April 17, 2020 Reflection – Friday of Easter Week, Divine Mercy Novena Day 8

One of the most beautiful spots in Medjugorje – the Cemetery Pray daily for souls in purgatory… April 17, 2020 Easter Friday Divine Mercy Novena – Day Eight Dear Family of Mary! Today we pray for the Souls in Purgatory. The Souls in Purgatory need our prayers and sacrifices. They can no longer pray for themselves. And they ardently long to be united with the Lord in Heaven. We, the Church Militant can pray for them! Our Lady once told us: “Dear children! Today I wish to call you to pray daily for souls in purgatory. For every soul prayer and grace is necessary to reach God and the love of God. By doing this, dear children, you obtain new intercessors who will help you in life to realize that all the earthly things are not important for you, that only Heaven is that for which it is necessary to strive. Therefore, dear children, pray without ceasing that you may be able to help yourselves and the others to whom your prayers will bring joy. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 6, 1986) St. Faustina understood this call to pray for the Souls in Purgatory. It was one of her chief missions on earth. The souls would even visit her, asking for prayer. What a friend she was to the souls in Purgatory: 692. + O Jesus, I understand that Your mercy is beyond all imagining, and therefore I ask You to make my heart so big that there will be room in it for the needs of all the souls living on the face of the earth. O Jesus, my love extends beyond the world, to the souls suffering in purgatory, and I want to exercise mercy toward them by means of indulgenced prayers. God’s mercy is unfathomable and inexhaustible, just as God Himself is unfathomable. Even if I were to use the strongest words there are to express this mercy of God, all this would be nothing in comparison with what it is in reality. O Jesus, make my heart sensitive to all the sufferings of my neighbor, whether of body or of soul. O my Jesus, I know that You act toward us as we act toward our neighbor. My Jesus, make my heart like unto Your merciful Heart. Jesus, help me to go through life doing good to everyone. (Diary, 692) May we take St. Faustina’s example to heart and pray for the souls in Purgatory with love! Divine Mercy Novena Day Eight: Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ARE DETAINED IN PURGATORY, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice. Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen. Update from Denis – Medjugorje and Divine Mercy

“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I do not think that wide circles of American Society, or wide circles of the Christian Community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the Gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the antichrist. This confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God’s Plan, and it must be a trial which the Church takes up, and faces courageously…”   Saint John Paul ll  (1976 – Philadelphia Eucharistic Congress) April  16, 2020 Easter Thursday Dear Mary TV Shipmates, Five years after addressing the Philadelphia Eucharistic Congress with the words above, Our Lady started coming to Medjugorje, prompting St. John Paul ll to recognize: “Medjugorje is the spiritual center of the world.”  It could be said the Holy Father saw Our Lady’s coming to Medjugorje as “the ace up the sleeve” of the Father for these times!

April 16, 2020 Reflection – Thursday of Easter Week, Divine Mercy Novena Day 7

(c)Mary TV – 2020 Fr. Chris Alar, MIC. who spreads Divine Mercy everywhere!! April 16, 2020 Thursday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena, Day 7Dear Family of Mary! Today we pray for those who venerate and extol the Mercy of the Lord! It is a joyous day!! A day Our Lady longs for and loves! “Dear children! Also in this difficult time God’s love sends me to you. My children, do not be afraid, I am with you. With complete trust give me your hearts, that I may help you to recognize the signs of the time in which you live. I will help you to come to know the love of my Son. I will triumph through you. Thank you.” June 2, 2007 Jesus tells St. Faustina how much He loves those who extol His Mercy: April 4, 1937. Low Sunday; that is, the Feast of Mercy. In the morning, after Holy Communion, my soul was immersed in the Godhead. I was united to the Three Divine persons in such a way that when I was united to Jesus, I was simultaneously united to the Father and to the Holy Spirit, My soul was flooded with joy beyond understanding, and the Lord gave me to experience the whole ocean and abyss of His fathomless mercy. Oh, if only souls would want to understand how much God loves them! All comparisons, even if they were the most tender and the most vehement, are but a mere shadow when set against the reality. When I was united to the Lord, I came to know how many souls are glorifying God’s mercy. When I went for adoration, I heard these words: My beloved daughter, write down these words, that today My Heart has rested in this convent [the Cracow house]. Tell the world about My mercy and My love. The flames of mercy are burning me. I desire to pour them out upon human souls. Oh, what pain they cause Me when they do not want to accept them! My daughter, do whatever is within your power to spread devotion to My mercy. I will make up for what you lack. Tell aching mankind to snuggle close to My merciful Heart, and I will fill it with peace. Tell [all people], My daughter, that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls. Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the merciful Savior. At that last hour, a soul has nothing with which to defend itself except My mercy. Happy is the soul that during its lifetime immersed itself in the Fountain of Mercy, because justice will have no hold on it. Write this: Everything that exists is enclosed in the bowels of My mercy, more deeply than an infant in its mother’s womb. How painfully distrust of My goodness wounds Me! Sins of distrust wound Me most painfully. (1073 – 1076 Diary) Let’s pray for all those souls who are spreading and living the Divine Mercy, for they are prophets and servants of Jesus, Divine Mercy!   Divine Mercy Novena, Day Seven Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death. Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God: Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen. April 15, 2020 Reflection – Wednesday of Easter Week, Divine Mercy Novena Day 6

(c)Mary TV – 2020 Meek and humble souls and the souls of little children… April 15, 2020 Wednesday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena – Day 6Dear Family of Mary! Today in our novena we are praying for humbles souls, and the souls of little children. These souls are so very precious to God!! Humility requires great trust in God, and a selflessness that leaves one open to sacrifice. Humble souls do not live for themselves. They live for the love of God and others. Our Lady teaches us a little about humility in this message: September 02, 2013 “Dear children, I love you all. All of you, all of my children, all of you are in my heart. All of you have my motherly love, and I desire to lead all of you to come to know God’s joy. This is why I am calling you. I need humble apostles who, with an open heart, will accept the Word of God and help others to comprehend the meaning of their life along side God’s word. To be able to do this my children, through prayer and fasting, you must learn to listen with the heart and to learn to keep submitting yourselves. You must learn to keep rejecting everything that distances you from God’s word and to yearn only for that which draws you closer to it. Do not be afraid. I am here. You are not alone. I am imploring the Holy Spirit to renew and strengthen you. I am imploring the Holy Spirit that, as you help others, you too may be healed. I am imploring Him that, through Him, you may be God’s children and my apostles.” There is great wisdom in Our Lady’s words. St. Faustina also grew to understand humility through her long discipleship to the Lord. Here are two entries from her diary about the value of humility and how to grow in it: 1092. April 16, 1937. Today, as God’s Majesty swept over me, my soul understood that the Lord, so very great though He is, delights in humble souls. The more a soul humbles itself, the greater the kindness with which the Lord approaches it. Uniting himself closely with it, He raises it to His very throne. Happy is the soul whom the Lord himself defends. I have come to know that only love is of any value; love is greatness; nothing, no works, can compare with a single act of pure love of God. 1306. + O humility, lovely flower, I see how few souls possess you. Is it because you are so beautiful and at the same time so difficult to attain? O yes, it is both the one and the other. Even God takes great pleasure in her. The floodgates of heaven are open to a humble soul, and a sea of graces flows down upon her. O how beautiful is a humble soul! From her heart, as from a censer, rises a varied and most pleasing fragrance which breaks through the skies and reaches God Himself, filling His Most Sacred Heart with joy. God refuses nothing to such a soul; she is all-powerful and influences the destiny of the whole world. God raises such a soul up to His very throne, and the more she humbles herself, the more God stoops down to her, pursuing her with His graces and accompanying her at every moment with His omnipotence. Such a soul is most deeply united with God. O humility, strike deep roots in my whole being. O Virgin most pure, but also most humble, help me to attain deep humility. Now I understand why there are so few saints; it is because so few souls are deeply humble. Let us pray for humble souls and the souls of little children, asking for grace for them, and asking that we can become humble as well: Divine Mercy Novena Day Six Today bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence. Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen. April 14, 2020 Reflection – Tuesday of Easter Week, Divine Mercy Novena Day 5

(c)Mary TV – 2020 April 14, 2020 Tuesday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena Day 5Dear Family of Mary! Today we pray for the reunification of all Christians. How did the followers of Jesus Christ end up so splintered? Is there not one Lord? But we also know that the enemy of us all is the great “Divider”.  The enemy of our souls has worked tirelessly to break us apart since the beginning of time. And so, this is a very important prayer intention. Unity. Unity in the Faith, the Love and the Truth of Jesus, Our Lord.  If only… Our Lady has given us many messages about unity – here are two: September 25, 1995 “Dear Children! Today I invite you to fall in love with the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Adore Him, little children, in your Parishes and in this way you will be united with the entire world. Jesus will become your friend and you will not talk of Him like someone whom you barely know. Unity with Him will be a joy for you and you will become witnesses to the love of Jesus that He has for every creature. Little children, when you adore Jesus you are also close to me. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 2005 “Dear children! In this time of grace again I call you to prayer. Pray, little children, for unity of Christians, that all may be one heart. Unity will really be among you inasmuch as you will pray and forgive. Do not forget: love will conquer only if you pray, and your heart will open. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Love is the answer, the uniting love of Jesus which can change us and bring us into one heart of love for Him.  May it be so: Divine Mercy Novena, Day Five: Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and, in this way, they alleviate My Passion. Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen. April 13, 2020 Reflection – Monday of Easter Week, Divine Mercy Novena Day 4

(c)Mary TV – A Zubac 2020 April 13, 2020 Monday of Easter Week Divine Mercy Novena Day 4 Dear Family of Mary! On this 4th day of Easter, we realize how very much the prayers for Divine Mercy are united with the joy of Easter. The very heart of the Easter message is Divine Mercy. It is the Triumph of Divine Mercy that Jesus achieved through His Passion, Death and Resurrection. Divine Mercy is the most precious fruit of Jesus’ Sacrifice. Jesus died for all souls, that they be saved! Today in the Divine Mercy Novena we pray for an intention that is very dear to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We pray for those who do not believe in God and do not know Him yet. These are the souls that cause the most suffering for Jesus and Mary! They long for these souls to recognize their love and embrace it. Let us pray with all our hearts that all souls will hear Our Lady’s call. Our Lady told us: November 25, 2003 “Dear children! I call you that this time be for you an even greater incentive to prayer. In this time, little children, pray that Jesus be born in all hearts, especially in those who do not know Him. Be love, joy and peace in this peaceless world. I am with you and intercede before God for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady has a burning love for those souls who do not know her Son, or do not yet love Him. She longs for them to be united to her Son. St. Faustina also was given by Jesus a great desire that souls would recognize and love Him. She wrote: Christ, give me souls. Let anything You like happen to me, but give me souls in return. I want the salvation of souls. I want souls to know Your mercy. I have nothing left for myself, because I have given everything away to souls, with the result that on the day of judgment I will stand before you empty-handed, since I have given everything away to souls. Thus, You will have nothing on which to judge me, and we shall meet on that day: Love and mercy … (Diary, 1426) And so today, we pray for all those souls who do not yet know or love Jesus…May they be given the grace of conversion and faith!! Divine Mercy Novena Day Four Today bring to Me THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen. April 12, 2020 Reflection – Easter Sunday, Divine Mercy Novena Day 3

(c)Mary TV Christ indeed from death is risen!!! April 12, 2020 Easter Sunday Divine Mercy Novena, Day 3 Dear Family of Mary! Let’s pray together this beautiful sequence, rejoicing in the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ!! Sequence (Victimae paschali laudes) Christians, to the Paschal Victim Offer your thankful praises! A Lamb the sheep redeems; Christ, who only is sinless, Reconciles sinners to the Father. Death and life have contended in that combat stupendous: The Prince of life, who died, reigns immortal. Speak, Mary, declaring What you saw, wayfaring. “The tomb of Christ, who is living, The glory of Jesus’ resurrection; bright angels attesting, The shroud and napkin resting. Yes, Christ my hope is arisen; To Galilee he goes before you.” Christ indeed from death is risen, our new life obtaining. Have mercy, victor King, ever reigning! Amen. Alleluia. This is Easter Sunday! Though we have been walking through a dark time, the Resurrection is a force that cannot be stopped! No pestilence can keep us from the joy of our Redeemer!! Our Lady has told us so. She called us to live in trust. Her Son has conquered: “Dear children! Also today I call you to have more trust in me and my Son. He has conquered by His death and resurrection and, through me, calls you to be a part of His joy. You do not see God, little children, but if you pray you will feel His nearness. I am with you and intercede before God for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2006) We do not see God, but today we want to feel His nearness. We want to live in the deep awareness of the Redemption of Christ. We want to be part of His Joy!! Come, Lord Jesus, and enter the room of my Heart, even if the door is locked. Even though I may be in locked down, alone, Jesus will come. He can walk through walls!! Come, Lord Jesus, come in and be with me. Today we pray for all Devout and Faithful Souls. May these souls stay firm and intercede for this poor world, so much in need of mercy! Divine Mercy Novena – Day Three Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS and immerse then in the ocean of My mercy. The souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness. Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wonderous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen. April 11, 2020 Reflection – Holy Saturday, Divine Mercy Novena Day 2

(c)Mary TV 2019 Pray for your shepherds… April 11, 2020 Holy Saturday Divine Mercy Novena Day 2Dear Family of Mary!April 02, 2014 “Dear children… Pray for your shepherds. I pray for them and I desire that they may always feel the blessing of my motherly hands and the support of my motherly heart.” Pray for your shepherds…Our Lady called us to pray for our priests many times!! She often included this call at the end of the 2nd of the month messages. She has a special love for our priests and for the religious as well. They have given their lives for Jesus. And we need them so much. Today we pray for them in the novena. St. Faustina depended upon her spiritual directors and confessors for clarity in discernment and protection from the devil. She learned to hear the voice of Jesus through them. She understood how necessary the priests and religious are for the Church and the world. She wrote: O Jesus, give us fervent and holy priest! Oh, how great is the dignity of the priest, but at the same time, how great is his responsibility! Much has been given you, O priest, but much will also be demanded of you … (Diary, 941) O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; You yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest may the power of your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things. (Diary, 1052) Such beautiful words of respect and love! Let’s pray today’s novena prayers with great sincerity. We do need our priests so very much! As Our Lady said: “Pray for your shepherds. I pray for them and I desire that they may always feel the blessing of my motherly hands and the support of my motherly heart.”Divine Mercy Novena – Day Two Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind. Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service, that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven. Eternal Father turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard-upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen. April 9, 2020 Update from Denis – The Power of Simple Prayer

  (c) Mary TV April 9, 2020 Holy Thursday Dear Apostles of Our Lady – Family of Mary TV, The power of simple prayer… “There is wonderful news this morning!”  Cathy greeted me with these words and a big smile when I came downstairs the other morning.  “Cardinal Pell is being released!” His conviction had been a sham.  Everyone knew it….   And the last news I had heard was that new charges would be leveled against him before Australia’s Supreme Court…  To tell the truth, I had sort of given up praying for him.  He was a martyr.  But Australia’s Supreme Court had just voted unanimously to set him free! Right when Cathy had said those words, they brought back a memory I had forgotten.   It was maybe back in 1991.  Australia had been consecrated to Satan.  I remember the shock that day when it happened.  And right then with Cathy’s greeting it came to me:  all the power of Hell, all the power of Satan, can’t withstand simple prayer!

April 10, 2020 Reflection – Good Friday, Divine Mercy Novena Day 1

(c)Mary TV 2018 April 10, 2020 Good Friday Divine Mercy Novena, Day 1 Dear Family of Mary! September 25, 2007 “Dear children! Also today I call all of you for your hearts to blaze with more ardent love for the Crucified, and do not forget that, out of love for you, He gave His life so that you may be saved. Little children, meditate and pray that your heart may be open to God’s love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” On this most solemn day, Good Friday, we worship our Crucified Savior. In silence and fasting, we remain with Him as He dies on the Cross and is buried in the Tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. We then wait with Our Lady and the women. It is a time of silence and patient faith. We also remember that on this day at the moment of Christ’s death, His Heart was pierced by the soldier’s lance and Blood and Water flowed from our Savior’s side. Jesus revealed to St. Faustina that this Blood and Water is the infinite outpouring of the Mercy of God for sinful man. And so, through her we have been given the Divine Mercy Novena, in which we call forth the Blood and Water upon all Mankind, asking for the salvation of souls. Jesus chose Saint Faustina to be His “Secretary of Mercy”. She was given the impossible task of spreading devotion to His Divine Mercy throughout the whole world which in our time is so desperately needed. He told her: St. Faustina wrote in entry 699: On one occasion, I heard these words: My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy (note139) be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the Fount of My Mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity. Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of My most tender mercy. Every soul in its relation to Me will contemplate My love and mercy throughout eternity. The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not havepeace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy. (699) The Feast of Mercy is on the 1st Sunday after Easter (this year it is April 19, 2020). And St. Faustina shared with us the instructions that Jesus gave her about the Divine Mercy Novena which Jesus wants prayed for the nine days before Divine Mercy Sunday: Novena to The Divine Mercy which Jesus instructed me to write down and make before the Feast of Mercy. It begins on Good Friday. “I desire that during these nine days you bring souls to the fountain of My mercy, that they may draw therefrom strength and refreshment and whatever grace they need in the hardships of life, and especially at the hour of death. On each day you will bring to My Heart a different group of souls, and you will immerse them in this ocean of My mercy, and I will bring all these souls into the house of My Father. You will do this in this life and in the next. I will deny nothing to any soul whom you will bring to the fount of My mercy. On each day you will beg My Father, on the strength of My bitter Passion, for graces for these souls.” I answered, “Jesus, I do not know how to make this novena or which souls to bring first into Your Most Compassionate heart.” Jesus replied that He would tell me which souls to bring each day into His Heart. (1209) So today we begin Day 1 of the Divine Mercy Novena!! May we pray this Novena with all our hearts, because our world is in desperate need of the Mercy of God. Our prayers are necessary! Day 1 of the Divine Mercy Novena: Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me. Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever. Amen.
