April 1, 2022 Reflection – This lost world…

In this lost world… April 1, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Mother speaks to us: May 25, 2021 “Dear children! Today I am looking at you and calling: return to God because He is love and out of love has sent me to you to lead you on the way of conversion. Leave sin and evil, decide for holiness and joy will begin to reign; and you will be my extended hands in this lost world. I desire that you be prayer and hope to those who have not come to know the God of love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” It really struck me that Our Lady said: “and you will be my extended hands in the lost world…” Every time I read it, my heart thuds a bit. What does she mean by “lost world?” Is it a world already condemned? Is it a world that has become completely disconnected from the Lord? I think not. No one is lost eternally until their judgement. But what does she mean? This story from Luke 19 I think explains it: He entered Jericho and was passing through. And there was a man named Zacchae’us; he was a chief tax collector, and rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not, on account of the crowd, because he was small of stature. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchae’us, make haste and come down; for I must stay at your house today.” So he made haste and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it they all murmured, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” And Zacchae’us stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded any one of anything, I restore it fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:1-10) Zacchae’us was lost. Jesus found him and brought him back. Zacchae’us was lost like the lost sheep in the parable of the Luke 15, that wandered away from the 99 and had to be found by the Shepherd. Zacchae’us was a lost sheep and Jesus the Shepherd found him and carried him home. Our world is lost in that sense. So many of God’s children have lost their way. They have wandered off the path and ended up in a thicket, full of sin and sorrow and confusion and anger, and pain. To be lost from the Shepherd is to be alone and afraid. To be lost from the Shepherd is to be vulnerable to the enemy. That is our world today. So Our Lady has been sent to call us back to her Son, the Shepherd of our souls who can lead us home. And we can help her. If we repent and convert, and follow her, she says: you will be my extended hands in this lost world. In other words, we can help Our Lady to lead other lost sheep back to Jesus, if we follow her on the way of conversion. This lost world may yet find its way back to God. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2022 PS. Here is an update from Mike Nolan on his Pilgrimages for 2022: Hello all! There is plenty of room on the April, June, August, and October pilgrimages to Medjugorje. You do NOT need to be vaccinated to fly, to enter Croatia or Bosnia Hercegovina. Pilgrim-path.com has the dates. I need donations to help priests and pilgrims who can’t afford the trip! Also, I will travel to your parish or prayer group to present on Medjugorje and on the Holy Spirit’s movements exploding in the Church right now! I’m planning a Holy Land pilgrimage in October. Israel has lifted travel restrictions, with only testing needed for entry. Holy Land Oct 19-28 Est cost $3900 (all inclusive) Medjugorje Oct 10-20 Est cost 2800 (all included except lunches) Both destinations are stand alone pilgrimages, but it is possible to do both as one continuous pilgrimage. Est cost of both pilgrimages together is $5200. Please call me to sign up! Jesus bless and keep you! Mike +1-574-335-9952
