(c)Mary TV Our Lady was processed through the crowds at the Youth Festival August 3, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! June 25, 2002 “Dear children! Today I pray for you and with you that the Holy Spirit may help you and increase your faith, so that you may accept even more the messages that I am giving you here in this holy place. Little children, comprehend that this is a time of grace for each of you; and with me, little children, you are secure. I desire to lead you all on the way of holiness. Live my messages and put into life every word that I am giving you. May they be precious to you because they come from Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Youth Festival 31 is under way and it is very beautiful!  Somehow many young people have managed to arrive in Medjugorje to spend their days in prayer and worship!!  It is life-giving!! Ivan Dragicevic addressed the Youth Festival 31 in a public letter, and so I would like to share it with all of you!  It is very beautiful.  I feel his words come straight from Our Lady’s heart: Message from Visionary Ivan on 31st Youth Festival: “I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now…for I shall not pass this way again. Dear priests, dear friends in Christ and especially the youth so tender and dear to my heart. I would like to greet you from the heart in a special way during this most extraordinary Mladifest where we are praying for and celebrating the love of Jesus and Mary. Our Lady says “The one who prays does not need to be afraid of the future.”  He does not need to be fearful. My dear youth, you do not need to be afraid of the future.  All events are in the hands of God.  It is the Jesus who calls you to trust in Him and pray to Him, to converse with Him, and share Him all in your heart. We have entered into a difficult time in the Church and in the world. But let us remember that we have been born for this time in God’s wisdom.  Our Lady continues to say, “Children I need you; I need you to help my plans be realized.”  This call is also for you. Our Lady in a special way holds you the young people, as the apple of her eye.  She loves you with a tender love.  It is very difficult to describe to you the love she has for you when she gazes on each of you – one by one.  It is a love beyond description, so beautiful, so tender so uplifting. Our Lady needs you. She first needs you to open your hearts to prayer.  Pray more from the heart.  In one of her messages Our Lady said, “…especially let the young people of this parish be more active in their prayers.”  She also said on another occasion, “I wish specially to say to the young people to be more open to the Holy Spirit because God wishes to draw you to Himself in these days when Satan is at work.”  Our Lady is constantly looking out for you, constantly guiding you, more than ever in these restless and peaceless times. The Queen of Peace asks us all to return to God. My dear young people, the world cannot offer the hope and peace that Christ gives.  Real peace comes only from Jesus.  Jesus is your peace.   Pray for this peace.  The peaceless times are being born in the hearts of people who do not know God.  This must not be for you. Open your hearts and pray, pray, pray so that you may know God better and that everyone may feel that love and peace of God through your example.  Prayer in Christ brings peace to the heart. Only when the soul finds peace in God will it be content. Today my dear youth live this message of peace, this hope.  Carry it to everyone in your families, your friends, your world. My dear young people, frequent the sacraments:  especially Confession and Eucharist. The sacraments are your restoration and strength. My dear young people unceasingly pray the Rosary.  With the Rosary you shall overcome all the adversities which Satan is trying to inflict on you and the world.  Respond daily to her call to pray the Rosary.  The Rosary brings you peace. My dear young people, find time to adore Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament.  Spend time in silence in order to hear more clearly the voice of the Holy Spirit in your lives. My dear young people, live the messages of the Queen of Peace. Become an excellent student in the school of Love. Do not be afraid, “the one who prays does not need to be afraid of the future.” Jesus says in Scripture:  Do not be afraid. Jesus sends His Mother and tells her to tell the children not to be afraid. Our Lady comes to us here – Our Lady comes in a special way to you the young people of the world and she calls you to pray for Peace. She needs you. You are the future of the Church; you are the future of the world.  And a world of peace is possible.  It is possible through you. Let us not wait for someone else to start – it will be a waste of time.  Start today and follow Our Lady’s call and live better her messages. God bless you. (c)Mary TV July 31, 2020 St. Ignatius of Loyola, Priest and Religious Founder Dear Family of Mary! Today is Friday.  We pray the Sorrowful Mysteries today in remembrance of the sacrifice that Jesus made, the sacrifice of His death on the Cross for our salvation.  As best we can we try to immerse ourselves in that remembrance.  We need to be overwhelmed with this reality, that Jesus laid down His life for each one of us, enduring the horror of the Cross and the shame of being our scapegoat.  We need to stay with Jesus on His way to Calvary, like Our Lady stayed with Him.  We need to love Him through it all. Our Lady told us; March 25, 1997 “Dear children! Today, in a special way, I invite you to take the cross in the hands and to meditate on the wounds of Jesus. Ask of Jesus to heal your wounds, which you, dear children, during your life sustained because of your sins or the sins of your parents. Only in this way, dear children, you will understand that the world is in need of healing of faith in God the Creator. By Jesus’ passion and death on the cross, you will understand that only through prayer you, too, can become true apostles of faith; when, in simplicity and prayer, you live faith which is a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We need to meditate on each step of the Way of the Cross, so that the grace of Jesus’ sacrifice will sink in and we will understand how much we are loved. Jesus, Himself, taught St. Faustina about how to meditate on His Passion, every day during the Hour of Mercy, 3:00 pm.  Here is what He told her: 1572. I remind you, My daughter, that as often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners; for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world – mercy triumphed over justice. My daughter, try your best to make the Stations of the Cross in this hour, provided that your duties permit it; and if you are not able to make the Stations of the Cross, then at least step into the chapel for a moment and adore, in the Blessed Sacrament, My Heart, which is full of mercy; and should you be unable to step into the chapel, immerse yourself in prayer there where you happen to be, if only for a very brief instant. I claim veneration for My mercy from every creature, but above all from you, since it is to you that I have given the most profound understanding of this mystery. (Diary, 1572) To meditate on the Stations of the Cross is to meditate on Divine Mercy!  We see the greatest love of all time, at the Cross. Today, try to pray the Stations of the Cross, at 3:00 pm if you can, but whenever you can find the time, do it!  You will not regret it!!  (We will pray the Stations during Hour of Mercy today!) (c)Mary TV The Youth Festival shows that a new world of peace is possible! July 30, 2020 St. Peter Chrysologus, Bishop, Doctor of the Church Dear Family of Mary! “…You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive, and a new world of peace is possible. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son, Jesus….” (July 25, 2020) This call to witness with our lives that faith and hope are still alive is never better demonstrated than at the yearly Medjugorje Youth Festival!  Every year from August 1 to 6, thousands of young people from the entire world have gathered in Medjugorje to be with Our Lady, to pray, to sing to Jesus, to worship Him, and to be built up by testimonies and teachings about conversion and the new life!  The Youth Festival has been a beacon of hope for the world for 31 years now. How many young lives have been changed over those 31 years?  Only God knows!! This year because of the covid pandemic, pilgrims cannot easily travel to Medjugorje.  But the parish has decided to carry on with the Youth Festival, as best they can.  The schedule has been changed.  And many of the testimonies and teachings may be recorded and shared via the internet.  But the Holy Spirit can come in person.  He is not limited by any virus! (c)Mary TV Our Lady of Victory July 29, 2020 St Martha Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! In this peaceless time in which the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself, I am calling you to persevering prayer, so that in prayer you discover the God of love and hope. Little children, take the Cross in your hands. May it be your encouragement for love to always win, in a special way now when the Cross and faith are rejected. You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son, Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call.”  (July 25, 2020) Our Lady calls us to take the Cross in our hand so that it will be an encouragement for love to always win!!  If you read this message closely, she wants us to find the way to win over the devil and foil his plans through our love and hope.  She is Our Lady of Victory!  And she plans to win in this final fight with the enemy. She tells us:  “You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible.”  She plans on winning, and we should too!  I found this amazing Litany of Our Lady of Victories, written by Pope Pius XI, inspired by the victories that Our Lady had procured at Lepanto in the 1500’s.  Let’s pray it today, as an encouragement to our tired souls.  Our Mother is the Victorious Queen of Heaven and Earth!  She will not retreat!  And she is going to win with us by her side. (c)Mary TV I am calling you to persevering prayer… July 28, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Matthew 13:36-43 Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples approached him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” He said in reply, “He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seed the children of the Kingdom. The weeds are the children of the Evil One, and the enemy who sows them is the Devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned up with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his Kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear.” This Gospel for today has always sent shivers down my spine.  Good seed, bad seed, harvest at the end of the age, and fiery furnaces…Truly this is a picture of the end times.  Our Lady used the word “harvest” in her July 25, 2020 Message.   She may have had this passage in mind: “Dear children! In this peaceless time in which the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself, I am calling you to persevering prayer, so that in prayer you discover the God of love and hope…” (July 25, 2020) Mother Mary must see that the end of the age is near.  That is why Satan is harvesting souls for damnation.  It is time to gather his prey into his fiery furnace.  And this must also be why she is calling us to prayer.  We must discover the God of love and hope, and grasp His loving hand, so we can be led into His Kingdom. Increasingly we see only two possibilities for the world and for each person in the world.  We can let Satan draw us unto himself, or we can choose to draw close to God.  In the first case, we become attracted by all the false “goods” that the enemy waves before our eyes and become ensnared in his traps.  In the second, we see God in all his beauty and love, and decide to seek after Him, to find Him. The first way takes away our freedom, little by little.  The more we lust after the enemy’s stuff, the more powerless we become, unable to choose otherwise until we are cut down and thrown into the fire. The second way depends upon our freedom.  God never coerces us or forces us in anything.  He only presents Himself to us, bloodied and broken, hanging from a cross, showing us how much He loves us.  In that moment we begin to realize how very much we are loved, and our hearts desire to be one with the lover of men.  We choose in freedom, to join Him in the love that brings hope.  It is then that we will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of the Father. It is important not to shy away from recognizing the end times that are upon us.  We do not know how long the time will be, but we do know how to win through to Glory!  We must fall deeply in love with Jesus, and long for Him in prayer.  We must surrender ourselves to God, with total trust.  We must freely choose to follow Jesus on His way of the Cross, and fear nothing.  In this way, our end times will result in the joy of Heaven.   (c)Mary TV If God is for us, who is against us? July 27, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! In this peaceless time in which the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself, I am calling you to persevering prayer, so that in prayer you discover the God of love and hope. Little children, take the Cross in your hands. May it be your encouragement for love to always win, in a special way now when the Cross and faith are rejected. You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son, Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call.”  (July 25, 2020) As Denis and I were praying yesterday after we received this message, we opened the Bible at random, asking the Holy Spirit for a passage from Scripture that might help us to understand more fully what Our Lady was saying to us!  And we opened to Romans 8: 18-39.  It is a very famous section of St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans.  I could read it over and over.  It helps us to understand how to view our present sufferings, in relation to the Cross and Victory of Jesus.  Our Lady said that we need to discover the God of love and hope through prayer.  And to take the Cross in our hands and be encouraged!!  That is exactly what St. Paul was exhorting his fellow Christians to do as they faced the persecution of the Romans.  Such beautiful words!!  I encourage us all to read and reread this passage, as we pray.  It may change our tired hearts into hearts on fire with love and hope! St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans, 8: 18-39 : I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope;  because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.  For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.  Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words. And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.  For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren.  And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified. What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 18-39) Amen!  Amen!  We are more than conquerors through him who loved us!!!!  We can be a reflection and an example with our lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible!
