May 10, 2023 Reflection – I am the vine, you are the branches….

I am the vine, you are the branches… May 10, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Our Gospel for today speaks of the way in which we must stay attached to Jesus, as our source of life, just as the branches of a grape plant must stay attached to the vine. All life courses through the vine into the branches. We need Jesus for life! That is why Our Lady has come. To reattach us to the vine, her Son. She wants us to live and grow in Jesus. Jesus said to his disciples: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.” (John 15:1-8) I thought it would be good to pray the Jesus Rosary, a prayer that Our Lady gave the prayer group in the early days. It is a prayer that can help us to attach to the vine, Jesus! The Jesus Rosary (Given by Our Lady to Jelena) Pray the Creed 1. Mystery: Contemplate the birth of Jesus. Intention: pray for peace. Five Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. 2. Mystery: Contemplate how Jesus helped and gave all to the poor. Intention: Let us pray for the Holy Father and for the Bishops. Five Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. 3. Mystery: Contemplate how Jesus trusted in his Father completely and carried out His will. Intention: pray for priests and for all those who serve God in a particular way Five Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. 4. Mystery: Contemplate how Jesus knew he had to give up his life for us and He did so without regrets because He loved us. Intention: pray for families. Five Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. 5. Mystery: Contemplate how Jesus made his life into a sacrifice for us Intention: Pray so that we, too, may be capable of offering our life for our neighbor. Five Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. 6. Mystery: Contemplate the victory of Jesus over satan. He is risen. Intention: let us pray that all sins may be eliminated so that Jesus may relive in our hearts. Five Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. 7. Mystery: Contemplate the ascension of Jesus into Heaven. Intention: let us pray that the will of God may triumph, so that his will may be done. Three Our Father’s Exclamation: O Jesus, be our strength and our help. After this, contemplate how Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit. Intention: pray so that the Holy Spirit may descend upon us. May 8, 2023 Reflection – The Holy Spirit…will teach you everything…

The Holy Spirit will teach you everything May 8, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! I am sorry to constantly be focusing on the Gospel readings for Holy Mass each day, but I can’t stop!! Jesus speaks to His disciples in such a comforting and powerful way about their life, about how they will live the days ahead, about how He will be able to guide them no matter what happens! Jesus is preparing them for His Ascension into Heaven, when He will no longer be with them bodily. He wants them to understand that they will not be left alone. But this was not something they would understand, until the Holy Spirit fell upon them at Pentecost. Only then would it all make sense!! He tells them today: Jesus said to his disciples: “Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. Whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.” Judas, not the Iscariot, said to him, “Master, then what happened that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me. “I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name—he will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”  (John 14:21-26) Jesus’ words were vague because what He was describing was outside of the Apostles experience. The love of the Father, the love of the Son, the indwelling of the Father and Son in them, this was all beyond them. So Jesus simply told them they would have to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit would teach them everything they needed to know!! Our Lady has also called us to seek the gift of the Holy Spirit, because we too cannot understand everything she tells us. She knows the Holy Spirit intimately. She was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit at the Annunciation, and she helped and guided the Apostles to receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. She will help us as well: November 2, 2007 “Dear children, Today I call you to open your hearts to the Holy Spirit and permit Him to transform you. My children, God is the immeasurable good and therefore, as a mother, I implore you: Pray, pray, pray, fast and hope that it is possible to achieve good, because from that good love is born. The Holy Spirit will strengthen that love in you and you will be able to call God your Father. Through this exalted love, you will truly come to love all people and, through God, you will regard them as brothers and sisters. Thank you.” We have a call, just like the Apostles had a call. It is the way of love, the way of truth, the way of the good. And the Holy Spirit alone, can teach us our personal way of love. He will show us in our particular circumstances how to live the good, to live God’s love. We need the Holy Spirit, every day, every moment! Pray, pray, pray, fast and hope to achieve the good!! This is the way!! Mother, please pray for us to receive the Holy Spirit! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

May 5, 2023 Reflection – I am going to prepare a place for you…

I am going to prepare a place for you…   May 5, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus speaks such gentle and fatherly words to the disciples in this passage from the Gospel of John. I feel like reading it over and over today and letting His love and assurance wash over me. Listen to how Jesus comforts the disciples, especially Thomas. It seems that Thomas was always a bit timid and in need of Jesus’ personal care. Maybe we are a bit timid too. We need Jesus’ personal care too!! John 14:1-6 Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. Where I am going you know the way.” Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Such comforting words! Jesus speaks them to us today as well. Let’s allow His words to sink deeply into our hearts. Our Lady has spoken in a similar way to us in Medjugorje. Here is one message: May 25, 2018 “Dear children! In this peaceless time, I am calling you to have more trust in God who is your Father in Heaven and who has sent me to lead you to Him. You, open your hearts to the gifts which He desires to give you and, in the silence of your heart, Adore my Son Jesus who has given His life so that you may live in eternity – where He desires to lead you. May your hope be the joy of a meeting with the Most High in everyday life. Therefore, I am calling you: do not neglect prayer because prayer works miracles. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We have been given the sweet comfort of our Mother, Mary. She too has come to lead us to the Father in Heaven, through her Son, Jesus. She is with us to accompany us into Heaven! We are not alone. All is well with us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

May 4, 2023 Reflection – Every Thursday read Matthew 6: 24-34

Every Thursday, read Matthew 6:24-34!   May 4, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady tells us: Thursday, March 1, 1984 – Message to Jelena: “Each Thursday, read again the passage of Matthew 6:24-34, before the most Blessed Sacrament, or if it is not possible to come to church, do it with your family.” May we keep this Scripture always in our hearts!! Matthew 6: 24-34 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day. (Matthew 6:24-34) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

May 3, 2023 Reflection – “I am the way, the truth, and the life!”

I am the way, the truth and the life!   May 3, 2023 “Jesus said to Thomas “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) We have heard these words from Jesus many times. But I never stop marveling at how important they are. We live our lives on earth, trying to survive. We must travel through time, moving from childhood to young adulthood, then into adulthood with all the complexities that go with it. We are on a way. But, we don’t always understand the goal of this way. It is only as we become aware of death, that the way takes on meaning. We then seek truth to come to understand this reality of death. What does this way we are on lead us to? Afterlife? Heaven? Nothing? Hell? We need the truth which can give meaning and light to the way we are on. We begin to discover that the truth of it is that we are on our way to our death, but that death just can’t be the end. Every fiber of our being tells us we can’t die. And that is when Jesus is revealed to us as the “LIFE”! Jesus leads us on the way, with the truth, to Eternal Life!!! And even better, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life!! Our Lady gave us this message: June 25, 2020 “Dear children! I am listening to your cries and prayers, and am interceding for you before my Son Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Return, little children, to prayer and open your hearts in this time of grace and set out on the way of conversion. Your life is passing and, without God, does not have meaning. This is why I am with you to lead you towards holiness of life, so that each of you may discover the joy of living. I love you all, little children, and am blessing you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our lives do not have meaning without God. Jesus embodies all that we need to know to find meaning in our lives. Once we find Him we find joy!! May we follow our Mother’s advice, returning to prayer and seeking grace in these days, so that we will find our Way, Truth and Life…Jesus! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

May 2, 2023 Reflection – “He firmly holds you by the hand…”

He firmly holds you by the hand! May 2, 2023 “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.” (John 10: 28-30) These words of Jesus give us such deep peace. How can we fear anything? We are in the hands of Jesus and His Father. We are loved, so deeply loved by God that our hearts should rest in total trust in the presence of the Lord. Jakov Colo received a beautiful message from Our Lady, in which she speaks about being in the hands of Jesus: December 25, 2020 (Jakov) “Dear children, also today Jesus is here beside you, even when you think that you are alone and that light does not exist in your life. He is here and has never left you or distanced Himself from you. The light of His birth illuminates this world and your life. His Heart is always open towards you, to receive your every pain, every trial, fear and need. His arms are extended towards you, that as a father, He may embrace you and tell you how important you are for Him, how much He loves you and cares for His children. Children, is your heart open towards Jesus? Have you completely surrendered your life into His hands? Have you accepted Jesus as your father, to whom you can always turn and in Him find consolation and everything you need to live true faith? That is why, my children, surrender your hearts to Jesus and permit Him to begin to rule your lives, because only in this way, will you accept the present and be able to face the world in which you live today. With Jesus, every fear, suffering and pain disappear, because your heart accepts His will and everything that comes into your life. Jesus will give you the faith to accept everything and nothing will distance you from Him — because He firmly holds you by the hand and does not permit for you to distance and lose yourselves in difficult moments — because He has become the Lord of your life. I bless you with my motherly blessing.” Let’s take Our Lord’s words and Our Mother’s words deeply to heart today. We are so loved!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

May 1, 2023 Reflection – A new life of conversion and holiness!

A new life of conversion and holiness   May 1, 2023 St. Joseph the Worker Dear Family of Mary! St. Joseph! Pray for us!!! First, let’s again prayerfully read the message of April 25, 2023: “Dear children! I am calling all of you to be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus for all those who are far from prayer; that the love of Jesus, through your lives, may transform them to a new life of conversion and holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady calls us to be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus! She wants us to take Jesus in our hearts out to all those who do not know him: “That the love of Jesus, through your lives, may transform them (the people who are far from prayer) to a new life of conversion and holiness.” This is a call to be bold and evangelize! We live in challenging times. Many people in our lives today do not believe in Christ, or do not even know about Him. It is not much different than the times of the first Apostles. Listen to how the Lord sent Peter out to transform those who were far from prayer in his day: “The Apostles and the brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles too had accepted the word of God. So when Peter went up to Jerusalem the circumcised believers confronted him, saying, “You entered the house of uncircumcised people and ate with them.” Peter began and explained it to them step by step, saying, “I was at prayer in the city of Joppa when in a trance I had a vision, something resembling a large sheet coming down, lowered from the sky by its four corners, and it came to me. Looking intently into it, I observed and saw the four-legged animals of the earth, the wild beasts, the reptiles, and the birds of the sky. I also heard a voice say to me, ‘Get up, Peter. Slaughter and eat.’ But I said, ‘Certainly not, sir, because nothing profane or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’ But a second time a voice from heaven answered, ‘What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.’ This happened three times, and then everything was drawn up again into the sky. Just then three men appeared at the house where we were, who had been sent to me from Caesarea. The Spirit told me to accompany them without discriminating. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house. He related to us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, saying, ‘Send someone to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter, who will speak words to you by which you and all your household will be saved.’ As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them as it had upon us at the beginning, and I remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said, ‘John baptized with water but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ If then God gave them the same gift he gave to us when we came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to be able to hinder God?” When they heard this, they stopped objecting and glorified God, saying, “God has then granted life-giving repentance to the Gentiles too.” (Acts 11:1-18) Peter received a vision in which the Lord told him that the Gentiles were also being called! Peter changed his mind. And then three men from Caesarea arrived at his house, having also had a vision of an angel, who told them to go to Joppa and bring Peter back with them. The people in Ceasarea were converted and baptized in the Holy Spirit! Wow! God orchestrated this whole event by speaking to the hearts of Peter and of the men from Joppa. I have listened to so many stories that Michael Nolan has relayed to us about just this kind of event! Mike and many others are learning to hear the voice of God, and respond to it in amazing ways. The result is the conversion and healing of many people! Mike’s life sounds very much like Peter’s life. Inspirations from God lead him to many strangers who have hidden needs that Mike and his friends speak to, and conversions abound! This movement is really very much like the early Church! And the result is exactly what Our Lady asked of us on April 25, 2023: “Dear children! I am calling all of you to be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus for all those who are far from prayer; that the love of Jesus, through your lives, may transform them to a new life of conversion and holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” You can check out Mike’s mission and ministry at: https://shadowonthewater.com/ In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

April 28, 2023 Reflection – Whoever eats this bread will live forever!

Whoever eats this bread will live forever! April 28, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! First, let’s again prayerfully read the message of April 25, 2023: “Dear children! I am calling all of you to be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus for all those who are far from prayer; that the love of Jesus, through your lives, may transform them to a new life of conversion and holiness Thank you for having responded to my call.” Now let’s hear the Gospel for today with fresh ears. Jesus speaks of wonders!!: The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?” Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my Flesh is true food, and my Blood is true drink. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.” These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum. (John 6:52-59) Jesus offers us life with Him in Heaven in this Gospel. No one understood His words at that moment. But all He said is true! And now we know the truth! When we receive the Eucharist, we receive the Body and Blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is our salvation that we receive. Our Lady gave this powerful message, trying to teach us this truth anew: June 2, 2012 “Dear children, I am continuously among you because, with my endless love, I desire to show you the door of Heaven. I desire to tell you how it is opened: through goodness, mercy, love and peace – through my Son. Therefore, my children, do not waste time on vanities. Only knowledge of the love of my Son can save you. Through that salvific love and the Holy Spirit He chose me and I, together with Him, am choosing you to be apostles of His love and will. My children, great is the responsibility upon you. I desire that by your example you help sinners regain their sight, enrich their poor souls and bring them back into my embrace. Therefore, pray, pray, fast and confess regularly. If receiving my Son in the Eucharist is the center of your life then do not be afraid, you can do everything. I am with you. Every day I pray for the shepherds and I expect the same of you. Because, my children, without their guidance and strengthening through their blessing, you cannot do it. Thank you.” Mother, we say yes to your call. Show us the way to the Truth, your Son. Show us the way to the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus, so that we truly can do all you ask! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV

April 27, 2023 Reflection – A Message of Hope!

April 27, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! After Marija received the monthly message on April 25, she had a brief conversation with Fr. Livio! Our shipmate, Marina, has translated it for us, and I share it with you now. A conversation between Marija and Fr. Livio: Dear friends, we have now, live, Marija from Medjugorje reporting the message today the 25 April 2023. Hi Marija! Hello Father Livio! I greet all listeners of Radio Maria. Today, like every 25th of the month, Our Lady gave us the following message: “Dear children! I am calling all of you to be carriers of the peace and joy of the risen Jesus for all those who are far from prayer; that the love of Jesus, through your lives, may transform them to a new life of conversion and holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Fr. Livio: Marija, I would like you to make a brief consideration of this beautiful message. Marija: It is a message of hope, of testimony, thank Heaven! It is a positive message, because Our Lady always from the beginning repeats to us that we are bearers of peace and joy of the Risen Jesus. She is calling us to be her extended hands to all who are far away. Therefore, She says: “Pray so the love of Jesus may transform you to a new life of conversion and holiness.” And I believe that we are all called to holiness. And we thank Heaven for this because in these days we are approaching the month of May dedicated in special way to Our Lady and through many pilgrims, especially Italians who have come to Medjugorje, pray more. And we feel Her presence even in a greater and special way. I think that each of us has a thousand opportunities to say: “Starting from this month I am converting, I will decide for holiness.” Fr. Livio: Marija, I would like to give you one more small testimony. Last month She gave us a message, let’s say short and very intense and also very serious. Today we can say that Our Lady was happier. Marija: Our Lady was happy, the 25th is always a day of intense prayer, celebration, joy of gratitude, of expectation. We have a friend who celebrated his twenty-fifth year of priesthood today and we are grateful to the Lord. We need to pray that He will grant us many priestly vocations! Then there was another friend, Italian, here with us these days, who had a priestly vocation in Medjugorje. He was ill, in a coma, almost died and miraculously recovered! A great joy for all of us and also a testimony that God does not abandon us. Tonight, in a special way, Our Lady wanted to tell us that She loves us, that She walks with us, that She has not forgotten us, that She is healing us, converting us, and calling us in a thousand ways toward her Son who is the Way, the Truth and the life. Thank you Marija for these beautiful words you said and now we conclude with the prayer:  In the name of the Father…. I love the wonderful perspective Marija has on the messages. She is the person Our Lady has chosen to receive her monthly messages and share them with us! She is a special link with Our Lady!! We are so grateful for her dedication and generosity! Let’s live this message! It is from Heaven!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan Mary TV
