The December 2, 2020, Reflection – Heaven’s Time

Heaven’s Time December 2, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! ”Dear children! This is a time of love, warmth, prayer and joy…” (11/25/20) I must admit I didn’t expect Our Lady to say this.  I would not call this “time” we are living in a time of love, warmth, prayer and joy.  If we look around us, it seems to be anything but… In our larger societies we seem to have more discord and even hatred than love, with political divisions everywhere.  Due to Covid 19, instead of warmth, human warmth that is, we are encouraged to maintain distance from one another, stay home, alone, wear masks and basically stay put.  Not very warm.  And prayer, well many of us cannot even get to Holy Mass.  Finally, joy seems to be dampened. There is a heavy oppression over the world right now. And yet, Our Lady tells us, even announces to us that this is a time of love, warmth, prayer and joy! Our Mother is very counter-cultural!!  She comes from the culture of Heaven, where it is always the time for love, warmth, prayer and joy!!  And she is bringing that culture to us.  She is giving us a taste of Heaven on earth through her presence.  And so, this time is a time of love, warmth, prayer, and joy precisely because Our Lady is with us!!  She is here with us, now!! Her presence will conquer the prevailing culture in the world, the culture that is having such a chilling effect upon our hearts and souls.  She not only announces this time of love, warmth, prayer and joy, she actually gives us those very things. Our Lady loves us.  She told us: I am with you and intercede for all of you. Little children, do not forget that I love you with a tender love. (02/25/02) She brings her motherly warmth to us: “Dear children! Open your hearts to the grace which God is giving you through me, as a flower that opens to the warm rays of the sun…” (04/25/14) She teaches us to pray: Dear children, I beseech you to open yourselves and begin to pray. Prayer will be your joy. If you make a start, it won’t be boring to you because you will be praying out of joy.” (03/20/1986) And she gives us joy: “Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you. In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting…” (08/25/2000) Our Lady is bringing us into the Kingdom of Heaven, where there is so much love, warmth, prayer and joy, that we will never comprehend it completely.  It will just increase and explode as we behold it!  I think she is telling us that our true home is in Heaven and that the time we are in right now is Heaven’s time.  We just need to say “yes” to it and let her guide us there. The December 1, 2020, Reflection – The Feeling of Heaven!

The Feeling of Heaven! December 1, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! ”Dear children! This is a time of love, warmth, prayer and joy. Pray, little children, for little Jesus to be born in your hearts. Open your hearts to Jesus who gives Himself to each of you. God sent me to be joy and hope in this time, and I am saying to you: Without little Jesus you do not have the tenderness or the feeling of Heaven which is hidden in the Newborn…” (November 25, 2020) We are in the first week of Advent! And I feel my eyes and my heart turned towards the coming of Christ – with almost double vision.  I am looking with longing for the first coming of Jesus in His Birth, remembered so lovingly in our collective memory as Christians, and at the same time gazing with ever increasing yearning for the Second Coming Christ, so powerfully promised by Jesus in the Gospels and the Book of Revelations.  I feel the deep need for Jesus to return in His Glory.  It overwhelms me at times. And so, I find myself tearing my eyes away from the disturbing events of this world and fixing them with growing desire upon the Kingdom to come, the Heavenly Kingdom to which Jesus wants to bring us forever. I want to share with you a short excerpt from a book written by Father William R Bonniwell, O.P. in 1958.  I found this excerpt in the Magnificat for November 2020, p. 396. It describes so beautifully this desire I am feeling for Heaven.  This is where our eyes should be gazing! “When we arrive at our Father’s house, it will not be as a stranger…. There will be the resplendent throngs of angels and saints, our truest friends, who so many times interceded to God for us throughout our whole life. But of all this joyous, welcoming throng, there will be one who will give us a welcome that will be unique; it will be the welcome given us by that Mother whom Christ gave us on Mount Calvary, the Blessed Virgin Mary. She will greet us as only a mother can greet one of her children who, after a long and dangerous journey, has at last returned safely home! “And then, our enraptured eyes will behold the beatific vision! By a special grace, called the light of glory, infused in our intellect, elevating and perfecting it, we shall be able to see almighty God face to face. We shall be transported with ecstasy at the vision of the beauty, glory, splendor, and perfection of the Lord God of Hosts, and beholding the glory of the Lord, we shall be transformed into his very image, from glory to glory, by the spirit of the Lord. The ecstatic rapture caused by this glorious beatific vision will never lessen, will never vary in its intensity, because God’s ineffable attributes are really and truly infinite, really and truly inexhaustible. Nor can we ever grow tired of gazing at this vision of Goodness and Love because our glorified body will not be susceptible of weariness; it can never grow tired. And so, every moment throughout the endless ages of eternity, every moment we shall be discovering more and more dazzling beauties and perfections in the God of infinite holiness. And in that marvelous vision of the Godhead our restless, unsatisfied heart will at last find perfect peace and perfect contentment, for it shall have finally found what it had been seeking all throughout life—perfect love.”  (Fr. William R. Bonniwell, O.P. – from “What Think You of Christ?” 1958) “There will be one who will give us a welcome that will be unique!” Our Mother, Mary!!!  How can we think about anything else?  We are the most blessed of children to have such a Mother.  Let us allow her to lead us in the Advent – ever closer to her Son.  Nothing else matters. The November 30, Reflection – A time of love, warmth, prayer and joy!

A time of love, warmth, prayer and joy! November 30, 2020 St. Andrew, Apostle Dear Family of Mary! ”Dear children! This is a time of love, warmth, prayer and joy. Pray, little children, for little Jesus to be born in your hearts. Open your hearts to Jesus who gives Himself to each of you. God sent me to be joy and hope in this time, and I am saying to you: Without little Jesus you do not have the tenderness or the feeling of Heaven which is hidden in the Newborn. Therefore, little children, work on yourselves. By reading the Sacred Scripture you will discover Jesus’ birth and joy, as in the first days which Medjugorje gave to humanity. History will be truth which, also today, is being repeated in you and around you. Work on and build peace through the Sacrament of Confession. Reconcile with God, little children, and you will see miracles around you. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (November 25, 2020) These words from Our Lady have changed everything for me.  I don’t know how to express it, but this message is changing me.  I just read it over and over. I find I can’t say anything else right now.  So, as we begin Advent, I just want to invite you to read this message several time today, slowly and patiently.  Just let it sink it.  I think we will find ourselves being transformed. God bless you all! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! November 27, 2020 Update from Denis – The Final Battle

(c)Mary TV   November 27, 2020 “I am with you and I unceasingly pray for you that your life may be a reflection of Heaven here on earth.” (April 25, 2011) “Medjugorje is the Bethlehem of the new millennium!” Fr. Daniel Ange Dear Apostles of Our Lady of Medjugorje, Family of Mary TV, When I first read Our Lady’s November 25, 2020 message I thought, “You’ve got to be kidding me! Is she off in la la land… ‘Are you the only one who does not know the things that have happened in these days?’”  (…as was said to her Son on the road to Emmaus). But I soon came to realize she knows exactly what she’s talking about.  “Listen to me, I speak for your salvation…Again little children I call you not to be deaf but to comprehend my call which is salvation for you!”  Our Lady is with us to bring us into God’s plan. Like Jesus with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, she is explaining that plan to us. Like those disciples, we don’t get it yet, but we are going to be amazed at where she is leading us! And she tells us if we follow her: “You will see miracles around you!” In Rev. 20, the first reading at Mass today: the angel comes down from heaven and throws Satan “into the abyss, which he locked over it and sealed, so that it could no longer lead the nations astray until the thousand years are completed. After this, it is to be released for a short time. Then I saw thrones; those who sat on them were entrusted with judgment…” “After this, it is to be released for a short time.” During her December 31, 1999 apparition, Our Lady told Marija she would appear to her again a second time that night on the mountain, and all were welcomed to join. Many pilgrims from around the world did. During that apparition, the last before the new millennium, Our Lady told Marija Satan had been unchained. Jesus told St. Faustina and others, including Saint John Paul ll, that we are now in the final battle between Christ and the anti Christ… the final battle before the Lord’s return. Right after Our Lady’s apparition on October 24, 2017, Marija said before Mary TV’s live streaming cameras: “I believe that now, with this year, begins, as Our Lady said, the triumph of her Immaculate Heart!” We’re in battle. The final battle! Shipmates are forwarding to me what people are forwarding to them from the internet – what people are telling them they need to be doing to prepare for the future. My answer is always the same. Stay with Our Lady of Medjugorje! She alone knows the future. “The woman from the future” alone has the way to get there. Don’t get distracted from what she’s telling us in her messages. Even though some people may be saying some good things, don’t start letting yourself be lead by them. Trust only Our Lady of Medjugorje, the real living breathing Blessed Mother here with us! “Dear children, my real, living presence among you should make you happy because this is the great love of my Son. He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety!” (July 2, 20916). Hold on to her with both hands! Only she has the safe path to the future. “I gave my Son to you and am giving Him to you anew….Therefore, my children, do not wander, do not close your heart before that truth, hope and love. Everything around you is passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains. Therefore, renounce everything that distances you from the Lord…”(September 2, 2011) That’s good news!!! Our Lady is routing Satan. She sees what’s coming and she’s filled with joy.“Dear children! Also in this difficult time God’s love sends me to you. My children, do not be afraid, I am with you. With complete trust give me your hearts, that I may help you to recognize the signs of the time in which you live. I will help you to come to know the love of my Son. I will triumph through you. Thank you.”(June 2, 2007) God bless you! Denis PS. The matching grant campaign has been extended due to the generosity of our matching grant donor!! The November 28, Reflection – The Final Day of our Novena!

Votive Candles before the Lord! November 28, 2020 Dear Family of Mary, We have prayed 2 consecutive novenas for our countries and the world.  Today we offer a prayer to Jesus, thanking Him for having heard our prayers.  Our Lady told St. Faustina: “My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. For nine days receive Holy Communion in atonement and unite yourself closely to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.” (Diary 325) I believe this is a powerful way to pray every day for our countries and the world, so much in need of God’s Mercy.  Here is a prayer using St. Faustina’s words that we can pray today, as offerings before the Lord for our countries. PRAYER FOR DIVINE MERCY O greatly merciful God, You who are infinite goodness, today all humanity cries out from the depths of our misery to Your mercy, to Your compassion, O God.  Gracious God, do not reject the prayers of this earth’s exiles! O Lord, You are goodness beyond our understanding, and You know well our pain and suffering. Because by our own power we cannot ascend to You, we implore You, bless us in abundance with Your grace, and increase Your mercy in us, so that we may faithfully do Your holy will throughout our life and at death’s hour. Let the greatness of Your mercy shield us from the powers of our salvation’s enemies, that we may with confidence, as Your humble children, await Your final coming – that day known to You alone. And we expect to obtain everything promised us by Jesus in spite of all our weakness and misery. For Jesus is our Hope, and through His merciful Heart, as through an open gate, may we pass to eternal life with You in Heaven. Amen. (Adapted from the Diary of Sister Faustina, 1570) Also, tomorrow is the beginning of Advent!  The message we received from Our Lady on November 25, 2020 will guide us through this Advent! “Dear children! Let me share the beginning lines of the November 25, 2020 message.  And then we will pray a Litany to the Infant Jesus!  There is something very important about Our Lady’s words to us about the Infant Jesus.  Take them deeply into your hearts! ”Dear children! Open your hearts to Jesus who gives Himself to each of you…” (November 25, 2020) Litany of the Infant Jesus Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy, Christ, have mercy. The November 26, Reflection – The November 25, 2020 Message

Work on yourselves! November 26, 2020 Dear Family of Mary! Here is the November 25, 2020 message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace: ”Dear children! Cathy Nolan Mary TV 2020 P.S.  Continue to pray our novena today, by being “votive candles” before the Lord, praying for your countries and for the world!!!

Invoke the help of all the saints! November 25, 2020 St. Catherine of Alexandria, Virgin and Martyr Dear Family of Mary! Day 7 of our second novena for our countries and the world!  Here is our inspiration. Our Lady speaks to St. Faustina: “My daughter, what I demand from you is prayer, prayer, and once again prayer, for the world and especially for your country. During these nine days you will stand before God as an offering; always and everywhere, at all times and places, day or night, whenever you wake up, pray in the spirit. In spirit, one can always remain in prayer.” (Diary 325) Our Lady’s last message was a strong call to prayer, with a warning to us that Satan is strong and is fighting to draw all the more hearts to himself.  Let us recall her words today, as we await the new message and may we pray as she calls us: ”Dear children, At this time, I am calling you to return to God and to prayer. Invoke the help of all the saints, for them to be an example and a help to you. Satan is strong and is fighting to draw all the more hearts to himself. He wants war and hatred. That is why I am with you for this long, to lead you to the way of salvation, to Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Little children, return to the love for God and He will be your strength and refuge. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (October 25, 2020) Since Our Lady asked us to invoke the saints as an example and help to us, let’s pray the Litany of Saints today!   The Litany of the Saints Lord, have mercy on us.
