July 18, 2022 Reflection – Dear children, I love you all!

Dear children, I love you all…   July 18, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! September 2, 2013 “Dear children, I love you all. All of you, all of my children, all of you are in my heart. All of you have my motherly love, and I desire to lead all of you to come to know God’s joy. This is why I am calling you. I need humble apostles who, with an open heart, will accept the Word of God and help others to comprehend the meaning of their life along side God’s word. To be able to do this my children, through prayer and fasting, you must learn to listen with the heart and to learn to keep submitting yourselves. You must learn to keep rejecting everything that distances you from God’s word and to yearn only for that which draws you closer to it. Do not be afraid. I am here. You are not alone. I am imploring the Holy Spirit to renew and strengthen you. I am imploring the Holy Spirit that, as you help others, you too may be healed. I am imploring Him that, through Him, you may be God’s children and my apostles.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2022

July 15, 2022 Reflection – Sacred Host – Sacrament of Love!

Sacred Host, Sacrament of Love   July 15, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s devote this day to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! Jesus awaits us every day in the Tabernacle, in the Holy Mass, for us to come to Him and spend time with Him. Let’s prepare ourselves for Him with this message and with this litany! “Dear children, great is the love of my Son. If you were to come to know the greatness of His love, you would never cease to adore and thank Him. He is always alive with you in the Eucharist, because the Eucharist is His Heart. The Eucharist is the heart of faith. He has never left you. Even when you tried to go away from Him, He has not left you. That is why my motherly heart is happy when I watch how you – filled with love – return to Him, when I see that you are coming to Him by the way of reconciliation, love, and hope. My motherly heart knows that when you set out on the way of faith, you are shoots – buds. But along with prayer and fasting you will be fruits, my flowers, apostles of my love; you will be carriers of light and will illuminate all those around you with love and wisdom. My children, as a mother I am imploring you: pray, think, and contemplate. Everything beautiful, painful and joyful that happens to you – all of this makes you grow spiritually, so that my Son may grow in you. My children, surrender yourselves to Him, believe Him, trust in His love, let Him lead you. Let the Eucharist be the place where you will feed your souls, and afterwards, will spread love and truth – will bear witness to my Son. Thank you.” August 2, 2019 LITANY OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Christ, hear us. Christ, graciously hear us. June 14, 2022 Reflection – “I will give you rest…”

I will give you rest…   July 14, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Today, in the Gospel, Jesus calls us to find our rest in Him: Jesus said: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (Mt 11:28-30) Mother Mary also invites us into Jesus’ rest. She longs for us to find rest for our souls. She told us: “Dear children, In this restless time, anew I am calling you to set out after my Son – to follow Him. I know of the pain, suffering and difficulties, but in my Son you will find rest; in Him you will find peace and salvation. My children, do not forget that my Son redeemed you by His Cross and enabled you, anew, to be children of God; to be able to, anew, call the Heavenly Father: ‘Father’. To be worthy of the Father, love and forgive, because your Father is love and forgiveness. Pray and fast, because that is the way to your purification, it is the way of coming to know and becoming cognizant of the Heavenly Father. When you become cognizant of the Father, you will comprehend that He is all you need. I, as a mother, desire my children to be in a community of one single people where the Word of God is listened to and carried out. *(Our Lady said this resolutely and with emphasis) Therefore, my children, set out after my Son. Be one with Him. Be God’s children. Love your shepherds as my Son loved them when He called them to serve you. Thank you.” (June 2, 2013) We will find rest for ourselves if we draw close to Jesus and Mary. We will find rest for our souls, our minds, our hearts, and our bodies. We will find God. And God is all we need! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2022

July 13, 2022 Reflection – Similar to a child!

Similar to a child…   July 13, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Have you noticed how Our Lady always addresses us in her messages in this way: “Dear Children”? Always! This is no mistake. I believe she knows that those of us who are responding to her call are indeed “children” at heart. There is something very important about being childlike. It affects the way we relate to Our Lady. She knows we will trust her and listen to her, in simplicity. Jesus spoke about this need to be like a child in today’s Gospel reading: At that time Jesus exclaimed: “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.” (Mt 11:25-27) Jesus was constantly trying to explain who He was and what He was about to the leaders of His people, the learned ones, the wise ones. We have many accounts of the arguments that took place between Jesus and the Pharisees and Scribes, etc. They just couldn’t get it. But the poor, the lame, the hungry all got it. They understood their need for God and that Jesus filled that need. Jesus, therefore, must have been from God. Our Lady calls to us:”Dear Children”, because she sees us as children. Even when we don’t know how weak and poor we are, she sees it. And she calls us continually to become her children, her little ones so that we can help her in these difficult days. Certainly there are so many others who do not listen to her call, and don’t even know she has come to save us. She needs us to help her reach them before it is too late. She told us: “Dear children! Today I invite you to decide every day for God. Little children, you speak much about God, but you witness little with your life. Therefore, little children, decide for conversion, that your life may be true before God, so that in the truth of your life you witness the beauty God gave you. Little children, I invite you again to decide for prayer because through prayer, you will be able to live the conversion. Each one of you shall become in the simplicity, similar to a child which is open to the love of the Father. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 1996) “Each one of you shall become in the simplicity, similar to a child which is open to the love of the Father.” If we pray, if we convert, if we listen to Our Lady and to Jesus, we will become childlike. We will meet our Creator/God, and fall in love with Him. We will understand that we are His little ones. And in that Father/child relationship, we will have such joy, truth, peace, and wisdom! That is how we will be able to help others to find God! As Jesus said: “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike.” Who would not want to be similar to a child which is open to the love of the Father? July 12, 2022 Reflection – Apostles of my light – of God’s light!

Apostles of my light, of God’s light!   July 12, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! July 2, 2014 “Dear children, I, the mother of all of you gathered here and the mother of the entire world, am blessing you with a motherly blessing and call you to set out on the way of humility. That way leads to the coming to know the love of my Son. My Son is almighty, He is in everything. If you, my children, do not become cognizant of this, then darkness/blindness rule in your soul. Only humility can heal you. My children, I always lived humbly, courageously and in hope. I knew, I became cognizant that God is in us and we are in God. I am asking the same of you. I desire for all of you to be with me in eternity, because you are a part of me. I will help you on your way. My love will envelop you like a mantle and make of you apostles of my light – of God’s light. With the love that comes forth from humility you will bring light to where darkness/blindness rule. You will be bringing my Son who is the light of the world. I am always alongside your shepherds and I pray that they may always be an example of humility for you… Thank you.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2022

June 11, 2022 Reflection – He found me on the ground…

He found me on the ground… July 11, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Yesterday, June 10, 2022, Fr. Michael Fitzgerald gave the homily for English Mass. He spoke on the Gospel reading for that day, Luke 10:25-37. It is the parable of the Good Samaritan. Fr. Michael was inspired by the Holy Spirit, really on fire!  So I have his words here, but to really get the fullness of his homily, go to Mary TV and watch the video, in the English Homily Archive, for June 10, 2022. Homily for English Mass in Medjugorje, June 10, 2022! Many of you would have heard of Sr. Clare Crockett. Have you heard of her? She came from Derry in Ireland. Sr. Claire was a member of the Spanish community, The Home of the Mother. And she was tragically killed in an earthquake in Ecuador, in April 2016. She was age 23 years. The video, “All or Nothing,” of her life has inspired many. I hope you will get a chance of seeing it. It is a beautiful video. But today I don’t want to speak about Sr. Claire’s story. I want to speak about another member of her community. Her name is Sr. Ruth O’Callaghan. Sr. Ruth came from Dublin. She also died, at age 37, following a rapid form of cancer, in December 2020. Sr. Ruth, as a young girl, was drawn into the modern, destructive culture of partying, alcohol, and drugs. She was like the man on the road to Jericho. (See Luke 10:25-37) She was battered, bruised, and bleeding…but bleeding and bruised morally. It was destroying her beautiful life. Her beautiful, young life. And some of her family and friends talked her into going to Medjugorje. And she gave in. On the way over, on the airplane, she found herself sitting by a priest. And she was not at all comfortable sitting by him. Her dad gave her a book so that she might not be bored in Medjugorje. (Any of you bored? It is hard to be bored here, isn’t it!) But while here she felt a need to go to confession. It had been a very long time since she was at confession. She was now in her early 20’s. But the priest asked her, by asking a series of questions, and in the middle of the confession, she began to cry uncontrollably. When she left the confessional, she testified the following: “I experienced two things: immense peace and at the same time, a sharp pain. The Lord had showed me my conscience. So many times, I had tried to conceal things, and pretend not to notice them. Trying to hide things that I didn’t want to see. Because I didn’t really want to change. But now the Lord was putting them all before me.” Just then after confession, she was invited to go to Mass. Again, Sr. Ruth testifies: “When it came time for Holy Communion, I knew I could receive because I had just been to confession. Nevertheless, I couldn’t get into the line for Communion. At that moment, the priest came in front of me, and gave me Holy Communion!” And again she began to cry uncontrollably. And all of a sudden…now this is the important part of the story, so don’t miss it…All of a sudden, after receiving Holy Communion, she remembered when she was five years of age, visiting a church with her mother. While her mother went to light candles at various statues (in Ireland you will see people coming into church and lighting candles at statues.) five year old Ruth went into the front pew of the church. She used the kneeler – and played horse on it, gliding along till the end. When she got to the end of the pew, she saw a Holy Communion Host on the floor. She talked to herself – “I know this is God! But I can’t receive Him because I haven’t received my first Holy Communion.”  Nevertheless, she picked Him up and cleaned Him off, and consumed Him. This was five hear old Ruth. This was the memory that came to her after receiving Communion in Medjugorje. “The memory was before me, and I experienced that the Lord was doing the very same with me here in Medjugorje. He found me on the ground, like something thrown out and dirty, and He wanted to clean me. At this moment, I found out what the Lord was like. I realized in a profound way that He is alive! The Lord is alive!!  Not in an abstract way. But rather, that He is a person, with a name, and He is calling me.” Now we never know how a Host could end up on the floor of a church. I have experienced it a couple of times as a priest. Maybe a child took the Host. Maybe somebody took it and then couldn’t receive it, but then left it on the floor. But Ruth felt, at that moment, after communion, like that man, battered and bruised, on the road to Jericho. The Lord picked her up. The Lord bandaged her wounds, healed her, comforted her, and consoled her. And that is how I would like you to think of Jesus today. That is what He would like to do for each and every one of us here in the congregation. He would like to pick us up, clean us off, give us life, give us joy, give us peace. And in that moment Ruth gave herself completely to Jesus. Ruth returned to Ireland. And she surprised everyone. She was a changed person. She began to go to daily Mass. She changed her lifestyle. And she was introduced to the Home of the Mother Community like Sr. Claire Crockett. She joined them, aged 22, and remained with them until her death, a year and a half ago, age 37, following a year of cancer. She was also the leader of the first Home of the Mother Community, established in Ireland. There are now four communities of the Home of the Mother Community in Ireland, two male, and two female. Dear friends, what we learn from Sr. Ruth’s amazing testimony is that we have to first realize that God’s love is real! God’s love is personal for you and me! He knows me intimately; He knows you intimately. Back to when you were five years of age. And He hasn’t forgotten anything that you have done. All the good things that you have done. And we have to learn to love and accept ourselves in the love of God, in truth and humility before we can really love others. Our God’s name is Jesus! And He is the visible image of the unseen God. And He is alive! Truly present in the Holy Eucharist! So, when we receive Him today, remember He knows me, He loves me, He knows my wounds, He knows my memories, He knows my struggles! As a sign of His incredible love for each and every one of us. Our Lady, in the 41st Anniversary Message says: “Little children, do not forget that you are important in my plan of salvation of mankind. Return to God and to prayer that the Holy Spirit may work in you and through you.” Dear friends, when Sr. Ruth entered the confessional here in Medjugorje, behind us, all those 24 years ago, she could never have realized how important she was in Our Lady’s plan! Our Lady, Queen of Peace of Medjugorje, was bringing her back to Jesus, and to her true self. Every one of us, if we follow what Our Lady has asking, is important. You are important. Everyone is important in our own way, to help Mary establish the Reign of her Son Jesus Christ! May He be praised forever! Alleluia!! May we receive the light of the Holy Spirit at this Mass today. May the Holy Spirit show us what He wants. Give us the courage to carry it out. Come Holy Spirit, live in us, and act in every single one of us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! July 8, 2022 Reflection – The way of humility and meekness…

The way of humility and meekness July 8, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! I felt a strong sense that Our Lady wants us to remember her call to Confession. Confession is one of the 5 stones. It is such a powerful Sacrament, and so misunderstood and forgotten by many of us! Here is what Our Lady said to us in 2007 about Confession: July 2, 2007 “Dear children! In the great love of God, I come to you today to lead you on the way of humility and meekness. The first station on that way, my children, is confession. Reject your arrogance and kneel down before my Son. Comprehend, my children, that you have nothing and you can do nothing. The only thing that you have and that you possess is sin… Be cleansed and accept meekness and humility. My Son could have won with strength, but He chose meekness, humility and love. Follow my Son and give me your hands so that, together, we may climb the mountain* and win. Thank you.” Our Lady couldn’t have been more clear. We desperately need confession, regularly and often!! If we understood how crippling our sins are, we would be confessing as much as possible!! Why? Because Jesus is waiting for us in the person of the priest, to take the full burden of our sin from our shoulders and heal us of all the calamity that our sin causes. Sin hobbles us from serving Jesus in these last days. We don’t want to be a burden to the Lord, but children who can help Him. This Penitential Psalm will help us grow in our desire for confession: Psalm 51 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. [1]Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy steadfast love; according to thy abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. [2]Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! [3]For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. [4]Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in thy sight, so that thou art justified in thy sentence and blameless in thy judgment. [5]Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. [6]Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart. [7] Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. [8] Fill me with joy and gladness; let the bones which thou hast broken rejoice. [9] Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. [11] Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy Spirit from me. [12] Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. [13] Then I will teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners will return to thee. [14] Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of thy deliverance. [15] O Lord, open thou my lips, and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. [16] For thou hast no delight in sacrifice; were I to give a burnt offering, thou wouldst not be pleased. [17] The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. [18] Do good to Zion in thy good pleasure; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, [19] then wilt thou delight in right sacrifices, in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on thy altar. Amen! Lord draw us to your Sacred Heart in Confession, where we will be forgiven, healed and renewed! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2022

July 7, 2022 Reflection – A Consecration to Mary written by Fr. Slavko

A Consecration to Mary by Fr. Slavko July 7, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Fr. Slavko wrote a short but beautiful prayer of consecration to Our Lady in his book, “Pray with the Heart”. It is the kind of prayer you could say every day. It is short and practical, and not full of fancy words!! Here it is: Prayer of Consecration to Our Lady “Dear children! Again today I call you to consecrate your life to me with love, so I am able to guide you with love. I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God. I want you to realize that this life lasts briefly compared to the one in Heaven. Therefore, dear children, decide again today for God. Only that way will I be able to show how much you are dear to me and how much I desire all to be saved and to be with me in Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 27, 1986) Mary, thank you for this motherly call! Mother of my Savior and Mother of Peace, today I surrender my life to you with love. As Jesus, dying on the cross, gave you also over to me, so do I give myself over to you now. Take me on your motherly lap! I want to love Jesus as you did, Mother. I want to learn with you how to listen to the Father’s word and do His will. Mary, with you I wish to learn how to love all people as my brothers and sisters because they are all yours. I devote myself to you that my prayer may be prayer of the heart in which I shall find peace, and love, and the strength of reconciliation. To you, Our Lady, do I give up my past, my present and my future, all my abilities and gifts. I want to grow up with you like Jesus did. Let everything in me praise the Lord with you from now on! Let my soul from now on sing for joy to His love and mercy! I dedicate to you, Mother, my family, too, all my friends, all those I live and work with… Mary, I would like to be the bearer of the Holy Spirit with you. Let my heart be obedient to His inspirations, as was yours! Mother of Peace, let my words be irrevocable through your intercession that sin may never seduce me again! Amen (Fr. Slavko Barbaric. “Pray with the Heart! Medjugorje Manual of Prayer” Copywright 1988, Parish of Medjugorje. p.33) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2022

July 6, 2022 Reflection – Raise your arms towards Heaven…

The world is in such need of your arms raised towards Heaven… July 6, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children, as in the other places where I have come to you, also here I am calling you to prayer. Pray for those who do not know my Son, for those who have not come to know the love of God, against sin, for the consecrated – for those whom my Son called to have love and the spirit of strength for you, for the Church. Pray to my Son, and the love which you experience from His nearness will give you the strength to make you ready for the works of love, which you will do in His name. My children, be ready. This time is a turning point. That is why I am calling you anew to faith and hope. I am showing you the way by which you need to go, and those are the words of the Gospel. Apostles of my love, the world is in such need of your arms raised towards Heaven, towards my Son, towards the Heavenly Father. Much humility and purity of heart are needed. Have trust in my Son and know that you can always be better. My motherly heart desires for you, apostles of my love, to be little lights of the world, to illuminate there where darkness wants to begin to reign, to show the true way by your prayer and love, to save souls. I am with you. Thank you.” (Mirjana – June 2, 2017) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2022

July 5, 2022 Reflection – Pray with the Heart…

Fr. Slavko Barbaric, O.F.M. Pray with the Heart July 5, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! “Return to God and prayer that the Holy Spirit may work in you and through you.” (June 25, 2022) Fr. Slavko Barbaric, OFM. spent his priesthood teaching and guiding pilgrims in Medjugorje on how to live Our Lady’s messages. He wrote many books. But one of my favorite is “Pray with the Heart! – Medjugorje Manual of Prayer”. Fr. Slavko was a very good shepherd. He showed the pilgrims and the people of the parish how to return to God and to prayer!!! Here is a prayer to the Holy Spirit that Fr. Slavko wrote for the book “Pray with the Heart”: Mary, thank you for having called me to pray every day to the Holy Spirit through whom you conceived Jesus Christ, through whom you in meditation understood the word of God and remained faithful to it to the end. June 2, 1984 “Dear children! Tonight I wish to tell you during the days of this Novena to pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on your families and on your parish. Pray, and you shall not regret it. God will give you gifts by which you will glorify Him till the end of your life on this earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.” O Spirit, I pray to You now with Mary who called me to pray to You. Pour Yourself out on me with all Your gifts! Pour out the gift of love into my life that from now on I may love God in You above all, and my neighbor as myself. Pour out on me the gift of wisdom that I may – in everything I do and think, feel and decide – always think, decide and act in Your light. O Spirit of Counsel, descend on me that I may, with my knowledge and the word of love, help those who ask me for counsel! Let my every word be a light to others! Spirit of Jesus, grant me the gift of Your strength that I may stand every trial and do the Father’s will, especially in times of hardship! Spirit of fortitude, strengthen me in the hours of frailty! O Spirit of Life, develop divine life within me which was given to me through You already in the bosom of my mother and at my baptism! Divine Fire, inflame the fire of divine love in my heart so that the darkness and ice of sin may disappear from it! Spirit of Healing, heal within me all that is wounded and develop the undeveloped! Descend on me with all your strength that I may be thankful for small things as well. Enlighten me, Holy Spirit, that I may know how to appreciate crosses and hardships, too. Mary, you are the bearer of the Holy Spirit. So thank you for calling me to pray to the Spirit of Truth. June 9, 1984 “Dear children! Tomorrow night pray for the Spirit of Truth! Especially, you from the parish because you need the Spirit of Truth to be able to convey the messages just the way they are, neither adding anything to them, nor taking anything whatsoever away from them, but just the way I said them. Pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire you with the spirit of prayer, so you will pray more. I, your Mother, tell you that you are praying little. Thank you for having responded to my call.” O Spirit of Truth, enlighten me with Your Truth that I may first live the truth of love, peace and righteousness. Help me that I may be able with my words and deeds, to proclaim every day the word of the Father in its full light to everybody! Holy Spirit, guide our Pope, bishops, priests and all others who proclaim the Word of God! Fall on the parish community of Medjugorje, too, that it may be able to live Our Lady’s messages and to convey them to all! Fall on the priests who preach in Medjugorje! Fall on the confessors and those who confess. Spirit of Prayer, teach us how to pray. Cleanse our hearts that we may pray worthily and always find time for prayer! Holy Spirit, pray within me and invoke: Abba Father! Grant me the favor of praying with the heart! Mary, I also want to open my heart to the Holy Spirit, as you opened yours when you called me: May 23, 1985 “Dear children! These days I call you especially to open your hearts to the Holy Spirit. Especially during these days the Holy Spirit is working through you. Open your hearts and surrender your life to Jesus so that He works through your hearts and strengthens you in faith. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Holy Spirit, take away all burdens from me that my heart may be like a developing and growing flower that brings abundant fruit! Mary, may the Holy Spirit start and continue within me the deed which started in you, that the divine word may grow within me through it! O Holy Spirit, through Mary I choose You today the Master of my whole being. With trust and hope in Your endless love, which manifested itself so marvelously in Mary, I decide for Your gifts. I renounce every evil spirit and his action, and accept You, the Spirit of light, Love, Peace and Order. I devote to You all my abilities and want to act in Your light. I surrender to You all rights over my life. Watch over me and lead me to the Father! I pray to You with Mary through Jesus Christ. Amen. (Fr. Slavko Barbaric, O.F.M – Pray with the Heart – Medjugorje Manual of Prayer, copywright, Parish of Medjugorje 1988) “Return to God and prayer that the Holy Spirit may work in you and through you.” (June 25, 2022) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
