August 1, 2020 Update from Denis! By Our Lady’s Side!

(c)Mary TV August 1, 2020 Dear Apostles of Our Lady of Medjugorje: One week after he was ordained to the priesthood, Fr. Daniel-Maria Klimek (see my July 14th update) told us why he had chosen his chalice – why it had such meaning for him: https://c.streamhoster.com/embed/media/WVsBSd/xMQ52FexsiB/SYGhu2sAjTu_1?preview=1 We should be hearing more testimonies during this year’s youth festival.  More vocations to the priesthood have come from Medjugorje than from any other place in the world.  Listen again, for instance, to Fr. Donald Calloway’s testimony, that he gave three months after he was ordained: https://marytv.tv/fruit-of-medjugorje/?smid=OCMO6mdsip4&slid=9PIw6LzMsiy Satan was harvesting then too.  He owned young Don Calloway.  Note how Our Lady, at the very last minute, snatched him from the Devil’s hands. Our Lady never loses a battle when she has her children by her side.  She’s has warned about Satan’s activity before.  Just before snatching Don Calloway from the Devil’s grasp she warned in her message: “Dear children! Today, like never before, I invite you to prayer. Let your prayer be a prayer for peace. Satan is strong and desires to destroy not only human life, but also nature and the planet on which you live. Therefore, dear children, pray that through prayer you can protect yourselves with God’s blessing of peace. God has sent me among you so that I may help you. If you so wish, grasp for the rosary. Even the rosary alone can work miracles in the world and in your lives. I bless you and I remain with you for as long as it is God’s will. Thank you for not betraying my presence here and I thank you because your response is serving the good and the peace.” (January 25, 1991) Fr. Calloway told me he attributed the grace of conversion to his mother’s rosary that she was praying in response to Our Lady’s call from Medjugorje.  In her February 25, 1988 message Our Lady told us all: “Pray and let the rosary always be in your hand as a sign to Satan that you belong to me.” Thirty-five years ago Our Lady told us how to achieve the victory against him: “Dear children! Today I call you especially now to advance against Satan by means of prayer. Satan wants to work still more now that you know he is at work. Dear children, put on the armor for battle and with the Rosary in your hand defeat him! Thank you for having responded to my call.”  (August 8, 1985) God bless you!

July 31, 2020 Reflection – The Stations of the Cross

(c)Mary TV July 31, 2020 St. Ignatius of Loyola, Priest and Religious Founder Dear Family of Mary! Today is Friday.  We pray the Sorrowful Mysteries today in remembrance of the sacrifice that Jesus made, the sacrifice of His death on the Cross for our salvation.  As best we can we try to immerse ourselves in that remembrance.  We need to be overwhelmed with this reality, that Jesus laid down His life for each one of us, enduring the horror of the Cross and the shame of being our scapegoat.  We need to stay with Jesus on His way to Calvary, like Our Lady stayed with Him.  We need to love Him through it all. Our Lady told us; March 25, 1997 “Dear children! Today, in a special way, I invite you to take the cross in the hands and to meditate on the wounds of Jesus. Ask of Jesus to heal your wounds, which you, dear children, during your life sustained because of your sins or the sins of your parents. Only in this way, dear children, you will understand that the world is in need of healing of faith in God the Creator. By Jesus’ passion and death on the cross, you will understand that only through prayer you, too, can become true apostles of faith; when, in simplicity and prayer, you live faith which is a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We need to meditate on each step of the Way of the Cross, so that the grace of Jesus’ sacrifice will sink in and we will understand how much we are loved. Jesus, Himself, taught St. Faustina about how to meditate on His Passion, every day during the Hour of Mercy, 3:00 pm.  Here is what He told her: 1572. I remind you, My daughter, that as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners; for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world – mercy triumphed over justice. My daughter, try your best to make the Stations of the Cross in this hour, provided that your duties permit it; and if you are not able to make the Stations of the Cross, then at least step into the chapel for a moment and adore, in the Blessed Sacrament, My Heart, which is full of mercy; and should you be unable to step into the chapel, immerse yourself in prayer there where you happen to be, if only for a very brief instant. I claim veneration for My mercy from every creature, but above all from you, since it is to you that I have given the most profound understanding of this mystery. (Diary, 1572) To meditate on the Stations of the Cross is to meditate on Divine Mercy!  We see the greatest love of all time, at the Cross. Today, try to pray the Stations of the Cross, at 3:00 pm if you can, but whenever you can find the time, do it!  You will not regret it!!  (We will pray the Stations during Hour of Mercy today!) Let’s pray for the Youth Festival which begins tomorrow evening in Medjugorje!  You can join it, live, on Mary TV! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020
