November 4, 2021 Reflection – He who prays is not afraid of the future…

“He who prays is not afraid of the future…” November 4, 2021 St. Charles Borromeo Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! Return to prayer because he who prays is not afraid of the future…” (10/25/21) I must admit that there are moments in my day when fear of the future washes over me like a tsunami wave. When I look at the world from my human perspective I am overwhelmed with a sense of futility and vulnerability. And this sense is not wrong. There are no human solutions that can come close to righting this ship! When I woke up this morning, this sense of futility and fear was very strong. And during our early morning Rosary, I tried to keep my heart and mind focused on God. At one point I heard in my heart the words: “ten thousand at my right hand.” I knew it was from Scripture, but I couldn’t remember the citation. So I did a quick search and found it in Psalm 91. As I read Psalm 91, God was able to speak directly to my fear. I knew He was listening to my heart, and that He was directing me through that phrase to His Word, the Word that would rescue me from fear. Here is Psalm 91: Psalm 91 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence; He will cover you with his pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD your refuge, the Most High your habitation, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent. For He will give His angels charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot. Because he cleaves to Me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name. When he calls to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation. Amen! I plan to make this Psalm one of my daily prayers. It carries the anointing of the Lord for me, and surrounds me with His love and protection. May it do the same for you! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! November 3, 2021 Reflection – Return to Prayer!

Return to Prayer November 3, 2021 St. Martin de Porres Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady has used the phrase, “Return to prayer…” only 7 or 8 times in her messages. But when she has said it, it has been in the context of a powerful call. Our Lady knows that for us it is life or death to pray. She wants us to know how crucial it is that we pray, every day, often, in silence and trust. Prayer works miracles. And in these days we can must receive the miraculous intervention of God daily to survive! It is the miraculous intervention of love, of peace, of hope, of truth, of light and of power! We must be filled with the Holy Spirit every day to carry on in this most difficult moment in human history. Here are 6 messages in which Our Lady made it clear that we must return to prayer: February 25, 2016 “Dear children! In this time of grace, I am calling all of you to conversion. Little children, you love little and pray even less. You are lost and do not know what your goal is. Take the cross, look at Jesus and follow Him. He gives Himself to you to the death on the cross, because He loves you. Little children, I am calling you: return to prayer with the heart so as to find hope and the meaning of your existence, in prayer. I am with you and am praying for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 2016 “Dear children! I am looking at you and I see you lost; and you do not have prayer or joy in your heart. Return to prayer, little children, and put God in the first place and not man. Do not lose the hope which I am carrying to you. May this time, little children, every day, be a greater seeking of God in the silence of your heart; and pray, pray, pray until prayer becomes joy for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” November 25, 2016 “Dear children! Also today, I am calling you to return to prayer. In this time of grace, God has permitted me to lead you towards holiness and a simple life – that in little things you discover God the Creator; that you fall in love with Him; and that your life be a thanksgiving to the Most High for everything He is giving you. Little children, in love, may your life be a gift for others and God will bless you; but you, witness without interest – out of love for God. I am with you and intercede before my Son for all of you. Thank you for having responded to my call…” July 25, 2019 “Dear children! My call for you is prayer. May prayer be a joy for you and a wreath which binds you to God. Little children, trials will come and you will not be strong, and sin will reign but, if you are mine, you will win, because your refuge will be the Heart of my Son Jesus. Therefore, little children, return to prayer until prayer becomes life for you in the day and the night. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 25, 2020 “Dear children! I am with you all these years to lead you to the way of salvation. Return to my Son; return to prayer and fasting. Little children, permit God to speak to your heart, because Satan is reigning and wants to destroy your lives and the earth on which you walk. Be courageous and decide for holiness. You will see conversion in your hearts and families; prayer will be heard; God will hear your cries and give you peace. I am with you and am blessing you all with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” October 25, 2021 “Dear children! Return to prayer because he who prays is not afraid of the future; he who prays is open to life and respects the life of others; he who prays, little children, feels the freedom of the children of God and in joy of heart serves for the good for his brother-man. Because God is love and freedom, therefore, little children, when they want to put you in bonds and to use you, it is not from God. Because God loves and gives His peace to every creature; and that is why He sent me to you to help you to grow in holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.”  Return to prayer….
