Dear Family of Mary!

Here again is the October 25, 2022 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace of Medjugorje!

Dear children! The Most High permits me to be with you, and to be joy for you and the way in hope, because mankind has decided for death. That is why He sent me to keep instructing you that without God you do not have a future. Little children, be instruments of love for all those who have not come to know the God of love. Witness joyfully your faith and do not lose hope in a change of the human heart. I am with you and am blessing you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call. (October 25, 2022)

“Dear children! The Most High permits me to be with you, and to be joy for you and the way in hope, because mankind has decided for death.”

When I first read this message, I was startled!  My focus was on the last part of the first sentence, “because mankind has decided for death…”  Somehow I felt that that decision was just made, and it had dire and irreconcilable consequences.  We had finally crossed the line.

But, as I sat back, prayed and reread the message I felt that I was putting the emphasis on the wrong part of the sentence – “Because mankind has decided for death…” But this is not a new decision!  Mankind has been deciding for death since the Garden of Eden.  Now it seems that the amount of evil we can do as we choose death has increased, as our technology has increased.  But the choice is essentially the same.  Mankind is in rebellion against God and life, unless by the grace of God we are converted.

But the exciting and new part of that sentence is the first part:  Dear children! The Most High permits me to be with you, and to be joy for you and the way in hope…”  Our Lady’s presence with us is something incredibly new and wonderful!!  We don’t need to remain on the path of death.  She is with us!  She is our Joy!!  And she is the Way of Hope!!  We are on the most marvelous way with Our Lady!

The decision for death has been a long standing choice for mankind, for those who reject God choose death.  Our enemy, satan, has confused us and tricked us away from God since the Garden of Eden.  He won’t stop.  But Our Lady is stronger than our enemy, and she will prevail in this battle for souls.  May we follow the one who is with us, who is joy for us, and is leading us on the way of hope!!!
