March 2, 2022 Reflection – Ash Wednesday

Ukrainian and Russian pilgrims pray for peace in Medjugorje March 2, 2022 Ash Wednesday Dear Family of Mary! Today we begin our Lenten journey. It is a blessed time of prayer, aided by fasting and renunciation, in which we draw closer and closer to Jesus. Our lives are renewed and gain a heavenly focus during these days of prayer, fasting and renunciation. Also, we have been asked by the Holy Father to pray and fast in a special way today. He wrote: “My heart aches greatly at the worsening situation in eastern Ukraine…I would like to appeal to everyone, believers and non-believers alike. Jesus taught us that the diabolical senselessness of violence is answered with God’s weapons, with prayer and fasting. I invite everyone to make the 2nd of March, Ash Wednesday, a Day of Fasting for Peace. I encourage believers in a special way to dedicate themselves intensely to prayer and fasting on that day. May the Queen of Peace preserve the world from the madness of war.” (Pope Francis, February 23, 2022) And Our Lady, the Queen of Peace calls to us: February 25, 2022 “Dear children! I am with you and we pray together. Help me with prayer, little children, that Satan may not prevail. His power of death, hatred, and fear has visited the earth. Therefore, little children, return to God and to prayer, to fasting and to renunciation, for all those who are downtrodden, poor, and have no voice in this world without God. Little children, if you do not return to God and His Commandments, you do not have a future. That is why He sent me to you to guide you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May peace be given to the whole world! Pray, pray, pray!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022 PS. There has been a message that is circulating through social media and through email all around in which it states that Ivan (the visionary) received a message from Our Lady about the spreading of the war around the world. It is not from Ivan. Please do not spread it. Thank you!
