You are chosen to be witnesses of hope! January 21, 2026 St. Agnes Dear Family of Mary! Here is another message in which Our Lady tells us that we are chosen! She has watched the whole process! By God’s grace, the help of our guardian angel, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we have been called to Medjugorje! Some of us have been there, and some of us are connected through the internet! But for all of us, our hearts are there with our Blessed Mother and we have received the good news! We have been called and chosen to be connected to Our Lady in Medjugorje!! It is a miracle of grace, and a joy for our hearts! To have such a Mother…well it is a heavenly blessing. In this message Our Lady tells us we are chosen to be witnesses of hope in every situation: December 25, 2020 “Dear children! I am carrying to you little Jesus who brings you peace, Him who is the past, present and future of your existence. Little children, do not permit for your faith and hope in a better future to be extinguished, because you are chosen to be witnesses of hope in every situation. That is why I am here with Jesus that He may bless you with His peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.”  We who have experienced the love of Our Lady have the opportunity to witness to others about that love! My dear children, I have chosen you! January 20, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady tells us that she has chosen us! We may think that we are the ones who have chosen her! But it seems that she chose us first: July 25, 2024 “My dear children, with joy I have chosen you and am leading you, because in you, little children, I see people of faith, hope and prayer. May you, little children, be led by the pride that you are mine, and I am leading you to Him, Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. And I am with you so that peace may win in you and around you, because it is with this intention God sent me to you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” It is a great comfort to know that Our Lady has chosen each one of us! She loves each one of us very much, and has need of us! Of course we also have chosen her, because if we didn’t feel that call to come to know her, we would not be responding to her call. Isn’t it wonderful!! She chose us, and then we chose her!! And now we are together in this great plan from God to lead many people to her Son!! This is something to pray about!! Live fasting with an open heart. January 19, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! As we move forward in the New Year, I feel strongly we need to get back to basics. One of those basics is fasting. Our Lady has excouraged us to fast from the very beginning of her apparitions in Medjugorje. She emphasizes that fasting is an integral part of our Christian life! Fasting empowers our prayers. Fasting helps us to face our own sinfulness and change our lives. Fasting helps us to grow in humility and love. But fasting is not easy. We each need to prayerfully introduce fasting according to our situations. But it is very important to commit to fasting, no matter what, because Our Lady advises it! Here are some messages in which She calls us to fast. Maybe her words will help us to begin to fast anew, or to conitnue to fast as we have been!! Many miracles await us if we fast. July 25, 1991 “Dear Children! Today I invite you to pray for peace. At this time peace is being threatened in a special way, and I am seeking from you to renew fasting and prayer in your families. Dear children, I desire you to grasp the seriousness of the situation and that much of what will happen depends on your prayers and you are praying a little bit. Dear children, I am with you and I am inviting you to begin to pray and fast seriously as in the first days of my coming. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 25, 1998 “Dear children! Also today I call you to fasting and renunciation. Little children, renounce that which hinders you from being closer to Jesus. In a special way I call you: Pray, because only through prayer will you be able to overcome your will and discover the will of God even in the smallest things. By your daily life, little children, you will become an example and witness that you live for Jesus or against Him and His will. Little children, I desire that you become apostles of love. By loving, little children, it will be recognized that you are mine. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 2001 “Dear children! Today I call you to renew prayer and fasting with even greater enthusiasm until prayer becomes a joy for you. Little children, the one who prays is not afraid of the future and the one who fasts is not afraid of evil. Once again, I repeat to you: only through prayer and fasting also wars can be stopped – wars of your unbelief and fear for the future. I am with you and am teaching you little children: your peace and hope are in God. That is why draw closer to God and put Him in the first place in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 2005 “Dear children! Also today, I call you to fill your day with short and ardent prayers. When you pray, your heart is open and God loves you with a special love and gives you special graces. Therefore, make good use of this time of grace and devote it to God more than ever up to now. Do novenas of fasting and renunciation so that satan be far from you and grace be around you. I am near you and intercede before God for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 25, 2007 “Dear children! I desire to thank you from my heart for your Lenten renunciations. I desire to inspire you to continue to live fasting with an open heart. By fasting and renunciation, little children, you will be stronger in faith. In God you will find true peace through daily prayer. I am with you and I am not tired. I desire to take you all with me to Heaven, therefore, decide daily for holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Thank you for responding to this call from Our Lady. Our world today is filled with tensions and confrontations. The fruit of love is forgiveness.  January 16, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady has spoken strongly about the need to forgive. I find forgiveness to be a very difficult act. Maybe we all do. Here is a message in which Our Lady calls us to forgive: January 25, 1996  “Dear Children! Today I invite you to decide for peace. Pray that God give you the true peace. Live peace in your hearts and you will understand, dear children, that peace is the gift of God. Dear children, without love you cannot live peace. The fruit of peace is love and the fruit of love is forgiveness. I am with you and I invite all of you, little children, that before all else forgive in the family and then you will be able to forgive others. Thank you for having responded to my call.” There is so much truth in this message!!! Peace: Peace is not just a feeling, it is a decision! Decide for peace!! Peace is not something we can create ourselves, it is a gift from God! Peace cannot exist in us if we do not love!! Peace actually springs from love!! It is a fruit, a consequence of love! And the consequence (the fruit) of love is FORGIVENESS!! Forgiveness is a precious fruit of love. Forgiveness gives new life to those we forgive. Forgiveness rejuvenates our live even in the act of forgiving. And forgiveness can free those we forgive from shame and fear, and open their lives to God’s love as well!! We learn to forgive first of all in the family, and from that experience of forgiveness we are more able to forgive others. Forgiveness is a choice that comes from our choice to love! The world needs our forgiveness. Every act of forgiveness opens up the possibility of healing and conversion for others. This is a very difficult call. It is one Our Lady wants us to answer freely. Mother, help us to decide for peace. Show us the way to that decision. Give us hearts for peace, which means hearts that forgive. May we follow you. You show us the way to forgiveness by your life on earth. You forgave those who killed Jesus, you forgave the apostles who ran away at the crucifixion. You forgive us when we let you down. Heal me, Oh Lord! January 15, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! July 2, 2014  “Dear children, I, the mother of all of you gathered here and the mother of the entire world, am blessing you with a motherly blessing and call you to set out on the way of humility. That way leads to the coming to know the love of my Son. My Son is almighty, He is in everything. If you, my children, do not become cognizant of this, then darkness/blindness rule in your soul. Only humility can heal you. My children, I always lived humbly, courageously and in hope. I knew, I became cognizant that God is in us and we are in God. I am asking the same of you. I desire for all of you to be with me in eternity, because you are a part of me. I will help you on your way. My love will envelop you like a mantle and make of you apostles of my light – of God’s light. With the love that comes forth from humility you will bring light to where darkness/blindness rule. You will be bringing my Son who is the light of the world. Speak Lord, for your servant is listening! January 14, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! Again today, we have an amazing reading from the Old Testament. It is about Hannah’s little boy, Samuel, who was serving in the temple under Eli. Hannah was the woman who was barren and prayed with all her heart for a child. Samuel was the child she received! And in this reading, the Lord began to speak to Samuel, but the little boy had no idea who was speaking. Here is the account: Samuel 3:1-10, 19-20: During the time young Samuel was minister to the Lord under Eli, a revelation of the Lord was uncommon and vision infrequent. One day Eli was asleep in his usual place. His eyes had lately grown so weak that he could not see. The lamp of God was not yet extinguished, and Samuel was sleeping in the temple of the Lord where the ark of God was. The Lord called to Samuel, who answered, “Here I am.” Samuel ran to Eli and said, “Here I am. You called me.” “I did not call you,” Eli said. “Go back to sleep.” So he went back to sleep. Again the Lord called Samuel, who rose and went to Eli. “Here I am,” he said. “You called me.” But Eli answered, “I did not call you, my son. Go back to sleep.” At that time Samuel was not familiar with the Lord, because the Lord had not revealed anything to him as yet. The Lord called Samuel again, for the third time. Getting up and going to Eli, he said, “Here I am. You called me.” Then Eli understood that the Lord was calling the youth. So Eli said to Samuel, “Go to sleep, and if you are called, reply, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” When Samuel went to sleep in his place, the Lord came and revealed his presence, calling out as before, “Samuel, Samuel!” Samuel answered, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” Samuel grew up, and the Lord was with him, not permitting any word of his to be without effect. Thus all Israel from Dan to Beersheba came to know that Samuel was an accredited prophet of the Lord. The word of the Lord. The Lord began to speak to Samuel in his heart, but Samuel had no idea who was speaking!! It took the guidance of Eli to make it clear to Samuel that it was the Lord! Most of us have prayed our whole life long and have not ever expected the Lord would speak to us. But I think we should expect it. In this message which Our Lady gave to Mirjana in 2016, Our Lady encourages us to listen for the voice of Jesus in our hearts. She wants us to recognize the voice of Jesus and follow Him. Here is the message: October 2, 2016  “Dear children, the Holy Spirit, according to the Heavenly Father, made me the mother – the mother of Jesus – and by this alone, also your mother. That is why I am coming to hear you, that I may open my motherly arms to you; to give you my heart and to call you to remain with me, because from the top of the cross my Son entrusted you to me. Unfortunately, many of my children have not come to know the love of my Son; many of them do not want to come to know Him. Oh, my children, how much bad is done by those who must see or interpret in order to come to believe. That is why, you, my children, my apostles, in the silence of your heart, listen to the voice of my Son, so that your heart may be His home, that it may not be dark and sad, but that it may be illuminated with the light of my Son. Seek hope with faith, because faith is the life of the soul. Anew I am calling you: pray, pray to live faith in humility, in spiritual peace, and illuminated by the light. My children, do not strive to comprehend everything immediately, because I also did not comprehend everything immediately; but I loved, and I believed in the divine words which my Son spoke – He who was the first light and the beginning of redemption. Apostles of my love – you who pray, sacrifice yourselves, love and do not judge – you go and spread the truth, the words of my Son, the Gospel, because you are the living Gospel; you are the rays of the light of my Son. My Son and I will be with you to encourage you and to test you. My children, always implore the blessing of those, and only of those whose hands have been blessed by my Son, of your shepherds. Thank you. There is so much in this message, but I believe she truly wants us to take her advice about hearing the voice of Jesus. I believe that Jesus wants to speak to us, but we just don’t listen. We are not quiet enough inside to let Him speak! And we don’t believe that He will speak to us. Personally!! “That is why, you, my children, my apostles, in the silence of your heart, listen to the voice of my Son, so that your heart may be His home, that it may not be dark and sad, but that it may be illuminated with the light of my Son.” May we be like Samuel, and respond to the voice of Jesus like he did, saying: “Speak, for your servant is listening.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! My soul magnifies the Lord! January 13, 2026 Saint Hilary Dear Family of Mary! In the first book of Samuel, we hear the amazing story of Hannah, the second wife of Elkanah! She was very beloved of her husband, but could not conceive a child. In desparation she went to Eli, the prophet at Shiloh. There she begged the Lord for a child. And Eli prophesied thad she would indeed bear a child. When Hannah returned home, she did conceive and she bore a son, named Samuel. And she fulfilled a vow she had made, taking the boy to Eli, and leaving him there to serve the Lord. This Samuel became a great prophet for Israel. This event is a precursor for the incredible conceptions of John the Baptist by Elizabeth, and the Immaculate Conception of our Lord Jesus Christ by Mary. God works in amazing ways!! And our faith stands on these miraculous events. Here is the song of praise that Hannah sang to the Lord for the gift of Samuel: 1Sam.2 Hannah also prayed and said, “My heart exults in the LORD; my strength is exalted in the LORD. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in thy salvation. “There is none holy like the LORD, there is none besides thee; there is no rock like our God. Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble gird on strength. Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger. The barren has borne seven, but she who has many children is forlorn. The LORD kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich; he brings low, he also exalts. He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and on them he has set the world. “He will guard the feet of his faithful ones; but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness; for not by might shall a man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; against them he will thunder in heaven. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth; he will give strength to his king, and exalt the power of his anointed.” Then Elka’nah went home to Ramah. And the boy ministered to the LORD, in the presence of Eli the priest. And of course, Our Lady sang her absolutely beautiful song of praise to God for Jesus, her Divine Son: Luke 1:46 to 55! And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away. He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever.” Both Hannah and Mary experienced the incredible power and love of God. Mary, of course, was raised up to the highest degree as the Mother of God! But she always remained a humble handmaiden of the Lord. And we are the grateful recipients of her glorius Motherhood! And she longs for us to realize that we are her children as well! Through Jesus’ total gift of Himself in His life, death and resurrection, we are given the grace to become Children of God! Our Lady has asked us to realize our call to become children of God in this message: December 25, 2021 – Jakov “Dear children, you are, and you are called, ‘children of God’. If only your hearts would feel that immeasurable love which God has for you, your hearts would adore and give thanks to Him at every instant of your life. Therefore, little children, today, on this day of grace, open your hearts and implore the Lord for the gift of faith; so that you could truly become worthy of the name ‘children of God’ who, with a pure heart, give thanks to and honor their Heavenly Father. I am beside you and am blessing you with my motherly blessing.” May we cherish the gift of adoption as sons and daughters of God, and every day give thanks to God for drawing us to Himself, through Jesus and through Mary! Anew I call you to follow me with joy. January 12, 2026 First Week in Ordinary Time Dear Family of Mary! Mark 1:14-20 After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of God: “This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel.” As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Then they left their nets and followed him. He walked along a little farther and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They too were in a boat mending their nets. Then he called them. So they left their father Zebedee in the boat along with the hired men and followed him.   The Gospel of the Lord. Jesus begins his public ministry in our Gospel for today. He calls to Simon and Andrew, and to James and John, “Come after me!” And they followed. Following is part of our Christian life. We follow Jesus through the Gospels we read each day. We follow Jesus through our Holy Mother Church, who shows us the path of Jesus. We follow because we do not know the way! But we are not alone, there is always help from the Holy Spirit, and Mother Mary! We are blessed to be able to follow. It is a gift to be led, to be shown the way. Our Lady has extended her Motherly hand to us, encouraging us to follow her in these days. We certainly need her guiding, because the world has become exceedingly stormy and dangerous. God’s ways have been rejected by many. That may be why the Father has sent Our Lady to us in Medjugorje. He knew we would need to be led safely through these times by Our Mother! Here are some messages in which Mary, our Mother has called us to follow her: May 2, 2005 “Dear children, I am with you that I can take you all to my Son. I wish to lead you all to salvation. Follow me, because in just this way you will find true peace and happiness. My little children come with me!” April 2, 2006 “Dear Children, I am coming to you because, with my own example, I wish to show you the importance of prayer for those who have not come to know the love of God. You ask yourself if you are following me? My children, do you not recognize the signs of the times? Do you not speak of them? Come follow me. As a mother I call you. Thank you for having responded.” June 25, 2008 “Dear children! Also today, with great joy in my heart, I call you to follow me and to listen to my messages. Be joyful carriers of peace and love in this peaceless world. I am with you and I bless you all with my Son Jesus, the King of Peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 2010 “Dear children! Anew I call you to follow me with joy. I desire to lead all of you to my Son, your Savior. You are not aware that without Him you do not have joy and peace, nor a future or eternal life. Therefore, little children, make good use of this time of joyful prayer and surrender. Thank you for having responded to my call.” November 25, 2025 “Dear children! In this time of grace, I am calling you to follow me. Pray for those who do not pray and do not want peace and joy, which only the Most High can give. May your souls be united in the joy of expectancy and your heart will be filled with peace. You will be convinced, little children, that all will be good and that God will bless all; because the good that you give will return to you, and joy will enfold your heart because you are with God and in God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (With ecclesiastical approval) As we begin our walk through Ordinary Time, may we be guided by Our Mother Mary, who has called us to follow Her. I call on you to read the Bible every day! January 9, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady loves the Bible. She has called us to read it every day! She knows that we need to have the Word of God in our hearts to protect us from the evil insinuations of the devil, and to be a light for our minds and hearts. It isn’t too hard to find time to read a passage from Scripture. But we need to set a time aside for it. Morning is a good time to plant a scripture in our minds where it can rumble about all day. God’s word is powerful! Let this be a New Years Resolution!! Here are five messages about reading the Bible that will help us to solidify the habit in our lives: October 18, 1984 “Dear children! Today I call on you to read the Bible every day in your homes and let it be in a visible place so as always to encourage you to read it and to pray. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 1996 “Dear children! Today I am with you in a special way, holding little Jesus in my lap and I invite you, little children, to open yourselves to His call. He calls you to joy. Little children, joyfully live the messages of the Gospel, which I am repeating in the time since I am with you. Little children, I am your Mother and I desire to reveal to you the God of love and the God of peace. I do not desire for your life to be in sadness but that it be realized in joy for eternity, according to the Gospel. Only in this way will your life have meaning. Thank you for having responded to my call. January 25, 2006 “Dear children! Also today I call you to be carriers of the Gospel in your families. Do not forget, little children, to read Sacred Scripture. Put it in a visible place and witness with your life that you believe and live the Word of God. I am close to you with my love and intercede before my Son for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”  March 18, 2021 “Dear children, in a motherly way I am calling you to return to the joy and the truth of the Gospel, to return to the love of my Son – because He is waiting for you with open arms; that everything you do in life you do with my Son, with love; that it may be blessed for you; so that your spirituality may be internal, and not just external. Only in that way will you be humble, generous, filled with love and joyful; and my motherly heart will rejoice with you. Thank you.” Sunday, October 30, 1983 To Jelena: “Why do you not put your trust in me? I know that you have been praying for a long time, but really, surrender yourself. Abandon your concerns to Jesus. Listen to what He says in the Gospel: And who among you, through his anxiety, is able to add a single cubit, to the length of his life’ (Mt. 6:27). Pray also, in the evening when you have finished your day. Sit down in your room, and say to Jesus: ‘Thank you.’ If in the evening you fall asleep in peace, and in prayer, in the morning you will wake up thinking of Jesus. You will then be able to pray for peace, but if you fall asleep in distraction, the day after will be misty, and you will forget even to pray that day.” Have a beautiful weekend, and let God’s word light up your soul!!! God loves you immeasurably!   January 8, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! At Mass we continue to read from St. John’s 1st Epistle. In it he tell us: “Beloved, we love God because he first loved us.” 1John 4:19 We have never existed without love. From the moment of our conception we have been loved by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Even before our conception we were in the Father’s heart! If we think about that, we will be overwhelmed with the love that surrounds us. We are not accidents. We are not mistakes. We are not random. No, we are meant by God, and loved by God!! Our Lady tries to communicate the love of God for us in her messages. It is very important that we comprehend that love. She told us: December 25, 2018 The apparition began at 1:38 pm and lasted 9 minutes. Our Lady came with little Jesus in her arms. Through Jakov, Our Lady gave the following message: “Dear children, on this day of grace, I am calling you to love. Little children, God loves you immeasurably and that is why, little children, full of trust and without looking back and without fear, completely surrender your hearts to Him so that God may fill them with His love. Do not be afraid to believe in His love and mercy, because His love is stronger than every one of your weaknesses and fears. Therefore, my children, full of love in your hearts, trust in Jesus and say your ‘yes’ to Him, because He is the only way which leads you to the Eternal Father.” (12/25/2018) It does seem that we are prone to fear. We live in a world that generates a great deal of fear, especially in our modern day of mass communications which far too often are driven by powers that want us to be fearful and docile to them. Fear is not of God. Our Lady tells us : “Do not be afraid to believe in His love and mercy, because His love is stronger than every one of your weaknesses and fears.” She has been sent to us in this day to deliver us from all the fear and doubt that our enemy has constructed around us. She has come to reveal to us the Heart of our God which is all love, only love. “Therefore, my children, full of love in your hearts, trust in Jesus and say your ‘yes’ to Him, because He is the only way which leads you to the Eternal Father.” This is our future.
