The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary September 8, 2025 Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Dear Family of Mary! Today we celebrate our Heavenly Mother’s Earthly Birthday!! And what a celebration it should be!! She, through the prevenient grace coming from Jesus’ death on the cross, was conceived without sin, the second Eve, who would never sin, and make it possible for Jesus to be conceived in her womb for us all!!! Wow!! I am presenting a text written by Fr. Paul Scalia on Our Lady’s conception and birth. It came from the Magnificat, Sept. 2025. It is most beautiful. We need to have such beauty in our minds these days!! I will arrange the text so that we can ponder it better: The Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary invokes our Lady as “Virgin most renowned.” It is of course a fair description—most renowned because she alone is both Virgin and Mother; most renowned because through her virginity she became the Mother of God; most renowned as she herself foretold: For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. The Latin for this invocation brings out another dimension: Virgo praedicanda—literally, “Virgin needing to be proclaimed”—not that she is not already known and renowned, but that she still needs to be made known. And this is so for one simple reason: Mary is the full flowering of the grace of Jesus Christ. To know her is to know what he has accomplished, what his victory has won. She shows in a singular manner what all of us are called to become…. In Mary we find the glorious truth that God created one of us without sin—that he became her Son, was carried in her womb, rested in her lap, obeyed her words…and that he assumed her body and soul to himself…. She is the realization of all that he has promised us. The singular graces she received reveal what God intends to accomplish for all…. By keeping her free from sin, he shows that he desires to deliver all of us from sin and make us full of grace—defined by grace, as she was. In her becoming the Mother of God, we learn that he desires us to conceive him in our thoughts and bring him forth by our words and actions. He makes her virginity fruitful because he intends our souls likewise to be pure and fruitful. And he assumes her body and soul into heaven because he desires to raise our bodies to the same glory. In proclaiming Mary we make known not only Christ’s masterpiece of grace but also what he desires to accomplish in us. Little children, with your lives witness faith…   September 1, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady calls us to listen to her call in this message. Of course, we are trying to listen to her every word. But it is not as easy as it sounds. Listening to Our Lady involves using our inner ears, those ears that listen to the Holy Spirit and always seek to go deeper into the meaining of her words. We can try to go deeper with this message. If we open our hearts, and listen to her call, the message will come alive for us! We need to wait on the Holy Spirit as we read the message and let Him illuminate it for us. Then we will begin to understand Her words for each one of us, according to God’s plan. Mother Mary, help us to hear your call in this message so that we can become your extended hands! January 25, 2012  “Dear children! Sacrifice your lives….   August 29, 2025 The Passion of St. John the Baptist Dear Family of Mary! Many years ago Our Lady gave us a very strong message, calling us to “complete surrender to God”. I feel that she would also like to say these sames words to us today. Here is that message: February 25, 1988 “Dear children! Today again I am calling you to prayer to complete surrender to God. You know that I love you and am coming here out of love so I could show you the path to peace and salvation for your souls. I want you to obey me and not permit satan to seduce you. Dear children, satan is very strong and, therefore, I ask you to dedicate your prayers to me so that those who are under his influence can be saved. Give witness by your life. Sacrifice your lives for the salvation of the world… I am with you, and I am grateful to you, but in heaven you shall receive the Father’s reward which He has promised to you. Therefore, dear children, do not be afraid. If you pray, satan cannot injure you even a little bit because you are God’s children and He is watching over you. Pray and let the rosary always be in your hand as a sign to satan that you belong to me. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Our Lady needs us to stand up for the good. She needs us to witness our faith without fear by our lives, so that those who are lost might find their way to safety. She asked us on Monday to “Fast, sacrifice yourselves, love out of love for God Who created you, and be, little children, my extended hands to this world that has not come to know the God of love.” This call is the same today as it was in 1988. You are chosen…   August 28, 2025 St. Augustine Dear Family of Mary! Sometimes I like to parse out the sentences in a message from Our Lady, to let the words present themselves to me, a litle at a time. It is a sort of contemplative approach to the message. Dear Children!   August 27, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! I like to take a couple of days to just let the new message settle in my heart. It seems better to just hear the words, and let them come to rest in my mind, my heart, and my soul. Then I can start to think about the message. So I want to offer this approach to you as well. The Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary August 22, 2025 The Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary Dear Family of Mary! On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Pope Leo XIV issued this sincere call: Addressing the faithful gathered in the Paul VI Hall for his weekly General Audience, Pope Leo XIV turned his thoughts once more to the world’s many conflict zones. In recalling the upcoming liturgical commemoration of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is celebrated on Friday, 22 August, the Pope invited the faithful to celebrate that day by praying and fasting for peace. “Mary is the Mother of the faithful here on earth and is remembered as the Queen of Peace,” the Pope said. As our world continues to be wounded by wars – in the Holy Land, in Ukraine, and in other parts of the world – the Pope invited all the faithful to take part in “a day of prayer and fasting” for all those who suffer because of war, “imploring the Lord to grant us peace and justice, and to wipe away the tears of those who suffer because of ongoing armed conflicts.” “May Mary, Queen of Peace, intercede so that peoples may find the path of peace,” he added. https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2025-08/pope-calls-for-day-of-prayer-and-fasting-for-peace.html Pope Leo XIV mentioned twice the title “Queen of Peace” in his urgent appeal for prayer and fasting. On this day, August 22, 2025, let us respond to his call to prayer and fasting, and turn to Our Lady, the Queen of Peace in Medjugorje to pray with her for this most important intention – Peace! Our Lady is the Queen of Peace! She told us so in Medjugorje. Here are two such messages: Thursday, August 6, 1981 “I am the Queen of Peace.” April 25, 2009 “Dear children! Today I call you all to pray for peace and to witness it in your families so that peace may become the highest treasure on this peaceless earth. I am your Queen of Peace and your mother. I desire to lead you on the way of peace, which comes only from God. Therefore, pray, pray, pray. The riches of the Holy Eucharist in sacrifice and sacrament.   August 21, 2025 Saint Pius X Dear Family of Mary! Today is the Memorial of Saint Pius X, who reigned as Pope from 1903 to 1914. Due to the confusion in the Church that was rampant during his time, Pope Pius X focused on restoring truth in the hearts of the faithful. He wrote the encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis, also known as “Feeding the Lord’s Flock,” which was published in 1907. This encyclical addressed the dangers of Modernism within the Catholic Church, outlining its tenets and calling for its eradication. He also wrote a “question and answer” Catechism which was a powerful guide and protection to the faithful during that time of confusion. He had a deep devotion to the Eucharist, and helped the faithful to re-focus on Jesus, present for them in this Sacrament. We need the intercession of St. Pius today, for we live in similar times! Our Lady is doing a very similar work. She has consistenly directed us to her Son, especially present in the Eucharist. Here is one such message she gave to us: June 2, 2012 “Dear children, I am continuously among you because, with my endless love, I desire to show you the door of Heaven. I desire to tell you how it is opened: through goodness, mercy, love and peace – through my Son. Therefore, my children, do not waste time on vanities. Only knowledge of the love of my Son can save you. Through that salvific love and the Holy Spirit He chose me and I, together with Him, am choosing you to be apostles of His love and will. My children, great is the responsibility upon you. I desire that by your example you help sinners regain their sight, enrich their poor souls and bring them back into my embrace. Therefore, pray, pray, fast and confess regularly. If receiving my Son in the Eucharist is the center of your life then do not be afraid, you can do everything. I am with you. Every day I pray for the shepherds and I expect the same of you. Because, my children, without their guidance and strengthening through their blessing, you cannot do it. Thank you.” May we put Jesus in the Eucharist at the center of our lives, and then live without fear the true faith for all to see!! Here is a novena prayer to St. Pius X that we could pray today! Novena Prayer to St. Pius X: Glorious Pope of the Eucharist, St. Pius X, you sought to restore all things in Christ. Obtain for me a true love of Jesus so that I may live only for him. Help me to acquire a lively fervor and a sincere will to strive for sanctity of life, and that I may avail myself of the riches of the Holy Eucharist in sacrifice and sacrament. By your love for Mary, Mother and Queen of all, inflame my heart with tender devotion to her. Blessed model of the priesthood, obtain for us holy, dedicated priests, and increase vocations to the religious life. Dispel confusion and hatred and anxiety, and incline our hearts to peace and concord, so that all nations will place themselves under the sweet reign of Christ. Amen. (Mention your intention here…).
