Dear Family of Mary!
“Dear children! Today, I am calling you to a new life. It is not important how old you are, open your heart to Jesus who will transform you in this time of grace and, like nature, you will be born into a new life in God’s love, and you will open your heart to Heaven and the things of Heaven. I am still with you, because God permitted me out of love for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (February 25, 2019)
We, the living on earth, have not seen heaven. We have no clue what it must be like in heaven. Some people have glimpses of heaven in near death experiences. But these glimpses, as thrilling as they seem, cannot communicate to us the fullness of heaven. We can only hope for heaven, work towards heaven, desire heaven, and receive Jesus, the One who will bring us to heaven if we open our hearts to Him. But Our Lady says that the more we live with Jesus in an intimate communion, the more we will open our hearts to Heaven and the things of Heaven. Jesus IS HEAVEN! So, the more we live with Him in our hearts the closer we will be to Heaven.
Here is what the Catechism tells us about heaven. It might be something to chew on!!
Catechism of the Catholic Church, Part One, Section Two, Article 12, N 1023 – 1029:
1024 This perfect life with the Most Holy Trinity – this communion of life and love with the Trinity, with the Virgin Mary, the angels and all the blessed – is called “heaven.” Heaven is the ultimate end and fulfillment of the deepest human longings, the state of supreme, definitive happiness.
For life is to be with Christ; where Christ is, there is life, there is the kingdom.602
1026 By his death and Resurrection, Jesus Christ has “opened” heaven to us. The life of the blessed consists in the full and perfect possession of the fruits of the redemption accomplished by Christ. He makes partners in his heavenly glorification those who have believed in him and remained faithful to his will. Heaven is the blessed community of all who are perfectly incorporated into Christ
1028 Because of his transcendence, God cannot be seen as he is, unless he himself opens up his mystery to man’s immediate contemplation and gives him the capacity for it. The Church calls this contemplation of God in his heavenly glory “the beatific vision”:
How great will your glory and happiness be, to be allowed to see God, to be honored with sharing the joy of salvation and eternal light with Christ your Lord and God, . . . to delight in the joy of immortality in the Kingdom of heaven with the righteous and God’s friends.604
1029 In the glory of heaven the blessed continue joyfully to fulfill God’s will in relation to other men and to all creation. Already they reign with Christ; with him “they shall reign for ever and ever.”605

May we open our hearts to Jesus, and allow Him to bring Heaven to us! He wants very much to do so!
