Discover the joy of living!! (c) Mary TV June 13, 2020 St. Henry Dear Family of Mary! “Your life is passing and, without God, does not have meaning. This is why I am with you to lead you towards holiness of life, so that each of you may discover the joy of living…” (June 25, 2020) Our Lady is not afraid to point out to us that our lives are passing. She tells us that frequently. I have always thought that she is quite bold. In the modern world, where many people do not believe in God or eternal life, the idea of death is quite repugnant. They spend a lot of time trying to postpone aging, in an attempt to ignore the fact that they will one day die. Look how young I look! Isn’t it amazing? And they just do not talk about death in personal terms. But Our Lady, in her humility and holiness, did not fear death nor live as if death did not exist. She had lived the death of her Son, Jesus, at the hands of His enemies, and she had waited in silence and faith for His Resurrection. She waited in deep patience and prayer for her own death and was assumed into Heaven!! She knows that life on earth will end for every man, but that life in Heaven will never end. And so, she keeps trying to wake us up to the reality of death, the reality of this passing world, so that we will aim at the life in Heaven, through faith. Mother knows we try to run from the reality of death. God sent her to us to wake us up! She is with us to keep the reality of our passing earthly life before our eyes because it is the truth and as an incentive for us to choose her Son and His love as our sole reality. Only by living with Jesus, living in humility and holiness, will we find the joy in living. Jesus makes everything in this passing world meaningful because each thought, word and deed done for love of Him and fidelity to the Father, will bring us closer and closer to heaven. The joy of living is the joy of living for Jesus! She said as much in this message: November 25, 2012 “Dear children! In this time of grace, I call all of you to renew prayer. Open yourselves to Holy Confession so that each of you may accept my call with the whole heart. I am with you and I protect you from the ruin of sin, but you must open yourselves to the way of conversion and holiness, that your heart may burn out of love for God. Give Him time and He will give Himself to you and thus, in the will of God you will discover the love and the joy of living. Thank you for having responded to my call.” God sent Our Lady to us, at this particular time in history, to lead us to holiness of life so that we would find in that holiness the joy of living! The Father knew that we would need her help at this time, when the enemy of our souls is attempting to destroy us all. But the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is upon us to deep-six the enemy’s entire plan of destruction. Let’s stay safely under her mantle and live the joy she is bringing us. This is the battle plan from Heaven. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
