I offer you the Kingdom of God.   August 20, 2025 St. Bernard Dear Family of Mary! Today’s Gospel is Mt 10:1-16. Jesus teaches about the owner of a vineyard who hires workers throughout the day, and in the end pays them all the same wage. This story flies in the face of good stewardship!! You can’t run a business like that!!! And how do the workers feel who worked the entire day? But we know that Jesus was talking about the Kingdom of God in this parable. The end of the day prefigures the entrance into that Kingdom. We all desire to enter that Kingdom. And Our Lady desires this for us. And of course, each person in the parable who got the same wage, was actually getting eternal life with God! Not one of them could have earned that! Heaven is a gift beyond counting!! So the wages were and are incalcuable!! Here are two messages from Our Lady in which she talks about the Kingdom of God! Let her words speak to our hearts. She wants us to have the Kingdom of God in our hearts even now and then to enter the Kingdom of God, just like those workers! July 2, 2010 “Dear children; my motherly call, which I direct to you today, is a call of truth and life. My Son, who is life, loves you and knows you in truth. To come to know and to love yourself, you must come to know my Son; to come to know and to love others, you must see my Son in them. Therefore, my children, pray, pray, that you may comprehend and surrender with a spirit that is free, be completely transformed and, in this way, may have the Kingdom of Heaven in your heart on earth. Thank you!” August 2, 2010 “Dear children! Today I call you, together with me, to begin to build the Kingdom of Heaven in your hearts; that you may forget that which is personal and, led by the example of my Son, think of what is of God. What does He desire of you? Do not permit satan to open the paths of earthly happiness, the paths without my Son. My children, they are false and last a short while. My Son exists. I offer you eternal happiness and peace and unity with my Son, with God; I offer you the Kingdom of God. Thank you.” Yes, Mother Mary, we want to be those workers who approached the Landowner to ask for work. Morning, noon, or evening – what ever stage of life we are in – we want to approach the Landowner (Our Lord and God) and ask for work. We want to be His in such a way that we will get the same daily wage, entrance into God’s Glorious Kingdom! We know that you want this too. Guide us to our Heavenly King, and present us to Him as His humble laborers. We say yes! Please hire us, Lord!! “Live my messages even more strongly in humility and love”   August 19, 2025 St. John Eudes Dear Family of Mary! In our Gospel today, Jesus warns the disciples: “But many who are first will be last and the last will be first.” (Mt 19:30) This is such a simple statement! It is the end of a teaching that Jesus gave to His disciples about the dangers of being rich. Actually Jesus’ entire life on earth was a demonstration of this difficult saying. Jesus was poor, of no rank or station in society, a manual laborer like his foster father. He seemed to be the last, but was indeed the first! Jesus is our model of humility. Humility is a precious gift, a blessed state of soul. Our Lady was also humble. She had no station, no power, only her love and humility to give to others. We would do well to imitate Jesus and Mary! Our Lady has asked us to live in humility in many of her messages. Here are five of them, that we can ponder in our Rosary today. May humility grow in us, as we follow Our Lady! September 19, 1985 “Dear children! Today I invite you to live in humility all the messages which I am giving you. Do not become arrogant living the messages and saying ‘I am living the messages.’ If you shall bear and live the messages in your heart, everyone will feel it so that words, which serve those who do not obey, will not be necessary. For you, dear children, it is necessary to live and witness by your lives. Thank you for having responded to my call.” November 25, 1988 “Dear children! I call you to prayer, to have an encounter with God in prayer. God gives Himself to you, but He wants you to answer in your own freedom to his invitation. That is why little children during the day, find yourself a special time when you could pray in peace and humility, and have this meeting with God the creator. I am with you and I intercede for you in front of God, so watch in vigil, so that every encounter in prayer be the joy of your contact with God. Thank you for having responded to my call.” April 25, 2004 “Dear children! Also today, I call you to live my messages even more strongly in humility and love so that the Holy Spirit may fill you with His grace and strength. Only in this way will you be witnesses of peace and forgiveness. Thank you for having responded to my call.” October 25, 2005 “Little children, believe, pray and love, and God will be near you. He will give you the gift of all the graces you seek from Him. I am a gift to you, because, from day to day, God permits me to be with you and to love each of you with immeasurable love. Therefore, little children, in prayer and humility, open your hearts and be witnesses of my presence. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 25, 2016 “Dear children! Also today I am calling all of you to prayer. You cannot live without prayer, because prayer is a chain which brings you closer to God. Therefore, little children, in humility of heart return to God and to His commandments so that with all of your heart you are able to say: as it is in Heaven so may it be on earth. You, little children, are free to in freedom decide for God or against Him. See where Satan wants to pull you into sin and slavery. Therefore, little children, return to my heart so that I can lead you to my Son Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” God bless you all today! Listen to my messages! August 18, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady has been giving us messages from the very beginning of her apparitions in Medjugorje. These messages have been carefully written down and are archived on the Parish website. It is amazing that Our Lady has continued to give messages to us for 44 years and counting!! Many of us have been prayerfully listening to her messages for many years. I find that they never grow old. Her advice and council is always fresh and helpful. Here are five messages in which Our Lady asks us to “listen to my messages!” May we never stop listening to them!! March 21, 1985 “Dear children! I wish to keep on giving messages and therefore today I call you to live and accept my messages! Dear children, I love you and in a special way I have chosen this parish, one more dear to me than the others, in which I have gladly remained when the Almighty sent me. Therefore I call on you; accept me, dear children, that it might go well with you. Listen to my messages! Thank you for having responded to my call.” July 25, 1985 “Dear children! I desire to lead you, but you do not wish to listen to my messages. Today I am calling you to listen to the messages and then you will be able to live everything which God tells me to convey to you. Open yourselves to God and God will work through you and keep on giving you everything you need. Thank you for having responded to my call.” January 8, 1987 “Dear children! I desire to thank you for every response to the messages. Especially, dear children, thank you for all the sacrifices and prayers which you have presented to me. Dear children, I desire to keep on giving you still further messages, only not every Thursday, dear children, but on each 25th in the month. The time has come when what my Lord desired has been fulfilled. Now I will give you less messages, but I am still with you. Therefore, dear children, I beseech you, listen to my messages and live them, so I can guide you. Dear children, thank you for having responded to my call.” June 25, 2008 “Dear children! Also today, with great joy in my heart, I call you to follow me and to listen to my messages. Be joyful carriers of peace and love in this peaceless world. I am with you and I bless you all with my Son Jesus, the King of Peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.” March 18, 2003 “Dear children! Particularly at this holy time of penance and prayer, I call you to make a choice. God gave you free will to choose life or death. Listen to my messages with the heart that you may become cognizant of what you are to do and how you will find the way to life. My children, without God you can do nothing; do not forget this even for a single moment. For, what are you and what will you be on earth, when you will return to it again. Do not anger God, but follow me to life. Thank you for being here.” Mother, we will listen to your messages with our hearts!! The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary   August 15, 2025 The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Dear Family of Mary! Today we celebrate the incredible joy and wonder of Our Mother’s entrance into Heaven, Body and Soul!! She was assumed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and took her place in Heaven, before the Blessed Trinity! She who is so loved by God!!! But Our Mother has not remained aloof! She has come to us over the centuries to this day. And now, in a most incredible way, she is with us in Medjugorje!! She has spoken to us!!! Imagine!! Here is a message from 2016 through Mirjana. It is a message from Heaven, from our Mother in Heaven!! She mentions her Assumption!! February 2, 2016  “Dear children, I have called you and am calling you anew to come to know my Son, to come to know the truth. I am with you and am praying for you to succeed. My children, you must pray much in order to have all the more love and patience; to know how to endure sacrifice and to be poor in spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, my Son is always with you… His Church is born in every heart that comes to know Him. Pray that you can come to know my Son; pray that your soul may be one with Him. That is the prayer and the love which draws others and makes you my apostles. I am looking at you with love, with a motherly love. I know you; I know your pain and sorrows, because I also suffered in silence. My faith gave me love and hope. I repeat, the Resurrection of my Son and my Assumption into Heaven is hope and love for you. Therefore, my children, pray to come to know the truth; to have firm faith which will lead your heart and which will transform your pain and sufferings into love and hope. Thank you.” Indeed, Our Mother’s Assumption is a great sign of hope for her children!! One day, we will be with her there, where life never ends, and hope is fulfilled completely. Let us pray to our Mother, assumed into Heaven! Prayer to Mary, Assumed into Heaven O Immaculate Mary, Assumed into heaven, you who are most blessed in the vision of God: of God the Father who exalted you among all creatures, of God the Son who willed that you bear Him as your Son and that you should be His Mother, of God the Holy Spirit who accomplished the human conception of the Savior in you. O Mary, most pure, O Mary, most sweet and beautiful, O Mary, strong and thoughtful woman, O Mary, poor and sorrowful, O Mary, virgin and mother, woman very human like Eve, , more than Eve. You are near to God by your grace and by your privileges in your mysteries in your mission, in your glory. O Mary, assumed into the glory of Christ in the complete and transfigured perfection of our human nature. O Mary, gate of heaven mirror of divine light ark of the Covenant between God and mankind, let our souls fly after you let them fly along your radiant path, transported by a hope that the world does not contain- eternal beatitude. Comfort us from heaven, O merciful Mother, and guide us along your ways of purity and hope till the day of that blessed meeting with you and with your divine Son our Savior, Jesus. Amen! (Saint Paul VI) And here is why we are praying today: Amazingly, on this Feast of Our Mother’s Assumption, President Trump and Presiden Putin are going to meet in Alaska at 11:30 a.m. Alaska time (3:30 pm ET) to try to hammer out a peace agreement. This is no accident. Our Mother has arranged this meeting. She needs our prayers! Constant prayer is needed all day. Pray for these two men to be open to the Holy Spirit. Pray that they will listen in their hearts ot the prompting of Our Lady and her Spouse! There is a way to peace. She will show them! God will empower them. Let us pray, pray, pray!! I desire to be your mother, your intercessor! August 14, 2025 St. Maximillian Kolbe Dear Family of Mary! St. Maximillian Kolbe truly understood the dire necessity of living our lives in deep consecration to Mary! He taught without cease the wonders and power of the Immaculata. He desired that everyone would make a consecration to Our Lady, giving their lives over into her hands. The night before he was taken to the concentration camp he kept his brothers up all night, trying to explain why this consecration was so important. On his feast day, I would like to share the consecration prayer he wrote. And I would like to share a message that Our Lady of Medjugorje gave to us, that echos perfectly his prayer. Here is the consecration prayer of St. Maximillian Kolbe: O Immaculata, Queen of Heaven and earth, refuge of sinners and our most loving Mother, God has willed to entrust the entire order of mercy to you. I, (name), a repentant sinner, cast myself at your feet, humbly imploring you to take me with all that I am and have, wholly to yourself as your possession and property. Please make of me, of all my powers of soul and body, of my whole life, death and eternity, whatever most pleases you. If it pleases you, use all that I am and have without reserve, wholly to accomplish what was said of you: “She will crush your head,” and “You alone have destroyed all heresies in the whole world.” Let me be a fit instrument in your immaculate and merciful hands for introducing and increasing your glory to the maximum in all the many strayed and indifferent souls, and thus help extend as far as possible the blessed kingdom of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. For wherever you enter you obtain the grace of conversion and growth in holiness, since it is through your hands that all graces come to us from the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. ℣. Allow me to praise you, O Sacred Virgin ℟. Give me strength against your enemies Amen Here is a message from Our Lady in which she offers the very things that St. Maximillian Kolbe desired!!! May her words go deeply into our hearts and bear fruit in us! March 18, 2018 “Dear children! I am coming among you because I desire to be your mother – your intercessor. I desire to be the bond between you and the Heavenly Father – your mediatrix. I desire to take you by the hand and to walk with you in the battle against the impure spirit. My children, consecrate yourselves to me completely. I will take your lives into my motherly hands and I will teach them peace and love, and then I will give them over to my Son. I am asking of you to pray and fast because only in this way will you know how to witness my Son in the right way through my motherly heart. Pray for your shepherds that, united in my Son, they can always joyfully proclaim the Word of God. Thank you.” I know that it is hard to understand consecration to Mary! But please take time to ponder how much we need her today. The world has run amok. We cannot find the good, and the way to God on our own. It is futile. We need Our Lady to guide us into all truth and goodness, indeed to guide us to her Son, Jesus. She longs to be our intercessor, mediatrix, and mother! The is not time now to wait. Call upon Mary! Today, like never before, I invite you to prayer. August 13, 2025 Saints Pontian and Hippolytus Dear Family of Mary! Here is another well remembered message from Our Lady! This message left us breathless when we first received it in 1991. Our Lady spoke so directly to us, with such urgency!! Today it still holds true, though we have passed through many perilous times since then. January 25, 1991  “Dear children! Today, like never before, I invite you to prayer. Let your prayer be a prayer for peace. Satan is strong and desires to destroy not only human life, but also nature and the planet on which you live. Therefore, dear children, pray that through prayer you can protect yourselves with God’s blessing of peace. God has sent me among you so that I may help you. If you so wish, grasp for the rosary. Even the rosary alone can work miracles in the world and in your lives. I bless you and I remain with you for as long as it is God’s will. Thank you for not betraying my presence here and I thank you because your response is serving the good and the peace.” I believe that we need to pray with this message, applying it to these days we are in. I want to protect you from everything that satan offers you and through which he wants to destroy you.   August 12, 2025 St. Jane Frances de Chantal Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady is with us in Medjugorje for so many reasons. She wants to bless us, teach us, lead us, console us, warn us, accompany us, and so much more. One way that she helps us is through her protection! As we all know, we live in a world that is awash in spiritual and physical dangers. The battle for our souls is intense these days. Mother Mary is with us in Medjugorje especially to protect us from all the traps that our enemy has laid for us. She is our Mother, and longs to cover us with her mantle of protection. Here is a message in which she offers her protection to us: March 25, 1990 “Dear children! I am with you even if you are not conscious of it. I want to protect you from everything that satan offers you and through which he wants to destroy you. As I bore Jesus in my womb, so also, dear children, do I wish to bear you into holiness. God wants to save you and sends you messages through men, nature, and so many things which can only help you to understand that you must change the direction of your life. Therefore, little children, understand also the greatness of the gift which God is giving you through me, so that I may protect you with my mantle and lead you to the joy of life. Thank you for having responded to my call.” Thank you, dearest Mother, for coming to our rescue! Thank you for protecting us with your mantle, and leading us to the safety of God’s love. Medjugorje is a sign to all of you…   August 11, 2025 St. Clare Dear Family of Mary! After an intense week of prayer, catechesis, beautiful celebrations of the Holy Mass, and just plain joy as we sang with the choir, we find ourselves back to a normal routine. But the joy lingers in our hearts!! Thank you, Mother Mary, for the Youth Festival. We have all been replenished! As I prayed about what to share with you today, I heard the word suffering. I decided to do a search in the messages, and I came across this message, April 25, 1992. I realized that this message was given during the Balkan war in the early 90’s. Such a dark time it was, especially for the parishioners of St. James Parish and all those involved with that terrible war. But I then was reminded that our time is no different. We have wars going on in many countries. And we have societal wars going on as well. There is very little peace today. So I want to share this message with you all. It is very meaningful. April 25, 1992  “Dear children! Today also I invite you to prayer. Only by prayer and fasting can war be stopped. Therefore, my dear little children, pray and by your life give witness that you are mine and that you belong to me, because satan wishes in these turbulent days to seduce as many souls as possible. Therefore, I invite you to decide for God and He will protect you and show you what you should do and which path to take. I invite all those who have said ‘yes’ to me to renew their consecration to my Son Jesus and to His Heart and to me so we can take you more intensely as instruments of peace in this unpeaceful world. Medjugorje is a sign to all of you and a call to pray and live the days of grace that God is giving you. Therefore, dear children, accept the call to prayer with seriousness. I am with you and your suffering is also mine. Thank you for having responded to my call.” This message gives us a roadmap for these days. We who are responding to Our Lady’s call have been given a specific job to do. We are being asked to consecrate ourselves to Jesus and Mary, and to become instruments of peace in this unpeaceful world. The people in Medjugorje responded to this very call, and their village was spared. Now it has become an oasis of peace for the whole world. The Holy Mass on the last night of the Youth Festival!   August 8, 2025 Youth Festival, Day 5 Dear Family of Mary! The Evening Mass for the last night of the Medjugorje Youth Festival was very moving. The atmosphere of worship and praise of God was intense and moving. The whole assembly had been well prepared to pray! This picture above gives us an idea of the vast number of people who were gathered together to worship Jesus, in the dark of night! No one wanted to leave. But they all knew that during the night they would be awakened to climb Cross Mountain, in order to reach the top at dawn, when Holy Mass would be celebrated!! This is the way each Youth Festival ends. A night of worship and adoration of Jesus, followed by a treck up Cross Mountain for Holy Mass at dawn! What a precious time this is for the young people. Our Lady says to us: July 2, 2009  “Dear children! I am calling you because I need you. I need hearts ready for immeasurable love. Hearts that are not burdened by vanity. Hearts that are ready to love as my Son loved, that are ready to sacrifice themselves as my Son sacrificed Himself. I need you. In order to come with me, forgive yourselves, forgive others and adore my Son. Adore Him also for those who have not come to know Him, those who do not love Him… Therefore, I need you. Therefore, I call you. Thank you.” Mother Mary needs us to be her children who follow her with complete trust and love. She needs us to be listening with our hearts to her call to us. If we do not listen, who will? We need to be her apostles of love, her dear children who are ready to help her to gather souls for heaven. May we respond to her call! May we say yes to her! Last night, August 6, at the end of the long day of prayer, catechesis, and Holy Mass, everyone was given a candle, which was lit in honor of Christ’s Light in our hearts. The picture above, captures it from above St. James Church, in a dramatic display!! It was incredible!! Today is Day 4 of the Youth Festival in Medjugorje! Today I invite you to become missionaries of my messages, which I am giving here through this place that is dear to me. God has allowed me to stay this long with you and therefore, little children, I invite you to live with love the messages I give and to transmit them to the whole world, so that a river of love flows to people who are full of hatred and without peace. I invite you, little children, to become peace where there is no peace and light where there is darkness, so that each heart accepts the light and the way of salvation. Thank you for having responded to my call.” May we all become missionaries of her messages!! This is the good news that the entire world needs to hear!!
