June 8, 2020 Reflection – Eternal Beatitude!

Eternal Beatitude (c) Mary TV   June 8, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “My children; Again, in a motherly way, I implore you to stop for a moment and to reflect on yourselves and on the transience of this your earthly life. Then reflect on eternity and the eternal beatitude. What do you want? Which way do you want to set out on? The Father`s love sends me to be a mediatrix for you, to show you with motherly love the way which leads to the purity of soul; a soul unburdened by sin; a soul that will come to know eternity. I am praying that the light of the love of my Son may illuminate you, so that you may triumph over weaknesses and come out of misery. You are my children and I desire for all of you to be on the way of salvation. Therefore, my children, gather around me that I may have you come to know the love of my Son and thus open the door of eternal beatitude. Pray as I do for your shepherds. Again, I caution you: do not judge them, because my Son chose them. Thank you.” (July 2, 2012) The Gospel for today is from Matthew, the Beatitudes. This wonderful list of blessed states of being clearly shows us the way to Heaven and “eternal beatitude” as Our Lady calls it. To achieve these ways of being, she tells us: “The Father`s love sends me to be a mediatrix for you, to show you with motherly love the way which leads to the purity of soul; a soul unburdened by sin; a soul that will come to know eternity. I am praying that the light of the love of my Son may illuminate you, so that you may triumph over weaknesses and come out of misery.” The Light of Jesus does show us the way to peace and holiness. The Beatitudes! Today’s Gospel Reading: When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit,/ for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven./ Blessed are they who mourn,/ for they will be comforted./ Blessed are the meek,/ for they will inherit the land./ Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,/ for they will be satisfied./ Blessed are the merciful,/ for they will be shown mercy./ Blessed are the clean of heart,/ for they will see God./ Blessed are the peacemakers,/ for they will be called children of God./ Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,/ for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven./ Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus, they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Mt 5 :1-11) Mother Mary, as our teacher and guide, help us to become like your Son, through living these Beatitudes, so that one day we will be in Eternal Beatitude! Thank you, Mother! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan © Mary TV 2020

June 5, 2020 Reflection – Pray for Peace!

Put Jesus in the first place in your life… (c) Mary TV   June 5, 2020 St. Boniface Dear Family of Mary! Today I feel we should listen to Our Lady as she calls us to pray for peace. She has called us consistently throughout her time with us in Medjugorje to pray for peace. Have we really understood her call? Have we responded to her call? Is there still time? Mother, we want to listen again to your words about peace. May we open our hearts to your call: December 25, 1990 “Dear children! Today I invite you in a special way to pray for peace. Dear children, without peace you cannot experience the birth of the little Jesus neither today nor in your daily lives. Therefore, pray the Lord of Peace that He may protect you with His mantle and that He may help you to comprehend the greatness and the importance of peace in your heart. In this way you shall be able to spread peace from your heart throughout the whole world. I am with you and I intercede for you before God. Pray, because satan wants to destroy my plans of peace. Be reconciled with one another and by means of your lives help peace reign in the whole earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 1991 “Dear Children! Today I invite you to pray for peace. At this time peace is being threatened in a special way, and I am seeking from you to renew fasting and prayer in your families. Dear children, I desire you to grasp the seriousness of the situation and that much of what will happen depends on your prayers and you are praying a little bit. Dear children, I am with you and I am inviting you to begin to pray and fast seriously as in the first days of my coming. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 25, 1993 “Dear children! Today like never I call you to pray for peace, for peace in your hearts, peace in your families and peace in the whole world, because satan wants war, wants lack of peace, wants to destroy all which is good. Therefore, dear children, pray, pray, pray. Thank you for having responded to my call.” September 25, 2002 “Dear children! Also in this peaceless time, I call you to prayer. Little children, pray for peace so that in the world every person would feel love towards peace. Only when the soul finds peace in God, it feels content and love will begin to flow in the world. And in a special way, little children, you are called to live and witness peace – peace in your hearts and families – and, through you, peace will also begin to flow in the world. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 25, 2009 “Dear children! Today I call you all to pray for peace and to witness it in your families so that peace may become the highest treasure on this peaceless earth. I am your Queen of Peace and your mother. I desire to lead you on the way of peace, which comes only from God. Therefore, pray, pray, pray. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2016 (Jakov) “Dear children! Today, on this day of grace, in a special way, I am calling you to pray for peace. Children, I came here as the Queen of Peace and how many times have I called you to pray for peace. But, children, your hearts are restless. Sin is preventing you from opening yourselves completely to grace and peace which God desires to give you. To live peace, my children, is to first have peace in your hearts and to be surrendered completely to God and to His will. Do not seek peace and joy in the things of this world, because this is all passing. Long for true mercy and peace which come only from God; and only in this way will your hearts be filled with true joy; and only in this way will you be able to become witnesses of peace in this peaceless world. I am your mother and intercede before my Son for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 2017 “Dear children! Today I am calling you to pray for peace: peace in human hearts, peace in the families and peace in the world. Satan is strong and wants to turn all of you against God, and to return you to everything that is human, and to destroy in the heart all feelings towards God and the things of God. You, little children, pray and fight against materialism, modernism and egoism, which the world offers to you. Little children, you decide for holiness and I, with my Son Jesus, intercede for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Thank you, dearest Mother, for your messages of peace. Help us to respond anew to your call. We pray for the whole world to be given peace, the peace that only God can give. May it be so. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

June 4, 2020 Reflection – Put God in the first place in your lives!

Put Jesus in the first place in your life… (c) Mary TV   June 4, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! The Gospel for Mass today makes us all sing for joy because Jesus finally finds a scribe who gets it!! Instead of arguing with Jesus about this or that law, this scribe asks the most important question and gets the most beautiful answer from Jesus. And the scribe echoes it with joy!! Here is the Gospel: One of the scribes came to Jesus and asked him, “Which is the first of all the commandments?” Jesus replied, “The first is this: Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” The scribe said to him, “Well said, teacher. You are right in saying, He is One and there is no other than he. And to love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” And when Jesus saw that he answered with understanding, he said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” And no one dared to ask him any more questions. (Mark 12 :28-34) Of course we all want to be like this scribe. We want to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength!!! We want to put the Lord first in our lives. But it is not as easy as it sounds. Our Lady has been asking us to do the very same thing for the past 38 years. Here is another little litany, this time about putting God in the first place…It will be a joy to pray these words from Our Lady, hoping that they will sink deeply into our hearts: A Little Litany to the Lord, asking to put Him in the first place in our lives. Our Lady: I am calling you to sincere prayer with the heart so that every prayer of yours may be an encounter with God. In your work and in your everyday life, put God in the first place. I call you today with great seriousness to obey me and to do as I am calling you. (12/25/87) Response: Mother teach me to put God in the first place in my life! Our Lady: Dear children, put God in the first place in your families, so that He may give you peace and may protect you not only from war, but also in peace protect you from every satanic attack. When God is with you, you have everything. (12/25/91) Response: Mother teach me to put God in the first place in my family! Our Lady: Today I invite you that each of you begin again to love, in the first place, God who saved and redeemed each of you, and then brothers and sisters in your proximity. (11/25/95) Response: Mother teach me to love God in the first place in my life! Our Lady: In this time when due to the spirit of consumerism one forgets what it means to love and to cherish true values, I invite you again, little children, to put God in the first place in your life. Do not let satan attract you through material things but, little children, decide for God who is freedom and love. (03/25/96) Response: Mother teach me to decide to put God in the first place in my life! Our Lady: Place God in the first place, then the risen Jesus will become your friend. (03/25/99) Response: Mother teach me to put God in the first place so that Jesus will be my friend! Our Lady: Put little newborn Jesus in the first place in your life and He will lead you on the way of salvation. (12/25/99) Response: Mother teach me to put little newborn Jesus in the first place in my life! Our Lady: I am with you and am teaching you little children: your peace and hope are in God. That is why draw closer to God and put Him in the first place in your life. (01/25/2001) Response: Mother teach me to draw closer to God so he will be in the first place in my life! Our Lady: Dear children, today, watching you with a heart full of love, I want to tell you that, what you persistently seek, what you long for, my little children, is before you. It is sufficient with a clean heart to put my Son in the first place, and then you will see. Listen to me and let me lead you on this motherly way. (10/02/2004) Response: Mother help me to clean my heart so that I can put your Son in the first place in my life! Our Lady: “Dear children, With motherly love I implore you, love one another. May there be in your hearts, as my Son desired from the very beginning, love for the Heavenly Father and for your neighbor in the first place – above everything of this world. (10/02/2014) Response: Mother teach me to put God in the first place – above everything else! Our Lady: “Dear Children! As a mother, I implore you, open your heart and offer it to me, and fear nothing. I will be with you and will teach you how to put Jesus in the first place. I will teach you to love Him and to belong to Him completely. (03/18/2002) Response: Mother teach me to put Jesus in the first place in my life so that I will belong completely to Him! Let us pray: Mother Mary, you are our example of complete and total love for God. You modeled such love in every moment of your life on earth, and shine with that love now in Heaven. Mother give us your Immaculate Heart, so that we can love with your love, always putting the Lord in the very center of our lives and loving Him without limit. We know you can help us. We ask for your help today! Amen! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

June 3, 2020 Reflection – I invite you to decide for peace…

(c) Mary TV   June 2, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! June 3, 2020 St. Charles Lwanga, Martyr and His Companions, Martyrs Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady has come to us in Medjugorje as the Queen of Peace. This is the title she gave herself in the first days of the apparitions. God has sent her to us to build peace in our hearts, families, cities, countries and the entire world. She has worked tirelessly with us to teach us how to receive and live peace. But we can see that the battle between good and evil, love and hate, peace and war has only escalated. And so today, we must respond to Our Lady’s call to peace with all our hearts, all our prayers, and all our love. I have assembled a few of Our Lady’s messages about peace, so that we can pray through them and recommit ourselves to what she teaches us about peace. I share them with you, hoping that we can be those who become peace for others. Our Lady says to us: “Dear Children! Today I invite you to decide for peace. Pray that God give you the true peace. Live peace in your hearts and you will understand, dear children, that peace is the gift of God. Dear children, without love you cannot live peace. The fruit of peace is love and the fruit of love is forgiveness. I am with you and I invite all of you, little children, that before all else forgive in the family and then you will be able to forgive others. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (01/25/96) “Dear children! Thank you for having responded to my call.” (12/25/2016) “Dear children! With this message I call you anew to pray for peace. Particularly now when peace is in crisis, you be those who pray and bear witness to peace. Little children, be peace in this peaceless world. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (01/25/03) “Dear children! Also today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you and from this embrace I am giving you His peace and a longing for Heaven. I am praying with you for peace and am calling you to be peace… I am blessing all of you with my motherly blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (12/25/2015) “Dear children! I call you, little children, to pray without ceasing. If you pray, you are closer to God and He will lead you on the way of peace and salvation. That is why I call you today to give peace to others. Only in God is there true peace. Open your hearts and become those who give a gift of peace and others will discover peace in you and through you and in this way you will witness God’s peace and love which He gives you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (01/25/2000) “Dear children! In this time of grace, I call you anew to prayer. Little children, pray and prepare your hearts for the coming of the King of Peace, that with His blessing He may give peace to the whole world. Peacelessness has begun to reign in hearts and hatred reigns in the world. That is why, you who live my messages be the light and extended hands to this faithless world that all may come to know the God of Love. Do not forget, little children, I am with you and bless you all. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (11/25/2001) “Dear children! Also today I call you, in this time of grace, to pray for little Jesus to be born in your heart. May He, who is peace itself, give peace to the entire world through you. Therefore, little children, pray without ceasing for this turbulent world without hope, so that you may become witnesses of peace for all. May hope begin to flow through your hearts as a river of grace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (11/25/2008) “Dear children, As the Queen of Peace, I desire to give peace to you, my children, true peace which comes through the heart of my Divine Son. As a mother I pray that wisdom, humility and goodness may come to reign in your hearts; that peace may reign; that my Son may reign… When my Son will be the ruler in your hearts, you will be able to help others to come to know Him. When heavenly peace comes to rule over you, those who are seeking it in the wrong places, thus causing pain to my motherly heart, will recognize it. My children, great will be my joy when I see that you are accepting my words and that you desire to follow me. Do not be afraid, you are not alone. Give me your hands and I will lead you. Do not forget your shepherds. Pray that in their thoughts they may always be with my Son who called them to witness Him. Thank you.” (04/02/2012) May we receive the Holy Spirit, the gentle Dove, the Advocate, the Bearer of peace. May He fill us with His light and hope and strengthen us to be peace for others. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020

June 2, 2020 Reflection – My Motherly love desires that you be ready.

(c) Mary TV   June 2, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady is with us! She is with us in Medjugorje. She has come to be with us and to bless us, to bring us faith, hope and love. She has been sent to guide us at this time. She has given us many messages through the visionaries, messages that point us in one direction, towards God. Many people have mentioned to me lately that they are experiencing fear of the future. In our countries and societies there is a good amount of turmoil and unrest. It is easy to become fearful when we do not know what his coming. But Our Lady of Medjugorje is with us, and we should not let fear enter our hearts. She has come to help us. St. Peter, in his 2nd letter wrote this about the fear of the future: Beloved: Wait for and hasten the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved in flames and the elements melted by fire. But according to his promise we await new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you await these things, be eager to be found without spot or blemish before him, at peace. And consider the patience of our Lord as salvation. Therefore, beloved, since you are forewarned, be on your guard not to be led into the error of the unprincipled and to fall from your own stability. But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (2 Peter 3:12-15a, 17-18) St. Peter was counseling his brethren about what was important when waiting for the day of the Lord. What should we do when we know that our world will end one day, and judgement will come? What should we do?? He says:“be eager to be found without spot or blemish before him, at peace. And consider the patience of our Lord as salvation.” Are we supposed to get nervous and try to figure out how we can protect ourselves or see into the future events to know what to do? No, we are to consider the patience of the Lord as salvation. And we are not called to lose our peace, and fall from our own stability, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This advice is echoed in Our Lady’s messages. Take this one from 2018: August 02 2018 “Dear children, with a motherly love I am calling you to open hearts to peace; to open hearts to my Son, so that in your hearts love for my Son may sing, because only out of that love peace comes in the soul. My children, I know that you have goodness, I know that you have love – a merciful love, but many of my children still have a closed heart. They think that they can do it without directing their thoughts towards the Heavenly Father who illuminates-towards my Son who is always with you anew in the Eucharist and who desires to listen to you. My children, why do you not speak to Him? The life of each of you is important and precious, because it is a gift from the Heavenly Father for eternity. Therefore, do not ever forget to keep on thanking Him: speak to Him. I know, my children, that what is to come afterwards is unknown to you, but when your hereafter comes you will receive all the answers. My motherly love desires that you be ready. My children, by your life keep putting good feelings in the hearts of the people whom you meet, feelings of peace, goodness, love and forgiveness. Through prayer, hearken to what My Son is saying and act accordingly. Anew, I am calling you to prayer for your shepherds, for those whom my Son has called. Remember that they need prayers and love. Thank you.” The Mother urges us to believe that our lives are precious to God and place them in His hands. The way to face the future is with trust and peace, with love for God and for our brothers and sisters. She tells us that “what is to come afterwards is unknown to you, but when your hereafter comes you will receive all the answers.” We are not meant to know the future. We are meant to know God! So, don’t fret about what is happening or what is to come. Pray with all your heart and grow in love for God, stay close to Our Lady, and believe!!!In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! June 1, 2020 Reflection – The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church

The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and Our Lady at Pentecost! Mary, Mother of the Church!!! (c) Mary TV   June 1, 2020 The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the ChurchDear Family of Mary! This is the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church! It is a new memorial, (only 2 years old) which will fall on the Monday after Pentecost each year. What a fitting way to move back into Ordinary Time! With our Mother!!! Our Lady has only referred to herself as Mother of the Church once in her messages (so far). Here is the message. Our Lady speaks to us about the Church and how we should love the Church and do works of love for the Church!! Her words are amazing: June 02, 2016 “Dear children, as the Mother of the Church, as your mother, I am smiling as I look at you: how you are coming to me, how you are gathering around me, how you are seeking me. My comings among you are proof of how much Heaven loves you. They indicate to you the way to eternal life, to salvation. My apostles, you who strive to have a pure heart and to have my Son in it, you are on the good way. You who are seeking my Son are seeking the good way. He left many signs of His love. He left hope. It is easy to find Him if you are ready for sacrifice and penance – if you have patience, mercy and love for your neighbors. Many of my children do not see and do not hear because they do not want to. They do not accept my words and my works, yet through me, my Son calls everyone. His Spirit illuminates all of my children in the light of the Heavenly Father, in the unity of Heaven and Earth, in mutual love – because love invokes love and makes works more important than words. Therefore, my apostles, pray for your Church, love it and do works of love. No matter how betrayed or wounded, it is here because it comes from the Heavenly Father. Pray for your shepherds so that in them you may see the greatness of the love of my Son. Thank you.” The title “Mother of the Church” is so powerful and appropriate! Our Lady was at the center of the events in Christ’s life, always silently accompanying Him in His earthly journey, and then accompanying His Apostles as they went out to witness to Jesus and build the Church. Her presence was indispensable. That is why we are so blessed to have her with us today in this most amazing way in Medjugorje. She is here with us because God is up to something!! For Holy Mass today, the Preface for this Memorial eloquently expresses Our Lady’s role in the life of the Church, as Mother!! I want to share it with you so you can pray with the Church this beautiful preface before the Eucharistic prayers: Preface: Mary, Model and Mother of the Church   It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, and to proclaim your greatness with due praise, as we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. Receiving your Word in her Immaculate Heart, she was found worthy to conceive him in her virgin’s womb and, giving birth to the Creator, she nurtured the beginnings of the Church. Standing beside the Cross, she received the testament of divine love and took to herself as sons and daughters all those who by the Death of Christ are born to heavenly life. As the Apostles awaited the Spirit you had promised, she joined her supplication to the prayers of the disciples and so became the pattern of the Church at prayer. Raised to the glory of heaven, she accompanies your pilgrim Church with a mother’s love and watches in kindness over the Church’s homeward steps, until the Lord’s Day shall come in glorious splendor. And so, with all the Angels and Saints, we praise you, as without end we acclaim: Holy, Holy, Holy… Isn’t this beautiful!! Let us pray with gratitude to God for such a Mother!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020 PS. St. James Parish in Medjugorje has a “summer schedule” that begins today , June 1st and runs until September 1st. May 31, 2020 Reflection -Come Holy Spirit and Renew the Face of the Earth!

The Rainbow in Medjugorje on May 28, 2020 May 31, 2020 Pentecost Sunday Dear Family of Our Lady of Medjugore, Come, Holy Spirit!!! It was October 13, 1987, the 70th Anniversary of the apocalyptic sign given to the world at Fatima.  My wife Cathy and I were walking up the road to Cross Mountain.  Glancing to our right, we saw over St. James Church – as if touching its two steeples – the most beautiful rainbow! That rainbow spoke to us of God’s great love and blessing for us and for the world. We needed that sign as we had just miscarried a little one while in Medjugorje, and it gave us such peace. On May 28, 2020 there appeared a huge rainbow over St. James Church once again!! It appeared at the very end of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament!! This rainbow communicated a blessing of peace and hope to us as we gazed upon it!! Again, it seemed we all needed such a blessing, since Covid-19 has covered the world. The Lord was showing us that He has not run out of grace and blessings for us all! Later that evening, there was a rainstorm in South Bend, Indiana, where Cathy and I live! And as the rain continued, the clouds parted and the setting sun glanced through the rain, creating a huge and beautiful rainbow over our little city!! Another sign of God’s faithfulness and blessing! Cathy declared, “Two rainbows!! One over Medjugorje, and one over South Bend, the two places we consider home!!” Something great is coming!  Don’t be afraid! God is with us! Our Lady is filled with joy at the future.  Let’s pray with her today: “so that the Holy Spirit may change your lives and the face of this earth, which is in need of renewal in the Spirit…be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time.” May 25, 2020) In her last Anniversary message she told us: “I am preparing you for the new times that you may be firm in faith and persevering in prayer, so that the Holy Spirit may work through you and renew the face of the earth… !”  (June 25, 2019).  When she gives us her next message – on June 25, 2020 – we’ll have entered into the 40th year of her apparitions! On this great Pentecost Day let’s “be firm in faith and persevering in prayer,” and receive the gifts the Holy Spirit has for us!  Come, Holy Spirit!!! God bless you! May 29, 2020 Reflection -Power from on High!!

A huge rainbow hovered over St. James Church on May 28, 2020, at the end of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament!! A beautiful sign of God’s love and blessing!! (c) Mary TV 05/28/20   May 29, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “…Little children be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time…” (May 25, 2020) Our Lady’s beautiful words from the May 25, 2020 message show us our exalted calling in Christ. We are called to be prayer, joy and light! Jesus told His apostles: “And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Lk 24:29) This Power from on high is the Holy Spirit which fell upon the Apostles in the upper room on Pentecost. This Power taught them to pray as they had never prayed before. This Power enabled the Apostles to witness to Christ’s life, death and resurrection in any situation no matter how hostile. This Power gave them a joy that filled them and never stopped flowing out of them, no matter what situation they were in. This Power made them shine with an inner light that enlightened all those to whom they spoke. They became prayer for those who did not pray, joy for all those who did not see the way out, and carriers of light in the darkness of the peacelessness of their time. And this same Power comes over us at Baptism! This Power blesses the Bread and Wine, bringing us our Eucharistic Lord at Holy Mass. This Power strengthens us as Christian witnesses at Confirmation. This is the Power that infuses our marriages with true love. This is the power that transforms holy men into our Priests and gives our religious brothers and sisters the gifts they need to serve. This Power heals us when we are sick. And this Power guides us every moment of our lives, making us prayer, joy and light for all who need it so badly. This is the Holy Spirit! As we prepare for Pentecost, let’s pray this Litany to the Holy Spirit, asking for all the gifts, virtues, and blessings we need to become prayer, joy and light for the world we live in today: Litany to the Holy Spirit Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Father all-powerful, have mercy on us. Jesus, Eternal Son of the Father, Redeemer of the world, save us. Spirit of the Father and the Son, boundless life of both, sanctify us. Holy Trinity, hear us. Holy Spirit, Who proceedest from the Father and the Son, enter our hearts. Holy Spirit, Who art equal to the Father and the Son, enter our hearts. Promise of God the Father, have mercy on us. Ray of heavenly light, have mercy on us. Author of all good, [etc.] Source of heavenly water Consuming fire Ardent charity Spiritual unction Spirit of love and truth Spirit of wisdom and understanding Spirit of counsel and fortitude Spirit of knowledge and piety Spirit of the fear of the Lord Spirit of grace and prayer Spirit of peace and meekness Spirit of modesty and innocence Holy Spirit, the Comforter Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier Holy Spirit, Who governest the Church Gift of God, the Most High Spirit Who fillest the universe Spirit of the adoption of the children of God Holy Spirit, inspire us with horror of sin. Holy Spirit, come and renew the face of the earth. Holy Spirit, shed Thy light in our souls. Holy Spirit, engrave Thy law in our hearts. Holy Spirit, inflame us with the flame of Thy love. Holy Spirit, open to us the treasures of Thy graces. Holy Spirit, teach us to pray well. Holy Spirit, enlighten us with Thy heavenly inspirations. Holy Spirit, lead us in the way of salvation. Holy Spirit, grant us the only necessary knowledge. Holy Spirit, inspire in us the practice of good. Holy Spirit, grant us the merits of all virtues. Holy Spirit, make us persevere in justice. Holy Spirit, be Thou our everlasting reward. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, Send us Thy Holy Spirit. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, pour down into our souls the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, grant us the Spirit of wisdom and piety. V. Come, Holy Spirit! Fill the hearts of Thy faithful, R. And enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Let us pray. Grant, O merciful Father, that Thy Divine Spirit may enlighten, inflame and purify us, that He may penetrate us with His heavenly dew and make us fruitful in good works, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who with Thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, liveth and reigneth, one God, forever and ever. R. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan ©Mary TV 2020 P.S. Fr. Leon has been praying a Novena to the Holy Spirit with us on Mary TV since May 22. It will conclude on Saturday, May 30. May 28, 2020 Reflection -You know what needs to be changed.

(c) Mary TV   May 28, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! “…In your hearts, little children, you know what needs to be changed. Return to God and His Commandments, so that the Holy Spirit may change your lives and the face of this earth, which is in need of renewal in the Spirit…” (May 25, 2020) We still have time to prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Sunday!! We can do an Examination of Conscience to help us uncover what needs to change and give the Holy Spirit room to work in our hearts. (If you can go to confession, that would be even better!!) Who knows, the face of the earth may get lighter and brighter if we do!! There are many guides to examination of conscience. The Ten Commandments are basic and so are the Beatitudes. But here is an examination written by Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, D.D., J.C.D. It is based on looking at our relationships. I like it because it gives a good context for determining what needs to change!! Our Lady told us we know what needs to be changed!! But this will help us to be precise!! An Examination of Conscience My relationship with God: Did I love God above all things today? Did I seek to love Him in all that I did? Did I put myself at His service? Was I aware of His presence? Did I turn to Him? Did I tell Him that I love Him? Was He the center of my life today? Did I neglect or omit my spiritual practices today? Did worldly anxieties, or fears, keep me from following God’s will? Did I lack trust in God’s love for me today? Was I critical of the Church’s pastors, in thought or word? Did I complain and murmur when I experienced difficulties today, instead of patiently accepting every event and “happening” as coming from God? Was I open to God’s inspiration today? My relationship with my neighbor: Did I fail in “being Christ” to my family members or my neighbor? Did I love others for God’s sake? Did I practice self-forgetfulness, or did I practice self-pity and self-absorption? Was I obstinate, hardhearted, hateful, jealous, injurious, backbiting, violent or unjust in words or actions? Was I lacking in charity, forgiveness, or honesty? Did I gossip and cause injury to another’s reputation or goods? Was I impure or unchaste in any thought, word, or action? Did I steal from, or cheat, someone? Did I behave in a manner that reflects badly upon or could give scandal to the Church? Was I excessive in my zeal, or uncharitable in my witness of the Faith? Was I disobedient to the directives of those in authority over me? Have I been cooperative and generous with my time, energy, and talents in the work of the Church, especially in the apostolate of catechesis? My relationship with myself: Did I fail to make an honest effort to grow in one of the moral virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance or the theological virtues of faith, hope and charity? Did I fall into discouragement? Did I fail to go forward in serenity and trust in God? Did I fail to practice some form of mortification? Did I fail to try to overcome one of my chief faults? Was I prideful, envious, vain, greedy, angry, intemperate, gluttonous, slothful, impatient, or immodest? Did I fail to cultivate the virtue of humility? (Humility is the foundation of all the virtues. The virtue of humility teaches us to consider ourselves inferior to everyone, at all times.) https://mariancatechist.com/examination-of-conscience-looking-at-relationships/ Only two more days before Pentecost!! Let’s pray for one another!! We pray together to the Holy Spirit: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love. V. Send forth Thy Spirit and we shall be created. R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray. O God, Who by the light of the Holy Spirit didst instruct the hearts of thy faithful, grant by the same Spirit that we will be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan © Mary TV 2020

May 27, 2020 Pray with me for a new life for all of you!

(c) Mary TV   May 27, 2020 St. Augustine of Canterbury Dear Family of Mary! Once again, here is the message given on May 25, 2020: “Dear children! Pray with me for a new life for all of you. In your hearts, little children, you know what needs to be changed. Return to God and His Commandments, so that the Holy Spirit may change your lives and the face of this earth, which is in need of renewal in the Spirit. Little children be prayer for all those who do not pray; be joy for all those who do not see the way out; be carriers of light in the darkness of this peaceless time. Pray and seek the help and protection of the saints so that you also could yearn for Heaven and Heavenly realities. I am with you and am protecting and blessing all of you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.”   (May 25, 2020) Our Lady is a powerful intercessor before God. Because of her sinlessness and purity, Our Lady is ‘in sync’ with God! Her will is always joyfully submitted to the Lord! “Be it done to me according to your word.” She lives in complete union with God. And so, when she asks us to: “Pray with me for a new life for all of you….”, we know that this prayer intention is straight from the Father. To pray WITH Our Lady is to join in a prayer that will go straight into the Father’s heart! He will not reject this prayer. The question is, do we want a new life? Do we want to change? Do we want to convert and return to God? Because if we pray with Our Lady for a new life, God will answer with the grace of conversion and repentance! Are we ready?!! Let’s let Our Lady speak to us about our new life through her messages, and pray for our hearts to open to the possibility! A little Litany for a New Life: Our Lady: Pray, dear children, and have more trust in me because I am here in order to help you and to guide you on a new path toward a new life. (10/25/92) Response: Mother, help me to trust in the new path to the new life you are offering me. Our Lady: I love you and that is why I am with you, in order to teach you and to lead you to a new life of conversion and renunciation. (11/25/92) Response: Mother, teach me how to convert and to renounce all that keeps me from a new life. Our Lady: I call you, little children, to open your hearts to God the Creator for Him to transform and mold you in His image, so that all the good which has fallen asleep in your hearts may awaken to a new life and a longing towards eternity. (02/25/2010) Response: Mother, help me say “yes” to the Father so that He can wake up my sleeping heart to a new life in His image. Our Lady: You are precious and I call you, little children, to holiness, to eternal life. Therefore, be aware that this life is passing. I love you and call you to a new life of conversion (05/25/2014) Response: Mother, help me feel your love for me, that I am precious and called, so that I will choose to follow you into a new life. Our Lady: “Dear children! In this time of grace, I am calling all of you to open your hearts to God’s mercy, to begin a new life through prayer, penance and a decision for holiness. This time of spring moves you to a new life, to a renewal, in your thoughts and hearts. Therefore, little children, I am with you to help you to say ‘yes’ to God and to God’s commandments with resoluteness. You are not alone; I am with you through the grace which the Most High gives me for you and your descendants. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (03/25/2017) Response: Holy Mother, help me to say “yes” to God with resoluteness, and be renewed. Our Lady: “Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light. Pray, little children, confess and begin a new life in grace. Decide for God and He will lead you towards holiness; and the cross will be a sign of victory and hope for you. Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God’s plan. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (03/25/2018) Response: Dear Mother, thank you for calling me to be with you in prayer in this time of grace…help me accept God’s grace!! Our Lady: You have a great grace of being called to a new life through the messages which I am giving you. This, little children, is a time of grace, a time and a call to conversion for you and the future generations. (10/25/18) Response: Thank you, Mother, for bringing this great grace of conversion to us. May we respond to your call. Our Lady: “Dear children! Today, I am calling you to a new life. It is not important how old you are, open your heart to Jesus who will transform you in this time of grace and, like nature, you will be born into a new life in God’s love, and you will open your heart to Heaven and the things of Heaven. I am still with you, because God permitted me out of love for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (02/25/2019) Response: Thank you, Mother, for calling me to a new life. Thank you, dearest Lord, for permitting Mary to be with us! Our Lady: Do not resist hope and peace. Along with your prayer and fasting, by His cross, my Son will cast away the darkness that wants to surround you and come to rule over you. He will give you the strength for a new life. (03/02/2013) Response: Mother, help me not to resist hope and peace, to be humble, to pray and fast for the strength of a new life. Our Lady: Today I am calling you to live your new life with Jesus. May the Risen One give you strength to always be strong in the trials of life and to be faithful and persevering in prayer; because Jesus saved you by His wounds and by His Resurrection gave you new life. (04/25/2018) Response: Thank you, Jesus for giving me a new life by your Cross and Resurrection. I say Yes to You!
