Give glory to God the Creator in the colors of nature!   February 12, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Today for Holy Mass, we again read from Genisis about our creation! The narrative zooms down, presenting how God made man from the clay of the ground… God makes all the trees and plants for man’s sustainance and warns him not to eat of a certain tree. How present and loving God is to Adam and Eve. How generous and also wise He is. Let’s prayerfully read this account: Genesis 2:4b-9, 15-17 At the time when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens—while as yet there was no field shrub on earth and no grass of the field had sprouted, for the Lord God had sent no rain upon the earth and there was no man to till the soil, but a stream was welling up out of the earth and was watering all the surface of the ground—the Lord God formed man out of the clay of the ground and blew into his nos­trils the breath of life, and so man became a living being.  Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and he placed there the man whom he had formed. Out of the ground the Lord God made various trees grow that were delightful to look at and good for food, with the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it. The Lord God gave man this order: “You are free to eat from any of the trees of the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. From that tree you shall not eat; the moment you eat from it you are surely doomed to die.” We know the outcome of this situation, and it is painful. But we also know that God did not give up on Adam and Eve and He will not give up on us. This message from Our Lady reflects the love of God for us, and calls us to relate to Him as the loving Father He is!! August 25, 1999  “Dear children! Also today I call you to give glory to God the Creator in the colors of nature. He speaks to you also through the smallest flower about His beauty and the depth of love with which He has created you. Little children, may prayer flow from your hearts like fresh water from a spring. May the wheat fields speak to you about the mercy of God towards every creature. That is why, renew prayer of thanksgiving for everything He gives you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we follow Our Lady’s advice. Give glory to God!! Open yourselves to profound prayer…   February 11, 2025 Our Lady of Lourdes Dear Family of Mary! Here is the second half of the Creation account, found in Genesis 1:20 – 2:3! It is really good to read these anointed words with quiet hearts and minds, so that we can again realize our deep dependence upon God, for our entire being. This dependence is actually Heaven! Genesis 1: 20 – 31 And God said, “Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens.” So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the cattle according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all his work which he had done in creation. (Genesis 1: 20 – 31) God did everything He could to bless and care for us. He set up a world of plenty and peace. But we know the rest of the story. It is very sad, so sad. But no matter how much we have strayed from God, He always tries to draw us back to Himself. And in these days, the Father has sent our Heavenly Mother, Mary most Holy, to draw us back to Himself again. And she has stayed with us for over 43 years, constantly encouraging us and correcting us so that we will grow ever closer to God and not fall away. Her messages are incredibly helpful to us. Here is one: June 25, 2017 “Dear children! Today, I desire to thank you for your perseverance and call you to open yourselves to profound prayer. Prayer, little children, is the heart of faith and is hope in eternal life. Therefore, pray with the heart until your heart sings with thanksgiving to God the Creator who gave you life. I am with you, little children, and carry to you my motherly blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call…” May we respond to her call to profound prayer until our hearts sing with thanksgiving to God the Creator who gave us life!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Rejoice in God, the Creator…   February 10, 2025 St. Scholastica Dear Family of Mary! Today at Mass, we begin reading the Book of Genesis!! Here is today’s first reading: Genesis 1:1-19 “In the beginning, when God created the heav­ens and the earth, the earth was a formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss, while a mighty wind swept over the waters.  Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw how good the light was. God then separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” Thus evening came, and morning followed—the first day.  Then God said, “Let there be a dome in the middle of the waters, to separate one body of water from the other.” And so it happened: God made the dome, and it separated the water above the dome from the water below it. God called the dome “the sky.” Evening came, and morning followed—the second day.  Then God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered into a single basin, so that the dry land may appear.” And so it happened: the water under the sky was gathered into its basin, and the dry land appeared. God called the dry land “the earth,” and the basin of the water he called “the sea.” God saw how good it was. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation: every kind of plant that bears seed and every kind of fruit tree on earth that bears fruit with its seed in it.” And so it happened: the earth brought forth every kind of plant that bears seed and every kind of fruit tree on earth that bears fruit with its seed in it. God saw how good it was. Evening came, and morning followed—the third day.  Then God said: “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky, to separate day from night. Let them mark the fixed times, the days and the years, and serve as luminaries in the dome of the sky, to shed light upon the earth.” And so it happened: God made the two great lights, the greater one to govern the day, and the lesser one to govern the night; and he made the stars. God set them in the dome of the sky, to shed light upon the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. God saw how good it was. Eve­ning came, and morning followed—the fourth day.” I love reading the creation account in Genesis, because it helps me to see the vastness of God’s brilliant plan to create our world and our universe. From the tiniest atom to the most gigantic star, everything has been meticulously designed. Why? For us!!! Our Lady says it this way: August 25, 1988 “Dear children! Today I invite you all to rejoice in the life which God gives you. Little children, rejoice in God, the Creator, because He has created you so wonderfully. Pray that your life be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of your heart like a river of joy. Little children, give thanks unceasingly for all that you possess, for each little gift which God has given you, so that a joyful blessing always comes down from God upon your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Let’s just let that wonder bounce around in our hearts and heads today. Let brotherly love continue   February 7, 2025 First Friday Dear Family of Mary! One last scripture from Hebrews! It is so very down to earth and practical!! We want to have such wisdom in our lives! Hebrews 13:1-8 Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. Be mindful of prisoners as if sharing their imprisonment, and of the ill-treated as of yourselves, for you also are in the body. Let marriage be honored among all and the marriage bed be kept undefiled, for God will judge the immoral and adulterers. Let your life be free from love of money but be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never forsake you or abandon you. Thus we may say with confidence: The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me? Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and ­imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Let brotherly love continue!! Amen. Our Lady says the same to us in this message: June 2, 2018  “Dear children, I am calling you to accept my words which I am speaking to you as a mother, with a simplicity of heart, so that you may set out on the way of complete light and purity, of the singular love of my Son, man and God. A joy – a light indescribable in human words – will penetrate your soul and the peace and love of my Son will take hold of you. I desire this for all of my children. Therefore, you, apostles of my love, you who know how to love and forgive, you who do not judge, you whom I encourage, you be an example to all those who are not going on the way of light and love or who have diverted from it. By your life show them the truth. Show them love because love overcomes all difficulties, and all of my children thirst for love. Your unity in love is a gift to my Son and me. But, my children, remember that to love also means to desire the good for your neighbor and to desire conversion of your neighbor’s soul. As I am looking at you gathered around me, my heart is sad, because I see so little brotherly love, merciful love. My children, the Eucharist – my Son alive among you – His words will help you comprehend, because His word is life, His word makes the soul breathe, His word brings about cognition of love. Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant! February 6, 2025 St Paul Miki and Companions Dear Family of Mary! In our first reading for Mass today we hear more from the Letter to the Hebrews! It is an eloquent call to understand what an awesome thing it is to approach the Living God!! What should we expect? Listen to this!! Hebrews 12:18-19, 21-24 Brothers and sisters: You have not approached that which could be touched and a blazing fire and gloomy darkness and storm and a trumpet blast and a voice speaking words such that those who heard begged that no message be further addressed to them. Indeed, so fearful was the spectacle that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.” No, you have approached Mount Zion and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and countless angels in festal gathering, and the assembly of the firstborn enrolled in heaven, and God the judge of all, and the spirits of the just made ­perfect, and Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and the sprinkled Blood that speaks more eloquently than that of Abel. The word of the Lord Before Jesus came, the Father related to His people through signs and wonders that were awesome and terrible. But when He sent His Son, Jesus, that old dispensation passed away, and the new one began! We see Jesus!! He explains everything. He brings all into the light!! But still, even in this day, there are far too many who do not know Jesus. Our Lady warns us in this message not to miss out. We need to enter into the reality of Jesus as well: June 2, 2011  “Dear children! As I call you to prayer for those who have not come to know the love of God, if you were to look into your hearts you would comprehend that I am speaking about many of you. With an open heart, sincerely ask yourselves if you want the living God or do you want to eliminate Him and live as you want. Look around you, my children, and see where the world is going, the world that thinks of doing everything without the Father, and which wanders in the darkness of temptation. I am offering to you the light of the Truth and the Holy Spirit. According to God’s plan I am with you to help you to have my Son, His Cross and Resurrection, triumph in your hearts. As a mother, I desire and pray for your unity with my Son and His works. I am with you; you decide. Thank you.” Mother is clear, we each have to decide! Do we follow Jesus? Do we worship Him? Bless the Lord, O my soul!   February 5, 2025 St. Agatha Dear Family of Mary! Today, our Psalm for Holy Mass is taken from Psalm 103! It is a wonderful remembrance of the incredible goodness of the Lord!! His great love for us! Here it is: Psalm 103 (for Holy Mass, February 5, 2025) Response: The Lord’s kindness is everlasting to those who fear him. Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. R/ As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him, For he knows how we are formed;  he remembers that we are dust. R/ But the kindness of the Lord is from eternity to eternity toward those who fear him, And his justice toward children’s children among those who keep his covenant. R/ Amen, and amen!! The Lord our God loves us as a father. He looks after us as a gentle Father who provides for His children, and follows them throughout their life with His love and concern!! Our Lady gave us a message in which she shared the very same gratitude to God for His great love for each one of us. Here it is: October 25, 1995 “Dear Children! Today I invite you to go into nature because there you will meet God the Creator. Today I invite you, little children, to thank God for all that He gives you. In thanking Him you will discover the Most High and all the goods that surround you. Little children, God is great and His love for every creature is great. Therefore, pray to be able to understand the love and goodness of God. In the goodness and the love of God the Creator, I also am with you as a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We have been created by the only true God, who is only Good!! We have only to turn to Him with thanksgiving and trust, and He will take care of our future according to His wonderful love! And so we sing: Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits!!!! God bless you all today and always!!     February 4, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! This message below, is good to pray over on a regular basis, because Our Lady gives us her eternal perspective in it. She sees things from Heaven, and we do not. Life is short. And God has granted this time of grace so that we can change our lives today! Not tomorrow!! Let’s not wake up one day and find that Our Lady has gone!! No fear…just be honest with ourselves!!! August 25, 1997 “Dear children! God gives me this time as a gift to you, so that I may instruct and lead you on the path of salvation. Dear children, now you do not comprehend this grace, but soon a time will come when you will lament for these messages. That is why, little children, live all of the words which I have given you through this time of grace and renew prayer, until prayer becomes a joy for you. Especially, I call all those who have consecrated themselves to my Immaculate Heart to become an example to others. I call all priests and religious brothers and sisters to pray the rosary and to teach others to pray. The rosary, little children, is especially dear to me. The fruits will be love towards neighbor…   January 30, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Dear children, In this year of grace, I am calling you to conversion. Put God, dear children, in the center of your living and the fruits will be love towards neighbor and joy of witnessing; and the holiness of your life will become a true witness of faith. Thank you for having responded to my call. (January 25, 2025) When God is in the center of our living, the fruits of love and joy will abound! It is so true!! I have told this story already on the Rosary, but it still lingers in my heart with such warmth. So I will share it with all of you! Two days ago, I had signed up to bring dinner to a family near by. One of the children had been in the hospital, and so we were hoping to help them a little by bringing dinners. I brought dinner that night, but told the mom I was running to the store to get some bread for the meal, and I would be back soon. I ran to a nearby store and picked out some bread, but as I went by the flowers, I decided to get a bouquet for the sweet mom, just to cheer her up. When I went to the check out station, the young man started a little conversation. He asked me who the flowers were for, and I told him they were for my friend, whose child was sick, and that I was bring dinner tonight for them. When he gave me the total for my purchase, it was only the amount for the bread! I looked up at him, and he smiled and said, “The flowers are a gift from me for your friend.” I blushed, and thanked him from my heart. And when I asked him his name, he told me, “Emmanuel”!! I immediately replied, “God is with us!!” He smiled and said “yes”!! I cried on my way to deliver the flowers, and when I told my friend about the little miracle of love, she cried too! We were both overwhelmed with the love of God, expressed to us through that young man. Truly, when we put God in the center of our living, the fruits are love towards neighbor and the joy of witnessing!! I thank God for that wonderful young man, Emmanuel, and for my dear friend and her family, that together we could all experience love and joy in Jesus that night! God bless you all!!
