October 24, 2019 – Marijana Vasilj Juricic shares her story! Part 3!

Marijana Vasilj Juricic Inner Locutionist in Medjugorje   October 24, 2019St. Anthony Mary Claret Dear Family of Mary! October 25, 1989 “Dear children! Today also I am inviting you to prayer. I am always inviting you, but you are still far away. Therefore, from today, decide seriously to dedicate time to God. I am with you and I wish to teach you to pray with the heart. In prayer with the heart you shall encounter God. Therefore, little children, pray, pray, pray! Thank you for having responded to my call.”  Today we conclude the witness of Marijana Vasilj Juricic. She tells us today about the main messages in Medjugorje and how she understands them. You can see that she has been living them all these years. She has a very peaceful countenance. MaryTV More from Medjugorje Marijana Vasilj Juricic October 17, 2019Part 3 Our Lady also here in Medjugorje on many occasions spoke about the Time of Grace. All these years of her presence are the time of grace for each one of us personally. Our Lady says, before God there are no privileged ones. Each one of us is equally important before God. The most important thing is how much each one of us has responded to Our Lady’s invitation and God’s invitation.   Our Lady in the beginning of the apparitions said to the visionaries in Medjugorje, what I started in Medjugorje is a great plan of God that refers to the entire world. And Our Lady is inviting us to change and to convert in this Time of Grace, because, she says that later, it will be much harder to convert and to change.   And one of the first invitations here in Medjugorje, and one of the most important invitations to the world was the invitation to Conversion. Our Lady said you cannot convert in one day, or in a few days’ time. Conversion is a life-long process. Every day we have a new opportunity to do something more and to do something better. And as the late Father Slavko Barbaric, priest, used to say here, we can never be so good not to be able to become better and better each day.   Here in Medjugorje, we are all part of Our Lady’s school, her School of Prayer, her School of Love. We all know that in school we should be trying hard to become better and to learn something more and more each day. And this is the same with Our Lady’s School here, it’s the School of the Heart. Our Lady wants that everything we do; we do with the heart.   But she says, these great changes in your life, dear children, will only take place with your complete surrender to God, and with your personal prayer.   So, just to sum it up, everything that Our Lady has been asking of us in all these years, everything she has been giving to us in the messages that she gave us: Invitation to Prayer!Personal Prayer! Family – the most important – Prayer! If possible, to also be Members of Prayer Groups! To go for Daily Holy Mass! To Confess! To Receive Holy Communion! That we with our lives may witness to people our faith! These are the most important things which Our Lady has been repeating in all these years to us.    And in the beginning of the apparitions Our Lady was asking of us here in the parish, that every family have a Holy Bible in a visible place. That every day we may read a short part from the Holy Bible and meditate on that little excerpt from the Bible.   And many people in the beginning of the apparitions through visionaries wanted to ask Our Lady certain questions. And it was not possible for all these questions to be raised, or for Our Lady to answer. Then Our Lady said once, why do you need to ask so many questions when you have the answers in the Holy Bible? That is how Our Lady told us that Holy Bible is so important in the life of each one of us.   What she told us is that her messages are not new messages. Her messages are messages of the Holy Bible and the Gospel. And when we live what she has been inviting us to, we will be living the Holy Bible. And that is the most important in our lives.   And at the end, I would just like to say that here in Medjugorje every day we pray for all of you pilgrims, for all those of your intentions, and especially for all those who are sick. But we would like to ask you that you pray for us too. That you may remember us in your prayers. We are all in need of prayers nowadays. And so, we entrust to your prayers, our parish, all the priests who are working actively here, and all the visionaries too.   We did receive a great gift from Our Lady, that she came here, that she chose this parish, but also a great responsibility at the same time. And so, let us pray for each other, because Our Lady told us that in prayer we would all be closer to Jesus. Our Lady’s desire is for each one of us to be closer to Jesus. So, this is just the summing up of the most important experience from Our Lady that I had.     QUESTIONS:   Marijana, the question was, do you ever feel sad now that you are not able to hear Our Lady personally? Answer: So, Our Lady when she first started to talk to us, she told us immediately that the gift we received is not going to be for entire life, it’s just going to be for a certain period of time, and we knew that it was going to stop. And Our Lady explained to us that she wasn’t with us only in the moments when she talked to us, when we heard her, but that she’s with us in every moment of our life, especially when we pray. But of course, when her messages stopped, when she no longer spoke to us, we felt great emptiness.     What is Our Lady asking of us today? Answer: So, Our Lady, many times, and especially recently has been through the visionaries here in Medjugorje inviting everyone to pray for her intentions. She did not specifically say which are these intentions. But she asks of us to pray for her intentions. And, we for a long time have been praying for Our Lady’s intentions. So, that is just, I think, how it’s supposed to be.     Marijana’s closing thoughts:   I would like to say that all the messages that Our Lady gave to us and to our prayer group, we wrote down those messages. And most of these messages you can find in late Father Slavko’s books. And especially in the book Pray Together with a Joyful Heart. And this is the book that refers to prayer groups and how prayer groups should be praying. And Father Slavko took those messages and put them, combined them in that book. And in that book, you can find many prayers that Our Lady dictated to Jelena in the beginning of the apparitions. And Our Lady in a special way emphasized two consecration prayers: Consecration to Her Immaculate Heart, and Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. And she asked each one of us to say daily those prayers in our families.   And if you would like to learn how to pray better as a family or as a prayer group, I think this book can help you a lot. Because Father Slavko left many precious advices and guidelines in that book: Pray Together with a Joyful Heart. Thank you to Marijana for sharing so deeply with us her experience of Our Lady in Medjugorje!! We will be praying for her and her family in gratitude. October 23, 2019 – Marijana Vasilj Juricic shares her story! Part 2!

Jelena Vasilj Valente and Marijana Vasilj Juricic Inner Locutionists in Medjugorje beginning in 1983     October 23, 2019 St. John of Capistrano   Dear Family of Mary!    Wednesday, November 23, 1983 To Jelena: “Oh my sweet children, pray! I ask you only to pray. You yourselves can see that only prayer can save.” Today we have Part 2 of Marijana Vasilj Juricic’s sharing about her experience with Our Lady of Medjugorje. She continues to share all that she learned from Our Lady through the inner locutions she received in the 80’s. It is amazing how clearly Marijana remembers everything about that time. Our Lady taught Marijana so much about prayer, things we all need to know:   MaryTVMore from MedjugorjeMarijana Vasilj JuricicOctober 17, 2019Part 2 When Our Lady speaks about prayer, most of all she speaks about Prayer with the Heart. We all wondered, and I believe that you wonder, too: what does Prayer with the Heart mean? And Our Lady gave a simple answer. She said, “Prayer with the Heart cannot be explained. Prayer with the Heart can only be lived.”   And this means that it depends on each one of us personally how we live our personal prayer. How much time we spend praying in a day – do we give any time to God throughout our day? And Our Lady says in order to Pray with the Heart, prayer needs to be in the first place. Every day needs to start and finish with prayer.   Our Lady told us that in the beginning of the day we should be praying to God, offering Him our day, asking Him to give us a blessing in this day, to guide us and to lead us. And at the end of the day, we should always be saying the prayers of gratitude and thanksgiving to God.   In our prayer group, in a specific way, Our Lady invited us to say spontaneous prayers from our heart. Because, she said these prayers are the easiest way to have our hearts opened. Our Lady told us that prayer is not just repeating the words, that prayer should be encounter with God. Talking to Him. And with our spontaneous prayers, what we can do, is that we can open our hearts, as it were in conversation with God, and in that way, our heart would be open to others around us. Our Lady was asking of our prayer group that our prayer meeting starts and finishes with spontaneous prayer.   And she also told us, never forget, dear children, the prayer of thanking God. Because the prayer of gratitude, the thanksgiving to God, is going to bring so much more joy and peace in our hearts. Our Lady says, you need to be aware that your life is a gift of God. Only for that reason you should be unceasingly thanking God.   Apart from spontaneous prayers, Our Lady asked of us: to say the Rosary, to say 7 Our Fathers, Hail Mary’s, and Glory Be’s, to read the Holy Scripture, to meditate, to say the Rosary of Jesus, and also Conversation — talking about messages and meditating on the messages Our Lady gave to our prayer group. And then, what would follow, would be an exchange of the experiences of each of us who were members of the prayer group. Our Lady said that the most important prayer that should always be at the first place in our lives is Holy Mass. And she invited us to go to Holy Mass every day, if possible.   Our Lady also invited the whole parish to go every day to Holy Mass in the beginning of the apparitions. And that is how the evening prayer program started here in the church of St. James. And the Holy Mass in the evening is in gratitude for Our Lady’s presence for all these years.   For us who are members of the prayer group, these four years that we spent with Our Lady in her school as she led our prayer group, was like a school of prayer. It wasn’t a school of prayer that lasted for four years. It is a school of prayer for our entire life. Most of all Our Lady was teaching us how to live our faith. And Our Lady says without prayer, your faith will not be alive. That is why she always invited us to prayer in her messages.   And what Our Lady was asking of us, is for the personal witness. That what we experienced, we may witness in our lives. It wasn’t enough just to do that with words, but we needed to witness that by life. Our Lady was asking of us first, to be an example; example to our families, to our children, to our spouses, and then to all other people.     And, thanks be to God, that in the beginning, when Our Lady invited us, she invited also all other people to join us, and many people have joined and started prayer groups themselves. In a certain message that Our Lady would give us, Our Lady specifically mentioned all pilgrims. She would thank all pilgrims who were coming to Medjugorje. Because it was here in Medjugorje, that everyone who comes is invited to a change of life. So, Our Lady first wanted us to change our lives. So then, you who are coming here, would be able to be changed too.   Our Lady also said (this is very important to know) that none of you who came to Medjugorje, came here accidentally. Each one of you have received a special invitation from God to be here. And the most important is to be able to understand this invitation of God. Why is God calling me? What does God want from me? And our answer and response, we can find that only in our everyday personal prayer.   When it comes to prayer, realize that it is not something that you will do only for a few days while you are in Medjugorje. You need to continue prayer when you go back home. Our Lady said in one of the messages, for every pilgrim, it is important not to finish the pilgrimage on the last day of the pilgrimage here in Medjugorje, but that the pilgrimage actually continues when you go back home. And your pilgrimage can continue, if you continue living prayer, and if you continue living the messages she gave to us here.   And Our Lady was also asking something of each one of you. She said that when you come here to Medjugorje, when you experience the messages, when you experience this new way of life, you need to go back home and become an example to others, not by talking about Medjugorje, but by living what you have learned here.   And we are aware, especially those of us who live here in Medjugorje, how easy it is to just talk about the messages of Our Lady, to say to people, what the messages are; but how hard it is when we have to witness them, and when we have to show them in our practical life.   And Our Lady said in one of the messages, “Dear children, the journey that I am taking you on is not an easy journey at all.” Our Lady says, this is the journey that has many obstacles, lots of crosses, lots of temptations. But Our Lady says and promises to us, do not be afraid of anything for I am with you.   And these words of Our Lady should always be a personal encouragement to us when we think that it’s hard, when we think that we cannot go on. Then it is most important to open our hearts to Our Lady in prayer, and to allow her to lead us. And we who know the messages of Our Lady, we know that the most important message that Our Lady has been constantly giving to us is an invitation to prayer.   And very often, pilgrims would ask us, why does Our Lady speak about prayer so much? Why doesn’t she speak about something else? Give us some new message? We, as humans, we want always new messages, and we don’t even absorb the most basic messages that we are initially given.   But Our Lady said in one of the messages, “Dear children, prayer is the only thing that can change you.” Through prayer God will be changing you. God will first change your heart, your life, your families. And only then God will change the situation in the world. Because we can change the world only when each one of us personally is changed.   If Our Lady said prayer is the only thing, there’s nothing else then. And that is why Our Lady for so many years, always again has been giving us this invitation to prayer. As she once said: she did not come here… that her presence here for these many years is not so that she would give some sort of new message to the world. She said that she is here with us as a mother so that she could bring us all on the way of conversion closer to her son, Jesus. But without our open heart, without our acceptance, Our Lady, even if she wanted, would not be able to help us. That is why with our everyday prayer, we need to open ourselves to Our Lady, and we need to allow her to lead us.   And one other very important message for pilgrims. Our Lady says many pilgrims come here to Medjugorje, they pray for some special grace from God. And she says, very often it happens, that people come here, they ask for special grace, they pray to receive something, and yet they haven’t confessed. Without confession, without a confessed heart, God cannot give us these graces.   That is why Our Lady invites us to regular confession. That through confession we would ask first for forgiveness from God. Only then, our hearts will be free from every sin. Our hearts will be cleansed. And this kind of heart can pray and receive every grace from God.   And here in Medjugorje, many pilgrims have come to us with their testimonies, that confession was the moment that changed their lives. They were able to confess here after 10, or 20, or 30, or 40, or even more years. And today, many priests even refer to Medjugorje as the greatest confessional of the whole world. So, this is very important to understand in our Christian faith life.   Our Lady says that the greatest sign is the sign of our inner change, our inner conversion of our heart. So, this is our confirmation. It is not about the outer signs. It is not about what we will see around us. It is about what will take place within us…..   Tomorrow we will have the final installment!  In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan©Mary TV 2019

October 22, 2019 – Marijana Vasilj Juricic shares her story!

Marijana Vasilj Juricic and her translator in the St. John Paul II Hall, Medjugorje!   October 22, 2019Feast of St. John Paul II, Pope   Dear Family of Mary! Today’s feast for St. John Paul II is very important for those of us who are responding to Our Lady’s call. Pope John Paul II loved Medjugorje! He believed that Our Lady was truly present there, and that she had come to renew the Church. Mary TV completed a Novena in honor of St. John Paul II today! For nine days pilgrims joined with a priest after English Mass to pray the Angelus and the novena prayers for St. John Paul. Mary TV filmed these prayers and they are aired throughout the day on Mary TV’s Channel!! It is a great addition to our prayers!! Thank you, St. John Paul II for hearing our prayers and interceding for us all! I know that St. John Paul is happy that we can share something beautiful today! On October 17, 2019, Marijana Vasilj Juricic gave a talk in the St. John Paul II Hall in Medjugorje. Marijana was a little girl when the apparitions began. She and Jelena Vasilj began receiving inner locutions in 1982. Our Lady spoke to them for several years, and through them, she led a prayer group for young people. It was an extraordinary grace! Marijana is not often in the public eye, but she shared so very beautifully about Our Lady that we hope she will speak more often. Our shipmate, Stephanie, transcribed this very long talk. And I want to share the transcript with you all, as I find it very helpful, comforting and powerful! I will share it in three parts because of its length. You can also listen to Marijana’s talk in “More from Medjugorje” on Mary TV’s home page! Part 1. MaryTVMore from MedjugorjeMarijana Vasilj Juricic October 17, 2019     At the beginning, I would like to greet you all. We will say the prayer all together for God’s blessing. And then, I will share with you the most important about my personal experience and gift I received. And in the end, if we have time, maybe we will be able to answer one or two questions, if there are some very interesting questions, because it’s many of you. Thank you.   In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Our Father….Hail Mary….Glory be …. Our Lady, Queen of Peace, Pray for us!                   So, all of you probably have heard that in Medjugorje we have six visionaries who have been seeing Our Lady since 1981. Separate from the six of them who see Our Lady – who see her, who still see her every day – my friend, Jelena, and I received a little different gift. It is the gift of inner locution, which means that we were able to hear Our Lady in our heart, but we physically never saw Our Lady with our eyes.   Everything started with Jelena in December 1982. While she was in the classroom (she was a little girl going to the school) she heard a voice within her, which was the voice that introduced itself to her as the voice of her guardian angel. So, this voice of her guardian angel was speaking to Jelena, and it came for a few days, and was asking of Jelena to be preparing in prayer for an encounter with Our Lady.   Jelena was only 10 years old at that time, and up to that point, she really didn’t even know about the gift of inner locution. So, on December 15th, 1982, Jelena heard the voice of Our Lady for the first time.   The first message Our Lady gave to her was an invitation to prayer. But Our Lady did not invite only Jelena, she told her, you are welcome to invite all others who wish to pray with you.   So, Jelena first informed her family and she told us who were going to school with her about this experience she was having. And none of us, especially we children who were 10 years old, could understand what Jelena was talking to us about. This gift was unknown to us. But regardless of that, we simply, spontaneously started to pray with Jelena in the way that Our Lady was requesting from us.   Our Lady’s desire was that every day at 3 o’clock in the afternoon we would say the Rosary together. In the beginning, there were around 10 of us, and we prayed with Jelena every day. And eventually, with time, more and more people were coming to join us and to pray with us.   So, three months later I was praying every day with Jelena, and I was able to hear the voice of Our Lady. It started in March 1983. From that day on, for a long time, for many years, nearly every single day, both Jelena and I were able to hear the voice of Our Lady.   The hardest part for us to explain to people was the melody and the sound of Our Lady’s voice. What we can say is that this is a sort of the inner voice that does not have the characteristics of the human voice. It is a voice that we were never able to control. And it is a voice that we would only hear specifically during the time of the prayer. This is a voice that to some extent, we can compare to the voice of our consciousness. But at the same time, this is a voice that does not come from our thoughts, from our head, from our mind, it comes from our heart and from our soul, and it is filling our soul and our interior.   What gave us certainty and what gave us confidence that this was the voice that was coming from God, was this great, profound peace and joy we would feel in those moments. In those moments, Jelena and I were not in the state of ecstasy like the visionaries would be during the time of the apparition. We were always able to be aware of people around us, of the space around us, yet the peace we would feel in our hearts was something different.   We can say that the messages, the main messages that Our Lady gave us were similar to the messages of the visionaries. These are the main messages Our Lady gave us at the beginning of the apparitions: An invitation to Prayer, to Fasting, Conversion, Penance. Jelena and I never received any messages or secrets like other visionaries have received, and Our Lady never told us anything about the future of the world.   What Our Lady wanted from us was something different from her desire for the other visionaries. She expressed the desire that the two of us start a prayer group that would be formed of youth living in Medjugorje at that time. We were only 11 and 12 years old, and we were thinking, how are we going to do that? How are we going to realize that? But Our Lady said, please share this message with the priests in the parish, and they will help you.   So, when we gave this message to the priests, one of the priests responded, and he invited the rest of the youth to come and to join our prayer group if they wished. the prayer group that we established was the second prayer group that Our Lady asked for here in Medjugorje. A few months before Our Lady had requested this of us, she had asked for a prayer group from Ivan, the visionary. And she especially emphasized also to Ivan that she wanted youth to be the members of that prayer group.   Once, we asked Our Lady, why did she, in a special way, invite youth to be members of the prayer group? Our Lady’s response was that she was very worried for all the youth around the world. She told us that many young people live without God, without prayer. And many of them are lost on their life journey. So, Our Lady wanted to give us an example and show us the true way which we should take. First, to us who were in this chosen parish, and then to all others who would be coming here.   In those moments, when the message was first given, none of us could understand, why and how the messages of Our Lady would be spread all over the world in various prayer groups. But when the many pilgrims who arrived in Medjugorje, heard this invitation of Our Lady to form prayer groups similar to the one she started with us, they wanted the same thing, and they established prayer groups all over the world.   Today, we can say that there are thousands of similar prayer groups that are a fruit of Medjugorje, that pray all over the world. In one message, specifically Our Lady said that she’s very joyful because of all these people who are gathering in prayer groups, who pray together, who give their time, and she blesses them all and encourages them to continue doing so.   When it comes to our prayer group, 60 young people responded to Our Lady’s invitation; they started to pray with us. And we had this beautiful gift, a beautiful gift that was given to us, that the leader of our prayer group for many years was Our Lady. Because in the messages Our Lady was giving either to me or to Jelena, she was leading our prayer group all the time.   But, before joining the group, each one of us who agreed to be a member of the prayer group, was asked by Our Lady for a certain, you could say, condition from us. She wanted each one of us to remain for four years a member of the prayer group, to not choose in those four years their life vocation or calling, to not get married, and to all agree together to be prepared to do this for this long period. When the prayer group was first established, Our Lady asked for the prayer to be only once a week. Then she asked, prayer meetings twice a week, then she asked for prayer meetings three times a week. Our Lady was leading us in this prayer journey, step by step. But she also told us that it is not just enough to be praying as part of a prayer group. Our Lady was inviting us to our personal prayer. She was inviting us to our everyday personal encounter with God. She was inviting us to prayer in our families.   And here in Medjugorje, we can say that Our Lady invited us and our families on numerous occasions to the family prayer. Our Lady says that every family is the first and the most important prayer group. Our Lady recommends prayer of the Rosary as the most powerful prayer for our families. Many times, she invited families, and she would repeat this message of praying the Rosary together on many occasions.   In one message, she said to us, “The Rosary, dear children, is the strongest weapon in the fight, in the battle against evil and devil.” She said,” with Rosaries you can even stop wars. First wars within us, and then wars that are all over the world.”   In one of the messages, Our Lady even said, “Dear children, when you are tired, when you are lonely, when you do not see the purpose of your life anymore, in those moments, grasp the Rosary and pray the Rosary. Meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary.” And then, Our Lady said in one of the most recent messages here in Medjugorje to visionaries, that we in our lives, we go through both joyful and sorrowful mysteries, and at the end we have glorious mysteries at the end of our lives.   Our Lady said that every person who prays first in his family as a little prayer community, those people would be open more to be able to pray in the prayer groups. October 21, 2019 – Ivan greets Our Lady at the Blue Cross

The Blue Cross during Ivan’s prayer group last Friday Night.   October 21, 2019 Dear Family of Mary! On October 18, Our Lady appeared to Ivan at the Blue Cross during his prayer group meeting. After that encounter, Ivan described his meeting with Our Lady in this way: I would like to describe to you tonight’s meeting together with Our Lady. Also, today Our Lady came to us, very joyful and happy. She greeted all of us with her motherly greeting, “Praised be Jesus, my dear children.” Then she continued to pray here over all of you. She prayed with her arms extended over all of us. For a longer while tonight, Our Lady especially prayed for peace. Peace in the world. She also told us: “In a special way, in this time, pray for peace.” Then she gave us her motherly blessing and blessed everything that you have brought to be blessed. Then I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families. In a special way, all of you who are priests present here, I prayed for your intentions. Then Our Lady continued to pray over all of us here. She left in a prayer, in the illuminated sign of the cross, with the words, “Go in peace, my dear children.” Remember, and again I emphasize, that Our Lady prayed for a longer time for peace in the world. Thank you. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan©Mary TV 2019

October 18, 2019 – Thank you, St. Luke!

(c)Mary TV/Anthony Zubac   October 18, 2019St. Luke, Evangelist Dear Family of Mary! To Jelena: “I’m going to reveal a spiritual secret to you: if you want to be stronger than evil, make yourself a plan of personal prayer. Take a certain time in the morning, read a text from Holy Scripture, anchor the Divine word in your heart, and strive to live it during the day, particularly during the moment of trials. In this way, you will be stronger than evil.” (April 19, 1984) Our Lady gave us a spiritual secret! Secrets are always one to one. So, this secret is just for you. Our Lady wants you to be protected from the evil one. And she knows that the words of Sacred Scripture are a great defense against him. The words of Scripture can fend off temptation, like a sword can fend off an enemy. It says in Ephesians 6 that we need to put on the whole armor of God, which includes “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph 6:17). With the words of Scripture firmly planted in our hearts each day, you can withstand the temptations of the devil. Today is the Feast of St. Luke, the Evangelist. St. Luke wrote much of the New Testament, including his Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles. He wrote the most about Our Lady of any Evangelist!!! Let’s read his anointed words about the coming of Jesus in time, His Incarnation and the Visitation. What a joy it is to know all these wonderful things about Jesus and Mary! Luke, 1:26-56 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.” And Mary said to the angel, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?”      And the angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, and she entered the house of Zechari’ah and greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away. He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity forever.” And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her home. (Lk 1:26-56) Thank you, St. Luke, for giving us these sacred words that teach us, generation after generation, about the love and the mercy of God and the glory of His coming through Mary. Amen!! October 17, 2019 – To Love and to Give

(c)Mary TV    October 17, 2019St. Ignatius of Antioch Dear Family of Mary! “Everything that is best for you, everything that leads you to eternal life, will be given to you. You will comprehend that the purpose of life is not always to want and take, but to love and give. You will have true peace and true love. You will be apostles of love…” (October 2, 2019) I find this section of Our Lady’s message to be so beautiful, so comforting, so strong and true! God will supply everything we need if we turn to Him and stop trying to provide everything for ourselves. When we take our lives in our own hands, we begin to want and to take. Wanting and taking is deadly. Even when what we want is a good thing, like virtue, we can set about to want it and take it for ourselves. And we end up like pharisees. Our only hope is to love and to give. That is the way to peace and joy. Let God give to us, let Our Lady give to us, all we need. We will turn and give all they give to us to others, and that is what life is supposed to be all about! I believe that the Lord is the giver of all good things. He will be abundantly generous to us if we turn to Him and open our hearts to receive. He will prepare the way for us to find eternal life. I looked in Our Lady’s messages for the times she spoke about what God wants to give us, or about what she wants to give us. Here are a few of those gifts: May 22, 1986 “Dear children! Today I wish to give you my own love.” December 25, 1987 “Dear children! Rejoice with me! My heart is rejoicing because of Jesus and today I want to give Him to you. Dear children, I want each one of you to open your heart to Jesus and I will give Him to you with love.” December 25, 2002 “Be conscious of this gift that God has permitted me to be with you, especially today when in my arms I have little Jesus – the King of Peace. I desire to give you peace, and that you carry it in your hearts and give it to others until God’s peace begins to rule the world.” November 25, 2005 “Little children, at this time, in a special way, I pray before God to give you the gift of faith. Only in faith will you discover the joy of the gift of life that God has given you. Your heart will be joyful thinking of eternity. December 25, 2010 Dear children! Today, I and my Son desire to give you an abundance of joy and peace so that each of you may be a joyful carrier and witness of peace and joy in the places where you live.”   October 25, 2011 “Today I desire to give you the joy of the Risen One, that He may lead you and embrace you with His love and tenderness.” March 25, 2012 “Dear children! Also, today, with joy, I desire to give you my motherly blessing.” April 25, 2019  “You, little children, be the joy of the risen Jesus who died and resurrected for each of you. He conquered death to give you life, eternal life. August 02, 2012 I am imploring my Son to give you pure hearts.” October 02, 2016 “Dear children, the Holy Spirit, according to the Heavenly Father, made me the mother – the mother of Jesus – and by this alone, also your mother. That is why I am coming to hear you, that I may open my motherly arms to you; to give you my heart and to call you to remain with me, because from the top of the cross my Son entrusted you to me.” Our Lady’s heart is a total gift to us! She is with us to bless, heal, strengthen, teach and lead us to God. The more we are with her, the more we will begin to understand that it is in loving and giving that we find true happiness and peace. We find the way to God! Thank you, dearest Mother, for being with us all these years, in order to give to us your heart and the Heart of your Son, Jesus, as our refuge and hope. October 16, 2019 – Adore my Son with me!

(c)Mary TV / Anthony Zubac 2019    October 16, 2019St. HedwigSt. Margaret Mary Alacoque Dear Family of Mary! “…My children, apostles of my love, adore my Son with me and love Him above all. Always strive to live in His truth…” (October 2, 2019) Sometimes in a message Our Lady will say something simple that could be overlooked. In this message she said, “My children, apostles of my love, adore my Son with me…” And immediately as I read those words, I felt a rush of joy! I had an image of the outdoor altar behind St. James Church, surrounded by thousands of pilgrims, in the dark, with the lights pointed on the huge monstrance on the altar which was holding the large Eucharistic Host. Thousands of pilgrims were silently gazing upon Jesus. Thousands of hearts were growing silent and opening to the rays of grace that flow from that Host. Thousands of minds were quieting, allowing the peace that only God can give, to penetrate them. Thousands of memories were being healed. Thousands of souls were being bathed in grace, allowing God to renew them. All in silence. All in the company of one woman, the Mother who adores with us. I believe that the grace of Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is augmented by the presence of Mary. She told us once: “Tonight also, dear children, I am grateful to you in a special way for being here. Unceasingly adore the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. I am always present when the faithful are adoring. Special graces are then being received.” March 15, 1984 Our Lady is always present when the faithful adore Jesus. But in Medjugorje, God has allowed her to be present in a very powerful way. She truly is in Medjugorje. And so, when we adore Jesus in Medjugorje, exposed on the Altar, we receive special graces! The Mother is adoring with us and praying for us. Her maternal presence helps us to focus on Jesus, to be at peace so we can receive His love. Her maternal care creates great trust in our hearts, so that we open to the Lord in a natural and childlike manner. Her motherly love teaches us how to love Jesus, to love our neighbor and to even love ourselves. We are transformed by such a moment with Jesus! Last week Mary TV began airing Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, live, daily from the Adoration Chapel in Medjugorje. It is a half hour of silent adoration. It is aired between Hour of Mercy and the Daily Rosary – 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm Medjugorje time each day except Sunday. Here is a response we received after the first live adoration: Dear Denis and Cathy -Thank you so much for the live stream of adoration this morning!!!  The grace that poured into my home was overwhelming. I do not understand what happened, but it did happen, and I can only hope that the whole meaning will be revealed as I pray about it. God Bless you and that amazing crew you have!!! Sincerely – J.R. I have that same experience every day now. Grace just pours into my home and my heart each day during that ½ hour of Adoration. I believe it is especially powerful because Our Lady is adoring with us, praying for us and inspiring us to open to her Son. And of course Mary TV also has the joy of streaming Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after the Evening Program in Medjugorje, on Tuesday night, Thursday night and often Saturday night! Like the thousands who adore Jesus at night in Medjugorje, we can all adore Jesus with Mary at our side, adoring with us!! Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament changes the world! October 15, 2019 – My children, Apostles of My Love!

(c)Mary TV / Anthony Zubac 2019    October 15, 2019 St. Teresa of Jesus Dear Family of Mary! “…By your example, you will make it so that my children who do not know my Son and His love may desire to come to know Him. My children, apostles of my love, adore my Son with me and love Him above all. Always strive to live in His truth. Thank you.” (October 2, 2019) From 1John 4: Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. In this is love perfected with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should love his brother also. (1John 4:7-21) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan©Mary TV 2019

October 14, 2019 – Abandon yourself completely to God!

(c)Mary TV / Anthony Zubac 2019    October 14, 2019St. Callistus I Dear Family of Mary! “…Abandon yourselves completely to His will and do not be afraid. Everything that is best for you, everything that leads you to eternal life, will be given to you. You will comprehend that the purpose of life is not always to want and take, but to love and give. You will have true peace and true love. You will be apostles of love….” (October 2, 2019) In our modern age, it is very hard to understand that everything about our existence is gift. We have been told over and over again that the world of matter just “is”. The word “creation” seems to have been erased from the dictionary, at least in terms of God the Creator. But we believe that God created the universe, and everything in it. We believe He is intimately involved in everything the exists, and that He is working in creation to bring us to Himself. That is why we should not be afraid. We are NOT ALONE in this world. The Catechism of the Catholic Church speaks directly to God as Creator in this section: IV. THE MYSTERY OF CREATION  God creates by wisdom and love 295 We believe that God created the world according to his wisdom.141 It is not the product of any necessity whatever, nor of blind fate or chance. We believe that it proceeds from God’s free will; he wanted to make his creatures share in his being, wisdom and goodness: “For you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”142 Therefore the Psalmist exclaims: “O LORD, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all”; and “The LORD is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.”143 God creates “out of nothing” 296 We believe that God needs no pre-existent thing or any help in order to create, nor is creation any sort of necessary emanation from the divine substance.144 God creates freely “out of nothing”:145  If God had drawn the world from pre-existent matter, what would be so extraordinary in that? A human artisan makes from a given material whatever he wants, while God shows his power by starting from nothing to make all he wants.146    297 Scripture bears witness to faith in creation “out of nothing” as a truth full of promise and hope. Thus the mother of seven sons encourages them for martyrdom: I do not know how you came into being in my womb. It was not I who gave you life and breath, nor I who set in order the elements within each of you. Therefore the Creator of the world, who shaped the beginning of man and devised the origin of all things, will in his mercy give life and breath back to you again, since you now forget yourselves for the sake of his laws. . . Look at the heaven and the earth and see everything that is in them, and recognize that God did not make them out of things that existed. Thus also mankind comes into being.147 298 Since God could create everything out of nothing, he can also, through the Holy Spirit, give spiritual life to sinners by creating a pure heart in them,148 and bodily life to the dead through the Resurrection. God “gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.”149 and since God was able to make light shine in darkness by his Word, he can also give the light of faith to those who do not yet know him.150 God creates an ordered and good world 299 Because God creates through wisdom, his creation is ordered: “You have arranged all things by measure and number and weight.”151 The universe, created in and by the eternal Word, the “image of the invisible God”, is destined for and addressed to man, himself created in the “image of God” and called to a personal relationship with God.152 Our human understanding, which shares in the light of the divine intellect, can understand what God tells us by means of his creation, though not without great effort and only in a spirit of humility and respect before the Creator and his work.153 Because creation comes forth from God’s goodness, it shares in that goodness – “and God saw that it was good. . . very good”154- for God willed creation as a gift addressed to man, an inheritance destined for and entrusted to him. On many occasions the Church has had to defend the goodness of creation, including that of the physical world.155 God transcends creation and is present to it 300 God is infinitely greater than all his works: “You have set your glory above the heavens.”156 Indeed, God’s “greatness is unsearchable”.157 But because he is the free and sovereign Creator, the first cause of all that exists, God is present to his creatures’ inmost being: “In him we live and move and have our being.”158 In the words of St. Augustine, God is “higher than my highest and more inward than my innermost self”.159 God upholds and sustains creation 301 With creation, God does not abandon his creatures to themselves. He not only gives them being and existence, but also, and at every moment, upholds and sustains them in being, enables them to act and brings them to their final end. Recognizing this utter dependence with respect to the Creator is a source of wisdom and freedom, of joy and confidence: For you love all things that exist, and detest none of the things that you have made; for you would not have made anything if you had hated it. How would anything have endured, if you had not willed it? Or how would anything not called forth by you have been preserved? You spare all things, for they are yours, O Lord, you who love the living.160   141 Cf. Wis 9:9. 142 ⇒ Rev 4:11.   143 ⇒ Pss 104:24; ⇒ 145:9.   144 Cf. October 11, 2019 – Trust in God

(c)Mary TV / Anthony Zubac 2019    October 11, 2019St. John XXIII Dear Family of Mary! “My children, the earthly life is the way to eternity, to truth, and to life-to my Son. I desire to lead you on that way. You, my children-you who always thirst for more love, truth, and faith-need to know that there is only one spring from which you can drink. It is trust in the Heavenly Father; it is trust in His love…” (October 2, 2019) The one spring from which we can drink is trust in the Heavenly Father. St. Faustina is the herald of this trust, complete trust in God. Here are two entries from her diary that I find very inspiring and comforting: (148) A noble and delicate soul, even the most simple, but one of delicate sensibilities, sees God in everything, finds Him everywhere, and knows how to find Him in even the most hidden things. It finds all things important, it highly appreciates all things, it thanks God for all things, it draws profit for the soul from all things, and it gives all glory to God. It places its trust in God and is not confused when the time of ordeals comes. It knows that God is always the best of Fathers and makes little of human opinion. It follows faithfully the faintest breath of the Holy Spirit; it rejoices in this Spiritual Guest and holds onto Him like a child to its mother. Where other souls come to a standstill and fear, this soul passes on without fear or difficulty. (589) Love casts out fear. Since I came to love God with my whole being and with all the strength of my heart, fear has left me. Even if I were to hear the most terrifying things about God’s justice, I would not fear Him at all, because I have come to know Him well. God is love, and His Spirit is peace. I see now that my deeds which have flowed from love are more perfect than those which I have done out of fear. I have placed my trust in God and fear nothing. I have given myself over to His holy will; let Him do with me as He wishes, and I will still love Him.  (From Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska. “Divine Mercy in my Soul”) Father we place ourselves completely in your hands. We trust in You and we love You! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan© Mary TV 2019
