June 12, 2023 Reflection – “Blessed are they who believe without having seen.”

“Blessed are they who believe without having seen.”   June 12, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! I want to share the conversation that Our Lady had with the visionaries on the 5th day of her apparitions, June 28, 1981. The simple interchanges between the children and Our Lady are very interesting. Mother spoke to them simply and with no extra words at all! She wanted them to remember what she said, and fix it firmly in their memory, so that her words would guide them. Here is what was said: Sunday, June 28, 1981 The visionaries: What do you wish? “That people believe and persevere in the faith.” Vicka: What do you expect from the priests? “That they remain strong in the faith and that they help you.” Why don’t you appear to everyone in church? “Blessed are they who believe without having seen.” Will you come back? “Yes, to the same place.” Do you prefer prayer or singing? “Both, praying and singing.” Vicka: What do you wish from the crowd which has gathered here? The visionaries said this question received no response except for a glance filled with love, and Our Lady’s smile. Then Our Lady disappeared. The visionaries prayed so that she might return because she had not said: Goodbye, my angels. During their song, You Are All Beautiful, she reappears. Vicka: Dear Gospa, what do you expect of this people? She repeated the question three times and finally was given this answer: “That those who do not see believe as those who see.” Vicka: Will you leave us a sign so that people believe that we are not liars or comedians? No other response, only a smile. “Go in the peace of God“, She said, as she disappeared. (03/28/81) What really struck me was the answer Our Lady gave when asked why the people do not see her as the visionaries do: “Blessed are they who believe without having seen.” Doesn’t her answer sound like it came directly from the Beatitudes in Matthew’s Gospel? So simple and short, and enigmatic! In the Beatitudes, Jesus wanted us to realize that getting what we want on earth is not always the best thing for us! In fact it is our response of faith that makes every situation in our life good for us! It is our faith in God’s love, even when we are deprived that will bless us! The Gospel for today, Matthew 5: 1-12) Matthew 5:1-12) When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”(Matthew 5: 1-12) Thank you, dearest Mother, for teaching us even as Jesus taught the disciples. We are so blessed indeed! June 9, 2023 Reflection – Life is short and eternity is waiting!

Life is short and eternity is waiting…   June 9, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! September 25, 2021 “Dear children! Pray, witness and rejoice with me because the Most High continues to send me to lead you on the way of holiness. Be aware, little children, that life is short and eternity is waiting for you to give glory to God with your being, with all the saints. Little children, do not worry about earthly things, but long for Heaven. Heaven will be your goal and joy will begin to reign in your heart. I am with you and bless all of you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call. I couldn’t resist sharing this message again with you all. Our Lady is such a good Mother. She is teaching us how to think properly, how to desire rightly, how to aim at what is most important! And I feel that this is what St. Paul was teaching in this chapter of Colossians. Let’s prayerfully read these words of very good advice, and try to incorporate them in our lives! The New Life in Christ If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming.* In these you once walked, when you lived in them. But now put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and foul talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old nature with its practices and have put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all, and in all. Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as you teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3: 1-17) We have our homework for the weekend!! June 8, 2023 Reflection – Love God above all else…

Love God above all else…   June 8, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! In the Gospel for today Jesus summarizes His message perfectly: Mark 12:28-34: One of the scribes came to Jesus and asked him, “Which is the first of all the commandments?” Jesus replied, “The first is this: Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” The scribe said to him, “Well said, teacher. You are right in saying, He is One and there is no other than he. And to love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” And when Jesus saw that he answered with understanding, he said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” And no one dared to ask him any more questions. Jesus’ words are so strong and simple. He teaches with power! “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” This is the number one priority for all of us, all people! To love our God with all our might, constantly! And Our Lady has told us the same thing in Medjugorje. Her words are so strong, so sure. They can help us to learn to love God above all else. Here are some examples, some messages that we can pray with today in response to this Gospel: May 25, 1999 “Dear children! Also today I call you to convert and to more firmly believe in God. Children, you seek peace and pray in different ways, but you have not yet given your hearts to God for Him to fill them with His love. So, I am with you to teach you and to bring you closer to the love of God. If you love God above all else, it will be easy for you to pray and to open your hearts to Him. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 25, 2010 “Dear children! God gave you the grace to live and to defend all the good that is in you and around you, and to inspire others to be better and holier; but satan, too, does not sleep and through modernism diverts you and leads you to his way. Therefore, little children, in the love for my Immaculate Heart, love God above everything and live His commandments. In this way, your life will have meaning and peace will rule on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 25, 2015 “Dear children! Also today I am calling you to be prayer. May prayer be for you the wings for an encounter with God. The world is in a moment of trial, because it forgot and abandoned God. Therefore you, little children, be those who seek and love God above all. I am with you and I am leading you to my Son, but you must say your ‘yes’ in the freedom of children of God. I intercede for you and I love you, little children, with an endless love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” February 25, 2018 “Dear children! In this time of grace I am calling all of you to open yourselves and to live the commandments which God has given you, that they may lead you through the Sacraments on the way of conversion. The world and worldly temptations are testing you, but you, little children, look at God’s creatures which He has given to you in beauty and humility and, little children, love God above everything and He will lead you on the way of salvation. Thank you for having responded to my call.” February 25, 2023 “Dear children! Keep converting and clothe yourselves in penitential garments and in personal, deep prayer; and in humility, seek peace from the Most High. In this time of grace, Satan wants to seduce you; but you, little children, keep looking at my Son and follow Him towards Calvary in renunciation and fasting. I am with you because the Most High permits me to love you and lead you towards the joy of the heart, in faith which grows for all those who love God above all. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Love God above all else!!! It is the answer to every question!! Love God above all else!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2023

June 7, 2023 Reflection – We all rejoice in Heaven!!

We all rejoice in Heaven! June 6, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! In the gospel today (Mark 12:18-27) the Sadducees ask Jesus a trick question about the woman who was married 7 times, to brothers, each of whom died. They ask Jesus whose wife she will be at the resurrection? Of course the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection. But Jesus tells them: “Are you not misled because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? When they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are like angels in heaven…” Jesus could not be stumped. But we can have wrong ideas of heaven too. Our Lady has spoken of heaven with great joy, hoping we can also have the joy of anticipation of heaven. She can’t be stumped either: Easter Sunday, April 22, 1984 “We all rejoice in Heaven. Rejoice with us.” November 27, 1986″Dear children! Again today I call you to consecrate your life to me with love, so I am able to guide you with love. I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God. I want you to realize that this life lasts briefly compared to the one in Heaven. Therefore, dear children, decide again today for God. Only that way will I be able to show how much you are dear to me and how much I desire all to be saved and to be with me in Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 2021 “Dear children!… Yearn for Heaven; and in Heaven there is no sorrow or hatred. That is why, little children, decide anew for conversion and let holiness begin to reign in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 25, 1991″Dear Children! …. I am here, dear children, to help you and to lead you to heaven, and in heaven is the joy through which you can already live heaven now. Thank you for having responded to my call!” Our Lady wants us to anticipate heaven as our goal, our real life, a place of great joy!! No more rancor or interpersonal troubles there!! Mother Angelica wrote a fantastic reflection about Heaven that I want to share with you. I found it in the Magnificat for June 2023, and it was published by EWTN Publishing in the book: “Mother Angelica on God, His Home, and His Angels”. Heavenly Ties, Heavenly Love In heaven, we will have a personal love and consideration for each one there. We shall be deeply interested in one another, as real brothers and friends should be. And so, there will be a real family bond between us—an all-for-one and one-for-all attitude. We will possess that all-embracing love that includes everyone and excludes no one. It will be founded in God and never waver or lessen for all eternity. Jesus gave us a glimpse into this family bond in heaven when he answered the question of the Sadducees, who asked him about the woman with seven husbands. According to their all too human way of reasoning, the poor woman was going to have a problem in heaven. Jesus looked at them sadly and answered, Is not the reason why you go wrong, that you understand neither the Scriptures nor the power of God? For, when they rise from the dead, men and women do not marry; no, they are like the angels in heaven. In heaven, we shall be like the angels, not by nature but by our total love for God and one another. On earth we had friends, parents, and relatives who were interdependent upon one another for love and support. But in heaven our happiness is dependent only upon God, and though we will know and love our dear ones in heaven, our family ties will be enlarged to include everyone. Jesus told a crowd one day that anyone who did the will of his Father in heaven was his brother, sister, and mother. If this is true of Jesus, it is also true of us. We will be everything to everyone, with a feeling of belonging to one another. There will be no prejudice to mar the happiness of our family life in heaven, no social barriers to overcome, no feuds or jealousy to endure. Because we will all be one heart and one soul in God, we shall enjoy the most perfect cordial affection for everyone, and each one there will be as a brother, sister, mother, husband, and wife to everyone. The time of testing will be over, and we shall reap the fruits of virtue for all eternity. Right on, Mother Angelica!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2023

June 6, 2023 Reflection – Live in humility all the messages I am giving you!

Live in humility all the messages I am giving to you!   June 6, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Humility is an illusive virtue. The minute you think about humility it becomes a problem. You either take pride in your humility, or you get angry at your lack of it! Humility happens when we take our eyes off ourselves and love God! When we fall in love with Jesus and live our lives for Him, that is when humility can grow. Our Lady has spoken often about humility in her messages. She longs for us to be humble. She knows what a safety it is to actually be humble! Let’s ponder these five messages from Our Mother as we pray the Rosary, and let her words heal and strengthen our hearts in humility! September 19, 1985 “Dear children! Today I invite you to live in humility all the messages which I am giving you. Do not become arrogant living the messages and saying ‘I am living the messages.’ If you shall bear and live the messages in your heart, everyone will feel it so that words, which serve those who do not obey, will not be necessary. For you, dear children, it is necessary to live and witness by your lives. Thank you for having responded to my call.” November 25, 1988 “Dear children! I call you to prayer, to have an encounter with God in prayer. God gives Himself to you, but He wants you to answer in your own freedom to his invitation. That is why little children during the day, find yourself a special time when you could pray in peace and humility, and have this meeting with God the creator. I am with you and I intercede for you in front of God, so watch in vigil, so that every encounter in prayer be the joy of your contact with God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 25, 1996 “Dear children! Today I invite you again to put prayer in the first place in your families. Little children, when God is in the first place, then you will, in all that you do, seek the will of God. In this way your daily conversion will become easier. Little children, seek with humility that which is not in order in your hearts, and you shall understand what you have to do. Conversion will become a daily duty that you will do with joy. Little children, I am with you, I bless you all and I invite you to become my witnesses by prayer and personal conversion. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 25, 2004 “Dear children! Also today, I call you to live my messages even more strongly in humility and love so that the Holy Spirit may fill you with His grace and strength. Only in this way will you be witnesses of peace and forgiveness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” October 25, 2005 “Little children, believe, pray and love, and God will be near you. He will give you the gift of all the graces you seek from Him. I am a gift to you, because, from day to day, God permits me to be with you and to love each of you with immeasurable love. Therefore, little children, in prayer and humility, open your hearts and be witnesses of my presence. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother, thank you for inviting us to live in humility all the messages which you have given us! What a blessing it is for us! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2023

June 5, 2023 Reflection – Be carriers of peace!

Be Carriers of Peace!   June 5, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady has often asked us to become “carriers”! She has called us in her messages to be carriers of peace, carriers of her messages, carriers of the Risen Jesus, carriers of love, carriers of the Gospel in your families, carriers of God’s hope, carriers of the Good News, carriers of Light, carriers of the joy of the Risen One, carriers of Truth, etc. What does it mean to be a carrier? Merriam-Webster has this brief definition: 1. : one that carries : bearer, messenger. A carrier is someone who carries something. It could be something they own, or something they are carrying for another. But they carry it from one place to another. And the words that follow, “bearer, messenger” seem to complete the meaning. A carrier is one who bears something from one place to another, or even better a messenger is one who carries a message to someone else. Clearly a carrier is someone who holds something they have received and takes it to others. Our Lady needs us to be those who receive peace and carry it to others, who receive her messages and carry them to others, who receive the Risen Jesus and carry Him to other, those who receive the Gospel and carry it to others, those who receive hope, light, and Good News and carry it to others! This is a the work of every Christian, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Love with all we meet by carrying that love, peace, light, hope, joy, and good news to others. If we receive these things but we don’t share them with anyone, if we hide these gifts and graces, they will wither in our hands. We must carry them to all we meet! Our Lady told us: October 25, 1997 “Dear children! Also today I am with you and I call all of you to renew yourselves by living my messages. Little children, may prayer be life for you and may you be an example to others. Little children, I desire for you to become carriers of peace and of God’s joy to today’s world without peace. That is why, little children, pray, pray, pray! I am with you and I bless you with my motherly peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We need to become carriers. How can we become carriers? By living Mary’s messages, which are given to us as formation in the spiritual life, a formation that trains us to be carriers of the Kingdom! Prayer, Fasting, the Holy Scriptures, Confession, and the Holy Eucharist! The Five Stones prepare us to be carriers of the Kingdom to others. Our Lady’s messages are the key. Read and re-read them, and live them!! Then we will carry them to others through our words, our actions, and our hearts! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2023

June 2, 2023 Reflection – “I am here…”

Mirjana Soldo gazes at Our Lady during an apparition at the Blue Cross (several years ago). Such love!! I am here!   June 2, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady gave us a beautiful message 10 years ago on September 2, 2013. In that message she assures us that she is with us. She is near to us, accompanying us on our way, walking with us and praying for us that we will have the strength and courage to live the Gospel, the way of her Son. In Medjugorje, pilgrims experience the presence of Our Lady in a profound way. But it is also a subtle and quiet way. She wraps us with her mantle of love and protection and we begin to relax like a baby that is wrapped in a soft blanket and held tightly in the mother’s arms. This is what happens to us in Medjugorje. We experience the peace of a child with his mother. It is so healing!! Prayerfully read this message and let Mother wrap you in her mantle of love. She wants to comfort us and pray for us to be healed, even if we are not in Medjugorje!! September 2, 2013 “Dear children, I love you all. All of you, all of my children, all of you are in my heart. All of you have my motherly love, and I desire to lead all of you to come to know God’s joy. This is why I am calling you. I need humble apostles who, with an open heart, will accept the Word of God and help others to comprehend the meaning of their life along side God’s word. To be able to do this my children, through prayer and fasting, you must learn to listen with the heart and to learn to keep submitting yourselves. You must learn to keep rejecting everything that distances you from God’s word and to yearn only for that which draws you closer to it. Do not be afraid. I am here. You are not alone. I am imploring the Holy Spirit to renew and strengthen you. I am imploring the Holy Spirit that, as you help others, you too may be healed. I am imploring Him that, through Him, you may be God’s children and my apostles.” May it be so, may we be God’s children and Mother Mary’s apostles! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! May 31, 2023 Reflection – The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary!   May 31, 2023 The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Dear Family of Mary! Today we celebrate the Second Joyful Mystery of the Rosary, that blessed day when Our Lady traveled to the Hill Country to visit her kinswoman, Elizabeth! The Angel Gabriel had told Mary that Elizabeth had conceived in her old age, and that she was in the sixth month. “For nothing is impossible for God!” This great news was a confirmation for Mary of her own call to be the Mother of Jesus. These two courageous women met and the Holy Spirit fell upon them in power and great joy!! Little St. John the Baptist was also anointed with the Holy Spirit and leaped for joy!! We should bask in the joy of this event, and let the Holy Spirit fall upon us as well! Read these anointed words from the Luke’s Gospel, and receive the Holy Spirit! Luke 1:39-56 Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.” And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;/ my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,/ for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant./ From this day all generations will call me blessed:/ the Almighty has done great things for me,/ and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him/ in every generation./ He has shown the strength of his arm,/ he has scattered the proud in their conceit./ He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,/ and has lifted up the lowly./ He has filled the hungry with good things,/ and the rich he has sent away empty./ He has come to the help of his servant Israel/ for he has remembered his promise of mercy,/ the promise he made to our fathers,/ to Abraham and his children for ever.” Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home. Come Holy Spirit!!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2023

May 30, 2023 Reflection – I am calling you to go into nature…

“I am calling you to go into nature…” May 30, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! “Dear children! I am calling you to go into nature and to pray for the Most High to speak to your heart and that you may feel the power of the Holy Spirit so as to witness the love which God has for every creature. I am with you and intercede for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (May 25, 2023) Our Lady has often spoken about the importance of going out into nature, of spending time in the natural world that God created for us. We live in a scientific age, and we may think that all the trees and plants and animals evolved randomly. But we believe that God designed all Creation for His own glory and to provide for us. It is really important that we have the right understanding of creation. With that right understanding, we will see God’s love everywhere, and place all our trust in Him!! Here is a chapter from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This is a good way to begin to understand the glory and providence of creation. Nature will speak about God to us!! (Here is the link to the chapter from the Vatican Website if that is easier for you to read. Also the footnotes will be available: https://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P1A.HTM THE VISIBLE WORLD 337 God himself created the visible world in all its richness, diversity and order. Scripture presents the work of the Creator symbolically as a succession of six days of divine “work”, concluded by the “rest” of the seventh day.204 On the subject of creation, the sacred text teaches the truths revealed by God for our salvation,205 permitting us to “recognize the inner nature, the value and the ordering of the whole of creation to the praise of God.”206 338 Nothing exists that does not owe its existence to God the Creator. the world began when God’s word drew it out of nothingness; all existent beings, all of nature, and all human history are rooted in this primordial event, the very genesis by which the world was constituted and time begun.207 339 Each creature possesses its own particular goodness and perfection. For each one of the works of the “six days” it is said: “and God saw that it was good.” “By the very nature of creation, material being is endowed with its own stability, truth and excellence, its own order and laws.”208 Each of the various creatures, willed in its own being, reflects in its own way a ray of God’s infinite wisdom and goodness. Man must therefore respect the particular goodness of every creature, to avoid any disordered use of things which would be in contempt of the Creator and would bring disastrous consequences for human beings and their environment. 340 God wills the interdependence of creatures. the sun and the moon, the cedar and the little flower, the eagle and the sparrow: the spectacle of their countless diversities and inequalities tells us that no creature is self-sufficient. Creatures exist only in dependence on each other, to complete each other, in the service of each other. 341 The beauty of the universe: the order and harmony of the created world results from the diversity of beings and from the relationships which exist among them. Man discovers them progressively as the laws of nature. They call forth the admiration of scholars. the beauty of creation reflects the infinite beauty of the Creator and ought to inspire the respect and submission of man’s intellect and will. 342 The hierarchy of creatures is expressed by the order of the “six days”, from the less perfect to the more perfect. God loves all his creatures209 and takes care of each one, even the sparrow. Nevertheless, Jesus said: “You are of more value than many sparrows”, or again: “of how much more value is a man than a sheep!”210 343 Man is the summit of the Creator’s work, as the inspired account expresses by clearly distinguishing the creation of man from that of the other creatures.211 344 There is a solidarity among all creatures arising from the fact that all have the same Creator and are all ordered to his glory: May you be praised, O Lord, in all your creatures, especially brother sun, by whom you give us light for the day; he is beautiful, radiating great splendor, and offering us a symbol of you, the Most High. . . May you be praised, my Lord, for sister water, who is very useful and humble, precious and chaste. May you be praised, my Lord, for sister earth, our mother, who bears and feeds us, and produces the variety of fruits and dappled flowers and grasses. . . Praise and bless my Lord, give thanks and serve him in all humility.212 345 The sabbath – the end of the work of the six days. the sacred text says that “on the seventh day God finished his work which he had done”, that the “heavens and the earth were finished”, and that God “rested” on this day and sanctified and blessed it.213 These inspired words are rich in profitable instruction: 346 In creation God laid a foundation and established laws that remain firm, on which the believer can rely with confidence, for they are the sign and pledge of the unshakeable faithfulness of God’s covenant.214 For his part man must remain faithful to this foundation, and respect the laws which the Creator has written into it. 347 Creation was fashioned with a view to the sabbath and therefore for the worship and adoration of God. Worship is inscribed in the order of creation.215 As the rule of St. Benedict says, nothing should take precedence over “the work of God”, that is, solemn worship.216 This indicates the right order of human concerns. 348 The sabbath is at the heart of Israel’s law. To keep the commandments is to correspond to the wisdom and the will of God as expressed in his work of creation. 349 The eighth day. But for us a new day has dawned: the day of Christ’s Resurrection. the seventh day completes the first creation. the eighth day begins the new creation. Thus, the work of creation culminates in the greater work of redemption. the first creation finds its meaning and its summit in the new creation in Christ, the splendor of which surpasses tat of the first creation.217 “I am calling you to go into nature and to pray for the Most High to speak to your heart and that you may feel the power of the Holy Spirit” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! May 29, 2023 Reflection – Mary, Mother of the Church

The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church May 29, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus gave us His Mother as He died on the cross. This final act shows us His total love for us. He brought us into His family by giving us His Mother as our Mother. We can only be in awe at such a gift!! Here is that moment, that gift, from the Gospel of John: But standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Mag’dalene. When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. (John19: 25-27) On this feast day we celebrate the gift of Mary as our Mother, as the Mother of the whole church. She spoke to us about her role as Mother of the Church in this message. Let’s take in her words today, and let them mold us and bless us!: June 2, 2016 “Dear children, as the Mother of the Church, as your mother, I am smiling as I look at you: how you are coming to me, how you are gathering around me, how you are seeking me. My comings among you are proof of how much Heaven loves you. They indicate to you the way to eternal life, to salvation. My apostles, you who strive to have a pure heart and to have my Son in it, you are on the good way. You who are seeking my Son are seeking the good way. He left many signs of His love. He left hope. It is easy to find Him if you are ready for sacrifice and penance – if you have patience, mercy and love for your neighbors. Many of my children do not see and do not hear. They do not accept my words and my work yet through me, my Son calls everyone. His Spirit illuminates all of my children in the light of the Heavenly Father, in the unity of Heaven and Earth, in mutual love – because love invokes love and makes works more important than words. Therefore, my apostles, pray for your Church, love it and do works of love. No matter how betrayed or wounded, it is here because it comes from the Heavenly Father. Pray for your shepherds so that in them you may see the greatness of the love of my Son. Thank you.” May we cherish the Catholic Church, our Mother here on earth. No matter the trials we face, Jesus will stand by His Church, and Mary with Him. We are in good hands! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c)Mary TV 2023
