, and so pure in love, that she can serve as a vessel to enflame the whole environment of apostles around her. Perhaps that’s why Mary calls us her “Apostles of Light”! Perhaps she wants to do the same for us! This is why Medjugorje, and Medjugorje’s pilgrims, are so aflame with the faith, because the little Mother is always with us, praying. Now I look again to the altarpiece at Stockbridge, and I see how Mary’s crown is itself like a magnifying glass. The hole in its centre is empty, and small, as empty and small as the ego of Mary. The Persons of the Trinity are all looking lovingly down on the splendour of that crown’s humility. They see the victory of love in its tiny, unseen centre, and so do we who see the Mother in Medjugorje! The crowning of Mary is a herald for us all. It stands over Divine Mercy for us all. It announces that we who are small too can also be God’s royal children! That is the incandescence of the Trinity: its burning scandal of love, to bend down among us who are nothing but dust and raise us up to the throne!  How blessed we are to stand beneath the figures of Mary and Jesus in this bright-lit time. (Reuben Purchase) Thank you so much Reuben!  So beautiful!!! Your selfless and pure love for God allows the Trinitarian love to flow through your heart to our hearts, magnifying and sharing that heat, that fire of love that they give to you, with us, and setting us aflame!!
