December 31, 2025 Reflection – Take the saints as an example!
Blessed New Year!! December 31, 2025 New Year’s Eve Dear Family of Mary! Today is the last day of 2025! It has been an eventful year, filled with challenges and difficulties. The struggle between good and evil increases. But we are blessed because we are staying near to Our Blessed Mother, Mary! She wraps us in her mantle, and guides us along peaceful paths. As part of her guidance Our Lady has encouraged us to have a relationship with the saints. Here is a message in which she advises us to take the saints as an example: October 25, 1994 “Dear children! I am with you and I rejoice today because the Most High has granted me to be with you and to teach you and to guide you on the path of perfection. Little children, I wish you to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers which I wish to present to God for the day of All Saints. I invite you to open yourselves and to live, taking the saints as an example. Mother Church has chosen them, that they may be an impulse for your daily life. Thank you for having responded to my call!” Over the years, a tradition has grown amongst us, to choose a saint to be our guide for the New Year! It is always good to start the New Year out with some good intentions, and increased devotion. Asking a saint to choose us, and praying to and with that saint for the year is a good way to do just that! We have a saints list, which our shipmate, Stephanie, has been working on, with new additions!
