In my Son you will find rest..   July 18, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! The Gospel for today is one of the most comforting passages in Scripture. Let Jesus’ words sink deeply into your hearts: Jesus said: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (Mt 11:28-30) In this message from 2013, Our Lady calls us to set out after her Son, for she knows that He alone can give us peace and rest. Don’t we all need His rest? Don’t we all need His peace!! June 2, 2013 “Dear children, In this restless time, anew I am calling you to set out after my Son – to follow Him. I know of the pain, suffering and difficulties, but in my Son you will find rest; in Him you will find peace and salvation. My children, do not forget that my Son redeemed you by His Cross and enabled you, anew, to be children of God; to be able to, anew, call the Heavenly Father: ‘Father’. To be worthy of the Father, love and forgive, because your Father is love and forgiveness. Pray and fast, because that is the way to your purification, it is the way of coming to know and becoming cognizant of the Heavenly Father. When you become cognizant of the Father, you will comprehend that He is all you need. I, as a mother, desire my children to be in a community of one single people where the Word of God is listened to and carried out.* Therefore, my children, set out after my Son. Be one with Him. Be God’s children. Love your shepherds as my Son loved them when He called them to serve you. Thank you.” *Our Lady said this resolutely and with emphasis. Our Lady always leads us to Jesus. Offer all your joys and sorrows to my Immaculate Heart   July 17, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Denis and I try to go to weekly confession, on Saturday after morning mass. So many graces come our way at those confessions. And I want to share a little of the fruit of my confession recently. My confessor rightly discerned that I was beating myself up about my past sins. And he said something astonishing to me: “I want you to take all these negative memories and offer them to the Sorrowful Heart of Mary. Unite your heart with Her Heart and sorrow with Her over these things….” He didn’t psychologize about it, or try to get rid of my past. He wanted me to behold all those things and offer them to Our Lady, so that together She and I could sorrow over them before the Lord. I learned that self-hatred or despondency gets me nowhere. The Sorrowful Heart of Mary brings healing, light, hope and peace. Her Sorrow lifts it all to Jesus, who offers it to the Father. And the miracle of forgiveness and hope can settle in my heart. Here is a message Our Lady gave in which She shows us the process: September 25, 2009   “Dear children, with joy, persistently work on your conversion. Offer all your joys and sorrows to my Immaculate Heart that I may lead you all to my most beloved Son, so that you may find joy in His Heart. I am with you to instruct you and to lead you towards eternity… Thank you for having responded to my call.” I need to pray with this message every day, because every day there are new sorrows to be given to Our Lady. In the love for my Immaculate Heart…   July 16, 2024 Our Lady of Mount Carmel Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady calls us to live lives of grace, lives that reflect the love of God, so that those around us will begin to understand how much God loves each one of us. This may sound simplistic, but it is not. All the fancy “isms” of our time have failed to increase love. They have failed to bring us into the truth. Let’s listen to Our Mother’s words and try again to understand them and live them. She brings us great peace and light: May 25, 2010  “Dear children! God gave you the grace to live and to defend all the good that is in you and around you, and to inspire others to be better and holier; but satan, too, does not sleep and through modernism diverts you and leads you to his way. Therefore, little children, in the love for my Immaculate Heart, love God above everything and live His commandments. In this way, your life will have meaning and peace will rule on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Thank you, dearest Mother, for having come to us in these days! You give us all we need to find the Peace that only God can provide. The Victory of My Immaculate Heart   July 15, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! I want to share with you a few thoughts I shared at the end of the Rosary for Sunday, July 14, 2024. We are all wondering about the events of this weekend. In the USA, we have had an assassination attempt on one of our Presidential candidates. Innocent people were killed or injured in the attempt. It has left our nation in an uproar. My thoughts have to do with Our Lady and her presence in Medjugorje, and her relationship to these events. Here is what I said: We are in this Marian time…it just is…John Paul II said it was, I think. It is just clear from Fatima onwards that something was up! God was doing something, in the midst of chaos – with two World Wars, in the midst of several other wars that have continued on – governments sliding into totalitarianism! It is as if the world is this giant mountain that is just crumbling! It is hard to watch. It is sad. Especially when you think of the amount of carnage… all those aborted children. We could stop right there. It is the worst thing ever. So we do live in a very difficult time. A very, very difficult time for humanity. It is also unparalleled. You know, we have all these kinds of media…the different ways we can communicate through the internet, which changes the whole social structure of things. It gives us information we don’t want, and gives our information out that we don’t want to give. I just had an experience of someone who was hacked, and the perpetrator was sending out cries for help, in the name of my friend. Asking for money…There are so many faceless perpetrators whose identity you won’t ever know. It is a very difficult time. And in this difficult time, Our Lady came…in 1981. And she said that she came as the Queen of Peace. And she came to 6 very lovely but young Croatian children. And those children have been so strong. Their whole lives have been spent serving Our Lady, truly! Just being the six witnesses to her presence. And that is enough, because we have no idea how much their lives are intruded on because of their witness. And they have been very generous, all six of them. So we have all lived in this time when Our Lady has been with us on a daily basis, which is unheard of. Most of the previous visionaries had apparitions once a month, or for a few days. The daily apparitions in Medjugorje were criticized as being too much. They said that Our Lady would not come every day like that. But she has! Now I think we see why… because of the enormity of the problems in our time. We need her every day, and she wants to be with us every day. So here is her message from 2000: August 25, 2000 “Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you.” Joy! She always brings her heavenly joy to us! “In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting.” What does this mean? The victory of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart. The victory of her pure, spotless, Immaculate Heart. What does this mean? Her response to God was perfect. Always perfect! And this perfect response was how God could give us His Son. His Son, Her Son would be Man and God, which was unheard of. Outrageous almost! This idea that God had!! That He would have His Son become Man for ever!! It wasn’t so that He could just move around on earth for a little while, it was forever! He is always Man and God in Heaven!! And this changed everything for us! It changed our whole trajectory. Jesus opened the way for all of us to go to Heaven, to be with Him and with the Father, in our bodies, all of us! And this is what He wanted to give us. But do you think we have been able to accept it? No, there has been a giant fight ever since. Between those who accept the Lord’s gift of His love, His life, His salvation, and those who hate it! And the fight has been horrible and it continues. And I feel that these days are the climax of it all. So she needs us to carry that victory. That victory comes through each one of us. We win by staying faithful to God and sharing that faithfulness with others. We win with her!! We will win. That is the victory! “I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit.” Ok, we win. But how do we do it? Through the power of the Holy Spirit. And why? Because the Holy Spirit can work through us. I see that my son, Michael, has chosen that path. Everywhere he goes he is ready to pray with someone. He is constantly in prayer, receiving from the Holy Spirit. And miracles happen all around him. He is getting worn out. He really is. But he is standing firm and going forward. It has been at a great cost for his family and his wife. But he doesn’t stop, and does what the Holy Spirit asks. We all need to work even more by the power of the Holy Spirit, for God. Each one of us has something to do. That is what God is calling us to now. Even more now that things are heating ups. And they are really heating up! Don’t take your eyes off the prize. Don’t take your eyes off of Our Lady! “I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Let’s take that blessing and walk into the world, as witnesses of Jesus Christ. In what ever way we can do it, in what ever way we are called to do it. We must do it! Thank you for helping us at Mary TV to be a little channel for her! Pray for us, we are trying our best. We do need your help! And we love having you with us in prayer. Thank you! …my children are being persecuted   July 12, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! As I prayed about this reflection, I heard the word “persecution”. It is not a word I like to think about. But I felt Our Lady gently urging me pray about it. I first went to the Gospel for today, and found that it was all about persecution. Jesus did not hide anything from his disciples. They and we all must be ready for persecution! “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Beware of men; for they will deliver you up to councils, and flog you in their synagogues, and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony before them and the Gentiles. When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death; and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel, before the Son of man comes.” (Matthew 10:16-23, RSV-CE) I must admit I can hardly read this scripture, it frightens me so much. Jesus describes the great suffering that His disciples would experience as they carried the Good News of Christ into the world. So much suffering! But also such great opportunities to share the Gospel. And as we see, these words of Jesus have proven true from one generation to the next down to our day! Here is a message from Our Lady in which she talks about persecution as well: December 2, 2016 “Dear children, my motherly heart is crying as I am looking at what my children are doing. Sins are multiplying, the purity of soul is all the less important; my Son is being forgotten – honored all the less; and my children are being persecuted. That is why, you my children, apostles of my love, with soul and heart invoke the name of my Son. He will have the words of light for you. He manifests Himself to you, He breaks the bread with you and gives you the words of love so that you may transform them into merciful acts and, thus, be witnesses of truth. That is why, my children, do not be afraid. Permit my Son to be in you. He will make use of you to care for the wounded and to convert lost souls. Therefore, my children, return to the prayer of the Rosary. Pray it with feelings of goodness, sacrifice and mercy. Pray, not only with words, but with merciful acts… Pray with love for all people. My Son, by His sacrifice, exalted love. Therefore, live with Him so that you may have strength and hope; that you may have the love which is life and which leads to eternal life. Through God’s love, I am also with you, and will lead you with motherly love. Thank you..” (Mirjana said that Our Lady was very sad.) Mother Mary shows us the way to live with hope and love in our day, even though persecutions are growing, and suffering is close by. Let’s really take her words to heart. As a mother, I desire to be of help to you!   July 11, 2024 St. Benedict Dear Family of Mary! In this message we can hear the cry of our Mother’s heart. She tells us her desires! And they are all focused on our welfare. The desires of her heart are for our wellbeing. May we cooperate with Our Lady in all her desires. May it be so, may it be so!! March 18, 2014 “Dear children! As a mother, I desire to be of help to you. With my motherly love, I desire to help you to open your heart and to put my Son in the first place in it. Through your love for my Son and through your prayer, I desire for God’s light to illuminate you and God’s mercy to fill you. In this way, I desire for the darkness, and the shadow of death which wants to encompass and mislead you, to be driven away. I desire for you to feel the joy of the blessing of God’s promise. You, children of man, you are God’s children – you are my children. Therefore, my children, set out on the ways on which my love leads you, teaches you humility and wisdom, and finds the way to the Heavenly Father. Pray with me for those who do not accept me and do not follow me – those who, because of hardness of their hearts, cannot feel the joy of humility, devotion, peace and love- the joy of my Son. A Rosary Challenge   July 10, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Today we have a Rosary challenge. Here are five messages from Our Lady in which she tells us she is with us. Let’s read a message before each decade of the Rosary today, and let Our Lady’s words fill us with God’s peace and blessing! It is simple, just let Her words wrap our hearts with peace!! May 25, 1994 “Dear children! I invite you all to have more trust in me and to live my messages more deeply. I am with you and I intercede before God for you but also I wait for your hearts to open up to my messages. Rejoice because God loves you and gives you the possibility to convert every day and to believe more in God the Creator. Thank you having responded to my call.” October 25, 1994 “Dear children! I am with you and I rejoice today because the Most High has granted me to be with you and to teach you and to guide you on the path of perfection. Little children, I wish you to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers which I wish to present to God for the day of All Saints. I invite you to open yourselves and to live, taking the saints as an example. Mother Church has chosen them, that they may be an impulse for your daily life. Thank you for having responded to my call!” November 25, 1994 “Dear children! Today I call you to prayer. I am with you and I love you all. I am your Mother and I wish that your hearts be similar to my heart. Little children, without prayer you cannot live and say that you are mine. Prayer is joy. Prayer is what the human heart desires. Therefore, get closer, little children, to my Immaculate Heart and you will discover God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 1995 “Dear children! I invite you to open the door of your heart to Jesus as the flower opens itself to the sun. Jesus desires to fill your hearts with peace and joy. You cannot, little children, realize peace if you are not at peace with Jesus. Therefore, I invite you to confession so Jesus may be your truth and peace. So, little children, pray to have the strength to realize what I am telling you. I am with your and I love you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 25, 1995 “Dear children! Today I invite you to prayer. Let prayer be life for you. A family cannot say that it is in peace if it does not pray. Therefore, let your morning begin with morning prayer, and the evening end with thanksgiving. Little children, I am with you, and I love you and I bless you and I wish for every one of you to be in my embrace. You cannot be in my embrace if you are not ready to pray every day. Pray therefore the Lord of the Harvest…   July 9, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! In our Gospel for today, we see Jesus traveling from town to town, spreading the Kingdom and healing His people. It was His hallmark: to preach and heal and call all people into His Kingdom:” And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:35-38, RSV-CE) Doesn’t this sound like our world today? So many people harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd? And thanks be to God, Our Lady is answering the call Jesus gave in the Gospel “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”(Mt 9:38) She is gathering her children around her and sending us out to harvest. But she acknowledges that our enemy is also at work, harvesting: July 25, 2020 “Dear children! In this peaceless time in which the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself, I am calling you to persevering prayer, so that in prayer you discover the God of love and hope. Little children, take the Cross in your hands. May it be your encouragement for love to always win, in a special way now when the Cross and faith are rejected. You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son, Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady sees that the devil is doing the harvesting of souls in our day, in an extraordinary way. And so she calls us to become like her Son, Jesus, and harvest souls for God! She wants us to “be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible!” We can harvest souls for the Lord, by our lives that reflect His love and give an example of how to live faith and hope. We must try to harvest souls, through our goodness and example. Mother Mary is with us and prays for us to be steadfast in this call. What a glorious call it is! My children, be ready!   July 8, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! In the Gospel for today, Matthew 9:18-26, Jesus raises a little girl from death. He was mocked for even trying to help her by the people who had gathered. But He paid no attention to them, and after they were put out of the house, he took the little girl by the hand and raised her from death to life. We are being called to prayer and to the works of love that Jesus did, in our time. It is a matter of love, not of power! Jesus will help us to bring faith and healing and love to those we meet. It only takes our “yes” to His call. Mother Mary would have us do these works. Here is a message she gave us in 2017, encouraging us to pray and love in our day: June 2, 2017 “Dear children, as in the other places where I have come to you, also here I am calling you to prayer. Pray for those who do not know my Son, for those who have not come to know the love of God, against sin, for the consecrated- for those whom my Son called to have love and the spirit of strength for you, for the Church. Pray to my Son, and the love which you experience from His nearness will give you the strength to make you ready for the works of love, which you will do in His name. My children, be ready. This time is a turning point. That is why I am calling you anew to faith and hope. I am showing you the way by which you need to go, and those are the words of the Gospel. Apostles of my love, the world is in such need of your arms raised towards Heaven, towards my Son, towards the Heavenly Father. Much humility and purity of heart are needed. Have trust in my Son and know that you can always be better. My motherly heart desires for you, apostles of my love, to be little lights of the world, to illuminate there where darkness wants to begin to reign, to show the true way by your prayer and love, to save souls. I am with you. Thank you.” May we pray as Mother asks. May we believe as she recommends. May we love as she calls us to love. I love you with the immeasurable love of Jesus.   July 4, 2024 Dear Family of Mary! Here is your homework for the weekend. Let’s take time to pray with this message, pondering each phrase, until it’s full meaning is opened to us. Our Lady would love to help us! She wants us to comprehend the immeasurable love which gave itself for each one of us!! November 25, 1991 “Dear Children! This time also I am inviting you to prayer. Pray that you might be able to comprehend what God desires to tell you through my presence and through the messages I am giving you. I desire to draw you ever closer to Jesus and to His wounded heart that you might be able to comprehend the immeasurable love which gave itself for each one of you. Therefore, dear children, pray, that from your heart would flow a fountain of love to every person both to the one who hates you and to the one who despises you. That way you will be able through Jesus’ love to overcome all the misery in this world of sorrows, which is without hope for those who do not know Jesus. I am with you and I love you with the immeasurable love of Jesus. Thank you for all your sacrifices and prayers. Pray so I might be able to help you still more. Your prayers are necessary to me.
