January 10, 2023 Reflection – “Listen to me!”

Listen to me!   January 10, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! As we begin Ordinary Time in this Liturgical Year, I believe that Our Lady is calling to us, “Listen to me!” She wants to lead us into the future. She had been sent by God to be our Champion General! Let’s pray over her words every day! Let’s listen to her call, to her messages with new and open ears! Today, let’s pray over her message from October 2, 2018: “Dear children, I am calling you to be courageous and to not grow weary, because even the smallest good – the smallest sign of love – conquers evil which is all the more visible. My children, listen to me so that good may overcome, so that you may come to know the love of my Son. This is the greatest happiness – the hands of my Son that embrace, of Him who loves the soul, of Him who has given Himself for you and is always giving Himself anew in the Eucharist, of Him who has the words of eternal life. To come to know His love, to follow in His footsteps, means to have a wealth of spirituality. This is the wealth which gives good feelings and sees love and goodness everywhere. Apostles of my love, my children, be like the rays of the sun which with the warmth of my Son’s love warm everyone around them. My children, the world needs apostles of love; the world needs much prayer, but prayer spoken with the heart and the soul and not only pronounced with the lips. My children, long for holiness but in humility, in the humility which permits my Son to do that which He desires through you. My children, your prayers, your words, thoughts and actions – all of this either opens or closes the doors to the Kingdom of Heaven for you. My Son showed you the way and gave you hope, and I am consoling and encouraging you because, my children, I had come to know pain, but I had faith and hope. Now I have the reward of life in the Kingdom of my Son. Therefore, listen to me, have courage and do not grow weary. Thank you.” (10/2/2018) In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

January 9, 2023 Reflection – The Baptism of the Lord!

The Baptism of the Lord!   January 9, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Today we remember how Jesus humbled himself to be baptized by His cousin, John the Baptist. This was a gesture of repentance and cleansing. Jesus did not need either one. But He chose to be baptized by John, in order to show us the way home to the Father. Only through repentance which is the turning away from sin, and cleansing which is the action of God the Father, as He forgives us, can we be brought to eternal life. Jesus leads us into that basic relationship with His Father by His example. So much love!! So much humility and service! Matthew wrote: Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. John tried to prevent him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and yet you are coming to me?” Jesus said to him in reply, “Allow it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed him. After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened for him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon him. And a voice came from the heavens, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”  (Mt 3:13-17) Jesus shows us the way to the Father. If we follow Him, stay close to Him, imitate Him, and give Him permission to guide us, we will discover the wonder of the Father’s love! Our Lady is with us to help us to discover and choose that same relationship with the Father, by helping us to encounter her Son in prayer. She speaks to us about our baptism and how we should recognize the great gift we have been given in Baptism. Here are two message that show us the way: March 25, 2018 “Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light. Pray, little children, confess and begin a new life in grace. Decide for God and He will lead you towards holiness; and the cross will be a sign of victory and hope for you. Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God’s plan. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 2011 “Dear children! Also today, in my arms I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to give you His peace. Pray, little children, and witness so that in every heart, not human but God’s peace may prevail, which no one can destroy. It is that peace in the heart which God gives to those whom He loves. By your baptism you are all, in a special way called and loved, therefore witness and pray that you may be my extended hands to this world which yearns for God and peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” We, the Baptized, have been given everything! We are priest, prophet and king! We are called and loved, and we are part of God’s plan. If we stay close to Jesus, He will lead us in that plan for the salvation of many! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

January 6, 2023 Reflection – We are all Magi following the Star!

We are all Magi following the Star!   January 6, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! On Sunday, January 8, we will celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord, when the Magi followed a star to Bethlehem and discovered Jesus! Our Gospel for this Sunday: When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.” When King Herod heard this, he was greatly troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Assembling all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it has been written through the prophet: And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; since from you shall come a ruler, who is to shepherd my people Israel.” Then Herod called the magi secretly and ascertained from them the time of the star’s appearance. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search diligently for the child. When you have found him, bring me word, that I too may go and do him homage.” After their audience with the king they set out. And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was. They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their country by another way.  (Mt 2:1-12) Each one of us has been personally led to Bethlehem by the Father, where we discover His Son, the King of the Jews, and our King. We each have seen a star. It may not be a physical star, but it is indeed a light that fills our hearts and minds with hope and peace, and leads us to Jesus. We are so blessed to have found Him! Nothing is more important than finding Jesus. But once we have found Jesus, we must become stars ourselves, stars that guide others to Bethlehem, to the Stable where Jesus awaits them with all of His love and salvation. Our Lady told us: September 25, 2014 “Dear children! Also today I call you to also be like the stars, which by their light give light and beauty to others so they may rejoice. Little children, also you be the radiance, beauty, joy and peace – and especially prayer – for all those who are far from my love and the love of my Son Jesus. Little children, witness your faith and prayer in joy, in the joy of faith that is in your hearts; and pray for peace, which is a precious gift from God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we become little Stars of Bethlehem, guiding others to the True Light that enlightens every man! Jesus, the Savior, Christ, Our Lord!! We ask this of Thee, who, with the Father and the Holy Ghost, lives and reigns God, forever and ever. Amen. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

January 4, 2023 Reflection – Rejoice in the Lord always!

Rejoice in the Lord always!   January 4, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! As we enter a New Year the key word for us is “Rejoice”! There is no better gift to give to our Great God than to rejoice in His love and providence for us. St. Paul said it so well in his letter to the Philippians: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:4-9) Our Lady says it this way: August 25, 1988 “Dear children! Today I invite you all to rejoice in the life which God gives you. Little children, rejoice in God, the Creator, because He has created you so wonderfully. Pray that your life be joyful thanksgiving which flows out of your heart like a river of joy. Little children, give thanks unceasingly for all that you possess, for each little gift which God has given you, so that a joyful blessing always comes down from God upon your life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” And in this message as well: April 25, 1989 “Dear children! I am calling you to a complete surrender to God. Let everything that you possess be in the hands of God. Only in that way shall you have joy in your heart. Little children, rejoice in everything that you have. Give thanks to God because everything is God’s gift to you. That way in your life you shall be able to give thanks for everything and discover God in everything even in the smallest flower. Thank you for having responded to my call.” What a good way to begin 2023! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

January 3, 2023 Reflection – The Most Holy Name of Jesus!

The Most Holy Name of Jesus   January 3, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Today we celebrate the glory of the Most Holy Name of Jesus! How many times in a day do we say the Name of Jesus? If we pray the Rosary even once, it is many times that Jesus’ name is on our lips. I believe that Jesus wants us to say His Name as much as possible. He wants to be on our minds, in our hearts, in our conversations and our prayers, and in our deepest desires. He is our love and our life! We are so blessed to be given permission to say His Name intimately and often! Remember how Jesus was named: And the Angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. And He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.” (Lk 1: 30-33) Mary’s Son is great, called the Son of the Most High!! He is going to reign over the house of Jacob and indeed over the whole earth forever! And yet, we have been given the privilege to call upon Him by Name!! Wow!! Our Lady told us how important her Son’s name is in this message through Mirjana: “Dear children! Do not seek peace and happiness in vain, in the wrong places and in wrong things. Do not permit your hearts to become hard by loving vanity. Invoke the name of my Son. Receive Him in your heart. Only in the name of my Son will you experience true happiness and true peace in your heart. Only in this way will you come to know the love of God and spread it further. I am calling you to be my apostles.” (March 18, 2000) May we invoke the name of Jesus, reverently and prayerfully and often!! Here is a Litany to the Holy Name of Jesus we can pray today: Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus Lord, have mercy on us Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us, Christ, graciously hear us. God the Father of heaven, have mercy on us. Make us, O Lord, to have a perpetual fear and love of Your holy name, for You never fail to govern those whom You establish in Your love. You, Who live and reign forever and ever. January 2, 2023 Reflection – Time for a Saint to pick you for 2023!

Time for a Saint to pick you for 2023!   January 2, 2023 Dear Family of Mary! Happy New Year everyone! May this year be a year of victory and blessing for all of us!! Our Lady is with us in Medjugorje!! We are so blessed! There is a wonderful tradition in which we pray and ask a saint to come and accompany us through the New Year. Our Lady has encouraged us to stay close to the saints and take them as examples for our lives. This is a practical way to do that! She told us: “Dear children! I am with you and I rejoice today because the Most High has granted me to be with you and to teach you and to guide you on the path of perfection. Little children, I wish you to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers which I wish to present to God for the day of All Saints. I invite you to open yourselves and to live, taking the saints as an example. Mother Church has chosen them, that they may be an impulse for your daily life. Thank you for having responded to my call!” October 25, 1994 I am including a list of saints which you can print out and cut up, and put in a bowl. Then with your family you can each say a short prayer and draw out a saint to be your companion for 2023. We need these heavenly friends in these days!! Here is the document: Saints List PDF May our new saints be impulses for our daily life in 2023! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2023

December 31, 2022 Update from Denis – Love is the mark of true faith!

“Love is the mark of true faith!”   December 31, 2022 Dear Shipmates! I pray for blessings and peace for all of you in the coming year. I have been looking back over 2022, and I realize that God has done some amazing things for me this year. I would like to tell you about it. Last spring, I weighed 260 lbs. I didn’t think much of it. But then, I found out that a fellow pilgrim to Medjugorje, a young woman, was suffering greatly. She was being attacked by the devil and was tempted to suicide. Of course, I started praying for her and visiting her. But nothing seemed to help her. It was frustrating. But as I prayed, I came across this message from Our Lady: “Dear children! I am with you all these years to lead you to the way of salvation. Return to my Son; return to prayer and fasting. Little children, permit God to speak to your heart, because Satan is reigning and wants to destroy your lives and the earth on which you walk. Be courageous and decide for holiness. You will see conversion in your hearts and families; prayer will be heard; God will hear your cries and give you peace. I am with you and am blessing you all with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (March 25, 2020) Our Lady gave me the answer. Return to prayer and fasting! I had lost my desire to fast and I needed to begin to fast and pray as in the first days. Permit God to speak to your heart. I needed to start listening to the Lord deeply within. Be courageous and decide for holiness. I needed to reactivate my heart and do the hard things that needed to be done. It was a call to action from Our Lady. And so, I began to pray the Rosary as I walked around the lakes at Notre Dame. Most days I did 6 miles. I never stopped praying the Rosary as I walked, always for my friend. I didn’t stop. It was a grace for me to be courageous. I not only walked and prayed – I fasted. Every day. I just did it. It was a grace given to me through Our Lady’s message and her love. “Dear children through love you will achieve everything and even what you think is impossible…God permitted me to love you and, out of love, to call you… I desire that, through love, our hearts may triumph together.” I decided to love her. Love made fasting easy. Well six months later, I am down to 167 lbs. And my friend is getting better and better! The prayer and fasting opened the door for her healing, and my healing as well!! Our Lady’s messages are life changing. She comes from Heaven with words that are from the Holy Spirit! Our Lady wants us to help her to renew the face of the earth!! “I am preparing you for the new times that you may be firm in faith and persevering in prayer, so that the Holy Spirit may work through you and renew the face of the earth!” (June 25, 2019) Mother Mary also reawakened in me a heart for love. I have been changed by living her words. “You know that I love you and that out of love I long for you. Dear children, decide for love so that love prevails in all of you.” (11/20/86). “Decide for love!” (1/25/02) I believe that as we enter into 2023, Our Lady is with us to reawaken love in our hearts, and to give us her courage and faith, so that we can truly make a difference in this world. It is through love and prayer, fasting and courage that we will help Mother Mary defeat the enemy. She will show us the battles we each need to fight. We all have a call. We all have one Mother, Mary! She is leading us into the battle for souls in 2023! God bless you, Denis

December 30, 2022 Reflection – The Feast of the Holy Family

The Feast of the Holy Family   December 30, 2022 The Feast of the Holy Family Dear Family of Mary! Today we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family! Jesus, Mary and Joseph made up the Holy Family. They lived a very beautiful life of humility and love, together, each in their proper role, each living with pure and total love for the others. We probably don’t think to much about their many years together as a family. We have the dramatic stories in the Gospels, like the Birth of Jesus in a Stable in Bethlehem, the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, and the Finding of Jesus in the Temple. But there were hundreds of days that we have no account of. And they were spent in such a beautiful way, full of love, prayer, humility, generosity, respect, cooperation and probably some humor as well! They were the Holy Family! But they were a real family too. Our Lady has made it clear in her messages that each of our families are important. She wants our families to pray together, to read Scripture, to go to Holy Mass prayerfully, to pray the Rosary, to open our hearts to God, and to be holy! Our families are important to her plan. Have we given this enough attention over the years? We live in a world that is designed to destroy families. Have we tried to protect our families and guide them into holiness? Let’s pray the Joyful Mysteries today, and let Our Lady speak to us about our family life. She can help us to make the changes that will heal and bless our families, no matter how old we are. This day could be a beginning for us. Also, today a beautiful family will begin in Medjugorje. One of our Mary TV Team members, Mario, will marry his beloved Sarah today at 2:00 pm Medjugorje time. Mario has agreed to let us live-stream the wedding in St. James Church!! And you are all invited! Join us on the Channel at 2:00 pm Medjugorje time, today, Friday, December 30! And let’s pray for this blessed couple as they begin their married life. Mother Mary, please bless them and pray for them always! Here are the messages for the decades of the Rosary – the Joyful Mysteries: May 1, 1986 “Dear children! I beseech you to start changing your life in the family. Let the family be a harmonious flower that I wish to give to Jesus. Dear children, let every family be active in prayer for I wish that the fruits in the family be seen one day. Only that way shall I give you all, like petals, as a gift to Jesus in fulfillment of God’s plans. Thank you for having responded to my call.” August 25, 1995 “Dear children! Today I invite you to prayer. Let prayer be life for you. A family cannot say that it is in peace if it does not pray. Therefore, let your morning begin with morning prayer, and the evening end with thanksgiving. Little children, I am with you, and I love you and I bless you and I wish for every one of you to be in my embrace. You cannot be in my embrace if you are not ready to pray every day. Thank you for having responded to my call.” October 25, 2004 “Dear children! This is a time of grace for the family and, therefore, I call you to renew prayer. May Jesus be in the heart of your family. In prayer, learn to love everything that is holy. Imitate the lives of saints so that they may be an incentive and teachers on the way of holiness. May every family become a witness of love in this world without prayer and peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” December 25, 1991 “Dear children! Today in a special way I bring the little Jesus to you, that He may bless you with His blessing of peace and love. Dear children, do not forget that this is a grace which many people neither understand nor accept. Therefore, you who have said that you are mine, and seek my help, give all of yourself. First of all, give your love and example in your families. You say that Christmas is a family feast. Therefore, dear children, put God in the first place in your families, so that He may give you peace and may protect you not only from war, but also in peace protect you from every satanic attack. When God is with you, you have everything. But when you do not want Him, then you are miserable and lost, and you do not know on whose side you are. Therefore, dear children, decide for God. Then you will get everything. Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 24, 1986 “Dear children! I rejoice because of all of you who are on the way of holiness and I beseech you, by your own testimony help those who do not know how to live in holiness. Therefore, dear children, let your family be a place where holiness is birthed. Help everyone to live in holiness, but especially your own family. Thank you for having responded to my call.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Cathy Nolan (c) Mary TV 2022

December 29, 2022 Reflection – A Sign that will be contradicted

A sign that will be contradicted December 29, 2022 Dear Family of Mary! Today in our Gospel we hear the prophetic words of Simeon, who came in the spirit to the temple to meet Jesus and his Mother and Father. Simeon spoke in the Spirit to Mary and Joseph about what God had revealed to him about Jesus. It was a powerful moment! I believe that God wants to speak to us in a similar way, revealing to us His plans for us and sharing His Heart with us. Let’s take in these words of Scripture today and let them open our hearts to God: Luke 2:22-35 When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, the parents of Jesus took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord, and to offer the sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons, in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord. Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord. He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: “Lord, now let your servant go in peace; your word has been fulfilled: my own eyes have seen the salvation which you prepared in the sight of every people, a light to reveal you to the nations and the glory of your people Israel.”  The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted (and you yourself a sword will pierce) so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
