November 25, 2022 – Marija speaks with Fr. Livio about Our Lady’s Message

A conversation between Marija Pavlovic Lunetti and Fr. Livio – November 25, 2022: Dear friends, we have now, live, Marija from Medjugorje reporting the message of the Queen of Peace today the 25 November 2022. Hi Marija! Hello Father Livio! I greet all listeners of Radio Maria. Today, like every 25th of the month, Our Lady gave us the following message: “Dear children!. Prayer opens hearts and gives hope, and faith is born and strengthened. Little children, with love I am calling you: return to God, because God is love and your hope. You do not have a future if you do not decide for God; and that is why I am with you to guide you to decide for conversion and life, and not for death. Thank you for having responded to my call.” F.L. Well Marjia I gather this message is extremely full of exhortations and spiritual proposals. M. Exactly Father Livio! Thank God Our Lady is still with us and is still guiding us and giving us messages. While we wait for the message we make sure that the day is surrounded and filled with prayer. During the apparition I was thinking how many people came to Medjugorje, began to pray and faith was born in their hearts, and it strengthened and many found God again. This is an invitation for all of us to pray even more and testify with our lives. In this time in which we are approaching Advent it is particularly a time of grace in which she wants to teach us to pray by opening our hearts. I begin to realize that many words are often useless and superfluous while prayer remains the most concrete thing. I therefore invite you all to pray because prayer works miracles. We have seen it through the numerous testimonies and I thank Our Lady and the Most High because even today they have not gotten tired of us. By saying: “The Most High has sent me to you to teach you prayer,” She becomes our teacher and therefore we do everything with love. I believe that without “love” there is no life, we all become poor. So I invite you above all in this time of Advent, of expectation, of grace, of mercy, of waiting for the Child Jesus, to open your hearts and try to be “prayer”. F.L. Marjia surely prayer is the thing that impresses us the most when we arrive in Medjugorje, not only in the Church, but in the open valley area, on the hills and really everywhere! It is a wonderful thing. So, I wanted to ask you this – Our Lady has emphasized the Holy Mass above all other prayer and we especially in the Western world see that many young people are completely absent from Mass. They pray personally but unless they are in a particular group, you don’t see young people at Holy Mass: how can this be overcome Marjia? M. By praying, I think we must become more and more prayer. Many words, many projects are useless, what matters is prayer – the personal relationship with God. The Lord knows that we are not experts, but we can do it with the heart anyway. We are all invited to be Love and bring to prayer all those who need it, starting with the families that are destroyed, making a corner for Sacred Reading in our homes as well as for the Nativity Scene. Where there is no prayer there is no love, there is no hope. F.L. It is also nice, Marjia, in this time period to have something that invites us as families to prayer, even as Our Lady invited us for example to read the Holy Scriptures in the family. In this time of Advent with the signs of Christmas, all of this can help us to be more prepared with open hearts. M. Yes Father Livio, we who were young during communism experienced Christmas more intensely. Today consumerism in wealthier Europe is offering us materialism through unbridled shopping, and we have forgotten the spiritual part of Christmas. This is why Our Lady is guiding us and helping us in what is lacking in many families. F.L. Once, years ago at Christmas there would be queues of people who went to confession, and so Our Lady now is inviting us to decide for conversion, and she invites us to prepare a renewal of life with a beautiful confession before Holy Christmas. M. Exactly! Here (in Medjugorje) we have the beautiful habit of going early in the morning to Holy Mass, the morning Mass that we call “zornice”! Once we used to light up many candles and place them on the altar, and today it would be nice to take it up again because it would allow us to live even more deeply our relationship with God in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, in the Eucharist, in Adoration. F.L. Even in our parishes people should be called to confession because I see that in Medjugorje everything is easier while in Italy this sacrament is somehow set aside. M. Father Livio, Our Lady wants us to take the parish of Medjugorje as an example and bring it to our cities; this is holiness, conversion, love that the Lord is giving us through the presence of Our Lady. This is the time of joy, of truth, of an encounter with the Child Jesus who transforms hearts even through a simple gesture such as offering a small flower that Mary wants to offer to her Son and transforming it into a very fragrant bouquet as a sign of us returning like children again. F.L. Marjia, I wanted to ask you: “Lately Our Lady has referred several times in the messages of the 25th, as she did in last month’s message, that without God there is no future. She repeats it to us but it is as if we do not listen, somehow believing that we can very well go on without God. M. Many times, I find myself not wanting to comment on the message right away because it’s too early. Being so demanding and at the same time profound we know that Our Lady with her presence is a gift for which we need to metabolize it and expand it with prayer so that the same Spirit that sends Her among us can also make Her be born within us. Instead of talking about it, I would like to start praying and to open our hearts as She asks us to do, so that our faith is strengthened. At the beginning of the apparitions, we didn’t know how to do many things but we certainly knew how to kneel down and pray without ceasing day and night. We have had a beautiful experience of prayer that I wish each of you to have and to experience your encounter with God. This is the right time for each of us, waiting for Christmas with confessions, forgiveness, reconciliation, it is time for novenas, special prayers, special gifts and to be a gift ourselves to others. This is why we can rediscover our family now that it is cold here in Europe and this weather also helps us to stay warm in our homes where we make a space by placing a candle, the Holy Scriptures where we can read and meditate together and have a dialogue. Today unfortunately many families no longer speak to each other, they do not speak of God because they consider Him in Heaven while Our Lady is telling us that instead He is here with us on Earth. FL In fact Marjia this is a terrible thing – that in the family between parents, children, husband and wife one is afraid to talk about God and religious things. We talk about everything but not about this, it’s as if it were a personal thing and that’s it. But this is a very bad thing. M. Very bad, but the Lord sent our Mother among us to tell us: “Convert, return to God” and for this we thank Her with all our heart. She changed our lives and brought us to Her Son, Jesus! This is an immense gift. My life is a continuous thanksgiving not only for the grace of being able to see Her but also for having received Her teachings. I also thank the Good Lord for every moment we shared with Our Lady, in prayer on Apparition Hill, during Adoration, in front of the Church, behind the Church, on the altar in the open space, late at night when we were tired, when we went before Jesus and we found the strength to say: “Lord you know, you know our lives, our situations and you know very well what we need.” When we open this heart of ours to God which is so often wounded, and when we are in communion with Him, He works through prayer. This is my personal experience; I have offered my collaboration a thousand times to be an instrument, to praise God for the gift of life and for the example we can be for all those who are far away, who have not yet known God’s love. FL Marjia, reading Our Lady’s messages, especially those of the 25th of the month, they are of an extraordinary beauty, they truly come from Heaven, but they have reached us through you. As you said, how do you feel? M. I feel in a crisis, Father Livio, because every time Our Lady comes to me,  I don’t feel adequate to it and in need of more time. Therefore, I try to be as brief as possible after the apparition, because I wish I could remain in prayer and I would like to be silent immediately after each apparition, to meditate on all that the Lord is bestowing on us through His Mother. I recognize it as an immense free gift for my life, for the parish of Medjugorje, but also for all mankind. The Lord works through us and many people have embraced the messages of Our Lady, who brings us back to her Son, Jesus, with so much patience and with a unique love. We returned to the sacraments especially in the early years and Our Lady advised us to choose a spiritual guide to undertake a path of holiness and undertake the school of prayer. Even today we feel incapable, but we try with all of ourselves and with all our hearts. F.L. Marjia as we go towards the conclusion as you said it well, it will take me the whole month to meditate on this message and that won’t even be enough! But it seems to me there is one fundamental point, that the first word Our Lady says is the one that sets the tone for the message. That word was to return to prayer! I understood that this is the most important thing in a person’s life. Here I would like to say, in this season of Advent, that it will be a time in which we dedicate all the time necessary to prayer to prepare our hearts for Jesus, a strong invitation to prayer that is the first thing we must learn this evening. M. Yes I have already divided the message in my heart and in my mind into different parts because I see that there is a lot of work to do, Father Livio, having to decide for the life of the Risen Jesus. We realize that so many people have died internally and are walking skeletons and we have to “yearn for Heaven” and think of Eternal Life as She told us numerous times. If we listen to Her advice, I’m sure that each of us will become better and this is the right time to seize this invitation. FL Yes, she told us many times “yearn for Heaven, your life is like a flower, in the morning it is beautiful and in the evening it dies out”. We must return to this vision of faith. M. Of simple faith because often we don’t want to lose ourselves chatting but rather we want to pray more. This is a need of mine that I believe is growing in awareness. I am cognizant of this enormous gift we are experiencing, that the Lord is giving us. F.L. However, Marjia, I am experiencing that Our Lady invites us to pray and many times She also says to pray day and night; so, when we have filled the day and night with prayer it is almost impossible to live without praying. There is this beautiful thing – to be able to testify that when one has done one’s duty in life it means that it is no longer an effort but a need and a joy. M. And then we will discover that through those things Our Lady is telling us to do, our faith will be born and strengthened. That’s exactly where we have come to; one who prays opens his heart, faith grows and is strengthened! F.L. Yes it is just as Our Lady said: “Prayer is like the rain that wets the flower of faith. Without prayer (the rain), the flower withers and dies.” M. Exactly, exactly, and for this reason: “courage”, “let us pray” and “trust” in the Lord because He knows our needs. In a special way in this time of Advent we have to trust in the Lord who is merciful, generous and is sending us our and His Mother to guide us not only for our good but for the good of all humanity as you said Father Livio. Yesterday we also celebrated the 22nd anniversary of the death of Father Slavko who, having come to Medjugorje, took Our Lady’s messages and put them into practice, lived them by renouncing many personal things, putting God and Our Lady first. Prayer was very important to him every morning on the hill of the Cross. F.L. Yes, Father Slavko was also a great example of prayer as well as a teacher of the spiritual life! Here then Marjia with your reflections we are preparing to live the time of Advent as a time of prayer but also of self-examination to make a beautiful confession before Christmas! And then, as a gift of Peace, Our Lady will bring us the Child Jesus, King of Peace at Christmas. M. Exactly, while waiting for the Child Jesus we remain united in prayer and in the Communion of Saints because let’s say it, we also can become saints! F.L. Of course, with this we conclude with the prayer of the Magnificat: In the Name of the Father…

November 25, 2022 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace of Medjugorje

Thank you, dearest Mother, for this message!   November 25 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Here is the November 25, 2022 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace, of Medjugorje! “Dear children! The Most High has sent me to you to teach you prayer. Prayer opens hearts and gives hope, and faith is born and strengthened. Little children, with love I am calling you: return to God, because God is love and your hope. You do not have a future if you do not decide for God; and that is why I am with you to guide you to decide for conversion and life, and not for death. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 25, 2022) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

November 23, 2022 Reflection – In the end the encounter with my Son!!

In the end the encounter with my son!   November 23, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady again speaks to us of the end in this message. She wants us to keep our eyes focused on the ultimate reality, that this life on earth will end, and eternity will be our home. Like a good mother, she doesn’t want her children to live this life blindly. She wants us to walk uprightly and with purpose into the future, a future with God. She says to us: July 2, 2015  “Dear children, I am calling you to spread the faith in my Son – your faith. You, my children illuminated by the Holy Spirit, my apostles, transmit it to others – to those who do not believe, who do not know, who do not want to know – but for that you must pray a lot for the gift of love, because love is the mark of true faith – and you will be apostles of my love. Love always, anew, revives the pain and the joy of the Eucharist, it revives the pain of the Passion of my Son, by which He showed you what it means to love immeasurably; it revives the joy for having left you His body and blood to feed you with Himself – and in this way, to be one with you. Looking at you with tenderness, I feel immeasurable love which strengthens me in my desire to bring you to a firm faith. Firm faith will give you joy and happiness on earth… and in the end the encounter with my Son. This is His desire. Therefore, live Him, live love, live the light that always illuminates you in the Eucharist. I implore you to pray a lot for your shepherds, to pray so as to have all the more love for them because my Son gave them to you to feed you with His body and to teach you love. Therefore, also you are to love them. But, my children, remember, love means to endure and to give, and never, ever to judge. Thank you.” “Firm faith will give you joy and happiness on earth, and in the end the encounter with my Son!!!” This is how we walk with Our Lady, joyfully on earth, and filled with the happiness of knowing Jesus, so that we will encounter Him in the end, our end, which is Heaven!! November 22, 2022 Reflection – In the end…

In the end…   November 22, 2022 St. Cecilia Dear Family of Mary! We are drawing to the end of this Liturgical Year. Our readings are about final things. Our Lady has given us counsel on the last things, and indeed is preparing us for them. This message is one example. May we allow her wisdom to fill us with resolve, courage, and peace! June 2, 2015 “Dear children, I desire to work through you, my children, my apostles, so that, in the end, I may gather all my children there where everything is prepared for your happiness. I am praying for you, that through work you can convert others, because the time has come for acts of truth, for my Son. My love will work in you – I will make use of you. Have trust in me, because everything that I desire, I desire for your good, the eternal good created by the Heavenly Father. You, my children, my apostles, are living an earthly life in union with my children who have not come to know the love of my Son, who do not call me ‘mother’ – but do not be afraid to witness Truth. If you are not afraid and witness courageously, the truth will miraculously win, but remember, strength is in love. My children, love is repentance, forgiveness, prayer, sacrifice and mercy. If you will know how to love, by your works you will convert others, you will enable the light of my Son to penetrate into souls. Thank you. Pray for your shepherds. They belong to my Son. He called them. Pray that they may always have the strength and the courage to shine with the light of my Son.” Amen!! Thank you dearest Mother! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! November 21, 2022 Reflection – The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary   November 21, 2022 The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Dear Family of Mary! I have never quite understood this feast day. To be honest, there wasn’t enough information for me. But I do understand that Our Lady, by a special grace, understood that she was to give herself entirely to God. This was her call, and she was given a heart for it as well. She was given prevenient grace, so that she would be conceived free of original sin. And in that state Our Lady chose to stay free of sin, and to give herself totally to God! I wonder if when Jesus saw the poor widow enter the temple and put in two small coins, He was reminded of His mother, who gave all she had to the Father in that very same way. The widow offered her whole livelihood, and Mary offered her entire life. This is what we marvel at today. Our Lady gave herself to God entirely, her whole life through! And think of the incredible work God was able to do through Our Lady’s total gift of herself to Him!! Jesus is the fruit of that gift!! Our salvation! The salvation of the whole world!!! Mary’s Yes to God made our salvation possible. Mother Mary gave us a message in which she offers to help us make a gift of ourselves to Jesus. Pondering the Presentation of Mary, it makes sense that she could help us with that gift of self. Here is her offer of help: March 18, 2002 “Dear Children! As a mother, I implore you, open your heart and offer it to me, and fear nothing. I will be with you and will teach you how to put Jesus in the first place. I will teach you to love Him and to belong to Him completely. Comprehend, dear children that without my Son there is no salvation. You should become aware that He is your beginning and your end. Only with this awareness can you be happy and merit eternal life. As your mother, I desire this for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Amen! Our Lady wants us to put Jesus in the first place in our lives. Put Him there and keep Him there. In that way we will be saved, and also, at the end of our lives, we will see all the good the God has been able to do through us, as we live for Him! Yes, I want to put Jesus in the first place in my life! Mother Mary, help me to put Jesus in the very center of my life!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

November 18, 2022 Reflection – A River of Joy!

A River of Joy   November 18, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady wants our lives to be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of our hearts like a river of joy!! Think of how much we could be blessing other people if joy was flowing out of us like a river!! May it be so! August 25, 1988 “Dear children! Today I invite you all to rejoice in the life which God gives you. Little children, rejoice in God, the Creator, because He has created you so wonderfully. Pray that your life be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of your heart like a river of joy. Little children, give thanks unceasingly for all that you possess, for each little gift which God has given you, so that a joyful blessing always comes down from God upon your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” This Psalm of David reveals the heart of King David, from whose heart a river of joyful thanksgiving really did flow out! Let’s pray with David: Ps.138 A Psalm of David. I give thee thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing thy praise; I bow down toward thy holy temple and give thanks to thy name for thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness; for thou hast exalted above everything thy name and thy word. On the day I called, thou didst answer me, my strength of soul thou didst increase. All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, for they have heard the words of thy mouth; and they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD. For though the LORD is high, he regards the lowly; but the haughty he knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou dost preserve my life; thou dost stretch out thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand delivers me. The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; thy steadfast love, O LORD, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of thy hands. Amen! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

November 17, 2022 Reflection – A Rosary of Gratitude

A Rosary of Gratitude   November 17, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! I want to follow up on the idea of gratitude as an antidote to all the negativity that wants to wash over us in these days. So I did a search for a litany of gratitude. But what I found instead was a Rosary of Gratitude! I had never heard of this prayer. But as I read the description of it, I was so excited. Here is what is suggested for the Gratitude Rosary: How to Pray the Gratitude Rosary The Rosary of Gratitude is simple to memorize and pray. The opening prayers are the same as the original Rosary: the Apostles’ Creed, an Our Father, three Hail Marys, and a Glory Be. On the bead that introduces each new decade, pray an Our Father. On the 10 beads of the decades, tell God something you are grateful for. This could be as simple as your health, or as detailed as a memory you have from when you were growing up. (Trying to come up with 50 things you are grateful for might seem intimidating. Once you start though, it is easy to keep thinking of blessings in your life. If you ever get stuck, take a look around at the environment you are in and try to find inspiration there. You can also just say the traditional Rosary and add something you are grateful for at the end of each Hail Mary!) To close the Rosary of Gratitude, you can pray the Hail Holy Queen like a regular Rosary. Or, you can come up with something personal to conclude with. (https://everydayprayerco.com/) I truly believe that practicing gratitude daily will be a great boost to our mental, emotional, and spiritual well being. It will draw us close to our loving Father in Heaven and give us the peace and strength to share our faith with others. Our Lady told us: September 25, 2012 “Dear children! When in nature you look at the richness of the colors which the Most High gives to you, open your heart and pray with gratitude for all the good that you have and say: ‘I am here created for eternity’ – and yearn for heavenly things because God loves you with immeasurable love. This is why He also gave me to you to tell you: ‘Only in God is your peace and hope, dear children’. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! November 16, 2022 Reflection – Let your everyday be filled with gratitude to God

Let your everyday be filled with gratitude to God   November 16, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! I don’t know about you, but over the past few years I have had to struggle with anxiety and worry. I take it to prayer and stay close to the Rosary and Holy Mass, which helps so very much! But still there are moments when I am attacked with worry and even some resentment at the world that is so out of order. Well, I took that worry, anxiety and resentment to confession last week, and the wonderful priest who heard my confession gave me some long-needed advice. His penance for me was to turn my thoughts towards gratitude. He said gratitude is the antidote to resentment and many other negative responses to life. I tried it immediately, and realized he was right! When a negative and resentful worry-some situation appeared in my mind, I began to thank God for everything in that situation, giving Him praise and glory for those involved, and for all the good I had received even in the difficulty. And immediately, I felt a warmth flood into my heart and mind, and a joy invade my soul. I was not a hapless victim in that situation, but a person who could bring good to it, because God is in charge. And I could love the other people involved, with the love of that same God! Well, I have been simply applying gratitude to all of my daily challenges since then, and I feel like a new person. Our Lady has spoken to us about gratitude and how important it is for our lives. Here are two messages: October 25, 2002 “Dear children! Also today I call you to prayer. Little children, believe that by simple prayer miracles can be worked. Through your prayer you open your heart to God and He works miracles in your life. By looking at the fruits, your heart fills with joy and gratitude to God for everything He does in your life and, through you, also to others. Pray and believe little children, God gives you graces and you do not see them. Pray and you will see them. May your day be filled with prayer and thanksgiving for everything that God gives you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The simple prayer we pray to God can open up a flood of gratitude as we see the miracles He is doing in our lives. The more time we spend with the Lord, the more we know what He is doing, and we can see His blessing on our lives. This brings more gratitude and joy! Gratitude must be one of the deepest emotions we will have in Heaven. We will be grateful to God for all eternity!!! Our Lady tells us in this next message that we should fill every day with the prayer of gratitude to God: April 25, 1991 “Dear children! Today I invite you all so that your prayer be prayer with the heart. Let each of you find time for prayer so that in prayer you discover God. I do not desire you to talk about prayer, but to pray. Let your everyday be filled with prayer of gratitude to God for life and for all that you have. I do not desire your life to pass by in words but that you glorify God with deeds. I am with you and I am grateful to God for every moment spent with you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The prayer of thanksgiving and gratitude will fill us we joy, peace, truth, hope, faith and love. Once we know the incredible love that God is pouring out on us, we can never again be tempted to ingratitude. We know better! God loves us, with a love so powerful that it will never end, ever! Thanks be to God! Thanks be to our wonderful God!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

November 14, 2022 Reflection – Heaven and Eternity

Heaven and Eternity   November 14, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! A couple of days ago, as I was praying after Communion, I had a brief but vivid image of Our Lady, standing beside me. She was tall and beautiful, and her robes were flowing around me. I was like a little child. I looked up at her, as if to ask her a question, and she looked down at me, placed her finger over her lips as if to say “Shhhhh”, and then pointed with that same finger upwards. It was as if she was telling me not to speak but to lift my gaze heavenward, because God was about to do something. That was what I saw, and it filled me with peace. I feel that there is so much we do not know, so much that is happening that is simply out of our ken! We can waste countless hours trying to figure out how to make the world a better place, or to stop evil. But there is only one thing necessary. To silence our hearts and look up…look towards Heaven and eternity, as Our Lady has said. Looking up is an act of hope, an act of faith, an act of trust in God. We can at least be those who believe, hope and trust in God. That counts for something! Our Lady told us: December 25, 2016 “Dear children! With great joy, today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to give you His peace. Open your hearts, little children, and be joyful that you can receive it. Heaven is with you and is fighting for peace in your hearts, in the families and in the world; and you, little children, help with your prayers for it to be so. I bless you with my Son Jesus and call you not to lose hope; and for your gaze and heart to always be directed towards Heaven and eternity. In this way, you will be open to God and to His plans. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother, help us to keep our gaze and our heart always directed towards Heaven and eternity. We want to be open to God and to His plans! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

November 11, 2022 Reflection – Spread the love of my Son…

Spread the love of my Son…   November 11, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! April 2, 2017 “Dear children, apostles of my love, it is up to you to spread the love of my Son to all those who have not come to know it; you, the little lights of the world, whom I am teaching with motherly love to shine clearly with full brilliance. Prayer will help you, because prayer saves you, prayer saves the world. Therefore, my children, pray with words, feelings, merciful love and sacrifice. My Son has shown you the way – He who became incarnate and made of me the first chalice – with His exalted sacrifice He has shown you how you need to love. Therefore, my children, do not be afraid to speak the truth. Do not be afraid to change yourself and the world by spreading love, by doing everything for my Son to be known and loved by loving others in Him. As a mother, I am always with you. I am imploring my Son to help you for love to reign in your life – love that lives, love that draws, love which gives life. I am teaching you such love – pure love. It is up to you, my apostles, to recognize it, live it and spread it. Pray with feeling for your shepherds so that they can witness my Son with love. Thank you.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
