  “Don’t waste a prayer…” February 4, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Almost every day I wake up pretty early, and find my way to the dining room where I can sit quietly and begin my day with personal prayer. It is always so quiet and gentle to be with Jesus and Mary as I wake up. And a couple of days ago, as I was finishing that prayer, I heard these words in my heart, “Don’t waste a prayer.” It was a gentle, sweet voice. And I only heard it once. But it really stuck with me. Ever since then, I have felt the desire to double down on my prayer. To really concentrate and pray with my whole being. It is not from fear or worry, but from a sense that every prayer now has power! Every prayer is doing something necessary for Our Lady and for the Lord. So, I remember those words: “Don’t waste a prayer…” These five messages carry some of the strength of that little message I received. They communicate the intensity that Our Lady let me feel in that instant. Really, I think that every time Our Lady says, “Pray, pray, pray” she is asking us to pray hard, to pray with conviction, to pray with strength, to not waste a prayer!!! If you pray with strength, if you pray with faith, you will receive graces from this source, and your group will be strengthened.” Thursday, November 17, 1983 (Jelena) “Pray! If I always ask you to pray, do not think that your prayers are not good. But I invite you to prolong your personal prayer, to pray more intensely for the others.” Tuesday, December 27, 1983 (Jelena) “My children, pray, pray, pray. Remember that the most important thing in our lives is prayer.” Tuesday, June 26, 1984 “When I say pray, pray, pray, I do not want to say to only increase the number of hours of prayer, but also to reinforce the desire for prayer, and to be in contact with God. Place yourself permanently in a state of spirit bathed in prayer.” August 25, 1989 “Dear children! I call you to prayer. By means of prayer, little children, you obtain joy and peace. Through prayer you are richer in the mercy of God. Therefore, little children, let prayer be the life of each one of you. Especially I call you to pray so that all those who are far away from God may be converted. Then our hearts shall be richer because God will rule in the hearts of all men.
