O Come, O Come, great Lord of Might…
December 18, 2021
Dear Family of Mary!
Novena for Christmas, Day 4
O come, O come, great Lord of might,
Who to thy tribes on Sinai’s height
In ancient times once gave the law
In cloud and majesty and awe.
Rejoice, Rejoice! Emmanuel
shall come to thee, O Israel!
December 25, 2015 “Dear children! Also today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you and from this embrace I am giving you His peace and a longing for Heaven. I am praying with you for peace and am calling you to be peace… I am blessing all of you with my motherly blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
Our Lady repeated the word “peace” 5 times in this short message from 2015. Nothing was more pressing to her than peace.
She said something amazing to us. She was carrying her Son Jesus to us. The King of the Universe was being carried by a woman, His Mother. He was docile and at home in her arms. She navigated the way from Heaven to Medjugorje, with little Jesus in her arms. This is something we cannot explain.
But then she said that “from this embrace I am giving you His peace and a longing for Heaven.” The grace that was pouring out came from Jesus and Mary together, embracing one another as mother and son. Their relationship was part of that peace!!
But the grace was given by Our Lady, she was in charge of this visit. She carried Jesus, and she imparted the grace! And what was the grace? That we would receive Jesus’ peace and a longing for Heaven. With that peace of Jesus and a heart that longs for Heaven, we would be prepared for the journey of life, able to find our way to God.
This is the power of the Baby Jesus. And this is the power of His Mother!! This is the grace that Our Lady wants to give us still today. Her messages are for now as well!
So today let’s pray this Litany of the Infant Jesus. I think it is anointed for this time we are living. Little Infant Jesus, please continue to give us your peace and a longing for Heaven!

LET US PRAY
O Lord Jesus, Who allowed the greatness of Thy incarnate divinity and most sacred humanity to be born in time, to become a little child, and to suffer bitter death, grant that we may acknowledge infinite wisdom in the silence of a child, power in weakness, majesty in abasement, so that adoring Thy humility and littleness on earth we may contemplate Thy glories in Heaven. We ask this of Thee, who, with the Father and the Holy Ghost, lives and reigns God, forever and ever. Amen
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
