December 4, 2019 Reflection – Blessed are the merciful…

(c)Mary TV 2018 December 4, 2019St. John Damascene Dear Family of Mary! “…My children, apostles of my love, to live and work for others, for all those whom you love through my Son, is the joy and comfort of earthly life. If through prayer, love and sacrifice the Kingdom of God is in your hearts, then your life is joyful and bright. Among those who love my Son and who love each other through Him, words are not necessary. A gaze is sufficient for the unspoken words and unexpressed feelings to be heard. There where love reigns, time no longer counts. We are with you…” (December 2, 2019) Jesus told us: Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Mt 5:1-12) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan©Mary TV 2019

December 3, 2019 Reflection – A Motherly Blessing!

(c)Mary TV 2016 December 3, 2019St. Francis Xavier Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady speaks of her motherly blessing in this most recent message (December 2, 2019). She has spoken of her motherly blessing at least 64 times over these 38 years. It would be easy to pass over this special blessing that Our Lady gives to us as our mother. It just sounds nice. Mothers are nice and they wish nice things for us! That is all. But I have been learning that a motherly blessing is much more than a nice gesture, a wish for the good of the child. It is actually very powerful. I came upon this idea through the teachings of Father Gabriele Amorth, the great exorcist of Rome, who died only recently. Fr. Amorth wrote about the powerful effect that parents and grandparents can have over their children and grandchildren, when they curse them. That’s right, when they curse them… Fr. Amorth wrote in his book “An Exorcist Tells His Story” about the power of curses spoken by parents and grandparents in this way: “Curses invoke evil, and the origin of all evil is demonic. When curses are spoken with true perfidy, especially if there is a blood relationship between the one who casts them and the accursed, the outcome can be terrible. The most common instances that I have encountered involved parents or grandparents who called down evil upon children or grandchildren. The most serious consequences occur when the evil wish is against someone’s life or when it is pronounced on a special occasion, such as a wedding. The authority and the bonds that tie parents to their children are stronger than any other person’s….” (Fr. Gabriele Amorth. An Exorcist Tells His Story”. P 130) In his book, Fr. Amorth tells three instances of curses by parents or grandparents that he encountered, and which had very evil results. It is so sad to read about. But it points to something…the spiritual authority of the parent for good or ill. Well, I tell you this, because it dawned on me that if parents and grandparents can have such devastating power over their children and grandchildren for evil, think of how much good we can do if we are instead blessing our children and grandchildren! Think of how much we can protect and heal them if we are blessing them every day and pouring out our protection upon them, as their parents and grandparents!! That realization is what opened up for me the incredible gift we can receive from Our Lady! She is truly our Mother, given to us by Jesus from the Cross, just before His death. Her motherhood is even stronger than natural family bonds!  And she loves us so much. Think what power her Motherly blessing must have if we accept it!! She told us yesterday: “Dear children, as I am looking at you who love my Son, my heart is being filled with tenderness. I am blessing you with a motherly blessing. With a motherly blessing, I am also blessing your shepherds – you who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy. You are following Him, who was the first shepherd, the first missionary…” (December 2, 2019) Our Lady’s heart is filled with tenderness for us, and for our shepherds as well. Her love is overflowing for us. And she is blessing us!!! She is blessing us!!! We are being blessed with probably the most powerful blessing of a mother anyone could receive. And it comes to us because she is truly our Mother!! Our Lady’s blessing goes out to each pilgrim who goes to Medjugorje, and to each person who responds to her call anywhere in the world! Her blessing is what gives us so much peace in Medjugorje and comes with us back home!! Her blessing heals us interiorly and makes us happy and strong. I think we should have great confidence in Our Lady’s Motherly blessing. She has been and continues to give it to us, in abundance! This blessing is what is changing the world, one heart at a time. She brings us close to Jesus, and opens our hearts with her blessing, so that we can receive Him in faith. We should be telling everyone we know about her blessing. All who ask for it, will receive it! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan©Mary TV 2019

December 2, 2019 – Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje

Dear children, as I am looking at you who love my Son, my heart is being filled with tenderness. I am blessing you with a motherly blessing. With a motherly blessing, I am also blessing your shepherds – you who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy. You are following Him, who was the first shepherd, the first missionary. My children, apostles of my love, to live and work for others, for all those whom you love through my Son, is the joy and comfort of earthly life. Among those who love my Son and who love each other through Him, words are not necessary. A gaze is sufficient for the unspoken words and unexpressed feelings to be heard. There where love reigns, time no longer counts. We are with you. My Son knows you and loves you. Love is that which brings you to me and through that love I will come to you and speak to you of the works of salvation. I desire for all of my children to have faith and to feel my motherly love which leads them to Jesus. Therefore, you, my children, wherever you go, illuminate with love and faith as apostles of love.  Thank you.  (December 2, 2019)

November 29, 2019 Reflection – May Jesus be born in our hearts!

(c)Mary TV 2019 November 29, 2019 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! May this time be a time of prayer for you. Without God you do not have peace. Therefore, little children, pray for peace in your hearts and families, so that Jesus can be born in you and give you His love and blessing. The world is at war because hearts are full of hatred and jealousy. In the eyes, little children, peacelessness is seen because you have not permitted Jesus to be born in your lives. Seek Him, pray, and He will give Himself to you in the Child who is joy and peace. I am with you and I pray for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 25, 2019) The more I read this message, the more I understand that Our Lady is trying to prepare us for Christmas. This message is an Advent message. “May this time be a time of prayer for you.” Advent is a time of prayer, very much like Lent. In Advent we try to pray more. So, Our Lady is talking about how to spend our Advent. More Prayer!! “Without God you do not have peace.” This simple statement has never been more evident. Without God, peace is impossible. And we see that peacelessness everywhere today. “Therefore, little children, pray for peace in your hearts and families, so that Jesus can be born in you and give you His love and blessing.” If we pray for peace during this Advent, Jesus will come to us and be born in our hearts. Isn’t that what we need the most? Our poor hearts are like the stable at Bethlehem, empty, dirty and forlorn. There is no light there. Our Lady tells us to yearn for Jesus, yearn for peace, and Jesus will be born in us. “The world is at war because hearts are full of hatred and jealousy.” When we are far from God, we are unprotected from our enemy. If Jesus is not born in our hearts, they are vacant and vulnerable. Satan can enter and create hatred and jealousy in our thoughts, feeling and actions. Satan can turn us inward, where we care only about ourselves, and the result is loneliness and anxiety, hatred and jealousy. “In the eyes, little children, peacelessness is seen because you have not permitted Jesus to be born in your lives.” Our Lady sees us, she looks in our eyes. She can see if we are at peace. She knows that Jesus is the only one who can save us. She wants Him to be born in us, just as He was born in the stable all those years ago. She wants us to welcome Him, let Him come into us, and save us. “Seek Him, pray, and He will give Himself to you in the Child who is joy and peace.” The answer for us is so simple. Seek Jesus, just ask Him to come, look for Him, and He will come on Christmas Day as He did all those years ago, and give Himself to us – in the Child!!! Baby Jesus will come to us, to save us. “I am with you and I pray for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady is with us to help us achieve this wonderful union with Baby Jesus. She wants us to receive the Child in our hearts on Christmas Day. We must pray for this to happen this Advent. This message should be our Daily Advent prayer!   In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!Cathy Nolan© Mary TV 2019

November 28, 2019 Reflection – Give thanks!

(c)Mary TV 2019The Youth Festival is a huge and joyful time of thanksgiving!!  November 28, 2019 Thanksgiving Day (USA) Dear Family of Mary! Today in the USA we have a special day set aside to give thanks to God for all our blessings. It is a beautiful family day. Giving thanks is a very healing practice. All we are and have has been given to us by God. So giving thanks to Him is the perfect response to those gifts and a gesture that communicates to God that we love Him dearly!! So, let’s practice thanksgiving today, and every day! Our Lady once told us: “Dear children! Today I invite you all to rejoice in the life which God gives you. Little children, rejoice in God, the Creator, because He has created you so wonderfully. Pray that your life be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of your heart like a river of joy. Little children, give thanks unceasingly for all that you possess, for each little gift which God has given you, so that a joyful blessing always comes down from God upon your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (August 25, 1988) St. Faustina wrote this most beautiful hymn of thanksgiving and praise! Through it we can rejoice in God, our Creator:   Be adored, O our Creator and Lord. O universe, humbly glorify your God; Thank your Creator to the best of your powers And praise God’s incomprehensible   mercy.   Come, O earth, in all your fine greenery; Come, you too, O fathomless sea. Let your gratitude become a loving song, And sing the greatness of God’s mercy.   Come, beautiful, radiant sun. Come, bright dawn which precedes it. Join in one hymn, and let your clear voices Sing in one accord God’s great mercy.   Come, hills and valleys, sighing woods and thickets, Come, lovely flowers of morning tide; Let your unique scent Adore and glorify God’s mercy.   Come, all you lovely things of earth, At which man does not cease to wonder. Come, adore God in your harmony, Glorifying God’s inconceivable mercy.   Come, indelible beauty of all the earth, And, with great humility, adore your Creator, For all things are locked in His mercy, With one mighty voice all things cry out; how great is the mercy of God.   But above all these beauties, A more pleasing praise to God Is a soul innocent and filled with childlike trust Which, through grace, is closely bound to Him. November 27, 2019 Reflection – May this be a time of prayer for you.

(c)Mary TV 2017 November 27, 2019 Dear Family of Mary! Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 25, 2019) Mother Teresa of Calcutta spoke about prayer and the connection between prayer in the family and peace. Here is a transcript of an old video in which she spoke about prayer and its fruit: St. Teresa of Calcutta: Where does this love begin? In our own family. In our own home… How does it begin? By praying together. The family that prays together stays together. And if you stay together, you will love one another. As God loves each one of you. Today in the world there is so much suffering…because of the want of prayer, of unity in the family. So today when we are together, let us make one strong resolution that we will bring prayer into our family. That we will teach our children to pray. And pray with them. And you will see the joy and the love and the peace that will come into your heart. Because the fruit of prayer is a deepening of faith. And the fruit of faith is love. And the fruit of love is service. And the fruit of service is peace. Works of love are works of peace. That is why let us bring the tender love of God in our family. November 24, 2019 – Update from Denis

“My children, be my apostles who have not lived in vain. Do not forget that you will come before the Heavenly Father and tell Him about yourself. Be ready! Again I am warning you, pray for those whom my Son called, whose hands He blessed and whom He gave as a gift to you. Pray, pray, pray for your shepherds. Thank you.”  (April 2, 2013)     Dear Shipmates! Please read this urgent appeal from an exorcist priest who is part of Mary TV’s family, Mary TV’s dear friend, Fr. Raymond Donohue.  (Fr. Donohue gives his testimony in Fruit show #335, and also warns about New Age in the “More from Medjugorje” window on Mary TV’s website.)  Subject: Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD)   Today, Sunday, November 24th, the annual bishops November campaign once again takes place.  Your box of church envelops contains an envelope for this appeal.  My recommendation is not to contribute.   We usually tear up the envelope or leave a note explaining why we will not contribute to this campaign.     Would you knowingly contribute to ‘progressive political alliances’ like ACORN?  Would you willingly contribute to the liberal power base, to organizations that promote extreme left-wing causes such as taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand?  To Alinskyite organizing networks?  Yet our bishops take up this collection in almost every Catholic church in America.  You probably think you’ve never given money to ACORN and its allies, but if you’ve contributed to the annual November Catholic Campaign for Human Development appeal of the Catholic bishops, you’ve done just that.   Catholics are led to believe that their contributions to CCHD are used to help the poor – funding soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other worthwhile projects that provide aid to the least fortunate among us.  It appears almost none of the money goes to the poor.   Of the 250 or so organizations that CCHD money goes for, approximately one-third goes to causes that  promote contraceptives, promote abortion or embrace homosexual rights.  Many distributions are awarded to organizations undermining the Church’s efforts to protect human life and dignity according to Reform CCHD Now.   CCHD was founded in 1970 as an initiative to address the root causes of poverty within a few years after its inception, the CCHD began to show a special affinity for organizations that embraced leftist political ideology — blaming poverty on the Capitalist System and demanding greater government involvement in the market place.  Its model was taken from Saul Alinsky’s Marxist Industrial Areas Foundation. PLEASE DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS COLLECTION>>NOT EVEN A PENNY! THANK YOU!!   IN JESUS AND MARY, ~FATHER RAY   (and every Catholic priest who follows God’s Law and commandments. I suggest that you might Give any money you would contribute to this to your local food shelter or Harvest House or local charity).
