(c)Mary TV August 4, 2020 St. John Vianney Dear Family of Mary! Well, we are already at Day 4 of the 31st Youth Festival, and it is more powerful than I would have ever guessed. During this year that has been marked by the Covid Virus, and all the social upheaval that has accompanied that pandemic, we see that the graces of Our Lady’s presence are alive and well. She is still with us in Medjugorje and she is pouring out her graces upon the pilgrims who have come to the Festival, despite the uncertainty of travel and the fear of disease. Our Lady is a haven of peace and hope for the people who are in Medjugorje now, and for all of us who are joining through the live streaming. A surprisingly beautiful feature of Mary TV’s coverage of the Youth Festival is a daily video with short interviews with the participants! Our team, led by Gabriella and Dario, meets with random pilgrims to ask them where they are from, why they are here, and what they have experienced! And the answers are amazing!! Today I am calling you to live your new life with Jesus. May the Risen One give you strength to always be strong in the trials of life and to be faithful and persevering in prayer; because Jesus saved you by His wounds and by His Resurrection gave you new life. Pray, little children, and do not lose hope. May joy and peace be in your hearts and witness the joy that you are mine. I am with you and love you all with my motherly love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Youth Festival provides many graces for the new life with Jesus! Prayer, faith sharing, confession, Holy Mass, Adoration, and lots of singing with joy!! God bless you all! We need to be infused with joy and hope. Our Lady provides it in the Youth Festival.
