November 15, 2023 Reflection – Be carriers of the peace and joy of the Risen Jesus!

Be carriers of the peace and joy of the Risen Jesus!   November 15, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! April 25, 2023 “Dear children! I am calling all of you to be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus for all those who are far from prayer; that the love of Jesus, through your lives, may transform them to a new life of conversion and holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In the storms of our present time, – cultural storms, political storms, intellectual storms, religious storms, and familial storms- we must be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus. We must be like Jesus, who stood up in the boat being tossed by the waves and the wind, and commanded the storm to cease. We must carry Jesus into the storms of our time, and simply make Him present to all those being inundated by the lies and sins that abound. Only Jesus can stop the storms of hatred, fear, lies and violence that plague the people of our day. Only Jesus can quell the storms of disbelief. May we carry Him in our hearts, in our minds, in our actions and in our words, to all those in need of Him, that they may be transformed by Jesus into holiness. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! November 13, 2023 Reflection – Keep looking at my Son…

Keep looking at my Son…   November 13, 2023 St. Francis Zavier Cabrini Dear Family of Mary! February 25, 2023  “Dear children! Keep converting and clothe yourselves in penitential garments and in personal, deep prayer; and in humility, seek peace from the Most High. In this time of grace, Satan wants to seduce you; but you, little children, keep looking at my Son and follow Him towards Calvary in renunciation and fasting. I am with you because the Most High permits me to love you and lead you towards the joy of the heart, in faith which grows for all those who love God above all. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

November 10, 2023 Reflection – You, little children, are my hope

You, little children, are my hope… November 10, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! We continue our review of the messages from Our Lady over the past year. In this message for January, Our Lady makes a heartfelt plea to her children (that’s you and me) to pray, fast, do penance and pray for peace. I have never heard her speak so clearly and urgently about the state of mankind. But this is indeed the situation today. Today is the Feast of St. Leo the Great! When St. Leo was working for the Pope in Rome, Atilla the Hun advanced against Rome to destroy it. The Empire was very weak and Atilla had taken over the whole world. His last stroke was to be Rome. But St. Leo was sent to ‘negotiate’ with Atilla. No army behind him, only two escorts with him, St. Leo approached Atilla and asked for a meeting. Atilla and Leo spoke together, and as a result, Atilla packed up his vast army departed, leaving Rome intact! No one knows what was said at that meeting, but it changed the history of the world! Our Lady is looking to us to be like those two escorts who accompanied St. Leo to the meeting with Atilla. With nothing but our hearts and our prayer and fasting, we need to support Our Lady as she confronts our enemy and defeats him. She needs us! We are her hope! January 25, 2023 “Dear children! Pray with me for peace, because Satan wants war and hatred in hearts and peoples. Therefore, pray and sacrifice your days by fasting and penance, that God may give you peace. The future is at a crossroads, because modern man does not want God. That is why mankind is heading to perdition. You, little children, are my hope. Pray with me, that what I began in Fatima and here may be realized. Be prayer and witness peace in your surroundings, and be people of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

November 9, 2023 Reflection – I am carrying my Son, Jesus, to you…

I am carrying my Son, Jesus, to you…   November 9, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! We continue our review of the messages from Our Lady over the past year. Our Lady’s call in this message is both a blessing and an urgent call to us. Please pray over this message all day today, letting it sink deeply into your hearts! December 25, 2022  “Dear children! Today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, that you may be His peace and a reflection of [the] clarity and joy of Heaven. Pray, little children, to be open to receive peace because many hearts are closed to the call of the light, which changes hearts. I am with you and am praying for you to open yourselves to receive the King of peace, Who fills your hearts with warmth and blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

November 8, 2023 Message – Prayer opens hearts and gives hope…

Prayer opens hearts and gives hope…   November 8, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! As we approach the end of the Liturgical Year, I feel it would be good to review the messages we have received from Our Lady over the past year, from November of 2022 to October of 2023. In this way we will prepare for the last message we will receive in this year, November 25, 2023. I feel that these 12 messages are very important in understanding what God is saying to us and what Our Lady is with us to accomplish. Please take each message and pray over it. I do reflections on each weekday. So if we start today, we will end on November 23. Then on November 24 we will give thanks for Our Lady’s messages and wait for the message on November 25. Our message for today: November 25, 2022  “Dear children! The Most High has sent me to you to teach you prayer. Prayer opens hearts and gives hope, and faith is born and strengthened. Little children, with love I am calling you: return to God, because God is love and your hope. You do not have a future if you do not decide for God; and that is why I am with you to guide you to decide for conversion and life, and not for death. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

November 7, 2023 Reflection – Like a child which is open to the love of the Father!

Like a child which is open to the love of the Father…   November 7, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! The Psalm for today is Psalm 131. It is my favorite psalm. It is very short and very sweet. It conveys the humility and sweetness of children. Here it is: Psalm 131 O Lord, my heart is not proud, nor are my eyes haughty; I busy not myself with great things, nor with things too sublime for me. Nay rather, I have stilled and quieted my soul like a weaned child. Like a weaned child on its mother’s lap, so is my soul within me. O Israel, hope in the Lord, both now and forever. Like the Psalmist, Our Lady also calls us to be children. She constantly calls to us, “Dear children!” And she addressed us as “little children” and often as “My dear little children.” We are children to her. And in truth, we are children to the Father as well. It is important in our big important lives, to recall this fact often. Here is a message which explains it very well: July 25, 1996  “Dear children! Today I invite you to decide every day for God. Little children, you speak much about God, but you witness little with your life. Therefore, little children, decide for conversion, that your life may be true before God, so that in the truth of your life you witness the beauty God gave you. Little children, I invite you again to decide for prayer because through prayer, you will be able to live the conversion. Each one of you shall become in the simplicity, similar to a child which is open to the love of the Father. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we become “in the simplicity, similar to a child which is open to the love of the Father!” Like the Psalmist so aptly understood, may we be “Like a weaned child on its mother’s lap!” Yes, Mother Mary we long to be on your lap, safe and secure as little children need to be! November 6, 2023 Reflection – Come, I desire all of you…

Come, I desire all of you…   November 6, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Today, as I pray I feel a strong call to gaze upon and celebrate Our Lady. She is our hope in these days. We need her. And she needs us. She told us in 1984: Saturday, February 25, 1984: “Know that I love all of you. Know that you are all mine. To no one do I desire to give more than to you. Come to me all of you. Stay with me. I want to be your Mother. Come, I desire all of you.” Let these words from Our Lady penetrate your hearts! They are life-changing. Our Lady longs for us, loves us with her powerful maternal heart! She desires us to be with her, to be close to her. She needs us!!! We are being called by Mother Mary to help her in these very pivotal days. She needs us. We must respond with all our hearts. But I also think we need to know who She is! Who is this amazing woman, the Mother of God? How can we fathom her greatness? By reading this: This excerpt from a sermon of St. Anselm (Oratio 52; PL 158, 955-956) is used in the Roman Office of Readings for the Solemnity (Solemn Feast) of the Immaculate Conception on December 8. It proclaims so eloquently the exquisite grace that is Mary! She is Mother of God! She is the Immaculate Conception! She is the Door through which our Savior entered the world. She is also the Mother of Mercy, for she is the Mother of our Redeemer: St. Anselm wrote: Blessed Lady, sky and stars, earth and rivers, day and night – everything that is subject to the power or use of man – rejoice that through you they are in some sense restored to their lost beauty and are endowed with inexpressible new grace. All creatures were dead, as it were, useless for men or for the praise of God, who made them. The world, contrary to its true destiny, was corrupted and tainted by the acts of men who served idols. Now all creation has been restored to life and rejoices that it is controlled and given splendor by men who believe in God. The universe rejoices with new and indefinable loveliness. Not only does it feel the unseen presence of God himself, its Creator, it sees him openly, working and making it holy. These great blessings spring from the blessed fruit of Mary’s womb. Through the fullness of the grace that was given you, dead things rejoice in their freedom, and those in heaven are glad to be made new. Through the Son who was the glorious fruit of your virgin womb, just souls who died before his life-giving death rejoice as they are freed from captivity, and the angels are glad at the restoration of their shattered domain. Lady, full and overflowing with grace, all creation receives new life from your abundance. Virgin, blessed above all creatures, through your blessing all creation is blessed, not only creation from its Creator, but the Creator himself has been blessed by creation. To Mary God gave his only-begotten Son, whom he loved as himself. Through Mary God made himself a Son, not different but the same, by nature Son of God and Son of Mary. The whole universe was created by God, and God was born of Mary. God created all things, and Mary gave birth to God. The God who made all things gave himself form through Mary, and thus he made his own creation. He who could create all things from nothing would not remake his ruined creation without Mary. God, then, is the Father of the created world and Mary the mother of the re-created world. God is the Father by whom all things were given life, and Mary the mother through whom all things were given new life. For God begot the Son, through whom all things were made, and Mary gave birth to him as the Savior of the world. Without God’s Son, nothing could exist; without Mary’s Son, nothing could be redeemed. Truly the Lord is with you, to whom the Lord granted that all nature should owe as much to you as to himself. (St. Anselm, (Oratio 52; PL 158, 955-956). Now listen again to the words Our Lady spoke to us in 1984: Saturday, February 25, 1984: “Know that I love all of you. Know that you are all mine. To no one do I desire to give more than to you. Come to me all of you. Stay with me. I want to be your Mother. Come, I desire all of you.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

November 3, 2023 Reflection – Peace is the gift of God!

Peace is the gift of God November 3, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! I leave you this weekend with this message from Our Lady. May her words guide us into the peace of God which is fundamental to our entire life with God. It is peace that enables us to live all the beatitudes and the commandments of God. When we have God’s peace, we have the heart to say yes to what ever God asks of us and to be sources of light for others. June 25, 1997  “Dear children! Today I am with you in a special way and I bring you my motherly blessing of peace. I pray for you and I intercede for you before God, so that you may comprehend that each of you is a carrier of peace. You cannot have peace if your heart is not at peace with God. That is why, little children, pray, pray, pray, because prayer is the foundation of your peace. Open your heart and give time to God so that He will be your friend. When true friendship with God is realized, no storm can destroy it. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

November 2, 2023 Reflection- All Souls Day

All Soul’s Day   November 2, 2023 All Souls Day!! Dear Family of Mary! Today we dedicate our prayers for the release of the souls in Purgatory.  Our Lady made it very clear to us, early in the apparitions, that the souls need our prayers daily!  Here is her instruction: November 6, 1986 “Dear children! Today I wish to call you to pray daily for souls in purgatory. For every soul prayer and grace is necessary to reach God and the love of God. By doing this, dear children, you obtain new intercessors who will help you in life to realize that all the earthly things are not important for you, that only Heaven is that for which it is necessary to strive. Therefore, dear children, pray without ceasing that you may be able to help yourselves and the others to whom your prayers will bring joy. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We have the opportunity to help many souls to reach God and the love of God!!!  Let’s pray today for the souls, and then make it a daily prayer that we pray out of our hearts in generous love for them!! Below is one suggestion of a prayer we can pray.  Also, we can pray the 7-7-7 that the parish prays after the evening rosary.  This prayer was suggested by Our Lady to be prayed every day for our beloved dead. The Litany Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory O Jesus, You suffered and died that all mankind might be saved and brought to eternal happiness. Hear our pleas for further mercy on the souls of: Response: Jesus, have mercy! My dear parents, grandparents and spouse, My brothers and sisters and other near relatives, My Godparents and sponsor of Confirmation, My spiritual and temporal benefactors, My friends and neighbors, All for whom love or duty calls me to pray, Those who have suffered disadvantages or harm through me, Those who are especially beloved by You, Those whose release is near at hand, Those who desire most to be united with You, Those who endure the greatest sufferings, Those who are least remembered, Those whose release is most remote, Those who are most deserving on account of their services to the Church, The rich, who now are the most destitute, The mighty, who now are powerless, The once spiritually blind, who now see their folly, The frivolous, who spent their time in idleness, The poor who did not seek the treasures of heaven, The tepid, who devoted little time to prayer, The indolent, who neglected to perform good works, Those of little faith, who neglected the frequent reception of the Sacraments, The habitual sinners, who owe their salvation to a miracle of grace, Parents who failed to watch over their children, Superiors who were not solicitous for the salvation of those entrusted to them, Those who strove for worldly riches and pleasures, The worldly-minded, who failed to use their wealth and talents in the service of God, Those who witnessed the death of others, but would not think of their own, Those who did not provide for the life hereafter, Those whose sentence is severe because of the great things entrusted to them, The Popes, kings and rulers, The Bishops and their counselors, The Priests and Religious of the Catholic Church, My teachers and spiritual advisers, The defenders of the holy faith, Those who died on the battlefield, Those who fought for their country, Those who were buried in the sea, Those who died of apoplexy, Those who died of heart attacks, Those who suffered and died of cancer or AIDS, Those who died suddenly in accidents, Those who died without the Last Rites of the Church, Those who shall die within the next twenty-four hours, My own poor soul when I shall have to appear before your judgment seat, Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them with your Saints forever more because You are gracious. Let us pray: May the prayer of Your suppliant people, we beseech You, O Lord, benefit the souls of Your departed servants and handmaids, that You both deliver them from all their sins and make them partakers of Your redemption. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023
