I am your mother, the Queen of Peace. August 17, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! This week we will be preparing for the amazing and wonderful Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary! It is easy to overlook this Holy Day because it comes only one week after the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary! The Assumption is very amazing. We can visualize it and we realize what a big deal it is!! Our Lady was taken up into heaven, body and soul, to live forever with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and all the holy ones!! Wow! But this holy day, the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is harder to imagine and understand. Mary, after her entire life on earth, having fulfilled all of God’s commands and plans for her, seeing her Son, Jesus, die a brutal death and then rise again and be taken into Heaven, is finally taken up to Heaven herself, body and soul, there to live forever! Bravo! But there is one last step to be taken, that of becoming the Queen of Heaven and Earth at the right hand of her Son. Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth, now reigns at the right hand of her Son, over all creation and beyond. She is our Queen!! And we are so very blessed to be Her children! This week, I will quote some of Our Lady’s messages about her queenship so we can listen to her. And as an act of love we can pray this Litany of Mary, Queen! We can pray it each day in preparation for the Holy Day of The Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Hopefully our hearts will widen to the reality of the Royal Dignity of Our Mother, Mary!! Here is an early message in which Our Lady spoke of herself as a Queen: July 25, 1988 “Dear children! Today I am calling you to a complete surrender to God. Everything you do and everything you possess give over to God so that He can take control in your life as the King of all that you possess. That way, through me, God can lead you into the depths of the spiritual life. Little children, do not be afraid, because I am with you even if you think there is no way out and that satan is in control. I am bringing peace to you. I am your mother, the Queen of Peace. I am blessing you with the blessings of joy so that for you God may be everything in your life… Thank you for having responded to my call.” It is very hard to imagine that we are children of such a Queen!! The Queen of Peace is Our Mother!! Let’s use this week as a time to draw close to Our Mother, to speak to her, to listen to her, especially through the Scriptures and the Messages, and to love her through our prayer. Full of grace, pray for us. Fountain of beauty, pray for us. Model of virtue, pray for us. First fruit of the Redemption, pray for us. Perfect disciple of Christ, pray for us. Untarnished image of the Church, pray for us. Woman transformed, pray for us. Woman clothed with the sun, pray for us. Woman crowned with stars, pray for us. Gentle Lady, pray for us. Gracious Lady, pray for us. Our Lady, pray for us. Joy of Israel, pray for us. Splendor of the Church, pray for us. Pride of the human race, pray for us. Advocate of grace, pray for us. Minister of holiness, pray for us. Champion of God’s people, pray for us. Queen of love, pray for us. Queen of mercy, pray for us. Queen of peace, pray for us. Queen of Angels, pray for us. Queen of Patriarchs and Prophets, pray for us. Queen of Apostles and Martyrs, pray for us. Queen of Confessors and Virgins, pray for us. Queen of all Saints, pray for us. Queen conceived without Original Sin, pray for us. Queen assumed into Heaven, pray for us. Queen of all the earth, pray for us. Queen of Heaven, pray for us. Queen of the universe, pray for us.
