St. Therese, pray for us! October 1, 2021 St. Therese of the Child Jesus Dear Family of Mary! “Be aware, little children, that life is short, and eternity is waiting for you to give glory to God with your being, with all the saints.” Today is the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, Doctor of the Church! Little Therese was always a child in relation to God, always humble and simple in her devotion to Jesus, and so very brave in her desire to love God above all else! She challenges us all to grow in love and humility. She lived with Heaven as her goal with great constancy, especially in her suffering at the end of her life. Let’s ask brave little Therese to pray for us today, as we try to live Our Lady’s words. Life is short! Eternity is waiting for us! May we enter eternity giving glory to God with our whole beings, just as St. Therese did! With St. Therese and all the saints we will give glory to God forever! Saint Therese, inflamed with the Spirit of Love, pray for us. Saint Therese, child of benediction, pray for us. Saint Therese, perfect in simplicity, pray for us. Saint Therese, so remarkable for trust in God, pray for us. Saint Therese, gifted with unusual intelligence, pray for us. Saint Therese, never invoked without some answer, pray for us. Saint Therese, teaching us the sure way, pray for us. Saint Therese, victim of Divine Love, pray for us. Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.
