The Holy Mass on the last night of the Youth Festival! August 8, 2025 Youth Festival, Day 5 Dear Family of Mary! The Evening Mass for the last night of the Medjugorje Youth Festival was very moving. The atmosphere of worship and praise of God was intense and moving. The whole assembly had been well prepared to pray! This picture above gives us an idea of the vast number of people who were gathered together to worship Jesus, in the dark of night! No one wanted to leave. But they all knew that during the night they would be awakened to climb Cross Mountain, in order to reach the top at dawn, when Holy Mass would be celebrated!! This is the way each Youth Festival ends. A night of worship and adoration of Jesus, followed by a treck up Cross Mountain for Holy Mass at dawn! What a precious time this is for the young people. Our Lady says to us: July 2, 2009 “Dear children! I am calling you because I need you. I need hearts ready for immeasurable love. Hearts that are not burdened by vanity. Hearts that are ready to love as my Son loved, that are ready to sacrifice themselves as my Son sacrificed Himself. I need you. In order to come with me, forgive yourselves, forgive others and adore my Son. Adore Him also for those who have not come to know Him, those who do not love Him… Therefore, I need you. Therefore, I call you. Thank you.” Mother Mary needs us to be her children who follow her with complete trust and love. She needs us to be listening with our hearts to her call to us. If we do not listen, who will? We need to be her apostles of love, her dear children who are ready to help her to gather souls for heaven. May we respond to her call! May we say yes to her!
