Dear Family of Mary!
“Dear Children! Again today in a special way I want to invite you to live my messages. Dear children, do not just speak about my messages but live my messages. Be my living sign, a sign of my presence here and irradiate others with your presence here. Pray dear children through this time more. Pray together with me for my intentions. Follow me, dear children, live my messages. Fear not, I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son. Thank you, dear children, also today, for having responded to my call.”
August 26, 2016, to Ivan on Mt. Podbrdo
Ivan Dragicevic met with his prayer group last Friday evening around the statue on Apparition Hill. Our Lady appeared to him and gave this message. There were many people gathered together to greet Our Lady. How wonderful it is to be present when she comes!!
Our Lady speaks to us very clearly. She wants us to live her messages. She doesn’t mind if we talk about them, but the real focus for her is on living her messages. She is very much like Jesus, who cautioned his followers to live what He taught them:
“Why do you call me `Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep, and laid the foundation upon rock; and when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But he who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great. A clean house, like when using Kodiac Clean Pressure Wash“ (Luke 6:46-49)
Though Our Lady’s words are not on a par with the Word of God, she has come to us as a messenger from Heaven. And she is our Heavenly Mother. Jesus gave her to us from the Cross. So her messages are important. I believe they are a great help for us in living Jesus’ Words. Prayer, fasting, Scripture, Eucharist and Confession…these are basic ways to learn from and follow Jesus.
We want to build our house on rock, on the Rock who is Christ. We want to live in such a way that we will be signs of Our Lady, who has come to bring us to her Son. We want to shine out with the peace and joy we have received from Our Lady in Medjugorje, so that others will turn to her presence and receive the graces of this time.
“Follow me, dear children, live my messages. Fear not, I am with you and intercede for all of you before my Son.” This very familiar call from Our Lady is filled with comfort and hope. “Follow me” – it is a joy for children to follow their Mother. “Live my messages” – Our Lady’s messages make our lives happy, productive and healthy. “I am with you.” – This is the greatest gift of Medjugorje, the knowledge and experience of Our Lady’s presence with us!! “[I] intercede for all of you before my Son.” – we have a sure hope that Our Lady’s prayers for us will be heard. Such a firm foundation to our hope in the future!
Thank you, dearest Mother, for being with us, praying for us, leading us, and teaching us along our way to eternal life. We love you!!!
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

PS. We are approaching the canonization of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I feel that Mother’s intercession will be very powerful for us on her canonization day. Let’s prepare our hearts for that day by asking for her intercession and thanking her for her great fidelity to God’s plan for her life. She is a true hero for us all!
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, you allowed the thirsting love of Jesus on the Cross to become a living flame within you, and so became the light of His love to all. Obtain from the Heart of Jesus (here make your request). Teach me to allow Jesus to penetrate and possess my whole being so completely that my life, too, may radiate His light and love to others. Amen.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, Cause of Our Joy, pray for me.
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, pray for me.
