December 18, 2023 Reflection – A time of waiting and giving…

A time of waiting and giving…   December 18, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Here is our message for today: November 25, 2018 “Dear children! This is a time of grace and prayer, a time of waiting and giving. God is giving Himself to you that we may love Him above everything. Therefore, little children, open your hearts and families, so that this waiting may become prayer and love and, especially, giving. I am with you, little children, and encourage you not to give up from what is good, because the fruits are seen and heard of afar. That is why the enemy is angry and uses everything to lead you away from prayer. Thank you for having responded to my call.” This time of waiting is a true gift for us! When we have to wait, it gives us time to really ponder the gift that is coming, and to prepare our hearts for it so that we will be able to truly comprehend it in all its outrageous glory! The Father sends us His Son, who has taken on our lowly humanity in order to really become our brother, our friend, our companion, our guide, and our Savior. Jesus is a man, just as we are! Man and God! Incredible!! It is beyond the wildest dream of any dreamer, that Jesus, who is God, would become one of us. But He is one of us! For all eternity! And so Our Lady tells us to love Him above everything, open our hearts to Him so that this time will become a time of prayer and love and giving. She also tells us not to give up doing the good, as it will bear great fruit if we do! May we spend this week before Christmas doing exactly as She says! We must not let anything stop us! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023 PS. The parish continues to climb Apparition Hill for the Christmas Novena. They climb Apparition Hill every day until Saturday, December 23, praying the Rosary for peace. Mary TV will stream this climb each day, live, weather permitting. Join us on the Channel from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Medj Time!

December 15, 2023 Reflection – Peace is in danger…

Peace is in danger…   December 15, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Here is our message for today: November 25, 2015 “Dear children! Today I am calling all of you: pray for my intentions. Peace is in danger, therefore, little children, pray and be carriers of peace and hope in this restless world where Satan is attacking and tempting in every way. Little children, be firm in prayer and courageous in faith. I am with you and intercede before my Son Jesus for all of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Mother, Mary, came to us that day in 2015 to warn us that peace was in danger. She wanted us to be ready to stand for peace in a time of turmoil. And so she gave us instructions on how to protect and strengthen peace in a world under attack: Pray! Be carriers of peace and hope! Pray for Our Lady’s intentions! Be firm in prayer! Be courageous in faith! Trust in Our Lady’s intercession before Jesus! Always respond to Our Lady’s call! It is the same today. Peace is in danger. We must listen to Our Lady and follow her. In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023 PS. Today the parish begins the Christmas Novena.  They will climb Apparition Hill for 9 days, praying the Rosary for peace. The Climb will take place from 2:oo pm to 3:00 pm every day from December 15 to 23!  Mary TV will stream this climb each day, live, weather permitting.  Join us on the Channel from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Medj Time!

November 14, 2023 Reflection – I am calling you to prayer…

I am calling you to prayer…   December 14, 2023 St. Lucy Dear Family of Mary! Here is our message for today: Dear children! In a special way, today I am calling you to prayer. Pray, little children, so that you may comprehend who you are and where you need to go. Be carriers of the good news and be people of hope. Be love for all those who are without love. Little children, you will be everything and will achieve everything only if you pray and are open to God’s will – to God who desires to lead you towards eternal life. I am with you and intercede for you from day to day before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call. (November 25, 2014) May every word Our Lady speaks to us sink into our hearts and minds. May we pray and be open to God’s will at every moment! Come Lord Jesus! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! December 13, 2023 Reflection – Open the doors of your hearts…

Open the doors of your hearts…   December 13, 2023 St. Lucy Dear Family of Mary! November 25, 2013 “Dear children! Today I call all of you to prayer. Open the doors of your heart profoundly to prayer, little children, to prayer with the heart; and then the Most High will be able to act upon your freedom and conversion will begin. Your faith will become firm so that you will be able to say with all your heart: ‘My God, my all.’ You will comprehend, little children, that here on earth everything is passing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We may not realize it, but Christmas is a time for a deep encounter with God. The Nativity of Jesus seems innocent enough. The simplicity of a newborn found in a stable with oxen and asses can make us feel all fuzzy and warm. But the truth that lies in that manger full of straw is that Our Savior became Man, and He came not to fit into humanity, but to lead all humanity back to our true home in heaven with the Trinity.| This was an invasion! And we don’t stand a chance!! Jesus will be all in all, and in turn will hand over all creation to the Father for that everlasting life that awaits us. Are we ready?? Read this message again. Our Lady is getting us ready! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 12, 2023 Reflection – Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe   December 12, 2023 Our Lady of Guadalupe Dear Family of Mary! This day we honor Our Lady of Guadalupe, who appeared to St. Juan Diego in 1531 in Mexico. She worked an incredible miracle through Juan Diego, who was a simple peasant. She revealed herself to Bishop Juan de Zummaraga, on Juan Diego’s tilma, and the bishop was overcome with amazement and was converted to her presence immediately. Consequently, nine million Mexicans were converted and baptized. And the tilma is miraculously preserved to this day! Here are some of Our Lady’s words to Juan Diego. They are so motherly, just as her words are to us in our day in Medjugorje: “Know for certain, littlest of my sons, that I am the perfect and perpetual Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God through Whom everything lives, the Lord of all things near and far, the Master of heaven and earth. I wish and intensely desire that in this place my sanctuary be erected. Here I will demonstrate and exhibit and give all my love, my compassion, my help and my protection to the people. “I am your merciful Mother. The merciful Mother of all of you who live united in this land, and of all mankind, of all those who love me. Here I will hear their weeping, their sorrow, and will remedy, and alleviate all their multiple sufferings, necessities and misfortunes. “Listen, put it into your heart, my youngest and dearest son, that the thing that frightens you, the thing that afflicts you, is nothing: do not let it disturb you, Am I not here, I who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need something more? Let nothing else worry you or disturb you…” Now listen to Our Lady’s words to the visionaries in 1984: “I hold all of you in my arms. You are mine. I need your prayers so that you may be mine. I desire to be all yours and for you to be all mine. I receive all your prayers. I receive them with joy.” (February 23, 1984) “Pray and fast! I desire to be with you always. I desire to stay in your hearts always and for you to stay in mine.” (February 24, 1984) “Know that I love all of you. Know that you are all mine. To no one do I desire to give more than to you. Come to me all of you. Stay with me. I want to be your Mother. Come, I desire all of you.” (February 25, 1984) “Pray and fast! Know that I love you. I hold all of you on my knees.” (February 26, 1984) “Do not be tired. I desire to be with you.” (February 27, 1984) Certainly we have the same Mother with us in these days, helping us to find our way to heaven, where we will be her children forever! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 11, 2023 Reflection – You will discover the love and the joy of living!

You will discover the love and the joy of living!   December 11, 2023 St. Damasus I Dear Family of Mary! Listen to Our Lady’s wonderful words of wisdom, given to us before Advent in 2012: Dear children! In this time of grace, I call all of you to renew prayer. Open yourselves to Holy Confession so that each of you may accept my call with the whole heart. I am with you and I protect you from the ruin of sin, but you must open yourselves to the way of conversion and holiness, that your heart may burn out of love for God. Give Him time and He will give Himself to you and thus, in the will of God you will discover the love and the joy of living. Thank you for having responded to my call.  (November 25, 2012 ) May we discover the love of God and hence the joy of living this Advent. God gives us real joy, the kind of joy that will never end. Imagine that!!! In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 8, 2023 Reflection – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary   December 8, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Today we celebrate the wonder of Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception. This reality, which is Mary, takes my breath away! “The Virgin Mary, chosen Mother of the Redeemer, is robed in the splendor of her stainless innocence, clothed with the beauty of Christ, and prepared to receive him in her womb.” (Magnificat. December 23. P 107) Yes, Our Lady is so pure, so unburdened by sin! She is the only human who could have received Jesus worthily as her Son! And through her, we have all received Jesus as our Redeemer and King! St. Anselm wrote these beautiful words about Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception: From a Sermon by Saint Anselm (Oratio 52: 158, 955-956) Virgin Mary, all nature is blessed in you! Blessed Lady, sky and stars, earth and rivers, day and night –everything that is subject to the power or use of man –rejoice that through you they are in some sense restored to their lost beauty and are endowed with inexpressible new grace. All creatures were dead, as it were, useless for men or for the praise of God, who made them. The world, contrary to its true destiny, was corrupted and tainted by the acts of men who served idols. Now all creation has been restored to life and rejoices that it is controlled and given splendor by men who believe in God. The universe rejoices with new and indefinable loveliness. Not only does it feel the unseen presence of God himself, its Creator, it sees him openly, working and making it holy. These great blessings spring from the blessed fruit of Mary’s womb. Through the fullness of the grace that was given you, dead things rejoice in their freedom, and those in heaven are glad to be made new. Through the Son who was the glorious fruit of your virgin womb, just souls who died before his life-giving death rejoice as they are freed from captivity, and the angels are glad at the restoration of their shattered domain. Lady, full and overflowing with grace, all creation receives new life from your abundance. Virgin, blessed above all creatures, through your blessing all creation is blessed, not only creation from its Creator, but the Creator himself has been blessed by creation. To Mary God gave his only-begotten Son, whom he loved as himself. Through Mary God made himself a Son, not different but the same, by nature Son of God and Son of Mary. The whole universe was created by God, and God was born of Mary. God created all things, and Mary gave birth to God. The God who made all things gave himself form through Mary, and thus he made his own creation. He who could create all things from nothing would not remake his ruined creation without Mary. God, then, is the Father of the created world and Mary the mother of the re-created world. God is the Father by whom all things were given life, and Mary the mother through whom all things were given new life. For God begot the Son, through whom all things were made, and Mary gave birth to him as the Savior of the world. Without God’s Son, nothing could exist; without Mary’s Son, nothing could be redeemed. Truly the Lord is with you, to whom the Lord granted that all nature should owe as much to you as to himself. (St. Anselm – Oratio 52: 158, 955-956) Our Lady, this amazing woman who God chose to be the Mother of His Son, longs for us to be close to her, to follow her and listen to her messages. She longs for us to be close to her Immaculate Heart where we will find God. We can only be stunned by this wonder of love! She told us: June 25, 2013 “Dear children! With joy in the heart I love you all and call you to draw closer to my Immaculate Heart so I can draw you still closer to my Son Jesus, and that He can give you His peace and love, which are nourishment for each one of you. Open yourselves, little children, to prayer – open yourselves to my love. I am your mother and cannot leave you alone in wandering and sin. You are called, little children, to be my children, my beloved children, so I can present you all to my Son. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Thank you, dearest Mother, for loving us and calling us to come closer to your Immaculate Heart!!! Thank you for calling us to be your children, your beloved children!! Thank you for drawing us ever closer to your Son, Jesus. We are dumfounded at this great gift, that you would be our Mother. We love you…. In Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 7, 2023 Reflection – Grace for your souls…

Grace for your souls…   December 7, 2023 St. Ambrose Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady walks with us through each year, giving us the gifts and encouragement we need to stay the course. In the message today, she shows us how to make this Advent time a time of grace. Listen to her motherly advice: Here is the message: November 25, 2011 “Dear children! Today I desire to give you hope and joy. Everything that is around you, little children, leads you towards worldly things but I desire to lead you towards a time of grace, so that through this time you may be all the closer to my Son, that He can lead you towards His love and eternal life, for which every heart yearns. You, little children, pray and may this time for you be one of grace for your soul… Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother, we need your help. So many things want to lead us astray, into worldly things. Please pray for us to choose the way of holiness and unity with your Son. May we truly find ourselves in a time of grace this Advent!! We need grace for our souls!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 6, 2023 Reflection – Open yourselves…

Open yourselves…   December 6, 2023 St. Nicholas Dear Family of Mary! The message for today is one of the darker messages from Our Lady. She is a strong woman, to be able to see what she sees in us, and to call it what it is. She is a brave woman to speak the truth, no matter how dark, in order to bring about conversion in her children. Here is the message: November 25, 2010  “Dear children! I look at you and I see in your heart death without hope, restlessness and hunger. There is no prayer or trust in God, that is why the Most High permits me to bring you hope and joy. Open yourselves. Open your hearts to God’s mercy and He will give you everything you need and will fill your hearts with peace, because He is peace and your hope. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Clearly, God is ready to deliver us from all evil. But we must open our hearts to Him, admit our sin, and ask for Him to come into our hearts with His Mercy. This message shows us another dimension of Advent. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 5, 2023 Reflection – Prepare yourselves with joy!!!

Prepare yourselves with joy!   December 5, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! In our message for today, Our Lady calls us to prepare with joy for the coming of Baby Jesus through renewed prayer in our families. I had never thought of joy being a way to prepare for Jesus’ coming! But it must be!! Here is the message: November 25, 2009  “Dear children! In this time of grace I call you all to renew prayer in your families. Prepare yourselves with joy for the coming of Jesus. Little children, may your hearts be pure and pleasing, so that love and warmth may flow through you into every heart that is far from His love. Little children, be my extended hands, hands of love for all those who have become lost, who have no more faith and hope. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Just as fasting and penance are necessary for our spiritual lives, so too is joy! When we enter into joy, we enter into the very heart of God, for He is only Light, only Happiness, only Truth, and totally Love! The only response to these awesome realities is Joy! Joy spills out of God’s heart into our hearts when we draw close to Him and worship Him in all His Mighty Glory. Joy is the way of life in Heaven. And so, Our Lady calls us to prepare for the coming of Her Son with Joy!! But how can we help our families to enter into prayer with joy? Many of our family members today do not talk about God and they are reticent to even pray the simplest prayers. But we can still lovingly work on their conversion, through our example, and our conversations with them and through the deep joy we carry in our hearts because of God. Our prayers with them can communicate that joy! Even the smallest prayer can open a closed heart. The Holy Spirit can do miracles through just such prayers. He quietly enters and speaks to those hearts, confirming the prayer that was prayed. We are not alone when we pray for and with our families. God joins in! Our Lady wants our Advent to be a time of joy in the Spirit! If our hearts are “pure and pleasing” then the love of God will flow through us to our families, and then into the world. Oh, come Holy Spirit and help us to become pure and pleasing, to be extended hands of love for those who are lost and have no faith or hope. May we renew our prayer and pray with our families until joy rules in our hearts, our families and the world! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023
