As we await the Monthly Message   January 24, 2023 St. Francis de Sales Dear Family of Mary! Tomorrow we will receive a new message from Our Mother, Mary, the Queen of Peace. As we wait for her message, let’s open our hearts to the message we received on Christmas Day!! “Dear children! Today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, that you may be His peace and a reflection of clarity and joy of Heaven. Pray, little children, to be open to receive peace because many hearts are closed to the call of the light which changes hearts. I am with you and am praying for you to open yourselves to receive the King of peace, Who fills your hearts with warmth and blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (December 25, 2022) Mother Mary, we thank you for this beautiful message which you gave to us on Christmas Day. We thank you for carrying Jesus to us. We thank you for calling us to be His peace, and a reflection of clarity and joy of Heaven. We need your help to do these things. Stay near us Mother. We know that many hearts are closed to peace. They are afraid of the future, and they are fearful of the light that could change their hearts. These hearts are in such pain and fear. Help us to receive the King of Peace, and then give Him to those hearts locked in fear, that they may be filled with warmth and blessings. We want only the good for everyone. Listen to my messages!   January 23, 2023 St. Vincent. St. Marianne Cope Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn (USA) Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady has given us messages for all these many years. She gives them as guideposts for our spiritual and temporal lives. Are we listening? She told us to listen to her messages in these five messages. Let’s pray about it with her: March 21, 1985 “Dear children! I wish to keep on giving messages and therefore today I call you to live and accept my messages! Dear children, I love you and in a special way I have chosen this parish, one more dear to me than the others, in which I have gladly remained when the Almighty sent me. Therefore I call on you; accept me, dear children, that it might go well with you. Listen to my messages! Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 1985 “Dear children! I desire to lead you, but you do not wish to listen to my messages. Today I am calling you to listen to the messages and then you will be able to live everything which God tells me to convey to you. Open yourselves to God and God will work through you and keep on giving you everything you need. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 8, 1987 “Dear children! I desire to thank you for every response to the messages. Especially, dear children, thank you for all the sacrifices and prayers which you have presented to me. Dear children, I desire to keep on giving you still further messages, only not every Thursday, dear children, but on each 25th in the month. The time has come when what my Lord desired has been fulfilled. Now I will give you less messages, but I am still with you. Therefore, dear children, I beseech you, listen to my messages and live them, so I can guide you. Dear children, thank you for having responded to my call.” June 25, 2008 “Dear children! Also today, with great joy in my heart, I call you to follow me and to listen to my messages. Be joyful carriers of peace and love in this peaceless world. I am with you and I bless you all with my Son Jesus, the King of Peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 18, 2003 “Dear children! Particularly at this holy time of penance and prayer, I call you to make a choice. God gave you free will to choose life or death. Listen to my messages with the heart that you may become cognizant of what you are to do and how you will find the way to life. My children, without God you can do nothing; do not forget this even for a single moment. For, what are you and what will you be on earth, when you will return to it again. Righteousness will go before Him!   January 20, 2023 Sts. Sebastian and Fabian Dear Family of Mary! This section of Psalm 85 is one of the most beautiful pronouncements of faith in the Scriptures: Psalm 85: 7-13 Show us Thy steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us Thy salvation. Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints, to those who turn to Him in their hearts. Surely His salvation is at hand for those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other. Faithfulness will spring up from the ground, and righteousness will look down from the sky. Yea, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him, and make His footsteps a way. Isn’t this Psalm beautiful!! “Let me hear what God the Lord will speak!” Yes, please! May we hear what the Lord will say!! He will say, “Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet!” He will tell us that “Faithfulness will spring up from the ground!” He will show us that “Righteousness will go before Him.” Lord, I love it when you speak to me like this!!! Sometimes Our Lady’s messages sound a bit like Psalm 85. She can say things in such a way that we feel lifted up to the Lord in prayer! I think this message is like that. Let’s pray it together: January 2, 2020 “Dear children, I know that I am present in your lives and in your hearts. I feel your love, I hear your prayers and direct them to my Son. But, my children, according to motherly love, I desire to be in the lives of all of my children. I desire to gather all of my children around me, beneath my motherly mantle. This is why I am inviting you and calling you, apostles of my love, to help me. My children, my Son pronounced the words of the ‘Our Father’- Our Father, [you] who are everywhere and in our hearts – because He desires to teach you to pray with words and feelings. He desires for you to always be better, to live merciful love which is prayer and limitless sacrifice for others. My children, give to my Son love for your neighbors, give words of consolation, compassion and acts of justice to your neighbors. Everything that you give to others, apostles of my love, my Son accepts as a gift. I am also with you, because my Son desires for my love, as a ray of light, to bring your souls to life; for me to help you in the search for peace and eternal happiness. Therefore, my children, love one another, be united through my Son, be children of God who all together, with full, open and pure heart, pronounce the ‘Our Father’. And do not be afraid! Jesus is here beside you…   January 19, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady longs for us to become firmly attached to her Son, Jesus. She wants us to cling to Jesus. He is Life! We need Him more than we need oxygen or food! Jesus is Life. Let Our Lady’s words fill us with this truth! Jesus is here with us, and does not leave us alone. December 25, 2020 (Through Jakov Colo) “Dear children, also today Jesus is here beside you, even when you think that you are alone and that light does not exist in your life. He is here and has never left you or distanced Himself from you. The light of His birth illuminates this world and your life. His Heart is always open towards you, to receive your every pain, every trial, fear and need. His arms are extended towards you, that as a father, He may embrace you and tell you how important you are for Him, how much He loves you and cares for His children. Children, is your heart open towards Jesus? Have you completely surrendered your life into His hands? Have you accepted Jesus as your father, to whom you can always turn and in Him find consolation and everything you need to live true faith? That is why, my children, surrender your hearts to Jesus and permit Him to begin to rule your lives, because only in this way, will you accept the present and be able to face the world in which you live today. With Jesus, every fear, suffering and pain disappear, because your heart accepts His will and everything that comes into your life. Jesus will give you the faith to accept everything and nothing will distance you from Him — because He firmly holds you by the hand and does not permit for you to distance and lose yourselves in difficult moments — because He has become the Lord of your life. Do good! January 18, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! The Gospel for today is so frustrating. How could the Pharisees be so blind? So clueless? Jesus did a miracle for the man with the withered hand. But they couldn’t see it: “Jesus entered the synagogue. There was a man there who had a withered hand. They watched Jesus closely to see if he would cure him on the sabbath so that they might accuse him. He said to the man with the withered hand, “Come up here before us.” Then he said to the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?” But they remained silent. Looking around at them with anger and grieved at their hardness of heart, Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out and his hand was restored. The Pharisees went out and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him to put him to death.” Mark 3:1-6 Jesus was stealing their thunder. And they wanted to hang on to their power and prestige at any cost. It is easy to get mad at the Pharisees. But we all need to watch out for this kind of blindness. Not seeing the good that others do. And not doing the good that we could be doing, which is even worse! Our Lady calls us to “do good!” Do the good for others. Be part of the solution in this world of troubles. It isn’t complicated. Just do good! Here are five more messages for the rosary! Our Lady’s words are such a help for us in our lives of faith!! We can learn to love and to do the good! November 25, 1995 “Dear Children! Today I invite you that each of you begin again to love, in the first place, God who saved and redeemed each of you, and then brothers and sisters in your proximity. Without love, little children, you cannot grow in holiness and cannot do good deeds. Therefore, little children, pray without ceasing that God reveals His love to you. I have invited all of you to unite yourselves with me and to love. Today I am with you and invite you to discover love in your hearts and in the families. For God to live in your hearts, you must love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” November 25, 1996 “Dear children! Today, again, I invite you to pray, so that through prayer, fasting and small sacrifices you may prepare yourselves for the coming of Jesus. May this time, little children, be a time of grace for you. Use every moment and do good, for only in this way will you feel the birth of Jesus in your hearts. If with your life you give an example and become a sign of God’s love, joy will prevail in the hearts of men. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 25, 2008 “Dear children! Also today, I call all of you to grow in God’s love as a flower which feels the warm rays of spring. In this way, also you, little children, grow in God’s love and carry it to all those who are far from God. Seek God’s will and do good to those whom God has put on your way, and be light and joy. Thank you for having responded to my call.” September 25, 2022 “Dear children! Pray that the Holy Spirit may enlighten you that you be joyful seekers of God and witnesses of love without bounds. I am with you, little children, and, anew, I am calling all of you: take courage and bear witness to the good works that God is doing in and through you. Be joyful in God. Do good to your neighbor so that it will be good for you on earth and pray for peace, which is threatened because Satan wants war and peacelessness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 18, 2001 “Dear children! Today I call you to love and mercy. Give love to each other as your Father gives it to you. Be merciful (pause) – with the heart… Do good works, not permitting them to wait for you too long. The one who prays is not afraid of the future…   January 17, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! I have a job for us today. We are going to pray a Rosary in which we listen to Our Lady speak to us about our fears and about God’s peace. I have 5 messages in which Our Lady helps us to reject fear and embrace peace. We can read one before each decade and let her words form us. We need to become her children of peace!! The Agony in the Garden: June 25, 2000 “Dear children! Today I call you to prayer. The one who prays is not afraid of the future. Little children do not forget, I am with you and I love you all. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Scourging at the Pillar: January 25, 2001 “Dear children! Today I call you to renew prayer and fasting with even greater enthusiasm until prayer becomes a joy for you. Little children, the one who prays is not afraid of the future and the one who fasts is not afraid of evil. Once again, I repeat to you: only through prayer and fasting also wars can be stopped – wars of your unbelief and fear for the future. I am with you and am teaching you little children: your peace and hope are in God. That is why draw closer to God and put Him in the first place in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Crowning with Thorns: March 25, 2021 “Dear children! Also, today I am with you to tell you: Little children, he who prays does not fear the future and does not lose hope. You are chosen to carry joy and peace, because you are mine. I have come here with the name ‘Queen of Peace’ because the devil wants peacelessness and war, he wants to fill your heart with fear of the future – but the future is God’s. That is why, be humble and pray, and surrender everything into the hands of the Most High Who created you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Carrying of the Cross: October 25, 2021 “Dear children! Return to prayer because who prays is not afraid of the future; who prays is open to life and respects the life of others; who prays, little children, feels the freedom of the children of God and in joy of heart serves for the good for his brother-man. Because God is love and freedom, therefore, little children, when they want to put you in bonds and to use you, it is not from God. Because God loves and gives His peace to every creature; and that is why He sent me to you to help you to grow in holiness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus: December 2, 2011 “Dear children; As a mother I am with you so that with my love, prayer and example I may help you to become a seed of the future, a seed that will grow into a firm tree and spread its branches throughout the world. For you to become a seed of the future, a seed of love, implore the Father to forgive you your omissions up to now. My children, only a pure heart, unburdened by sin, can open itself and only honest eyes can see the way by which I desire to lead you. When you become aware of this, you will become aware of the love of God, it will be given (as a gift) to you. Then you will give it (as a gift) to others as a seed of love. Thank you.” Thank you, Mother, for teaching us about Peace, the true Peace that comes from your Son. May we embrace it and live it today and every day in our future. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! With a Rosary in hand…   January 16, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! As we move into Ordinary Time, we hear the stories of the public life of Jesus. We hear how He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, even raised the dead in town after town. Jesus carried the Light of His Love to those in need. But now, He needs us to carry Him to those in need. We need to carry Jesus within us, in our hearts to all those we meet. He relies on us. How else will He be able to reach out to the broken ones of our day? Our Lady says to us: March 2, 2012  “Dear children; Through the immeasurable love of God I am coming among you and I am persistently calling you into the arms of my Son. With a motherly heart I am imploring you, my children, but I am also repeatedly warning you, that concern for those who have not come to know my Son be in the first place for you. Do not permit that by looking at you and your life, they are not overcome by a desire to come to know Him. Pray to the Holy Spirit for my Son to be impressed within you. Pray that you can be apostles of the divine light in this time of darkness and hopelessness. This is a time of your trial. With a rosary in hand and love in the heart set out with me. I am leading you towards Easter in my Son. Pray for those whom my Son has chosen that they can always live through Him and in Him, the High Priest. Thank you.” Our Lady calls us to be her apostles, apostles of the Divine Light! Jesus is the Divine Light!! She needs us to carry the light of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, to others who are still in darkness. We don’t need a master’s degree in theology to do this. Let’s open up the roof! January 13, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Today’s Gospel reading is one of my favorites! Jesus comes home to Capernaum, after ministering elsewhere, and the people stampede the house to get close to Him. Impossible to meet Jesus? Not if you have resourceful friends!! Mark2:1-12 When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days, it became known that he was at home. Many gathered together so that there was no longer room for them, not even around the door, and he preached the word to them. They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd, they opened up the roof above him. After they had broken through, they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to him, “Child, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there asking themselves, “Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming. Who but God alone can forgive sins?” Jesus immediately knew in his mind what they were thinking to themselves, so he said, “Why are you thinking such things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, pick up your mat and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth”—he said to the paralytic, “I say to you, rise, pick up your mat, and go home.” He rose, picked up his mat at once, and went away in the sight of everyone. They were all astounded and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this.” We marvel at the courage of the four men who carried their friend up on to the roof, opened up the roof, and then lowered him down in the midst of the house! And I rejoice at the grace made available to the paralytic! But for me it is a deep reminder that I need to work much harder at getting close to Jesus. In fact, I probably need someone to do the work for me, just like the paralytic did!! Our Lady is very much like those four men who carried the paralytic to Jesus. She carries each of us to Jesus, but she needs our cooperation. Here are two messages in which she asks us to allow her to take us to Jesus: May 25, 1992 “Dear children! Today also I invite you to prayer, so that through prayer you come still nearer to God. I am with you and I desire to lead you on the path to salvation that Jesus gives you. From day to day, I am nearer to you although you are not aware of it and you do not want to admit that you are only linked to me in a small way with your few prayers. When trials and problems arise, you say, ‘O God! O Mother! Where are you?’ As for me, I only wait for your ‘Yes’ to present to Jesus for Him to fill you with His grace. That is why, once more, please accept my call and start to pray in a new way until prayer becomes joy to you. Then you will discover that God is all-powerful in your daily life. I am with you and I am waiting for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 1988 “Dear children! Today again I am calling you to complete conversion, which is difficult for those who have not chosen God. God can give you everything that you seek from Him. But you seek God only when sicknesses, problems and difficulties come to you and you think that God is far from you and is not listening and does not hear your prayers. No, dear children, that is not the truth. When you are far from God, you cannot receive graces because you do not seek them with a firm faith. Day by day, I am praying for you, and I want to draw you ever more near to God, but I cannot if you don’t want it. Therefore, dear children put your life in God’s hands. I bless you all. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Mother, we want you to bring me to your Son. Please help me to be as dependent upon you as that paralytic was to the four men who carried him to Jesus. Your refuge will be the Heart of my Son, Jesus!   January 12, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Today I present to you five messages from Our Lady of Medjugorje. In each message Our Lady recognizes that we need a place of safety, a refuge in these evil days. We all feel the danger around us. We probably have different ways of coping with it. But Our Lady makes it clear that she has been sent to help us find refuge. And she guides us to that safety, that refuge in her messages. May we take time today to pray over these five messages. Use them as meditations between the decades of your Rosaries. Let them sink in. Our Lady’s words are inspired by the Holy Spirit. They are fruitful when we take them to prayer: January 25, 2012 “Dear children! With joy, also today I call you to open your hearts and to listen to my call. Anew, I desire to draw you closer to my Immaculate Heart, where you will find refuge and peace. Open yourselves to prayer, until it becomes a joy for you. Through prayer, the Most High will give you an abundance of grace and you will become my extended hands in this restless world which longs for peace. Little children, with your lives witness faith and pray that faith may grow day by day in your hearts. I am with you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 2018 “Dear children! God called me to lead you to Him because He is your strength. That is why I am calling you to pray to Him and to trust in Him, because He is your refuge from every evil that lurks and carries souls far from the grace and joy to which you are all called. Little children, live Heaven here on earth so that it will be good for you; and may the commandments of God be a light on your way. I am with you and I love you all with my motherly love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 2019 “Dear children! My call for you is prayer. May prayer be a joy for you and a wreath which binds you to God. Little children, trials will come and you will not be strong, and sin will reign but, if you are mine, you will win, because your refuge will be the Heart of my Son Jesus. Therefore, little children, return to prayer until prayer becomes life for you in the day and the night. Thank you for having responded to my call.” October 25, 2020 “Dear children, At this time, I am calling you to return to God and to prayer. Invoke the help of all the saints, for them to be an example and a help to you. Satan is strong and is fighting to draw all the more hearts to himself. He wants war and hatred. That is why I am with you for this long, to lead you to the way of salvation, to Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Little children, return to the love for God and He will be your strength and refuge. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 2, 2014 “Dear children, with a motherly love I desire to help you with your life of prayer and penance to be a sincere attempt at drawing closer to my Son and His divine light – that you may know how to separate yourselves from sin. Every prayer, every Mass and every fasting is an attempt at drawing closer to my Son, a reminder of His glory and a refuge from sin – it is a way to a renewed union of the good Father and His children.. Therefore, my dear children, with hearts open and full of love, cry out the name of the Heavenly Father that He may illuminate you with the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit you will become a spring of God’s love. All those who do not know my Son, all those thirsting for the love and peace of my Son, will drink from this spring. Thank you. Pray for your shepherds. I pray for them and I desire that they may always feel the blessing of my motherly hands and the support of my motherly heart.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Franjo Zubac has been witness to Jesus and Mary since the beginning of the apparitions! We are all called to witness!!   January 11, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, RSV-CE) As I prayed about what to share today, I just heard the word, “witness”! I looked in Our Lady’s messages and discovered that she has mentioned witnessing at least 141 times. Jesus told his disciples that they would be His witnesses “to the end of the earth!” Our Lady realizes that the only way to help others to meet Jesus is for us to witness to them all that Jesus has done for us! We have received the love and forgiveness of Jesus, and so we must share it with others who need it just like we do. Who else will tell them? Here is a beautiful message from Our Lady about witnessing: September 25, 2011 “Dear children! I call you, for this time to be for all of you, a time of witnessing. You, who live in the love of God and have experienced His gifts, witness them with your words and life that they may be for the joy and encouragement to others in faith. I am with you and incessantly intercede before God for all of you that your faith may always be alive and joyful, and in the love of God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Jesus called his disciples to witness to everyone, even to the ends of the earth! He needs us to do the same in our day. He has sent Our Lady to draw us close to Him, and we have received so much grace!! Now it is time for us to witness as the early disciples did. Let’s shout it to the roof tops! Jesus and Mary are with us, loving us, healing us, guiding us, and blessing us!!
