Do not forget: I am with you… September 7, 2021 Dear Family of Mary! “Do not forget: I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus, that He may give you His peace.” (August 25, 2021) Our Lady has told us she is with us many times (at least 224 times in her messages). Her presence in Medjugorje is palpable and we are aware of her presence there. But she is with each one of us where ever we are in a special way. She means it! She is with me and she is with you right where you are now! This should make a very big difference in our lives. It is not just some kind of nicety. She is not just saying it to make us feel better. She is with each of us, really! When I first read this message and I came to her words, “I am with you”, I had one of those moments when time seems to stop and everything goes quiet. I felt pulled out of time for a moment. And I realized that what Our Lady said was true. The enormity of knowing that she was with me at that moment overcame me. I was stunned. The weight of her presence descended upon me, I felt her warmth and her love like a blanket. I felt the security of Our Lady’s love. These feelings only lasted a few seconds, but they left me with a whole different reality. Our Lady is with me, really!! Then I reread the message and noticed that Our Lady said, “Do not forget; I am with you…” And I realized that I need to be connected to Our Lady’s presence now at all times. It is not just a nice thought to have once in a while. I need to be aware of Her presence every minute of my day. Why? Because she is here and I love her so much, for one thing. But also because we are in the midst of a raging spiritual battle in these days. We are very vulnerable if we are outside the covering and loving presence of Mary. She alone has the victory. We must choose to be with her, as she has chosen to be with us. If we forget, we will come out from under her protective covering. Do not forget!! Mother is right here with us. We need her that close. And what is she doing as she is with us? “I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus, that He may give you His peace.” Mother is with us to pray over us constantly, asking Jesus to give us His peace. She is praying for our peace. That is what I felt so strongly in that moment when I realized in a palpable way that Our Lady was with me. I felt deep peace. That peace came from her prayer for me. Oh, don’t we need her prayer for peace. Don’t we need her protection and comfort. Don’t we need her presence in these difficult days. Let’s not forget, the Mother is with us! As it says on the Miraculous Medal: “Oh Mary, conceived without sin, Pray for us who have recourse to thee!!” Say is over and over!!! Mother we thank you for being with us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
