In your heart a desire for Heaven will be born. August 10, 2024 St. Lawrence Dear Family of Mary! Today is Day 4 of our little novena before the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Our Lady tells us today that we must “Pray, pray, pray!” She has often asked us to pray, pray, pray, because she realizes how sluggish we can be. She wants us to really understand that prayer is essential, especially where Heaven is concerned: August 25, 2006 “Dear children! Also today I call you to pray, pray, pray. Only in prayer will you be near to me and my Son and you will see how short this life is. In your heart a desire for Heaven will be born. Joy will begin to rule in your heart and prayer will begin to flow like a river. In your words there will only be thanksgiving to God for having created you and the desire for holiness will become a reality for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we try to live out Our Lady’s call to increase our prayer. It may be hard at first, but soon it becomes “Heaven”!!!! Dearest Mother Mary, we know that you were assumed into Heaven, body and soul, to be with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and all the Heavenly Host, for eternity. From Heaven, you come to us now, every day, in Medjugorje! You bring Heaven with you, and we all have felt it. We want to do everything we can to prepare for Heaven. We will listen to your words with our hearts, and respond as best we can. Thank you, dearest Mother, for being with us in Medjugorje! Amen, Alleluia!
