November 25, 2020 Reflection – Invoke the help of all the saints!

Invoke the help of all the saints! November 25, 2020 St. Catherine of Alexandria, Virgin and Martyr Dear Family of Mary! Day 7 of our second novena for our countries and the world!  Here is our inspiration. Our Lady speaks to St. Faustina: “My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.” (Diary 325) Our Lady’s last message was a strong call to prayer, with a warning to us that Satan is strong and is fighting to draw all the more hearts to himself.  Let us recall her words today, as we await the new message and may we pray as she calls us: ”Dear children, At this time, I am calling you to return to God and to prayer. Invoke the help of all the saints, for them to be an example and a help to you. Satan is strong and is fighting to draw all the more hearts to himself. He wants war and hatred. That is why I am with you for this long, to lead you to the way of salvation, to Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Little children, return to the love for God and He will be your strength and refuge. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (October 25, 2020) Since Our Lady asked us to invoke the saints as an example and help to us, let’s pray the Litany of Saints today!   The Litany of the Saints Lord, have mercy on us. November 23, 2020 Reflection – Close to the Heart of My Son Jesus!

Close to the Heart of My Son Jesus! November 23, 2020 St. Columban St. Clement I Dear Family of Mary! Day 5 of our Novena for our countries and the world! In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.” (Diary 325) November 25, 2004 “Dear children! At this time, I call you all to pray for my intentions. Especially, little children, pray for those who have not yet come to know the love of God and do not seek God the Savior. You, little children, be my extended hands and by your example draw them closer to my Heart and the Heart of my Son. God will reward you with graces and every blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our job at this time is to stand as an offering before the Lord, drawing through our prayer as many souls as possible into the loving Hearts of Jesus and Mary.  Nothing else will solve the terrible problems of our day.  Let us pray this Invocation to the Heart of Jesus as we stand before Him in prayer and intercession.   INVOCATIONS TO THE HEART OF JESUS (With an Act of Oblation.) Heart of Jesus in the Eucharist, I adore Thee. Sweet Companion of our exile, I adore Thee. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, I adore Thee. Heart solitary, Heart humiliated, I adore Thee. Heart abandoned, Heart forgotten, I adore Thee. Heart despised, Heart outraged, I adore Thee. Heart ignored by men, I adore Thee. Heart, Lover of our hearts, I adore Thee. Heart pleading for love, I adore Thee. Heart patient in waiting for us, I adore Thee. Heart eager to hear our prayers, I adore Thee. Heart desiring that we should pray to Thee, I adore Thee. Heart, Source of fresh graces, I adore Thee. Heart silent, desiring to speak to souls, I adore Thee. Heart, sweet Refuge of the hidden life, I adore Thee. Heart, Teacher of the secrets of union with God, I adore Thee. Heart of Him Who sleeps, yet ever watches, I adore Thee. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Jesus Victim, I wish to comfort Thee; I unite myself to Thee; I offer myself in union with Thee. I count myself as nothing before Thee; I desire to forget myself in order to think of Thee, to be forgotten and despised for love of Thee, not to be understood, not to be loved, except by Thee. I will hold my peace that I may listen to Thee; I will forsake myself that I may lose myself in Thee. Grant that I may quench Thy thirst for my salvation, Thy burning thirst for my sanctification, and that, being purified, I may bestow on Thee a pure and true love. I would no longer weary Thine expectations; take me, I give myself to Thee. I entrust to Thee all my actions my mind that Thou mayest enlighten it, my heart that Thou mayest direct it, my will that Thou mayest establish it, my misery that Thou mayest relieve it, my soul and my body that Thou mayest feed them. Eucharistic Heart of my Jesus, Whose Blood is the life of my soul, may it be no longer I who live, but Thou alone Who livest in me. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

November 22, 2020 Reflection – The Solemnity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Jesus Christ, King of the Universe!  King of Mercy! November 22, 2020 The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe Dear Family of Mary! Let us remember our call to prayer today, on Day 4 of our second Novena for the World and our Countries: “My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.” (St. Faustina’s Diary 325) On this most wonderful Solemnity, we honor and praise Jesus Christ, the King!  This is the culminating Feast of the Liturgical Year.  This is our destiny, to live under the King of the Universe! Our Lady told us: November 25, 2007 “Dear children! Today, when you celebrate Christ, the King of all that is created, I desire for Him to be the King of your lives. Only through giving, little children, can you comprehend the gift of Jesus´ sacrifice on the Cross for each of you. Little children, give time to God that He may transform you and fill you with His grace, so that you may be a grace for others. For you, little children, I am a gift of grace and love, which comes from God for this peaceless world. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We want to respond to this call from Our Lady!  We want Jesus to reign in us! Fr. Leon has sent us the text of his homily for English Mass in Medjugorje today! I include it here as a special grace for us all.  After the homily, there is a Litany to Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe!  Let us prayerfully read the homily and pray the litany on this special day! Homily for the Solemnity of our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, November 22, 2020: The Gospels tell us that Jesus was of royal blood, descended from the House of David. What king was ever like Jesus, born in royal David’s city, Bethlehem, but in a stable not a palace, with no place to lay His head, and buried in another man’s tomb. His accession to the throne was His entry into Jerusalem, the royal capital, riding on a donkey rather than in a state carriage. His royal robe was a spittle-covered purple rag, His crown was of thorns and His sceptre a reed. He made His royal progress weak and bleeding through the streets, to the jeers not the cheers of the populace. At Calvary He was enthroned on an executioner’s gibbet. Christ the King has nothing in common with earthly rulers, so His kingdom can be nothing like an earthly kingdom. In His realm there are no masters because everyone is a servant. Even the King came to serve and not to be served. Those who would be greatest in the Kingdom are those who make themselves the least. The reward for service is not promotion and financial gain but to be given further opportunities for service. When His subjects become rich or gain promotion, they are impoverished and demoted, the mighty being cast from their thrones and the lowly exalted. The lowest are the highest, and tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom before the hypocritical and self-righteous. It is difficult for us Christians to live simultaneously in two kingdoms, that of the world and that of Christ. We are prone to blending them, to make one look so much like the other that we can’t tell the difference. Often it seems that the Church, and our lives within it, has been made to fit the image of a temporal earthly kingdom rather than making earthly kingdoms fit the image of Jesus’s eternal heavenly Kingdom. Often the Church is pressured to conform, to treat her sacraments and divine worship as non-essential, and too many Christians go along with this lie. It is difficult for Christians to live in society because the structures of that society are not the same as those in the Kingdom of God. The distinguishing feature of Christ’s rule is that of justice, but not the kind of justice we’re used to. You can recognise the people who feel at home in the Kingdom, they are the ones who are ready to forgive. They are the people who feed and give drink to the hungry and thirsty, who welcome outcasts back into society, who clothe the naked and visit the sick and imprisoned. In the Gospel text for this Sunday we have the Son of Man who comes in glory with His angels, to judge the nations. At first glance this presents a far more standard view of what majesty is about. But we should remember that the Son of Man Who comes in glory is also the Son of Man Who died on the cross. It is the same Lord. Even in His glory the Son of Man judges as the One Who was crucified. He comes to us as the One Who loves us so deeply that He mounted the wood of the Cross for you and me. He comes to us as One Whose majesty is founded on the total self-giving love of God. True majesty, true kingship, is founded on the supremacy of love. The Solemnity of Christ the Universal King was instituted by Pope Pius XI as a feast of the universal Church in 1925, when the dark clouds of totalitarianism were rolling over Europe. This was a time when false and shallow conceptions of majesty, based on domination and eschewing love, seemed to have the upper hand. In the face of similar troubles, the Solemnity of the Christ the Universal King is a call to us to see our world by the light of Christ. This is the Light in which the “pseudo-majesty” of the corrupt, the media, the cabals, the despots, the celebrities, looks like a pale and paltry imitation of the true and lasting Majesty of Jesus founded on love. But this Solemnity is also a call to hope and to fortitude, that regardless of what the tides of history might bring, the love of God will ultimately prove victorious: that at the end of the ages Christ the Universal King will come to judge the nations and he will do so in true majesty as the One Who wore a crown of thorns. Then all things will be placed under Him, He in turn will be subject to the Father, so that God may be All-in-all. Long live Christ the King! Amen!  (Fr. Leon Pereira, Medjugorje) Litany to Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe The Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive power and divinity and wisdom and strength and honor; To Him be glory and empire forever and ever. V. He shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth. R. All kings shall adore Him, all nations shall serve Him. Lord, have mercy upon us. Christ, have mercy upon us. Lord, have mercy upon us. Christ the King, hear us. Christ the King, graciously hear us. Thou Who didst receive crowns and tribute from the Magi, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who didst rule by love the Holy Family of Nazareth, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who as King, served Thy people in the example of filial obedience, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who drawest to Thy realm the fishermen to be fishers of men, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Whose Kingdom is not of the spirit of this world, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who art King not of the Jews alone but of all creation, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who wast mocked in false purple by the little rulers, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who wast crowned with piercing thorns, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who wast nailed to Thy throne on Golgotha, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who didst ransom Thy people by the royal Sacrifice of Calvary, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who didst purchase Thy Kingdom with the Blood of the Atonement, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who in Thy Resurrection was the First-born from the dead, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who in Thy glorified body art risen triumphant, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Who art throned and crowned at the right hand of Thy Father, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. In Whom are all created things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Beneath Whom are all thrones and dominations, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Beneath Whom are all principalities and powers, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. By Whom all things subsist, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. To Whom all the nations of the earth are subject, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. Through Whom all things are reconciled unto Thy Father, May all nations serve Thee, O Lord. V. His power shall be an everlasting power, R. And His Kingdom a kingdom that shall not be destroyed. That the peoples of this world may know themselves subject to Thee, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may put off their vainglory, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may dispel the evils laicism has brought upon society, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may hearken to Thy fiat, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may bow their heads before Thee, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may know Thy reign is eternal, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may submit to Thy just and gentle rule, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may recognize Thy Vicar on earth, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may freely accept his rule for Thy sake, We beseech Thee, hear us. That they may know that Thy Church, being Thee Thyself, cannot die as nations die, We beseech Thee, hear us. That the Gentiles may be restored to mercy, We beseech Thee, hear us. That to Christ the King all things may be restored, We beseech Thee, hear us. That in the Prince of Peace true peace may by all be found, We beseech Thee, hear us. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Spare us, O Christ our King. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Hear us, O Christ our King. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Have mercy on us. V. His power shall be an everlasting power, which shall not be taken away, R. And His Kingdom shall not decay. Alleluia. Let Us Pray: Almighty, everlasting God, Who in Thy beloved Son, King of the whole world, hast willed to restore all things anew, grant in Thy mercy that all the families of nations, rent asunder by the wound of sin, may be subjected to His most gentle rule, Who with Thee liveth and reigneth in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. November 21, 2020 Reflection – The Presentation of Mary

Adore Him Alone November 21, 2020 The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Dear Family of Mary! Today is day 3 of our Novena of prayer for our countries and for the world.  We are modeling our prayer after the call that Our Lady gave to St. Faustina in 1934 to pray for her country and the world: “My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.” (Diary 325) Our Lady called to us in a similar way from Medjugorje:| May 25, 2020 “…Little children, be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time. Pray and seek the help and protection of the saints so that you also could yearn for Heaven and Heavenly realities. I am with you and am protecting and blessing all of you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Here is a beautiful litany to Our Lady, based on her role in the New Testament.  We can pray for her help in our intercession this day: THE NEW TESTAMENT LITANY OF MARY. All praise be yours, Almighty Father, through Jesus Christ your Son, in the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen. [Composed by Fr. Robert Bouffier, SM] https://www.catholicdoors.com/prayers/litanies/p03487.htm In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020 PS.  I am also attaching the homily given by Fr. Leon Pereira at English Mass yesterday (November 20).  It is very powerful.  We need the truth in order to be free to live in the light! HOMILY Earlier this year, there was a very disturbing survey that revealed that in America among Catholics, only 3 out of 10 Catholics believe in the Eucharist; that it is really the Body and Blood of Christ.  Now, if it’s 3 out of 10 in America, you can imagine in Europe it will be far worse, in Western Europe especially. And then, this morning – sorry, I don’t like to preach on the news, but this is important – this morning, a survey shows that 61% of American Catholics are in favor of same-sex marriage; 31% against.  But in Europe, it’s far worse.  The Netherlands:  92% of Catholics in favor.  Followed by Belgium with 83%.  And the U.K. with 78% in favor of gay marriage.  Abortion:  Catholics – these are Catholics who go to mass, regularly – 51% are in favor in The Netherlands.  But in Belgium, 74% are in favor; and in the U.K. 65% percent.  And, also, Switzerland, Spain, France, Austria, Germany, all have 70% or more in favor of same-sex marriage; so-called, same-sex marriage.  Those who rejected same-sex marriage, among Catholics:  90% rejected in Bosnia and Hercegovina.  Ok.  Now, this tells you… this gives you a flavor of what’s going on in the world. Why?  Why are so many Catholics so full of hate?  You know.  I mean, why do they hate gay people so much that they want to lie to them and sell them this so-called marriage?  Because it is hate, isn’t it?  Using their own language against them?  Because, when we oppose it, they accuse us of hate.  But the truth is, they are full of hate.  They lack love, the love of Christ for his people, including those who suffer same-sex attraction; and selling them a lie.  “Oh yes, you can get married, be just like us.”  What an awful, hateful thing to do to them. And abortion.  You know.  I met a Catholic who said, “Well, you know, I’m not in favor of it.  But, you know, for rape, or something, surely you have to allow abortion.”  And, I just thought, “How do you persuade such a person?”  So, I said, “Ok, here.  Here is an ice cream scoop.  Tell me how you’re going to kill the baby.”  And he said, “Oh.  I’m not going to do it.”  And I said, “No.  You said, ‘In cases of rape you’re open to abortion.’  Do it.  Show me how you’ll do it with an ice cream scoop.”  I don’t know why I chose an ice cream scoop; but I had nothing else on hand.  Because this kind of stupidity has to be challenged. It is awful how Catholics can tie themselves in knots and get muddled like this.  In the Old Testament, the people of Israel are described as “The Bride” or the “Vineyard of the Lord.”  And quite often, the Lord compares His Bride to a prostitute.  He complains, “You are unfaithful to me,” over and over again.  And then through the prophet Hosea we have that beautiful example.  He tells Hosea, “Go and marry a prostitute to show my love for My People Israel.” In the New Testament, we the People of God, The Church, are also the Bride of Christ.  But that Bride is disfigured, is damaged, when her leaders lie, or fail to proclaim the truth properly, and mislead The Faithful, The Flock.  When The Flock are taught that, “Maybe it’s ok, you can go along with this, that, and the other.”  Or when you get a politician who is pro-abortion and doing all sorts of bad things, and no punishment comes at all from the church leaders, that sends out the message to the people, “It’s ok.  You can do what you like, and still call yourself a practicing Catholic.” This is known as the sin of “Scandal.”  Now, this is “scandal” used in a very special way.  It comes from the Greek word “skandalon:” the thing you stumble over.  Ok, so don’t think of “scandal” in the ordinary English sense of scandal.  It means, “a tripping stone.” How?  Well, if ordinary Catholics see that politicians – prominent people – can be pro-abortion, or pro-gay marriage, and still go and receive communion every Sunday, every time they want to; then they think, “Well, maybe it doesn’t matter.”  It is compromising the faith of the little ones.  This is what we mean by “the sin of scandal.” And there’s a lot of that right now in the church.  The Bride of Christ has been disfigured.  She has been dirtied.  And she has been beaten and bruised.  It is a terrible thing happening to the church.  Christ will come.  And what will he do?  He will cleanse His Temple.  He will drive all of this out of his church, forcefully, vigorously.  If we don’t clean it up ourselves, Christ will do it.  I mean, we do it by the help of the Holy Spirit.  But Christ will cleanse His Temple. First of all, the church.  All the filth and putridness in it will be cast out.  He will do that.  Then, where else is the temple?  Each one of us is a temple of the Holy Spirit.  And Christ will come to drive out evil in us, in some shape or form, if we don’t cooperate with him now.  So, this is Purgatory.  Purgatory for those of us who are going to Heaven but not yet cleansing our temple, the Temple of the Holy Spirit, our bodies. This is why, while we still live, while we still have breath:  Pray to the Holy Spirit for the grace to see ourselves as God sees us.  To forgive.  To let go of all resentments.  To love genuinely.  Genuine love.  Not sentimental love.  But real love. To proclaim the truth.  To embrace the truth.  The truth of Christ, fully.  Because, if we don’t do this, Christ will.  And nothing will stop Jesus. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

November 20, 2020 Reflection – Adore Him Alone!

Adore Him Alone November 20, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Day 2 of our Second Novena of Prayer for the World and our Countries. Here is the inspiration for this Novena, as given to St. Faustina by Our Lady in 1934: Our Lady told St. Faustina: On the day of the Assumption of the Mother of God, I did not assist at Holy Mass. The woman doctor did not allow me; but I prayed fervently in my cell. After a short time, I saw the Mother of God, unspeakably beautiful. She said to me, My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer. (Diary 325) Our Lady constantly calls us to adore her Son, to focus only on Him, to make Him our sole desire.  And in these times, she asks us to stand before Him, as burning votive candles, loving Him and adoring Him for the sake of the world and our countries. Our Lady gave us this sobering and powerful message in 2011: September 2, 2011 “Dear children; With all my heart and soul full of faith and love in the Heavenly Father, I gave my Son to you and am giving Him to you anew. My Son has brought you, the people of the entire world, to know the only true God and His love. He has led you on the way of truth and made you brothers and sisters. Therefore, my children, do not wander, do not close your heart before that truth, hope and love. Everything around you is passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains. Therefore, renounce everything that distances you from the Lord. Adore Him alone, because He is the only true God. I am with you and I will remain with you. I am especially praying for the shepherds that they may be worthy representatives of my Son and may lead you with love on the way of truth. Thank you.” Let us adore Jesus alone, calling upon His name with all our hearts for the sake of our countries and the world.  We will pray this Litany of the Name of Jesus!  It is powerful and timely for us.  Never lose your focus on Jesus, call on His name, adore Him alone. Litany of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (edited) Lord, have mercy on us Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us, Christ, graciously hear us. November 19, 2020 Reflection – Stand before God as an offering…

Stand before God as an offering… November 19, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Stand before God as an offering… Our Lady told St. (Diary 325) Many of you have encouraged me to continue this novena for our countries and for the world for another 9 days. So, let’s go for it! I believe this is the way we can help Our Lady to move forward with her triumph in these most decisive days. Each day I will present a message from Our Lady and find a suitable prayer to pray in response. The focus will be on Our Lady’s call to adore her Son! She has called us to Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament many times. What wonderful graces are made available when we adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I know that many of us cannot actually go to Adoration physically, due to Covid restrictions. But on Mary TV, you can be present live for adoration in the Adoration Chapel at 3:30 pm Medjugorje time, live! Or you can be present for live Adoration of Jesus after the Evening Mass on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday in Medjugorje. The graces are real! In this way we can stand before the Lord as an offering. Here are two messages for today: Tuesday, June 24, 1986 To the prayer group: “I beseech you, withdraw in silence. Your obligation is not so much to do, but to adore God, to stay with Him.” March 15, 1984 “Tonight also, dear children, I am grateful to you in a special way for being here. Unceasingly adore the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. I am always present when the faithful are adoring. Special graces are then being received.” Here is St. Faustina’s Litany to the Blessed Host: O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the testament of God’s mercy for us, and especially for poor sinners. (I trust in You!) O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus as proof of infinite mercy for us, and especially for poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained life eternal and of infinite mercy, dispensed in abundance to us and especially to poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the mercy of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit toward us, and especially toward poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the infinite price of mercy which will compensate for all our debts, and especially those of poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the fountain of living water which springs from infinite mercy for us, and especially for poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the fire of purest love which blazes forth from the bosom of the Eternal Father, as from an abyss of infinite mercy for us, and especially for poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the medicine for all our infirmities, flowing from infinite mercy, as from a fount, for us and especially for poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom is contained the union between God and us through His infinite mercy for us, and especially for poor sinners. O Blessed Host, in whom are contained all the sentiments of the most sweet Heart of Jesus toward us, and especially poor sinners. O Blessed Host, our only hope in all the sufferings and adversities of life. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the midst of darkness and of storms within and without. O Blessed Host, our only hope in life and at the hour of our death. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the midst of adversities and floods of despair. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the midst of falsehood and treason. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the midst of the darkness and godlessness which inundate the earth. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the longing and pain in which no one will understand us. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the toil and monotony of everyday life. O Blessed Host, our only hope amid the ruin of our hopes and endeavors. O Blessed Host, our only hope in the midst of the ravages of the enemy and the efforts of hell. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when the burdens are beyond my strength and I find my efforts are fruitless. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when storms toss my heart about and my fearful spirit tends to despair. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when my heart is about to tremble, and mortal sweat moistens my brow. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when everything conspires against me and black despair creeps into my soul. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when my eyes will begin to grow dim to all temporal things and, for the first time, my spirit will behold the unknown worlds. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when my tasks will be beyond my strength and adversity will become my daily lot. O Blessed Host I trust in You when the practice of virtue will appear difficult for me and my nature will grow rebellious. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when hostile blows will be aimed against me. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when my toils and efforts will be misjudged by others. O Blessed Host, I trust in You when Your judgments will resound over me; it is then that I will trust in the sea of Your mercy. +Most Holy Trinity, I trust in Your infinite mercy. God is my Father and so I, His child, have every claim to His divine Heart; and the greater the darkness, the more complete our trust should be. Amen! November 18, 2020 Reflection – All that we are and have!!!

All that I am and have November 18, 2020 Dedication of the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul Dear Family of Mary! We have reached the final day of our Novena, the day when we offer our nine days of prayer to the Lord Jesus, through the Heart of Mary!  We have prayed in this way: Our Lady told St. (Diary 325) We have also discovered that the best way to procure the safety of our countries and the world is by placing them all under the maternal protection of Our Lady, Mother of God and Queen of Peace.  When all we are and all we have is placed under her authority, as her possession and property, then the enemy cannot harm us or our possessions, not even one little bit. So today we will pray three beautiful consecration prayers, making ourselves an offering first to Jesus, then to Mother Mary. We want to live as constant offerings to God, always and everywhere, at all time and places Prayer of Self Offering ~ St. Ignatius of Loyola Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. All that I am and all that I possess You have given me: I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will desire nothing more. Immaculate Conception Prayer Immaculate Conception, Mary my Mother, Live in me, Act in me, Speak in me and through me, Think your thoughts in my mind, Love through my heart, Give me your dispositions and feelings, Teach, lead me and guide me to Jesus, Correct, enlighten and expand my thoughts and behavior, Possess my soul, Take over my entire personality and life, replace it with Yourself, Incline me to constant adoration, Pray in me and through me, Let me live in you and keep me in this union always.  Amen (Mother Immaculata OCD) Consecration of One’s Exterior Goods to the Blessed Virgin Mary (This prayer is particularly useful for breaking various forms of oppression. By relinquishing what belongs to us into the hands of the Blessed Virgin, Satan cannot touch them. This is a strong prayer of protection on you and yours): I; (Name), a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before. In the presence of all the heavenly court, I choose thee, O Mary, this day for my Mother and Mistress. Knowing that I have received rights over all my exterior goods by the promulgation of the Natural Law by the Divine Author, I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, all of my exterior goods, past, present and future; I relinquish into thy hands, my Heavenly Mother, all rights over my exterior goods, including our President, the fairness, honesty and accuracy of the outcome of the election, and our country and I retain for myself no right of disposing the goods that come to me but leave to thee the entire and full right of disposing of all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity. As I now interiorly relinquish what belongs to me exteriorly into thy hands, I entrust to thee the protection of those exterior goods against the evil one, so that, knowing that they now belong to thee, he cannot touch them. Receive, O good and pious Virgin, this little offering of what little is, in honor of, and in union with, that subjection which the Eternal Wisdom deigned to have to Thy maternity; in homage to the power which both of You have over this poor sinner, and in thanksgiving for the privileges with which the Holy Trinity has favored thee. Trusting in the providential care of God the Father and thy maternal care, I have full confidence that thou wilst take care of me as to the necessities of this life and will not leave me forsaken. God the Father, increase my trust in Thy Son’s Mother; Our Lady of Fair Love, give me perfect confidence in the providence of Thy Son. Amen. Thank you for praying this novena!  I believe it is unlocking many graces for our countries and the world.  Let’s keep it up, even do it again starting tomorrow!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! November 17, 2020 Reflection – Live God’s Mercy

Live God’s Mercy November 17, 2020 St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Married Woman, Religious Dear Family of Mary! This is Day 9 of our Novena for our countries and the world.  One more time let us remember what Our Lady told St. Faustina: Our Lady told St. (Diary 325) Our Lady called us to through Jakov: December 25, 2012 (Jakov)  “Dear children, give the gift of your life to me and completely surrender to me so that I may help you to comprehend my motherly love and the love of my Son for you. My children, I love you immeasurably and today, in a special way, on the day of the birth of my Son, I desire to receive each of you into my heart and to give a gift of your lives to my Son. My children, Jesus loves you and gives you the grace to live in His mercy, but sin has overtaken many of your hearts and you live in darkness. Therefore, my children, do not wait, say ‘no’ to sin and surrender your hearts to my Son, because only in this way will you be able to live God’s mercy and, with Jesus in your hearts, set out on the way of salvation.” Our Lady wants her children to “live God’s mercy”.  She calls us to say “no” to sin and surrender our hearts to her Son, Jesus.  This is what we can do each day, and also how we can pray for others.  If we only knew the complete joy and peace that await us in the Mercy of God, we would drop everything else and run to prayer and conversion with all our hearts. As we convert ourselves, let us pray for the millions of souls that stand in need of God’s Mercy: The Litany to Divine Mercy Divine Mercy, gushing forth from the bosom of the Father, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, greatest attribute of God, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, incomprehensible mystery, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, fountain gushing forth from the mystery of the Most Blessed Trinity, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, unfathomed by any intellect, human or angelic, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, from which wells forth all life and happiness, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, better than the heavens, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, source of miracles and wonders, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, encompassing the whole universe, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, descending to earth in the Person of the Incarnate Word, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, which flowed out from the open wound of the Heart of Jesus, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, enclosed in the Heart of Jesus for us, and especially for sinners, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, unfathomed in the institution of the Sacred Host, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, in the founding of Holy Church, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, in our justification through Jesus Christ, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, accompanying us through our whole life, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, embracing us especially at the hour of death, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, endowing us with immortal life, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, accompanying us every moment of our life, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, shielding us from the fire of hell, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, in the conversion of hardened sinners, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, astonishment for Angels, incomprehensible to Saints, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, unfathomed in all the mysteries of God, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, lifting us out of every misery, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, source of our happiness and joy, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, in calling us forth from nothingness to existence, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, embracing all the works of His hands, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, crown of all of God’s handiwork, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, in which we are all immersed, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, sweet relief for anguished hearts, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, only hope of despairing souls, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, repose of hearts, peace amidst fear, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, delight and ecstasy of holy souls, I trust in You. Divine Mercy, inspiring hope against all hope, I trust in You. Eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. November 16, 2020 Reflection – Son of David, have mercy on me!

Son of David, have mercy on me! November 16, 2020 St. Gertrude the Great, Virgin St. Margaret of Scotland, Queen Dear Family of Mary! Day 8 of our Novena for the world and our countries: Our Lady told St. (Diary 325) We see in the Gospel for today, the great mercy of Christ, poured out upon the blind man who just would not be silenced.  He knew that Jesus was his only hope of ever regaining his sight.  And his hope would not let him give up. “As Jesus approached Jericho a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging, and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!” The people walking in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent, but he kept calling out all the more, “Son of David, have pity on me!” Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, please let me see.” Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.” He immediately received his sight and followed him, giving glory to God. When they saw this, all the people gave praise to God.” (Luke 18:35-43) We are in a similar situation now, with the world falling so helplessly into chaos.  But we must call out to Jesus, constantly and everywhere, as Our Lady told St. Faustina to do.  “Son of David, have pity on me!!!!”  “Son of David, have pity on us!!!” Our Lady told us to cry out for her Son in this message: May 2, 2009 “Dear children! Already for a long time I am giving you my motherly heart and offering my Son to you. You are rejecting me. You are permitting sin to overcome you more and more. You are permitting it to master you and to take away your power of discernment. My poor children, look around you and look at the signs of the times. Do you think that you can do without God’s blessing? Do not allow darkness to envelop you. From the depth of your hearts cry out for my Son. His Name disperses even the greatest darkness… I will be with you, just call on me: ‘Here we are Mother, lead us.’ Thank you.” Here is a Litany of Our Lady of Hope, which will encourage us to call on Our Lady and to pray, pray, pray and never give up!
