November 20, 2020 Reflection – Adore Him Alone!

Adore Him Alone November 20, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Day 2 of our Second Novena of Prayer for the World and our Countries. Here is the inspiration for this Novena, as given to St. Faustina by Our Lady in 1934: Our Lady told St. Faustina: On the day of the Assumption of the Mother of God, I did not assist at Holy Mass. The woman doctor did not allow me; but I prayed fervently in my cell. After a short time, I saw the Mother of God, unspeakably beautiful. She said to me, My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer. (Diary 325) Our Lady constantly calls us to adore her Son, to focus only on Him, to make Him our sole desire.  And in these times, she asks us to stand before Him, as burning votive candles, loving Him and adoring Him for the sake of the world and our countries. Our Lady gave us this sobering and powerful message in 2011: September 2, 2011 “Dear children; With all my heart and soul full of faith and love in the Heavenly Father, I gave my Son to you and am giving Him to you anew. My Son has brought you, the people of the entire world, to know the only true God and His love. He has led you on the way of truth and made you brothers and sisters. Therefore, my children, do not wander, do not close your heart before that truth, hope and love. Everything around you is passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains. Therefore, renounce everything that distances you from the Lord. Adore Him alone, because He is the only true God. I am with you and I will remain with you. I am especially praying for the shepherds that they may be worthy representatives of my Son and may lead you with love on the way of truth. Thank you.” Let us adore Jesus alone, calling upon His name with all our hearts for the sake of our countries and the world.  We will pray this Litany of the Name of Jesus!  It is powerful and timely for us.  Never lose your focus on Jesus, call on His name, adore Him alone.
