Prayer at the Blue Cross on March 18th, 2025   March 18, 2025 Mirjana’s yearly apparition Dear Family of Mary Since 1995, Mirjana Soldo has received a yearly apparition on March 18th. These apparitions occur on her birthday! But Mirjana has insisted that it is not for her birthday that Our Lady chose March 18th, but for some other reason. Each year pilgrims and parishioners gather at the Blue Cross to pray and await Our Lady’s coming. It is a joyous and blessed time of prayer. (Mirjana used to receive Our Lady publically at the Blue Cross, but for some years now, Our Lady has asked to meet Mirjana privately in her home on this day.) This year, as usual, Mary TV will stream this prayer time at the Blue Cross, live, so that Our Lady’s children from all over the globe can join in the prayer. The stream of the prayer at the Blue Cross in honor of Our Lady’s coming to Mirjana on March 18, 2025 will begin at 12:00 pm Medjugorje time and conclude at 2:15 pm! Ask and it will be given to you…   March 13, 2025 Dear Family of Mary This is the Gospel for today: Matthew 7:7-12 Jesus said to his disciples: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asked for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asked for a fish? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.  “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.” The Gospel of the Lord. How comforting it is to know that we can simply ask the Lord for what we need, seek it from Him, and we will find it, and knock on His door and He will open it to us. The Lord is not far off, aloof, and indifferent. He is ready to help us at all times. Denis and I have experienced God’s great love over the past week. In the face of a serious illness, Jesus has surrounded us with wonderful doctors and health care workers, and with incredibly loving family and friends, including all of you shipmates! We have experienced the love of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, through all of you! Thank you!! Our Lady also taught us about asking for what we need from Jesus, in this message: Thursday, December 1, 1983 “Thanks to all of you who have come here, so numerous during this year, in spite of snow, ice and bad weather, to pray to Jesus. Continue, hold on in your suffering. You know well that when a friend asks you for something, you give it to him. It is thus with Jesus. When you pray without ceasing, and you come in spite of your fatigue, He will give you all that you ask from Him. For that, pray.” This message is very consoling! We have a God who loves us. And Our Lady is so happy that we come to pray with her even when it is difficult. Let’s continue to pray for her intentions in the midst of our difficulties. What more do we need? Jesus has given us far more than we could have asked for in this difficult time. Denis has a long road to recovery, and so we ask you to be patient with us. We probably will not be able to do the Daily Rosary or Divine Mercy for a few more days. So pray for us some more! I will send out more news as I can.   Only through the love of God is eternity gained. March 10, 2025 Dear Family of Mary Here is the responsorial psalm for today’s Mass – Psalm 19: R/ (Jn 6:63b) Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The decree of the Lord is trustworthy, giving wisdom to the simple. R/ The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The command of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eye. R/ The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; The ordinances of the Lord are true, all of them just. R/ Let the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart find favor before you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. R/ We often think of God’s Law as something restrictive and distasteful. Fasting, penance, “thou shalt not” stuff. Our modern world encourages us to do what we want to do! I am my own boss. But we know what a mess we can make of our lives with that attitude. God gives us laws because they can help us to find our true selves and the happiness of living a good life. His law refreshes the soul, rejoices the heart, enlightens the eye, gives purity and truth to those who live it. Mother Mary gave us a message in which she gave us the secret to understanding and living God’s law! October 2, 2006 “Dear Children! I am coming to you in this your time to direct the call to eternity to you. This is the call of love. I call you to love because only through love will you come to know the love of God. Many think that they have faith in God and that they know His laws. They try to live according to them; but they do not do what is the most important; they do not love Him. My children, pray and fast. This is the way which will help you to open yourselves and to love. Only through the love of God is eternity gained. I am with you. I will lead you with the motherly love. Thank you for having responded.” The secret to living God’s law is to love Him! When we love God, we can live His law, because it comes from Him. It is His love sent to us in a practical way, to lead us into the joy of life! “A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.”   March 7, 2025 Dear Family of Mary, Psalm 51 “A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.” Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness;  in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt  and of my sin cleanse me.  For I acknowledge my offense,  and my sin is before me always: “Against you only have I sinned,  and done what is evil in your sight.” For you are not pleased with sacrifices;  should I offer a burnt offering, you would not accept it. My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit;  a heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.  This is the Psalm reading for Mass today! It is such a beautiful prayer. Humility is the gift that prepares us for Heaven. Our Lady has taught us about humility as well: October 2, 2010 “Dear children; Today I call you to a humble, my children, humble devotion. Your hearts need to be just. May your crosses be your means in the battle against the sins of the present time. May your weapon be patience and boundless love, a love that knows to wait and which will make you capable of recognizing God’s signs, that your life, by humble love, may show the truth to all those who seek it in the darkness of lies… My children, my apostles, help me to open the paths to my Son. Your heart is like ploughed soil …   March 6, 2025 Dear Family of Mary January 25, 2008  “Dear children! With the time of Lent, you are approaching a time of grace. Your heart is like ploughed soil and it is ready to receive the fruit which will grow into what is good. You, little children, are free to choose good or evil. Therefore, I call you to pray and fast. Plant joy and the fruit of joy will grow in your hearts for your good, and others will see it and receive it through your life. Renounce sin and choose eternal life. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May our hearts be like ploughed soil, ready to receive the seeds of faith that the Lord will plant in them. Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned! March 5, 2025 Ash Wednesday Dear Family of Mary March 2, 2019  “Dear children, I call you ‘apostles of my love’. I am showing you my Son who is the true peace and the true love. As a mother, through the mercy of God, I desire to lead you to Him. My children, this is why I am calling you to reflect on yourselves, starting out from my Son, that you look to Him with the heart and that you may see with the heart where you are and where your life is going. My children, I am calling you to comprehend that it is, thanks to my Son, that you live – through His love and sacrifice. You are asking of my Son to be merciful to you and I am calling you to mercy. You are asking of Him to be good to you and to forgive you, and for how long am I imploring you, my children, to forgive and to love all the people whom you meet? When you comprehend my words with the heart, you will comprehend and come to know the true love and you will be able to be apostles of that love, my apostles, my dear children. Thank you.” Let us pray: Psalm 51 R: Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned. Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness;  in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Be my hands of peace and prayer…   February 28, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! The February 25, 2025 Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje: “Dear children, May this springtime be an encouragement for personal conversion for you, that with your lives you may pray and love God above all, for all those who are in need. Little children, be my hands of peace and prayer; be love for all those who do not love, do not pray and do not want peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady calls us to pray and love God above all!! This is our first and only call! But this kind of prayer and love will produce many fruits. As we love God above all, we will begin to see our neighbors as God sees them. We are all in total need of God. But those who have not found the Lord are subject to all kinds of sorrows, such as hatred, injury, doubt, despair, darkness, sadness, and so much more. We can point the way to joy! We can pray for the peace that only God can give to fall on our neighbors. Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace) Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.
