August 6, 2021 Reflection – Medjugorje Youth Festival, Day 6

Holy Mass for the Transfiguration on Cross Mountain- August 6, 2021 August 6, 2021 Day 6 of the Youth Festival Mass of the Transfiguration on Cross Mountain! Dear Family of Mary! As I write to you all, I am watching and praying, live, with the parish on Cross Mountain, at 5 in the morning! It is the Transfiguration and the last day of the Youth Festival. After 5 days of teachings and prayer, we celebrate together at the Cross, thanking Jesus and Mary for their presence and love for us!! It is a huge grace to be able to attend this mass from my home so far away!! Thank you Jesus and Mary for providing such a beautiful connection to Medjugorje! This Youth Festival has been life changing!! We all have been able to partake of the graces either in Medjugorje of thousands of miles away, through Mary TV! Thank you Jesus and Mary! As a parting gift, we have transcribed Jakov Colo’s testimony given yesterday at the festival. You can read and pray over it this weekend!! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2021 Jakov Colo’s testimony for the 32 Youth Festival in Medjugorje! Fr. Marinko introduced Jakov’s testimony this way: Forty years ago, this man was a little boy. He was 10 years old. And now he has a family, a wife, Analisa, and three children. He is the one who experienced Our Lady’s love. He had the great grace to see Our Lady! Several years ago he started an organization called “Mary’s Hands.” A movement that now is comprised of many volunteers. It is Jakov Colo, our visionary! Jakov Colo shared from his heart: First of all, sincerely, from my heart I greet you all! And I would like to begin with Our Lady’s words, words that Our Lady has said to us often here in Medjugorje. “Thank you for having responded to my call.” How beautiful it is again to see so many young people here in Medjugorje. I know that today you could have been in many other places. Maybe some of you were also planning other summer vacations. But when God calls you, when Our Lady calls you, it is simply impossible to say “no”. And particularly because of that, you are here in Medjugorje today. Because God wanted you to be here. Because Our Lady called you. First we must say to Our Lord, a simple word, so simple, and that is the word “Thank you!” Thank you, Lord, for all of these forty years. Thank you, Lord, for permitting Your Mother to be here with us. Because in this we also recognize how great God’s love is for us. God sends us His Mother for forty years! And how great is Our Lady’s love for each one of us. Let us only look and see how many times Our Lady said in her messages, “Dear children!” In one message she said, “If you knew how much I love you, you would cry with joy!” Have you ever cried from joy for the love of Our Lady? Have you experienced that joy of the presence of Our Lord in your hearts? You are here now in Medjugorje, and I sincerely desire for you to experience this and to bring it back to your homes. Fr. Marinko said that I was a child then. I was ten years old. And I can say that I had the most beautiful childhood. A childhood spent with Our Lady. With Our Lady I came to a great gift. Our Lady brought me to that gift. That gift is to come to know Jesus Christ. It is a great gift. And that is why Our Lady is coming here, to lead us to Jesus Christ. To show us the way, to lead us to Jesus! Our Lady before all, is a mother. I remember in the first days of the apparitions when I would only look at these most beautiful eyes of Our Lady, when I saw such great love in those eyes, and at the same time I felt in my heart that love. Immediately, in that same moment I experienced Our Lady as a mother. I accepted her as my own mother. And I came to love her as my own mother. Our Lady has been a mother to me my entire life. I know that many of you have so many difficulties in your lives. And I would say to you, never be afraid of difficulties. Let us never be afraid of falls that happen in our lives. I personally can say to you, if you have God in your lives, even in the difficulties and crosses that we carry, God is always there to help us. I can give you a personal example of how God watches over us always. When I was ten years old, I had my first apparition. After a short while, I lost my mother. After that I lost my dad. But I had another father. I had another mother who was always present along side me. And in those difficult moments, you feel that God and Mary are placing their hands on your shoulders and saying, “You are not alone, do not be afraid. I am with you. I love you. I am your mother. I am your father. And in this way, God prepares all of us. And that is why again I repeat to you, do not be afraid. We need fear nothing! Because if we have God in our lives, we have everything. So often in my life, I have seen so many witnesses, so many trips around the world. All that is beautiful, and perhaps it is most easy to come here and to speak. I wanted to be an example, even though I have not always been a good example. Don’t think that visionaries are holy. I had falls in my life. I had difficulties. But God was always there. And for this I thank Him immeasurably. He helped me get up and move forward. Maybe also I will have other falls in my life. But God will always be present to give me a hand, to raise me up so I can continue on. But then a time comes when you think, is it enough only to witness? Is it enough to witness with your life? We may ask ourselves; do I really witness well with my life? Am I a good example? I thought about that. As I said, after a more difficult time in my life, after a cross that I had that served to make me think about things in my life. I had to find out how to go on. In what other way could I do something for God? And I thank God because I am aware that I received a great gift from Him, and I will never be able to thank God for everything. An idea was born. As Fr. Marinko mentioned, I founded… (but it was all Fr. Marinko’s doing. Without Fr. Marinko I would not be able to be where I am today)! I spoke with Fr. Marinko and Fr. Marinko said, “You have had other plans, but they were not God’s plan…” And I remember the day when Fr. Marinko brought me into a small hut here in the parish courtyard, and said, “This is now your office, and I would like for this to become the Office for the Needy.” At that moment, I understood. That was the answer to my question of how I should go on. At the same moment I understood that God was giving me a new grace. From now on I could also witness with my hands. I could extend my hands, first of all towards God, towards Our Lady, and then towards every person who is in need. Then the office was called, “The Office for the Needy”. This was 2013. The first two years I was alone in that office. The Needy came from various parts of the parish. For me the most difficult was to listen to their difficult life stories. Through these difficult life stories, I started to accuse myself. I asked myself, “Where were you all this time?” Maybe I hadn’t even recognized that there was a need. But the more I visited these people, the more I came to know this reality. I understood one thing. In helping others, you are helping yourself. Then you can understand many things. And when first say help, we are human beings, and we always think about material things. But the first thing we need to give to every person, especially the poor, is our love for them. That they are loved that they are not alone, that they are not forgotten. That somebody is caring for them. That they are important for someone. I remember the first time when I came into a family for my first visit to them. I said, “Oh God, Lord help me! Because every person has his dignity. And you don’t know how this person is going to receive this. And when the doors were opened, a woman came. She didn’t say anything. She only embraced me and started to cry. And that was an important moment that gave me the strength to go on. Because I understood that it was at this moment, I started to live a real Christian life. I suppose it was easy to say, “I am a Christian, I go to Holy Mass, I pray.” But I firmly believe that faith without works is not faith. We have to be Christians who work. How often do we forget that we have neighbors in need? Perhaps they are not in need of material goods. Sometimes maybe even just a smile or an embrace, a conversation, a prayer with them can help a lot. And it doesn’t cost us anything. In 2016, I founded the humanitarian association with Fr. Marinko, called “Mary’s Hands”. I am very proud of that name. Let’s look at Medjugorje. Forty years Our Lady has been extending her hands to us. Saying to us, “Come, my children, to me that I may lead you to Jesus. And now we have the opportunity to be the extended hands of Mary and Jesus first of all, and then to all those who are asking for help from us. At this moment we care for about 600 families. And what is beautiful, is that when I thought I would not be able to go on, I was alone. I surrendered everything into God’s hands, and I said, “Lord, You take care of it, if this is your plan. You take care of it. And slowly young people started to come. Today there are about sixty of us who are volunteers, mostly young people from the surrounding area. How beautiful it is to see a young man who goes to someone, to repair or clean a house, to visit someone, to drive someone to the hospital who needs doctor’s care. When he comes back with everything that he has done, I see that person, happy!! When I look at this world today. Especially the youth who have everything offered to them… often the world offers us things that lead us to destruction. It does not offer to us what is most important. Which is God! But if you have God in your heart, you will always recognize where the need is. And that is why I am so grateful to the Lord for all of my volunteers. As I said, we care for 600 families. What does our association help with. I must say we help with everything. Every month we share about 600 packages of food. We have rebuilt many homes. We help people to purchase their medicine they can’t afford. We help people in their medical care. People don’t have homes, so we pay for their rent. Everything that people need. Clothing, furniture. but what is most important: everybody is welcome in our office, whether Catholic or not. Because of that I am very happy. When people come who are not Catholic, through our example we show them what it means to be Catholic. What it truly means to live the Catholic faith. We desire to work even more. One project began a month ago, and I hope it will be finished in another month and a half. It will be a soup kitchen in a nearby area where we will be able to give 200 meals a day. Also brought to their homes. Sometimes we forget how much we have. Sometimes we even ask God for more. Let us ask ourselves how much do we thank God for little things. Do you really thank God for that piece of bread that every day we can share with our family. Because from my own experience and example, I can share with you, as Fr. Marinko said: “I have three children, they have somebody who loves them, will embrace them, who will kiss them. But on the other side there are many children who suffer, many children who have never even felt love, and what it means to be loved. There are so many examples that I could share with you. But that is not necessary, because what I would call you to is what is most important. Often times we judge someone. Often times when we meet someone homeless, we meet a drug addict, an addict on drugs, alcohol, whatever. We look at this one, “drinking!” Who are we to judge? Have you been under his skin? Have you lived his life and what he has had in his life? When we meet someone who is sleeping on the street. Oftentimes we just pass by. And we look at the person with some kind of a despising look. Sometimes we give a little coin to appease our conscience.  But that is not faith. Let us stop by that man. Let us ask him, “How are you?” Let us embrace him. And it will be difficult for us. If we are truly Christians as many of us say that we are, and in every person, we need to recognize Jesus Christ. And particularly in that embrace we are embracing Jesus Christ. And perhaps that is the most important for that person then for us to give him that one coin or even to do much more for him materially. So when you return back to your homes, look around you. Is someone in need? Does he need your smile? Does he need your conversation? Bring it with you from Medjugorje. And in the end, I would say to you: often times when pilgrims from back from Medjugorje they carry so many souvenirs, so many rosaries, so many crucifixes, and all that is beautiful. It’s beautiful to bring some kind of a memory from Medjugorje.  But the most important souvenir of Medjugorje to bring it costs us nothing. It’s free. We don’t even need luggage to carry it. We only need our hearts. That is Our Lady’s messages. That is prayer, conversion, peace, penance, fasting and Holy Mass. If we carry this from Medjugorje, we have placed this into our lives. And we’ve understood what Medjugorje is. This is not important when you come into your homes, to shout with all your strength that we were in Medjugorje at the youth festival, and it was good. But let us show it in our example, with our life that others can recognize that spirit of Medjugorje in us. That they can recognize how God works through us. And I will pray for all of you. For all of your needs; for all of your intentions; for all the sick. And I also ask you because people often ask me how can we help you … for us volunteers most important is prayer. Because without prayer we couldn’t do any of this. That is why also every Monday we have a prayer meeting where we ask God to give us all the more love, all the more strength, to be able to do what we need to do.  That is why I also ask of you, please pray for us. Pray for Mary’s Hands. May these hands always be extended and with an open heart. Thank you very much!” (Jakov Colo, testimony for Youth Festival 2021)

I would like to remind us all that August 5 is a special day! In August of 1984 Our Lady shared a secret with the visionaries. She told them that her actual birth date is August 5! And in 1984 it was her 2000th birthday! The visionaries recall that Our Lady asked them to spend 3 days, fasting and praying for her intentions so that on her birthday she could receive the gifts she desired. The visionaries complied with her request. For three days they fasted, and their prayer group fasted, and prayed. During those three days the visionaries say that Our Lady was very joyful and she repeated to them: “I am very happy, continue, continue, continue to pray and to fast!!!” Our Lady also told the visionaries “The priest who will hear confession will have great joy on that day.” When August 5th arrived there were over 70 priests present, hearing confessions without rest, and there were a great number of conversions. It was reported that the stoles of the priests who were hearing confession on that day were dripping with the tears of those confessing. When Our Lady appeared, she told the visionaries, “Never in my life have I cried with sorrow, as I have cried this evening with joy. Thank you!” Like a flower when it blooms, and full of joy, Our Lady also said: “Continue, continue, open your hearts, ask God and I will ask for you.” It seems that Our Lady’s intentions were for the conversion of her children! And she received many souls back into the life of grace that day!! Let’s give Our Lady a birthday present today!! Pray an extra Rosary in her honor and for her intentions, especially for the conversion of her children. We love you, dearest Mother Mary!! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2021 PS. August 3, 2021 Reflection – Medjugorje Youth Festival, Day 3

Day 2 of the Youth Festival, 2021 – The Candlelight Ceremony From the Air!! August 3, 2021 Day 3 of the Youth FestivalDear Family of Mary!Today is Day 3 of the Youth Festival! Already so many beautiful memories have been made! Yesterday the young people climbed Apparition Hill to pray at the apparition site. It was at 6:00 am!And then from 10:00 am to Noon, there was Catechesis and testimony! Sanja Barisic shared the story of her life, which included so much suffering due to drugs. Sanja wandered for many years in pain until one day Our Lady reached into her life and saved her. We also heard from Fr. Matthew, from France, who shared his own miraculous conversion in Medjugorje! He is now a powerful priest, full of the Lord’s love! You will not want to miss the conclusion of the Evening Mass when there was Veneration of the Holy Cross, and the lighting of candles. It was spectacular!! You can watch these events and all the sessions of the Festival in the Archive “Youth Festival 2021” at this link: https://marytv.tv/youth-festival-2021/ I would like to share some of the comments in the homily from last night’s evening Mass. They convey the wonder of Our Lady’s presence in Medjugorje. Fr. Miljenko Steko was the main celebrant for the Evening Eucharistic Celebration. He is the Franciscan Provincial of the area of Medjugorje, and has been part of the events of Medjugorje for many years. He spoke so tenderly of Our Lady. He said: “To this Youth Festival in Our Lady’s Medjugorje, with particular joy I speak to you, and I wish for you to feel the way man can feel, the way man can feel in the embrace of the most favored Mother, the Mother who became our Mother in the order of grace, that you may be happy. That you may be joyful and feel merciful and blessed while you are here. In the embrace of the one who is always here for you. Who unobtrusively lays her hand of grace on you and guides you thorughout your whole life. “Of the Mother who loves unconditionally! That is the word that the Holy Father used in the message that he gave to us (yesterday). He spoke about the unconditional love. It is the Mother who loves so much and embraces you under her mantle and receives you, and intercedes for you. And only the man who receives the love of his Mother can witness peace, happiness, welfare…the feeling when we are not afraid to say anything, because she would understand us! “The feeling that all of our worries, all of our anxieties and all of our difficulties can be surrendered into the hands that always greet us and embrace us with goodness. “She is the Mother of Reconciliation! And of those who are reconciled, she is the Mother of Salvation and of Faith. “She passes on to us what we have heard in the Gospel. What encouraged her life? ‘Do not be afraid of the living God! Do not be afraid.’ If it wasn’t for those words in your heart, I do not know how you would pass through so many borders and arrive here during this pandemic. And you came from all over the world. And you came from various peoples. You carry different cultures and you speak different languages. You dress in different ways. You eat different things. In many ways your are different. And yet, this is not an obstacle to your being here, joyful in God’s family! You can be one heart and one soul, united with Mary in prayer! Just like the Apostles were in the Cenacle “The Most Holy Virgin, completely directed to Christ, is the foundation of the Church and its faith experience. She becomes for you the privileged way to Christ, who is the Supreme Mediator. “The Cardinal (Cardinal Sarah) reminded us of that in the last words of his homily, when he said in his final sentences that we may be converted by Our Lady of Medjugorje! “The secular people, when they see such gatherings of the youth, are astonished and they wonder why these people gather in such great numbers. What is it that gathers them? What moves them to take on so many efforts, to overcome so many obstacles to come here? The world lives as if God does not exist. The world cannot understand it as long as they remain the way they are. “You are not the news for the great “media” of the world. If there was a scandal here, that would be news for them. Because the world it surprised that you are leaving behind the world of entertainment and you come here in this hot weather to pray for a week! The world cannot understand that. “But God and the Mother of God are here for them, and they patiently wait for them to accept the grace and consolation and to realize that man does not only live on bread but every word that comes from the mouth of God. “You, dear young brothers and sisters, know why you are here!! What gathered you here. You were gathered by the safety that God loves you immensely. He makes you capable to love yourself. By the power of His love He makes you brothers and sisters. He gathers you into one family of God’s people. It is so strong that after this encounter that love will go to all parts of the world. Because you will know that you are loved. And the one who knows that he is loved will not remain passive, but will respond in the same way, by love. “With Our Lady’s intercession in your hearts, you can penetrate the words of the Lord, “Love one another, just as I have loved you.” In that way you will love one another. That inner strength of love brought you here, despite all the difficulties, so that you may show that you are loved. So that you may witness to the world, that still does not know God, or who consciously refuses God, the patience that is God and His love….” (The first part of the Homily for the Evening Mass on Day 2 of the Youth Festival, Fr. Miljenko Steko!) Here is the link to Fr. Miljenko Steko’s homily: https://marytv.tv/youth-festival-2021/?smid=icrtiVs0TJD&slid=6HAZozrsm6t Fr. Steko spoke so beautifully of the powerful love of Our Lady in Medjugorje! As you can see, he is totally aware of Our Lady’s presence in Medjugorje, and of her motherly guidance and care for all who come to her there!! We are all her children!! May we feel her presence in these days and rely completely upon her! Here is the Schedule for Tuesday, Day 3 of the Festival! Join us at Mary TV!! August 2, 2021 Reflection – Medjugorje Youth Festival, Day 2

Day 1 of the Youth Festival, 2021 – From the Air!! August 2, 2021 Day 2 of the Youth Festival 2021 Dear Family of Mary! The Youth Festival began yesterday evening, with the prayer of the Rosary, and then the Solemn welcoming of all the nations represented at the festival. As always it was an inspiring moment to see all those flags presented to us. So many countries gathered together!! Then Archbishop Luigi Pezzuto, the Apostolic Nuncio for Bosnia/Hercegovina, delivered a letter from Pope Francis, blessing the gathering and encouraging us to prayer and holiness. It was inspiring! Then Holy Mass was celebrated by Cardinal Sarah! The Cardinal spoke much about our call as Catholics, and the plight of our world today, with paganism growing and so little strength left in the Church. He called on us to run to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, our only hope and our source of life. He concluded with these moving words: “We remember from the Gospels the words that Jesus spoke at the Institution of the Eucharist on Holy Thursday, “This is my Body, this is my Blood.” And we priests, who are the other Christs, we repeat these words, ‘This is my body, this is my blood.’ “And we adopt the teachings of the Church Fathers, especially St. Cyril of Alexandria, who expressed this about the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. ‘The Body of the Lord is life-giving. It is the Body of the Word of God the Father. It comes to purify me. it comes to edify me. I become that which I have received.’ “And now we know what was the great trial of the dark night of faith that St. Teresa of Calcutta underwent for 50 years. She always believed, but she was completely deprived of any consolation. Before the exposed Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, it was difficult for her to pray. She experienced dryness like so many saints before her, i.e. St. Theresa of Avila, St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, to name just a few. “Some would ask Mother Teresa, ‘How can you love these excluded and abandoned people whose bodies are so disfigured?’ And her answer was, ‘Thanks to the Holy Eucharist, namely daily Holy Communion and Adoration.’ “Dear brothers and sisters, with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mediatrix of all graces, who gave her Son to the world, when on the day of the Annunciation she gave her fiat, ‘Let it be done to me…’ let us work courageously for God’s work, seeking first of all and most of all for His Kingdom. Let us trust in Him. Let us be assured that everything else, namely His grace and eternal happiness will be granted to us besides. “I humbly implore you, let us approach the Sacred Eucharist, let us receive the Sacred Eucharist, and let us love Him in silence in Adoration. May Our Lady of Medjugorje convert us, and help us to do God’s work, and may she bless us all, Amen!” Cardinal Sarah rightly focused on our relationship to Jesus, present among us in the Eucharist, as our only hope of winning the battle for souls in our day. Only Jesus can give us the wisdom and strength to live a holy life full of joy and hope, like Mother Teresa did. And he called on Our Lady of Medjugorje to help us!!! This was a moment of intense joy for us all. Yes, Our Lady of Medjugorje! She will help us to know, love and serve her Son in the Blessed Sacrament! You can watch all the sessions of the Festival in the Archive “Youth Festival 2021” at this link: https://marytv.tv/youth-festival-2021/ Here is the Schedule for Monday, Day 2 of the Festival! July 30, 2021 Reflection – “Our Lady, Champion General – Victorious!

Our Lady, Champion General July 30, 2021 St. Peter Chrysologus Dear Family of Mary! As Fr. Leon told us: “Who is she that comes forth as the morning rising, Fair as the moon, bright as the sun, Terrible as an army set in battle array?” (Song of Songs 6:10) It is Mary, Mother of Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords!  She is: “Yper-machịtikós Stratịgós.” “Super-fighting General.” “Champion Leader.” “Champion General” Remember in some medieval paintings of Our Lady, she is holding a huge bat and she’s beating these demons; she’s whacking the stuffing out of them. This is who she is, Our Champion General. We are at war, and it is a disaster if we don’t realize it. (Fr. Leon – Homily for All Saints Day 2020) We are at war. We always have been and on this earth we always will be. But our Queen is victorious. Let us pray to her as our Victor Queen: Litany of Our Lady of Victory Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us. Christ, graciously hear us. God, the Father of Heaven, Have mercy on us. God, the Son, Redeemer of the World, Have mercy on us. July 29, 2021 Reflection – “Our Lady, Champion General”

Our Lady, Champion General July 29, 2021 Sts. Martha, Mary and Lazarus Dear Family of Mary! Here again is the message from Our Lady for July 25, 2021: “Dear children! I am calling you to be prayer for all those who do not pray. Little children, witness with your lives the joy that you are mine and God will heed your prayers and give you peace in this peaceless world where pride and selfishness reign. Little children, you be generous and be the love of my love, so that pagans can feel that you are mine and convert to my Immaculate Heart. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 2021) I have noticed in this most recent message, that Our Lady is giving out orders with vigor! “…Be prayer for all those who do not pray!” “…Witness with your lives the joy that you are mine!” “…You be generous and be the love of my love…” She is giving us commands, much like a general in a battle would do. We are her children, and also her infantrymen. She has a job for us to do. And it is all about winning a battle. It is a battle for souls. Fr. Leon spoke about the battle that Our Lady is fighting with us on this earth in his homily of All Saints Day, November 1, 2020, at English Mass. It is a moving homily. Here is the link: https://marytv.tv/english-homily-in-medjugorje-2/?smid=N0LWfAsANYy&slid=IRBKmbjFsDA I just want to share the transcription of part of that homily, in which Fr. Leon talks about Our Lady as a commander in the battle: The scriptures apply to Our Lady – popularized by the Legion of Mary; there’s a clue in the word “Legion,” again, army term – it says, in the Song of Songs, Chapter 6, Verse 10: “Who is she that comes forth as the morning rising, Fair as the moon, bright as the sun, Terrible as an army set in battle array?” And lest we think that this is some kind of western exaggeration, the eastern church goes much further. They call Our Lady: “Yper-machịtikós Stratịgós.” Now, “Yper-machịtikós;” “Super-fighting.” “Stratịgós,” this is where we get the word “strategy” from; it means, “general.” “Super-fighting General.” Or, really, we translate this as, “Champion General,” or “Champion Leader.” In the “Akathistos Hymn,” we say that again and again.  “Champion General.” Remember in some medieval paintings of Our Lady, she is holding a huge bat and she’s beating these demons; she’s whacking the stuffing out of them. This is who she is, Our Champion General. We are at war, and it is a disaster if we don’t realize it. (Fr. Leon – Homily for All Saints Day 2020) We are at war and it is a disaster if we don’t realize it! Father Leon’s words give us great clarity. This is a battle between the Woman and her seed and Satan and his seed! Our lives are lived in a battle zone. It is a battle for eternal life. I feel very strongly that Our Lady has stepped out as our Champion General in these days. She is leading us in a battle for souls. And she needs us to follow her leadership. She has given us three commands in this message. They must be important for her to speak so directly to us. We need to try our best to do as she says!! “…Be prayer for all those who do not pray!” “…Witness with your lives the joy that you are mine!” “…You be generous and be the love of my love…” Let’s ask the Holy Spirit again to help us: Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit O God, send forth your Holy Spirit into my heart that I may perceive, into my mind that I may remember, and into my soul that I may meditate. Inspire me to speak with piety, holiness, tenderness and mercy. Teach, guide and direct my thoughts and senses from beginning to end. May your grace ever help and correct me, and may I be strengthened now with wisdom from on high, for the sake of your infinite mercy. Amen. In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2021

July 28, 2021 Reflection – “Be prayer for all those who do not pray…”

Be prayer for all those who do not pray… July 28, 2021 Dear Family of Mary! Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 2021) “I am calling you to be prayer for all those who do not pray…” We are often asked to pray for those who do not pray, to intercede for them, to say novenas on their behalf, but it is not so often that Our Lady calls us to “be prayer” for those who do not pray. This request comes from her heart. I feel an urgency in her words. “I am calling you to be prayer for all those who do not pray…’ Those who do not pray are her children who are neglecting their relationship with God. They may not know Him at all, or they may have rejected Him due to some suffering in their lives. They may have never heard of Him. Or they may have never been shown how to pray. But the fact remains, they do not pray. Without prayer they are at risk. They are adrift in a world of danger. They have no compass. Without prayer, they cannot receive the love God has for them. They cannot begin to understand His call. They are rudderless and vulnerable. The devil can fill that void with temptations and false hopes. Without prayer, they are in great danger. Those who do not pray are like lost sheep without a shepherd. So Our Lady calls to us, “be prayer for all those who do not pray.” What can this mean? How can we be prayer for others? I asked Denis this question and he said: “Just pray. You pray. That is what it means. You be the one to pray…period.” I think he is right! There is no technique, no set of prayers, no attitude to take on. Our Lady has called us to pray the Rosary, to pray the Mass, to pray in Adoration, to pray Novenas and devotional prayer, to pray as we fast, to pray in the family, to pray the Scriptures, to pray in silence with the Lord…to pray. This is how we “be prayer.” And as we pray, she will gather our prayers and apply them to those who do not pray where ever she can. Those who do not pray will received the grace to pray, and they will be able to find their way! God will break through the barriers and come to their aid. May we “be prayer…” from now on, constantly! Let’s ask the Holy Spirit again to help us: Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit O God, send forth your Holy Spirit into my heart that I may perceive, into my mind that I may remember, and into my soul that I may meditate.

July 27, 2021 Reflection – Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit

Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit! July 27, 2021 Dear Family of Mary! Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 2021) I must admit that I do not feel ready to comment on or talk about this message. Our Lady is speaking to us very directly about the world that we live in. She is speaking forthrightly. So let’s just quiet our hearts and take some time to listen to her words before we speak about them. Read the message a few times, and then listen for direction from the Holy Spirit. It is much better to wait for direction from the Spirit, than to act or speak without reflection!! Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit O God, send forth your Holy Spirit into my heart that I may perceive, into my mind that I may remember, and into my soul that I may meditate.
