May 18, 2022 Reflection – Remain in me, as I remain in you…

Remain in me, as I remain in you… May 17, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus told us to remain in Him. As a branch remains on a vine, we must remain connected to Jesus. It is necessary that we have a vital and life giving relationship with Jesus. In these days after the Resurrection and before the Ascension, Jesus is teaching us how to live in Him, to stay with Him, to love Him, to know Him, to be one with Him. Here is the Gospel for today: Jesus said to his disciples: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and everyone that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me.I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.” (John 15:1-8) Our Lady teaches us how to remain in Jesus in this message: “Dear children! Today, little children, I invite you, through prayer, to be with Jesus, so that through a personal experience of prayer you may be able to discover the beauty of God’s creatures. You cannot speak or witness about prayer, if you do not pray. That is why, little children, in the silence of the heart, remain with Jesus, so that He may change and transform you with His love. This, little children, is a time of grace for you. Make good use of it for your personal conversion, because when you have God, you have everything. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 1998) Thank you, dearest Mother, for teaching us to remain in Jesus!! Help us to grow in our attachment to the vine of life. Prune us so that we will grow well. Attach us to Jesus, through your Motherly teaching and guidance, so that we will not be thrown on the fire and burned. Help us to have silent hearts that have room only for Jesus. Teach us to pray, dearest Mother. Amen In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV Let’s pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Mary!

May 17, 2022 Reflection – Every grace comes through prayer…

Every grace comes through prayer… May 17, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Prayer is the first stone in Our Lady’s program for us. And I would say it is the last stone as well. She cannot imagine our lives without prayer. It is impossible to live without prayer. She told us: “Dear children, you must understand that one has to pray. Prayer is no joke; prayer is a conversation with God. In every prayer you must listen to the voice of God. Without prayer one cannot live. Prayer is life.” (09/11/1984 – Jelena) Again she said: “My children, pray! I say again, pray, because prayer is indispensable to life.”(01/01/1984) Prayer is indispensable to life! Our Lady knows what prayer actually is. She lived by prayer every moment on earth. And now she is with us in our daily lives trying to guide us into that same living prayer! She told us: “Dear children! Today I invite you to respond to my call to prayer. I desire, dear children, that during this time you find a corner for personal prayer. I desire to lead you towards prayer with the heart. Only in this way will you comprehend that your life is empty without prayer. You will discover the meaning of your life when you discover God in prayer. That is why, little children, open the door of your heart and you will comprehend that prayer is joy without which you cannot live. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 1997) Our Lady tells us that our lives are empty without prayer. I am sure we all know it! But still it is easy to let prayer slip. Denis discovered something that St. Faustina wrote about prayer that has really impressed us both. Here is what she wrote about prayer: “A soul arms itself by prayer for all sorts of combat. In whatever state the soul may be, it ought to pray. A soul which is pure and beautiful must pray, or else it will lose its beauty; a soul which is striving after this purity must pray, or else it will never attain it; a soul which is newly converted must pray, or else it will fall again; a sinful soul, plunged in sins, must pray so that it might rise again. There is no soul which is not bound to pray, for every single grace comes to the soul through prayer.” (Diary entry 146) Truly there is not one moment of our lives that does not require prayer. Not one situation, not one state of soul, not one joy or sorrow that does not need prayer. Only prayer can see us through to Heaven. As St. Faustina wrote: “Every single grace comes to the soul through prayer!” Thank you, Dearest Mother, for teaching us to pray!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
