December 29, 2021 Reflection – Return to prayer…

Return to prayer…   December 29, 2021 Saint Thomas Becket Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! Today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to give you His peace. Little children, without peace you do not have a future or blessing; therefore return to prayer, because the fruit of prayer is joy and faith, without which you cannot live. Today’s blessing which we give you, carry to your families and enrich all those whom you meet, that they may feel the grace which you are receiving. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (December 25, 2021) This message is a loving correction for us as we walk into the future with Our Lady. She is still coming to us every day in Medjugorje. She is with us every day. But she still finds us without peace, without prayer. This is the struggle in which we must persevere. We must struggle to pray. We must fight hard to quiet our souls and pray with our hearts, to give God time to enter into our hearts and minds and speak to us. We must fight for this every day. It is true that even if we pray today with all our hearts, we may not pray the next day at all. We are so easily distracted. And so Our Lady has to call us back to prayer. It is a daily choice to pray. We cannot rely on yesterday’s prayer, because today the battle continues. Our prayer is the weapon in this battle. Our prayer is our daily work for God! May we pray for ourselves and for one another, that we can stay rooted in prayer, grounded in prayer, completely steeped in prayer. May we learn to calm our minds and spirits, and seek time with God every day. May we respect the times for prayer that we have established and learn to set everything else aside so that God can have our attention. We need to pray. We need that time with Our Lord, so that He can speak to us, give us His wisdom and will, show us what is most important for today and follow Him towards His Kingdom. May Our Lady show us how to return to prayer and make a daily choice for prayer from today onward. Mother, please help us to pray, so that we will be filled with joy and faith, and Jesus will give us His peace. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2021
